Chapter 162 Several Encounters

In the out lands of Ooo a dimensional portal had opened up and out stepped two frightful creatures. The first of a dark rock skinned being with grey hair and red eyes named Onyx. The second was a humanoid dog being with red fur, black horns, dressed in black briefs, a spiked collar, and a black cape with a high collar, who went by the name Diabolo Dog.
"I smell the kid and the spider in this universe." Said Diabolo Dog.
"Well that's good." Said Onyx.
There was a strange beeping sound and Onyx pulled out a red hand mirror and looked at it.
"What is it?" Asked Diabolo Dog.
"The boss wants us to meet with the Lich's forces. Apparently there's someone he wants to meet and talk to. I got the location of the lair." Said Onyx.
The two demons set out for the lair.
At the lair Sylvester, Bill, Klarion, and Teekl were in the lab fixing to wake Alcor up. Sylvester hit some commands into a computer and the liquid in the cloning tank drained and Alcor's feet dropped to the ground. The clone opened his eyes and looked around the room and then at the beings before him.
"Welcome to the world sonny boy!" Said Bill as he floated up to Alcor.
"Um...hello? Who am I and who are all of you?" Asked Alcor.
"You are Alcor and I'm Bill Cipher. I'm also your dad." Said Bill.
The others introduced themselves.
"So you going to dress him or are you going to have this guy wander around in his underwear?" Asked Klarion.
"Don't worry I have just the thing for him." Said Bill as he snapped his fingers.
Alcor let out a startled yelp as a black suit with a top hat, black gloves, and black shoes appeared on him. A black cane appeared in Alcor's left hand.
"There now, your looking sharp. Now let's go show you off to the others." Said Bill as he floated out of the lab.
Alcor just shrugged his shoulders adjusted his hat and walked after Bill. As soon as the demon and clone were gone, Klarion turned to Sylvester.
"I have a little project for you." Said Klarion.
"What kind of project?" Asked Sylvester.
"Well it concerns my apprentice Nyx. I have come to the realization that despite all my power and talents, that I'm not going to be around forever. I want to leave Nyx with a little bit of me just incase something were to ever happen to me." Said Klarion.
"I think I see where your going with this and I have just the solution." Said Sylvester.
"I knew I could count on you." Said Klarion with a twinkle in his eyes.
In another part of the base, Samantha was walking down a hallway to go visit Nyx, when she encountered XANGIS who stood before her and blocked her way.
"Can I help you with something?" Asked Samantha as she eyed the robotic being.
"I'm simply scanning you. I have to say your a very unique being. Your machinery and parts far surpass my former creation William, though he might have upgraded himself recently so I'm not sure how powerful he is now. If it weren't for those few organic bits in you, you would be a perfect robotic creature. You should have those organic bits removed and your consciousness turned into data." Said XANGIS.
"Thanks for the compliment, but I prefer to keep my organic bits thank you very much." Said Samantha.
"Very well, but I hope you change your mind in the future." Said XANGIS as he walked past Samantha.
"What a creep. No wonder William changed sides if that thing created him." Thought Samantha as she continued down the hallway.
The cyborg then encountered Nero, who glared at Samantha as he walked towards her. This ticked Samantha off, so she decided to confront Nero.
"Alright pal, what's your deal with me? You and I have never spoken yet you shoot those nasty glares at me and I want to know why." Said Samantha as she got in Nero's way.
"You want to know. Fine I'll tell you. You serve Dr. AGE, who serves GOLB and I happen to hate both of them. Dr. AGE tortured and experimented on a former comrade of mine and GOLB destroyed my people. I dislike you because your nothing more then a blind follower to both those monsters." Said Nero.
"That's rich coming from a guy who serves the Lich." Said Samantha.
"I only serve him because he will restore my people." Said Nero.
"Well that makes sense. As for me I serve Dr. AGE because he saved my life and adopted me. His my stepfather and the only reason I'm breathing today. I only met GOLB once, but I don't take orders from him, only Dr. AGE." Said Samantha.
