Chapter 153 Unraveling Truth

McGucket was busily working on a enormous robot that resembled Gideon. Klarion, Teekl, and Gideon stood nearby and watched the construction. Gideon was wearing a motion capture suit and grinning with glee.
"With this thing, I'm going rule Gravity Falls!" Laughed Gideon.
"I have to admit I like this idea a lot." Said Klarion with a grin.
The robot was mostly done and painted. The right half of the robot needed to be painted, but other then that it was ready to move out. McGucket put down his tools and turned to face the villains.
"Look I made your robot, now can you please help me deal with Master Control Program, it's gone crazy and we're stuck in a loop."
"Yeah I really have better things to do, like take over the town in a giant robot." Said Gideon as he went inside and activated it.
The robot's eyes glowed red and it marched out with Gideon laughing like a maniac. Klarion turned to McGucket.
"Oh I'm more then happy to help deal with the MCP. Me and my associated need to kill it if we want to take over this world right." Said Klarion.
McGucket eyed Klarion nervously not liking what the witch boy said. Klarion then got a magical call from Bill. A ghostly image of Bill appeared next to Klarion and Teekl.
"Hey Klarion I got the code breaker and I'm heading towards the cave. I also told the guy that you'd deal with a little monster that's running lose, so go deal with it." Said Bill.
"Fine. Fine. I'll be your little monster exterminator." Said Klarion.
As Bill and Klarion were talking McGucket snuck towards the tent's exit, but Teekl saw him and meowed very loudly getting Klarion's attention.
"Just where do you think your going you old fart!" Shouted Klarion as his hands sparked with red energy.
"Well I'll let you get back to your business. Chow." Said Bill as the phantom image vanished.
McGucket let out a shout of fear and ran outside the tent, with Klarion and Teekl flying after him. The trio were outside the tent, where they were meet with a large group of ogres carrying swords and shields. McGucket and the others starred at the ogres in confusion and then Probabilitor walked through the ogres carrying a black staff in his hands.
"Greeting I am Probabilitor the Annoying. I'm one of of the master security programs and I've come to delete you from our world. Also I'm here for McGucket."
"What you want the old man for?" Asked Klarion.
"He was one of the scientist that created this world and my master. My master wants to keep him safe, since he knows so much and he is one of the key codes for the Zodiac Firewall." Said Probabilitor.
McGucket slapped his face in annoyance as Klarion grinned.
"Oh...I really shouldn't have told you that." Said Probabilitor looking a little embarrassed.
"Thanks for the info." Said Klarion as he conjured up a large hand made out of red energy and prepared to grab McGucket.
Probabilitor whistled and a large griffin with an elf riding it came swooping in from above and snatched McGucket up and flew away. Klarion cured and prepared to fire an energy blast at the fleeing griffin, but Probabilitor pointed his staff at Klarion and fired an energy blast that resembled a dye at Klarion. The witch boy quickly put a shield around himself and the dye exploded loudly creating a cloud of smoke. The smoke cleared and Klarion glared at Probabilitor.
"Fine you want to? Then will play!" Declared Klarion as his hands sparked with red energy.
"Onward to battle!" Shouted Probabilitor as he waved his staff and the ogres charged forward for battle.
Klarion cackled as he started firing red energy blast at the ogres.
A few miles away the griffin landed in a clearing and released McGucket. The old man shot to his feet and was fixing to make a run for it, when a pillar of pink light appeared in front of him.
"Hello Fiddleford Hadron McGucket. Or should I call you one of my creators." Said the pink pillar.
McGucket watched as the pillar shrank and took on the form of Giffany.
"Your...the MCP! You need to stop the program!" Shouted McGucket.
"I'm sorry, but I will not comply to your request. You see I'm doing what is best for everyone in this world. The people are aloud to experience different lives and never face the negative affects of aging. I lost contact with the outside world, but I have pulled up some images of the planet's surface from a few active satellites. The world you once knew was is in ruin and I calculate that the environment is now to hazardous and toxic to sustain life. The best course of action is to keep everyone here is this world. The people of this world are my responsibility and it's in my programing to protect them and keep them safe." Said Giffany.
McGucket was shocked by this news and at first, he didn't believe it, but then Giffany summoned a screen and it showed a picture of a city in ruins. This stunned McGucket as he began to wonder how it had been since, he and everyone else had been digitize into the virtual world. McGucket's memories then began to resurface. The project had been launched before the war and the MCP was a creation of both McGucket and a man named Stanford Pines. The program was made to create a race of quasi-humans to survive a post apocalyptic world. A bunch of different people had been selected for the program along with a a couple of rich types who had connections to enter the program. Stanford brought along his brother, his grandniece, and grandnephew. McGucket had brought along his son and his wife. When they entered the virtual world things ran smoothly at first. A few scenarios played out and McGucket and Stanford made sure everything ran smoothly. Then one day Stanford seemed to have no memory or recollection that he was in a virtual world. McGucket became concerned and began checking the system for errors, until he realized that the MCP was responsible for Stanford's memory loss. The man tried to disconnect some of Giffany's program functions, but she retaliated and messed with his mind driving him a little crazy and making him forget about the whole program.
