Chapter 170 Christmas Part 1

(Author's Note: Hello folks and Merry Christmas. This chapter will be the first part of my Christmas Special. I'm going to combine elements from the Christmas Specials of Invader Zim, Regular Show, Spongebob, and Kids Next Door. Hope you enjoy.)
It had been a few days since the explorers visited Wizard City. The explorers were happy with the magical items they got and a great sense of joy seemed to be blanketing Ooo. Simon pulled out a calendar and examined it. Though the holidays of the old Earth had been forgotten after the war the emotions associated with them lingered and affected the people of Ooo in someway or another. Simon saw what day was coming up and a great big smile appeared on his face as he showed Betty the date. Betty smiled at the date. Christmas was coming up and it would be the first Christmas for the explorers in a really long time. The two icy monarchs made some calls to Marceline telling her to come to the palace with Lucinda, Henry, and Lance to help set up Christmas decorations. The little group showed up and helped Simon and Betty set up decorations for the upcoming holiday. The decorations were set up at night, while the explorers were sleeping. When the explorers woke up the next morning along with Eria, Weiss, and Patience and they were surprised to see a fully decorated Christmas tree and other various Christmas decorations around the living room. Betty walked up to the explorers with a big tray full of mugs filled with hot chocolate.
"Good morning everyone and happy day before Christmas." Said Betty with a smile.
"I can't believe that Christmas is coming up." Said Ford as he took a mug and sipped from it.
"Man...our first Christmas in over a...thousand years. That's something." Said Ford.
"Our last Christmas was with mom and dad." Said Mabel looking a little sad.
"Yeah...I remember. But we shouldn't be sad...mom and dad would want us to be happy for their sake and we still have each other and all these new friends who went through the trouble to set this all up. It'll be our first Christmas in Ooo." Said Dipper as he put a comforting hand on Mabel's shoulder and smiled.
"Your right bro. Thanks." Said Mabel as she gave her brother a hug.
"So does the rest of Ooo celebrate Christmas?" Asked Soos.
"Not exactly. No one in Ooo knows about Christmas, since all the people and civilizations came into being years after the war. However the sense of goodwill towards others and joy are incredibly strong in Ooo during this month." Said Simon.
"Whys that?" Asked Wendy.
"Perhaps the people have a deep primal memory of joy and goodwill associated with this month, or maybe there's a magical entity that spreads joy and goodwill during this month." Said Simon.
"Wait are we talking about something like Santa?" Asked Mabel with her eyes wide and a big smile on her face.
"In a matter of speaking, yes. There always feels like a magical force is spreading joy and goodwill and if that force was being controlled by someone then that someone would be jolly old Santa Claus." Said Simon.
"You...ever see him?" Asked Dipper asked curiously.
"No, but I feel a magical joyful presence every night on Christmas." Said Simon.
"Mommy what's Christmas and who is Santa?" Asked Eria as she looked at her mother.
"I'm also curious about this Christmas thing. I have this strange memory from it that I guess I get from the DNA I was created from, but I don't fully understand it." Said Weiss.
"Alright I'll tell what Christmas is and what it's all about." Said Betty as she sat the tray on a table.
The Ice Queen picked her daughter up and sat in a chair, with the little girl on her lap and began to explain what Christmas was to her and Weiss.
At the secret lair, Samantha had looked at a calendar and saw what day was coming up. Samantha went to her little ship and grabbed a small box from it. Inside the box was a tiny Christmas tree with a tiny star and ornaments. The cyborg went about setting the tiny tree on a table, when Nyx and Ying came in. Nyx studied the tree curiously.
"What's that?"
"It's a Christmas tree." Explained Samantha.
"What's...a Christmas?" Asked Nyx.
"Well it's an old holiday Earth used to have where people spent time with each other and they sometimes gave gifts to each other." Explained Samantha.
"So what's the tree for?" Asked Nyx.
"It's one of the decorations people set up to help spread cheer." Explained Samantha.
Alcor happened to be walking past the room and saw the Christmas tree and stopped to stare at it. The clone's mind began to receive memories from Dipper's DNA about Christmas and a feeling of glee went through him.
"Is that a Christmas...tree?" Asked Alcor.
"It is. But how do you know that?" Said Samantha.
"I think I know that from Dipper's DNA." Said Alcor.
"So what do we do to celebrate Christmas?" Asked Nyx.
"Well usually you throw a little holiday party." Said Samantha.