"Dr. AGE saved your life. You believe you owe him and his the closest thing you have to a family you have." Said Nero.
"That's right. The doctor is the only family I have left. That...and Nyx." Said Samantha.
"Nyx?" Asked Nero.
"Yeah...she's kind of my adopted sister now. We're both orphans that got raised by someone who wasn't our real family, so we kind of connected to one another, because we can relate to each other." Said Samantha.
"I see. Well I must apologize for my behavior from earlier. I misjudged Samantha. Your not like Dr. AGE or GOLB. I can see that your a good strong willed person just by studying your eyes." Said Nero.
"Well thanks." Said Samantha.
Nero bowed a little and walked off. Samantha went off to Nyx's room.
In the hanger of the lair, Bill was introducing Alcor to Pyro and his team, when one of the hanger doors opened up and in came Onyx and Diabolo Dog. Pyro and his team looked at the newcomers and prepared to attack, but Bill raised his hand and stopped them.
"Relax, I know these guys." Said Bill.
Onyx pulled out the mirror and held it up in front of himself as Him's face appeared in the mirror and grinned at Bill.
"Bill Cipher it's been eons." Said Him.
"Him it's good to see you, you old devil!" Laughed Bill.
"It's good to see you to Bill. I have my boys here doing a little job, but I sent them here to meet with one of the Lich's new minions to discuss a little offer." Said Him.
"Ooo sounds fun! I'll let you go do that, but first allow me to introduce you to my son Alcor." Said Bill as he grabbed the clone and showed him to Bill.
"Looks like you've been busy. I have a daughter, now but so far she's been trouble. I guess she still has a bit of growing up to do and she still needs to learn whose in charge." Said Him.
"A girl huh? You actually got some women to bear you a child? That's awesome! My songs a clone, who was born a few days ago." Said Bill.
"A clone huh? I should have considered doing something like that, would have saved me some trouble." Said Him.
"So how did you do it? How did your daughter come about?" Asked Bill.
"Oh it's quit a story. I'll tell you about it once I'm free to roam the multiverse. Now if you excuse my minions for a bit there's someone I need to speak with." Said Him.
"Of course. It was good talking to you Him and I can't wait to hear your story." Said Bill.
Onyx and Diabolo Dog marched off and headed down a hallway as Him gave them directions. The two demons eventual made there way into a room, where they found Klarion and Teekl.
"Who are you?" Asked Klarion.
"You may call me Him." Said Him from the mirror as Onyx held it up to face Klarion.
"What do you want?" Asked Klarion as he eyed the mirror.
"I've heard a lot about you Klarion. All those dark cruel chaotic deeds you've done over the years. I have to say I'm impressed. You see Klarion I'm looking for someone to be my evil heir to carry on my legacy. Someone who is black hearted and twisted. And that someone is you." Said Him with a grin.
"What exactly do I get out of this being your heir thing?" Asked Klarion.
"Oh an increase in power a new look and a dimension or two to rule over." Said Him.
"I'm liking what I'm hearing." Said Klarion.
"Why don't I give you a little sample." Said Him as the mirror began to glow and a red mist exited the mirror.
The red mist flew towards Klarion and entered his mouth and nose. The witch boy gasped with joy as he felt a great energy course through his body, but then it soon quickly left it. The mist flew back into the mirror and vanished.
"What...was that? I never...felt anything like it." Said Klarion.
"That was a sample of Devil Essence. It's pure evil energy." Explained Him.
"I want it! Give it to me!" Said Klarion with a wild look in his eyes and an insane grin on his face.
"Oh you'll get it, but not just yet. My minions have a little problem to deal with and once that is resolved and the Lich frees me from my dimension, you'll get the Devil Essence." Said Him.
"Fine. I'll wait." Said Klarion with a tiny bit of disappointment in his voice.