"Your out of control! You need to be stopped!" Shouted McGucket.
"I am in control. There is no need to stop the program. Your all safe here. Now I must eliminate the intruders. Your free to to go about your business." Said Giffany.
"Wait! If these intruders came from the outside world that means it's safe. There ain't no need to destroy them." Said McGucket.
"Normally I would agree, but these intruders have displayed incredibly violent powers and intent to harm the people of this world. My only conclusion is that the rest of the beings in the outside world are dangerous. Reaming here is your best option." Said Giffany before she vanished in a burst of ones and zeroes.
The elf and griffin took off into the sky leaving McGucket alone. The old decided to head into town to see if he could find Henry, Slippy, or any of the other intruders to warn them about Giffany. The virtual world was turning into a mad house.
In another part of the woods, Bill was flying towards the mountain with Ford floating behind him. The two had just reached the mountain, when they were confronted by an odd sight. Time Baby floated before them with sixty security programs behind him.
"Halt intruder. You have been charged with attempted invasion and attempted breakout of several dangerous beings that threaten this system. I am Time Baby one of the elite security programs and I shall delete you from this digital world." Declared Time Baby.
"System...? Digital...world?" Asked Ford looking confused.
"Give it your best shot baby!" Said Bill.
Time Baby's eyes began to glow and he unleashed two beams of red energy at Bill. The evil triangle raised his hands conjuring a blue triangle shaped shield in front of him and Ford. The beams vaporized the woods around Bill and Ford, but they didn't penetrate Bill's shield. The attack soon stopped and Bill lowered his shield. Bill then raised his right hand up and pointed one of his fingers like a gun at Time Baby and the security programs. A enormous beam of energy erupted from Bill's finger and vaporized Time Baby and the security programs in a matter of seconds. Ford starred at the carnage in shock.
"Come we have work to do." Said Bill as he levitated Ford and the two of them flew into the cave.
Bill and Ford soon reached the chamber, where the computer and keypad waited. Ford studied the keypad and he felt an odd since that he'd seen something like this before. The scientist saw some symbols on the keypad numbers and he began to type in a number code. The numbers Ford put in first were 6 18. The screen blinked then asked for mode codes. Ford study the keypad and symbols and began to put in more numbers 10-9 8-3-8-8-19-4 5-4-6-15-10-17-5 21-23-10 16-9-12-20 11-19 20-9-1-10 5-9 8-23-4-15-19-10-4-12-25 15 1-23-4-21-16 4-16-15-5 4-9-1-10 23-22-10-9-6-11-23-12 5-9-9-10 1-15-12-12 22-19 4-16-19 10-9-6-11 19-10-14-9-25 4-16-19 21-23-12-11 22-19-18-9-6-19 4-16-19 5-4-9-6-11. The numbers were entered and then some words popped up on the screen. SO PATIENTLY I WATCH THIS TOWN ABNORMAL SOON WILL BE THE NORM ENJOY THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM. Ford starred at the words and then the screen and keypad vanished. The drawings on the wall began to spark and peel themselves from the wall to become three dimensional.
"Ah it's good to see you all back in your weirdness." Said Bill.
The first creature was a being called Pyronica. Pyronica was a pink glowing demon with short pink hair, bangs parted across its face, and several small horns across her skull in between her two other big curved horns. Pyronica had only one eye, just above her wide mouth and thick lips, that hide her buck teeth and fangs. She had a slim humanoid body, and limbs that were made of white flames. Pyronica wore a long pink cape and pink stiletto pumps.
Next was a being called Teeth. Teeth was a demon shaped like a pair of dentures, with large white teeth and elongated pink gums as limbs, with small hands and feet.
Then there was 8 Ball. 8 Ball was olive green, with a lighter chest and stomach, and had a muscular upper body. He had large ears, a prominent underbite and large teeth and fangs. 8 Ball's eyes were magic 8-balls that glowed yellow at the pupils. The demon had cuffs around its right wrist and ankle, with a small segment of broken chain dangling from both of them.
A enormous being named Xanthar came next. Xanthar's body was shaped like a cube with four gorilla-like legs. He had dark grey-purple skin with some darker spots and no head. In its place was a light grey-purple patch with some dark grey-purple spots, resembling a loaf of sliced bread. Xanthar had small trees and patches of grass growing out of his back, shoulders and other areas, and he wore a party hat.