"A splendid idea. Will throw a party in the hanger. I'm going to go see about inviting some of the others to join us. You two go about setting the party stuff out." Said Alcor as he walked off.
"Well it looks like we're throwing a party." Said Samantha.
"You got the knowledge and I got the magic. I'm sure between the two of us, we can set up a good Christmas party." Said Nyx.
"Let's get to it then." Said Samantha.
The cyborg, the witch, and the raven headed out to the hanger to begin setting stuff up.
In another part of the base, the Beast lurked and brooded in the shadows of his room. The Beast hated this time of the year, since the world was full of hope and joy. It made the ancient evil sick and he despised all the positive emotion.
"Bah humbug." Grumbled Beast.
"Seems like someone in a really sour mood." Said Bill as he entered Beast's room.
"You know how I feel about this time of the year." Said Beast.
"Yeah I get you. So how about we do something about the mood? Spread some chaos, madness, and despair." Said Bill.
"And how do we go about that?" Asked Beast.
"We go right to the source of the joy giver. I convinced Sylvester and Klarion to join us on our little escapade and they already used their science and magic to locate the source." Said Bill.
"I'm liking the sound of this more and more." Said Beast.
"Come along my gloomy friend let's head to the lab. There's work to be done." Said Bill.
The two evil beings made their way to the lab where they found Sylvester, Klarion, Teekl, Scorcher, Blastronaut, Greywhack, Matthew, Ogdoad, Paci-Fire, Hood, 8 Ball, and Teeth. Sylvester was at a lab table carefully putting a green rock in a metal box.
"What's that?" Asked Bill.
"It's an element I created that makes people act like jerks if they consume a tiny bit of it. I call it Jerktonium." Said Sylvester.
"What better way to deal with joy then to hit it with something that turns it into a jerk. I love it!" Laugh Klarion.
"The source of the joy seems to be coming from the North Pole." Said Sylvester.
"The North Pole. It appears that old Saint Nick is behind this wide spread of joy." Said Klarion.
"Well we're going to change that." Said Bill.
"I'm dreaming of a dark Christmas." Said Beast.
The villains headed towards Sylvester's private hanger and took off towards the North Pole.
Lightyears away from Earth, above the planet Olympia, Dominator's ship was undergoing repairs and some upgrades. Dominator had her tooth placed back in to her mouth and was going about scheming. Zim and Jasper had returned a few hours after their botched mission. Jasper returned to the Shard, while Dominator put Zim to work repairing Black Cube. The evil cube had been blasted to bits by Phoebe's escape and Dominator decided to put Zim to work putting it back together again. Zim and Gir spent several hours locating the Black Cube's shards and then using a scanner they glued and taped the Black Cube back together again. The Black Cube was a lighter shade of black and covered with cracks, but it seemed to be back to it's old self. The Black Cube floated off and Zim went about planning his next big plan to prove how dangerous he was. The alien grabbed some blueprints for the Megadoomer and the D.A.T.E.R.V and he began to make plans to combine the machines into one.
On planet Olympia, Jeff was in an incredibly good mood and he had made scarfs and sweaters for Mimi, Lapis, and Peridot. Jeff also looked at his old Earth calendar and saw what day it was, which filled him up with more joy as he gave his friends gifts and wished them a Merry Christmas.
At the Capitol, Ling and Gearga saw what the date was fixing to be so they went about planning a Christmas party for the heroes and defenders. Ling knew about Christmas from his parents, who had learned about it from their parents and so on. Gearga knew about Christmas because she had been around on Earth before the war had happened. Ling and Gearga wanted to throw a big party and spread a little joy to the planet.
Back on Earth, there was the North Pole, however what very few people knew was that their was a magical dimensional rift within the North Pole that lead to a universe where Santa and his helpers lived. The dimension was a home for many magical and wintery beings, who were mostly peaceful beings. However there were some beings that weren't so peaceful. In the Southside of the dimension there was a large ugly grey building surrounded by an electric fence covered in barbwire. A bunch of humanoid people wearing parkas and ski masks patrolled the fence carrying laser guns. The building that the people were guarding was the lair of an evil elf named Quillgin, who had an evil plan for Christmas.