"Very good. It was nice meeting you. I have a feeling that you and I are going to get along just fine in the future. Son." Said Him with a grin as his face vanished from the mirror.
Onyx and Diabolo Dog left the room and headed out of the base. Diabolo Dog sniffed the air and looked up at the sky above. The demon then took flight and Onyx followed him. The demons left Earth and flew off into space.
On the planet Olympia the heroes and Spartans were repairing the damage to the Capitol and tending to the wounded. War said goodbye to his daughter and Atalanta before he hopped onto his motorcycle and rode off into the sky. Techmo told the others about his battle with Dr. Cerebral and how he and the other villains had left after Xeexi had shown up and spoke with the evil scientist. This concerned Atalanta and the others, who decided to put the planet's defense forces on high alert.
Above the planet's surface, Dominator's ship floated. Zim was in his lab pacing around angrily as Gir ate a taco. The little green alien was furious about his recent defeat and the fact that Dominator and the other villains didn't tell him about their real agenda in the attack. Zim then came up with idea to prove his usefulness by trying to infiltrate the Spartan's ranks using a disguise. Unfortunately Zim's so called brilliant disguise conceited of some blue contacts that made it look like Zim had human eyes, a black bouffant wig to cover his antenna, and a helmet that resembled a Spartan helmet.
"Where'd master go?" Asked Gir looking confused.
Gir's inability to recognize him, convinced Zim that his disguise was both brilliant and foolproof.
"With this disguise I'll infiltrate the enemy ranks and learn all their troop movements and strategies. Once I do that this planet's defenses will crumble before the might of Zim!" Declared Zim as he got into his ship and headed down to the planet.
"This'll end badly." Groaned the computer.
Zim landed his ship in some woods and got out of it. The alien then headed to one of the villages near the Capitol and located a group of Spartans. Zim confidently approached the Spartans with a big grin on his face.
"Hello my fellow defenders. I am a warrior like all of you. I've just been transferred to this place to help you destroy the hated enemy." Said Zim with a big grin on his face.
The Spartans of course we're not fooled by this and they were fixing to attack and capture Zim, when Skips approached the group.
"What's going on here?" Asked Skips.
One of the Spartans pointed at Zim. Skips narrowed his eyes and marched up to Zim, until he was looking down at him. Zim smiled nervously at Skips.
"Alright spy, we can do this the easy way or we can do this Skips's way." Said Skips as he flexed his pecs.
Zim's eyes went wide and he turned around and ran screaming for his life. The Spartans were fixing to takeoff after the fleeing alien, but Skips stopped them.
"Don't bother. I doubt he has any useful information about the enemy." Said Skips.
The Spartans shrugged and went back to their business.
Zim ran into the woods and stopped to catch his breath. Another plan had been foiled! The disguise had failed and Zim had been forced to retreat again. This was just humiliating. Zim decided to explore the planet a little bit to see if there were any natural resources or creatures he could exploit to help him gain an advantage over the defenders. The alien explored the woods a little, but found nothing useful. Then he found a river and decided to follow it to see where it lead. Zim had no idea what the liquid was, but he guessed it must be important to the local inhabitants. The alien removed his disguise and tried to come up with a new plan to conquer the planet, when he heard voices up ahead and decided to investigate them.
Lapis and Peridot were further up the river, with their pod. The two gems were relaxing as they tried to figure out their next move. Peridot was messing with a small rectangular shaped device called a tablet. The green gem was taking some notes about the planet, which she realized was the same planet Jasper had attempted to conquer several years ago. This made Peridot nervous since the locals would either attempt to arrest Peridot and Lapis or execute them. So far the gems had not encountered any of the locals in their travels, but sooner or later they would. The pod didn't have the energy to do another hyperdrive jump, so they would just have to use the regular speed to travel through space. However it would be hard to find another planet to land on. Lapis suggested that she could fly up into space and explore the star system, but Peridot didn't want her to leave. So for the moment the two gems were resting as they tried to figure out what to do next. It was then that their peace was disturbed by an uninvited guest. And that guest was Zim.