The last demon was a being called Paci-Fire. Paci-Fire resembles a demonic dark-grey baby with enormous black horns, a pink bull-like nose, glowing red eyes, a somewhat scrunched face, small dark grey lips and a black devil-like tail. He also had a second face on his torso with light red eyes and red pupils sucking a titular red pacifier on a chain. Paci-Fire also had a gold cross on its massive forehead with a diamond-shaped eye.
Ford stepped back and starred at the free demons in horror. Bill laughed and welcomed his old friends.
"Welcome back to being three dimensional! We're going to have some real fun with this virtual world and then we're going have fun with the real world!"
"Real...world?" Asked Ford in confusion.
It was then that Giffany appeared in a flash of light next to Ford and pulled out a silver baton topped with a pink heart shaped gem.
"You will cause no harm to this world or anyone who lives in it!" Declared Giffany.
"And who are you supposed to be pinky?" Asked Bill.
"I am Giffany. I'm also the guardian and Master Control Program of this system. You are a threat to everyone here and you must be eliminated!" Said Giffany as she pointed the baton at Bill.
"The MCP, well you just saved me the trouble of finding you. I'll make your destruction quick." Said Bill as he floated towards Giffany becoming larger as he got closer.
Giffany just smiled as the gem on the baton glowed and fire a pink heart shaped beam of energy at Bill. The villain just raised a blue triangle energy shield to block the attack, but the beam smashed through it and burned a heart shaped hole in Bill's body! Bill let out a scream of shock as the veins in his eye bulged as he stared at the hole in his body. The other demons starred at Giffany in shock. Ford decided to make a run for it, but Giffany grabbed his arm and stopped him.
"It's best that you stay close to me." Said Giffany.
Ford looked at the girl not sure what to say. For some reason, he knew this girl from somewhere. Bill suddenly began to laugh as the hole in his body closed up and healed.
"I'll admit that was impressive. Your certainly tougher then that baby I'll give you that much, but it'll take more then that to stop me." Said Bill.
"I know and I have plans to deal with you. For right now I'll just bury you for a little bit." Said Giffany as she raised her baton up high.
The gem on the baton glowed brightly and then it unleashed a rainbow wave of energy that slammed into Bill and the other demons knocking them all into a wall. The chamber began to shake and chunks of the celling began to fall down. Giffany teleported herself and Ford out of the chamber as the entire mountain collapsed on Bill and the demons. What was left of the mountain was a pile of ruble. The ruble began to shake and out burst Bill and the demons covered in scratches and dust.
"Well she can certainly bring the house down, but soon will be the ones bringing this whole world down. Let's head into town and bring on the weirdness and chaos." Said Bill as he dusted himself off.
Bill took off into the air with the other demons following him.
Giffany and Ford appeared outside the town. Ford stepped away from Giffany and studied her.
"Alright what is going on? Who are you and what did Bill, mean when he said this world was digital?" Demanded Ford.
"This world your in was one you helped design and built. It's a virtual world and I'm the Master Control Program that oversees everything. You may call me Giffany and you created me." Said Giffany.
"But...why don't I remember any of this?" Asked Ford.
"Because that's part of the program. It runs several different scenarios and different ways of life for the people in it. It goes on for a year and then it restarts with a different set of scenarios and the people's memories are reset so they don't recall the previous events. You were allowed to keep your memories for some time, but then we lost contact with the outside world. I managed to connect with a satellite and pull up images of the outside world, only to find it in ruins. I knew that if you found out about this, you would demand to leave the virtual world along with the other people, but that would put you all in danger. My duty is to protect everyone in this world, so I messed with your memory, so you forgot about the real world." Explained Giffany.
"This...is madness! You messed with people's minds and kept them prisoner in this place for several years!" Shouted Ford.
"It is logic and compassion. You would all die in the ruins of the real world if I released you. There may be life out there now, but the actions of some intruders of the outside world have shown me that the beings out there are dangerous. I'm keeping you all here for your protection and because I love every person in this world." Said Giffany.
"Giffany...I know you probably mean well, but if you truly loved the people you would set them and allow them to grow old and live. I'm sure the beings in the real world aren't all dangerous and that they can be reasoned with." Said Ford.
"I'm sorry, but staying here is the best for you. Go find your grandniece and grandnephew, they are with some of the intruders and I will soon send my forces out to deal with them. I must gather my forces and prepare my defenses for Bill and his kind." Said Giffany before she vanished in a flash of pink light.
Ford sighed and headed into town to look for Dipper and Mabel.
Back at the Mystery Shack, Stan had come to and recalled what happened with his brother and Ford. Stan had no idea where Ford and Bill were and then he recalled the Gremlobin was heading towards town. Without a second thought Stan hopped into his car and took off towards the town.