Quillgin hadn't always been evil, in fact he had once been Santa's top helper and lead toy designer. The elf had loved Christmas and spreading joy as much as Santa and he spent his time using his skills trying to make Christmas perfect. Then one day Quillgin created something astonishing. Quillgin had created a magical box that had the ability to give anyone whoever opened what their heart desired most. It was brilliant, but unfortunately Quillgin had used a dark magical element to create the box and that dark element had the power to corrupt people with greed and selfishness. Santa saw what danger the box presented and a mass production of it would destroy the foundation and the true meaning of Christmas and he ordered the box to be destroyed. However Quillgin's mind and personality had been affected by the box and he believed that Santa was jealous of his creation and accused his boss of being a Scrooge, before escaping with the box to plan, his revenge. For twenty years Quillgin launched scheme after scheme to takedown Santa and mass produce the box, but every time he was thwarted by Santa's elite elf team the Elfa Strike Squad.
Inside the building Quillgin sat at a desk with the box sitting in front of him and a small stuffed doll of Santa next to it. Quillgin was tall with pointy ears and brown hair. The elf wore a black parka, pants, boots, and a beret. Quillgin picked up the Santa doll and studied it. The doll had come from the box a few hours ago and it's presence confused Quillgin a bit, until he realized the doll was a representation of what he wanted now. Quillgin wanted to become Santa and run Christmas.
"I'm meant for big things. This year I'm going to attack Santa's workshop and I'm going to become Santa. I will make Christmas perfect!" Vowed Quillgin.
Little did Quillgin know was that his base was fixing to be attacked by the Elfa Strike Squad. The members of the squad were outside the base watching the guards patrol it. The squad consisted of four members, each of who had unique powers. There was a very large elf with red eyes and a red Santa hat named Coniferous, who had super strength and the ability to cover himself in green pine needle. Next was a strange elf, who appeared to have a wooden head that resembled a nutcracker, who ironically dressed like a nutcracker and went by the name Nutcracker. Nutcracker had the ability to teleport short distances and had a powerful bite. Then there was the only female of the group Snow Angel. Snow Angle had a dark skin tone, pupil-less eyes, and white hair. She dressed in a red princess like dress and skirt, with a fluffy pink collar and sleeves and had two wings made out of snow sticking out of her back giving her, her name. Snow Angel had the ability to manipulate and control snow. Lastly there was the leader of the squad Wintergreen. Wintergreen was a short muscular elf who dressed in a red and green outfit complete with a mask that had two pointed ears with bells at the end. He had a super hard skeleton made out of a super nearly indestructible super candy called peppermintium, which gave him a super hard body and the ability to produce claws that resembled candy canes out of his wrist. Wintergreen also had a keen sense of smell and a healing factor.
"Finally found where Quillgin been hiding all these years." Said Snow Angel.
"It's about time. Usually we have to wait for him and his misfit minions to show up and attack the workshop, but now it's time we return the favor." Coniferous.
"Time to deck their halls. Snow Angel we need some cover." Said Wintergreen as he unsheathed his candy cane claws.
Snow Angel raised her hands and it began to snow hard blinding all the guards around the base. The Elfa Strike Squad moved out to attack the base. The first few guards were pelted by super hard snowballs thrown by Snow Angel that knocked them to the ground in a dazed heap. Nutcracker teleported behind a pair of guards and knocked one with a blow to the back of the head. The other guard turned to face Nutcracker and point his blaster at him, but the wooden headed elf chomped down on the end of the barrel crushing it with his strong bite. The guard dropped his gun and ran in the direction of the base, until he crashed into something green and piney and stumbled back.
"What the? Where this tree come from. Wait...a minute there wasn't a tree here before." Said the guard as he looked up to see the face of Coniferous.
Coniferous gave the guard a small smile before he punched the guard in the face and knocked him out. The big elf then marched out to deal with some more guards. Wintergreen was as quit as a silent night as he crept up on the unsuspecting guards and took them down. The dangerous elf made his way to the base and used his claws to scale the building. Wintergreen sniffed the air and a growl escaped his lips.
"Head up everyone I think the big boys are coming out to play." Said Wintergreen into a communicator in his mask as he continued to make his way up the base.
Quillgin knew something was up, when the blinding snow began to pour down around his base. The evil elf tried to get in contact with the guards outside, but all he got was static. This could only mean that Elfa Strike Squad had found his base and we're now coming to take him down, well Quillgin wasn't going to go down easy. He alert his elite forces the Elf Brotherhood of Naughtiness and sent them out to attack. The members of the team conceited of a giant fat hairy elf that seemed to be part abominable snowman named Snow Blob, who was super strong and was nearly immovable, a short elf who seemed to be part mountain goat, who went by the name Goat and had the agility of a mountain goat, a red haired female elf that went by the name Scarlet Sugar who had the power to alert reality a little and fire red sugar blast of energy, and lastly there was Snow Leopard a wild elf with a healing factor and the wild animal instincts of a snow leopard.