"Hello inferior beings!" Said Zim as he stood before the pod with a big grin on his face.
"Who are you calling inferior?!" Shouted Peridot as she glared at Zim.
The green gem marched up to Zim and faced him. The two of them were about the same hight.
"I did. I am Invader Zim a member of a superior race that conquers and destroys all! You two are my prisoners now and I'll be taking your ship as well. If you surrender peacefully then I shall spare your lives and simply keep you as my slaves. It would be a honor to serve me!" Said Zim with a big arrogant grin on his face.
"Listen here you insect. I am a highly intelligent being, whose intelligence you can't possible measure. I have created many great inventions for my kind and I refuse to surrender and be a slave to an ignorant egotistic moron like you! You CLOD!" Declared Peridot as she got into Zim's face and then slammed a palm into it!
Zim yelped in pain as he stumbled back. Peridot starred at Zim in confusion for a second, before she charged forward and began to hit Zim several times with her palms forcing the alien to retreat.
"Feel my unbridle rage!" Shouted Peridot as she pursued Zim.
"You go get him, Peridot!" Cheered Lapis as she watched the scene with amusement.
"Aaaaaaa! Quit hitting Zim!" Screamed Zim as he tried to fend off Peridot with his hands with very little luck.
This went on for a couple of minutes, before Zim remembered he had a way to defend himself. The spider legs popped out of Zim's pac and he soon stood over Peridot with an evil grin on his face. Zim swung one of the spider legs and it knocked Peridot to the ground.
"Foolish creature! You stood no chance to the mighty Zim!" Declared Zim.
"How ugly get away from my friend." Said Lapis as she went over to help Peridot up and she glared at Zim.
"Ha! You think you can command me! You pose no threat to my mighty technology!" Declared Zim.
Lapis just glared at Zim and pointed her hand at the river causing a bunch of water to rise up and take the shape of an enormous arm that approached Zim from behind. Zim was laughing and declaring his superiority, when he noticed a dark shadow over him and turned to see the water arm rising up to smash down on him. The alien's eyes went wide as he quickly made his spider limbs leap to the side to avoid the arm. The arm slammed into the ground missing Zim and burst into bits. A. Drop of water landed on Zim's left cheek and at first nothing happen, but then the alien's skin began to smoke and burn causing Zim to scream in pain.
"Aaaaaa! It burns! It burns!" Screamed Zim as he swatted at his cheek.
"Well that's new." Said Lapis as she and Peridot watched Zim.
After a few seconds Zim calmed down and glared at the two gems. Lapis conjured up another water arm to attack Zim, which freaked the alien out a bit. Zim quickly scuttled away from the river and towards the woods.
"Mark my words blue and green females. You have won this little battle, but I'll be back! Zim will be victorious!" Shouted Zim as he fled.
Lapis sprouted two watery wings and took off after Zim. Peridot quickly hopped into the pod and took off after the blue gem. The gems chased Zim for a bit, but he managed to escape them by going into a thicket of trees. Zim made it to his ship and headed back to Dominator's ship to make new plans. Lapis and Peridot decided to return to the river and followed it for a bit. They eventually came across a cave and decided to check it out. Peridot and Lapis hopped out of the pod and went into the cave. As they went deeper into the cave they came across a cavern that had a bunch of things in it. There were backpacks, a makeshift fire pit, a couple of lanterns, and a couple of sleeping bags.
"Looks like a few people have been living here." Said Peridot.
"But where are they now?" Asked Lapis.
It was then that they heard someone walking into the cave. The two gems whirled around and came face to face with a giant black and purple spider carrying a bunch of sticks.
"Aaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Peridot and Lapis as they clutched one another.
"It's going to eat us!" Cried Peridot.