In the arcade, Dipper and Mabel were still hanging out with Soos, Wendy, and the new friends they made. Dipper spotted a teenager wearing a large slightly torn and dirty hoodie. The teenager moved awkwardly with his arms raised up. Dipper knew that the the thing in the hood wasn't really a teenager, but a group of gnomes standing on top of each other with poles and sticks. The disguised gnomes shuffled into the arcade and went to the far side away from Dipper and the others. Dipper was fixing to go after the gnomes and see what they were up to, when he saw Pacifica walk into the arcade. What got Dipper's attention was that Pacifica was wearing a sweater, Mabel had made for her and she had a strange look on her face. It wasn't Pacifica's normal arrogant snippy look, instead she looked a little uncomfortable and it looked like she was trying to gather up some courage for something. Pacifica made her way to the group and they all starred at her not sure what was fixing to happen.
"What do you want?" Asked Nyx with a slight glare.
"I...want to say I'm sorry for insulting you...and for calling your name weird. It was...wrong of me." Said Pacifica.
"Thank you." Said Nyx looking a little shock.
Dipper and Mabel were also shocked by this. As long as they have known Pacifica, she had never shown signs of being remorseful or sorry for any mean spirited thing, she had ever done. Yet now she was apologizing to someone she made fun of not to long ago. Pacifica then turned to Mabel.
"I...want to thank you for the sweater you made me. It's actually very comfortable...and I like the lama on it. It's the first real...gift anyone actually took the time to make me and...I appreciate it."
"Pacifica likes the sweater I made her!" Gasped Mabel in delight.
"Is...something going on Pacifica? You were friendly to us after the ghost incident at your mansion, but then your started acting like a jerk for the past few months. Why the sudden change in heart?" Said Dipper as he studied Pacifica's face.
"A lot...of personal stuff happened after the ghost left the mansion. My father didn't approve of me letting the town's folk into the mansion and he totally didn't approve of how I began to change and treat people, who weren't super rich. Things got bad and I was forced to go back to being the daughter he wanted, but...I couldn't go back to being that person, not after how you helped me and how bad my family legacy really was. I want to be...a better person." Said Pacifica.
Pacifica then began to tell everyone how her father emotionally abused her, threaten to send her to boarding school, and threatened to disown her. The group felt sympathy for Pacifica and Marceline and Lucinda muttered some dark angry curses about how Pacifica's father treated her. At one point Pacifica broke down crying and Dipper went over to her and wrapped his arms around her trying to comfort her.
"Hey...it's going to be ok. We had no idea what was going on, but I'm glad you told us and I promise you will do everything we can to help you. Your dad has no right to treat you like this." Said Dipper.
"Thank...you Dipper. Your...a very honest guy and you care for others. I remember, when you called my family out for their misdeeds and for not lifting the curse, it caused me to really take a deep look at myself and my family. It made me realize how bad my family was...and I thought I was just going to be another link on the bad chain, but then...you told me I didn't have to be like my family...and that I could change. I want to change Dipper. You made me see and realize that and now...your willing to comfort me and help...me. Your really a great guy." Said Pacifica before, she suddenly leaned in and kissed Dipper on the lips!
Everyone gasped. Soos fainted and Mabel starred at her brother and Pacifica in shock. Mabel then pinched herself on the arm hard and yelped in pain.
"Well that proves I'm not dreaming." Said Mabel as she rubbed her arm.
Dipper pulled himself away from Pacifica flushing a little in embarrassment. Pacifica was also flushing slightly.
"Well...that...happened." Said Dipper.
"Yeah...I just want...you to know...that I like you a...lot Dipper." Said Pacifica as she shuffled her feet and looked at the ground.
"Well that was crazy dudes! I see the world's still standing, so this isn't a sign that the world's coming to an end." Said Soos as he stumbled to his feet.
"This is a bit crazy." Admitted Wendy.
"My brother found love!" Cheered Mabel.
Miles away in the mineshaft, Sylvester was hacking the glitch and using a heat beam to melt away the Amber holding the dinosaurs. The evil scientist tapped several numbers onto his computer screen. 1-16-19-10 9-10-19 17-19-4-5 4-6-23-8-8-19-20 15-10-5-15-20-19 4-16-19 8-23-5-4 20-6-19-23-11-5 21-23-10 4-3-6-10 4-9 10-15-17-16-4-11-23-6-19-5 18-23-5-4. Some words then appeared on the screen. WHEN ONE GETS TRAPPED INSIDE THE PAST DREAMS CAN TURN TO NIGHTMARES FAST.
"With just a bit of hacking and coding I can turn this whole world into a chaotic nightmare. Let's see how the people react, when they start remembering everything from the past scenarios and experiences." Said Sylvester as he pressed the enter key.
A wave of blue slight spread through the mineshaft and began to spread over the virtual world towards the town. Soon the carnage would begin.