"Oh my! I'm terrible sorry for frightening you." Said the spider as he set the sticks down on the ground.
"Um...that's ok." Said Lapis as she calmed down a bit.
"My name is Jeff and this is my friend Mimi." Said Jeff as he indicated his back.
Peridot and Lapis looked at Jeff's back and noticed a little girl with no hands sitting on the spider's back. The girl hopped off of Jeff's back and went to study the two gems.
"I'm Lapis Lazuli, though you can just call me Lapis and this is my friend Peridot." Said Lapis.
"Nice to meet you. Your the first real people, we've seen for a while." Said Jeff.
"Your not locals?" Asked Peridot.
"No were travelers, who got away from a bad thing and now we're just looking for a place to call home." Said Jeff.
"Us two. We got away from a bad place and now we're just looking for a place to live." Said Lapis.
"For real. Small universe huh? Why don't the two of you join us? We can use the company." Said Jeff.
"Well an increase in numbers would increase our chances of survival incase we encountered any danger on our travels. It's good logic." Said Peridot as she scratched her chin.
"What my friend meant to say, is that we would love to join you." Said Lapis.
"Wonderful!" Cheered Jeff.
So the group sat around the camp together. Lapis decided to entertain Mimi by levitating some water out of the river and making it take on different shapes. Mimi watched the shapeshifting water with awe and wonder. Peridot noticed that Jeff had gone to one side of the camp and was messing with something in a one of the backpacks. The green gem went over to Jeff to see what he was doing and saw that the spider had a screwdriver and two metal silver hands with straps on them.
"What are you doing?" Asked Peridot.
"Well I'm trying to make these hands work. They were designed by an old friend of mine to replace lost hands. I'm want to give them to Mimi, so she can have hands again." Explained Jeff.
"How did she lose her hands?" Asked Peridot.
"It's...a long and tragic story." Said Jeff looking a little sad.
"May...I see those hands? Technology is kind of my thing." Said Peridot.
"Sure, your welcome to take a crack at it." Said Jeff as he handed the hands and screwdriver to Peridot.
Peridot sat on the ground as she began to examine the hands. The green gem stuck the screwdriver into one of the hands and began to screw a few bolts in. Peridot then pulled out some other tools from the backpack and began to work on the hands. After a few minutes the fingers on the hands began to twitch.
"You got them to work!" Said Jeff excitedly.
"I did. I have to say whoever made these things knew what they were doing. There were a few wires that needed to be connected and rerouted, but now everything is in working order." Said Peridot.
"Well thank you Peridot. Mimi is going to love this." Said Jeff.
"Your welcome." Said Peridot.
"You know what I think, you should be the one who give these to Mimi." Said Jeff.
"Why me?" Asked Peridot.
"Well your the one, who finally got the hands to work, that makes them your gift to Mimi." Explained Jeff.
"Alright I guess I'll do it." Said Peridot as she took the hands and began to walk over to Mimi, with Jeff following right behind her.
"Hey Mimi, Peridot has something she wants to give you." Said Jeff.
"Um...yes. These are some advanced robotic hands that we can strap onto you." Said Peridot as she stepped forward and presented the hands.
Mimi studied them curiously and held up her arms for Peridot to strap the hands to her nubs. Peridot strapped the hands on and Mimi looked at them.
"Now just think of something you want your hands to do and they'll do it." Explained Peridot.
Mimi flexed the fingers a couple of times and then she clenched them into fist and then she unclenched them. The girl starred at the hands and then at Peridot. Mimi threw her arms around Peridot and hugged her.
"Thank you." Said Mimi.
Peridot was a little startled by the hug, but then she returned it and smiled.
"Your welcome."
A few hours later it was dark and Jeff and Mimi had retired for the night. Peridot and Lapis didn't require sleep, so they looked at the sleeping forms of their new friends and smiled. Both groups were runaways, who had joined together to keep each other company and now had a small sense of belonging with one another. It was a happy moment for the little group.