"The parties just getting started." Said Quillgin with an evil smirk.
Snow Angel, Coniferous, and Nutcracker had just finished the last of the guards and we're fixing to enter the base, when the doors were thrown open and out came Snow Blob, Goat, and Scarlet Sugar. Snow Blob and Goat looked like a fat yeti and a satyr, while Scarlet Sugar looked like a normal elf that dressed in a fancy red coat.
"Well look who showed up to ruin our Christmas fun!" Bellowed Snow Blob.
"Your reign of ill will to Christmas is over." Said Snow Angel.
"Surrender or we will administrate the seasons beatings!" Declared Coniferous.
"Oh there will be no surrender!" Said Scarlet Sugar as she fired a blast of red sugar forcing the Elfa Strike Squad members to jump away.
The evil team then charged forward to attack. Goat charged at Nutcracker and attempted to hit him with his horns, but the wooden headed elf teleported out of the way and appeared a couple of feet away. The evil elf let out a enraged snarl and lunged at Nutcracker who sidestepped him and tripped the villain causing him to crash to the ground face first. Nutcracker then jumped onto Goat's back and started to bite his head. Goat yelped in pain and shook Nutcracker off.
"Your going to pay for that!" Yelled Goat.
"Then come get me goat boy!" Taunted Nutcracker.
Goat let out an angry roar as he charged at Nutcracker, only to have him teleport away and for Goat to crash into one of the walls of the base. The villain hit the wall with a tremendous crash and fell to the ground in a dazed heap.
"That guy has a huge temper problem." Said Nutcracker as he looked down at the unconscious villain.
Snow Angel found herself facing off against Scarlet Sugar. The good elf was flying around dodging blast of red sugar energy hurled from Scarlet Sugar. The evil red haired evil cackled evilly as she conjured up a red wall of magical sugar in front of Snow Angel and cornered her.
"I have you now!" Declared Scarlet Sugar as she prepared to blast Snow Angel.
"I'm afraid not. You might want to look up." Said Snow Angel.
Scarlet Sugar glanced up to see a massive mound of snow hovering over her head. The evil elf's eyes went wide as Snow Angel threw her hands down and the snow crashed down on her burying her in snow.
"Well that's done." Said Snow Angel as she dusted herself off.
Coniferous faced off against Snow Blob. The pine elf dodged a punch from the hairy giant and delivered a few punches into his big gut, but they seemed to have no affect on Snow Blob. Snow Blob just laughed as he punched Coniferous a few yards back and prepared to charge at him, when Nutcracker suddenly teleported and appeared on Snow Blob's shoulders. The wooden headed elf laughed as he slapped his hands onto the side of Snow Blob's head hitting his ears making him shout in pain.
"Get off of me!" Bellowed Snow Blob as he threw a punch at Nutcracker.
Nutcracker quickly teleported away and Snow Blob punched his face instead! Snow Blob stumbled back a bit dazed and then Snow Angel hit him with a huge mound of snow that buried him.
"Is he down?" Asked Nutcracker.
The mound of snow that covered Snow Blob suddenly exploded and Snow Blob stood before the squad ready to continue to fight.
"Well this is going to take a while." Said Snow Angel as she and the others charged in to continue the fight.
At the base, Wintergreen had reached the top of the roof and was fixing to pull himself up, when a muscular arm clad in white with black spots suddenly reached down and yanked Wintergreen onto the roof. Wintergreen found himself starring into the face of Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard was a tall elf with white hair and fangs, who dressed in a skintight white jumpsuit with black spots.
"Happy holidays runt!" Laughed Snow Leopard as he threw Wintergreen to the other side of the roof.
Wintergreen landed with a roll and quickly shot to his feet to face his advisory.
"Merry Christmas to you to bub." Said Wintergreen.
"I'm going to dice you like a Christmas turkey and put what's left of you in a stocking!" Declared Snow Leopard as he charged at Wintergreen with his claw like fingernails.
"Oh you can try bub." Said Wintergreen as he charged forward with his candy cane claws.
The two locked claws with each other and they began to push against one another. Wintergreen let out a snarl as he slammed his head into Snow Leopard's face and then followed up with a knee to, his stomach knocking the breath out of him. Snow Leopard stumbled back and Wintergreen leaped at him. The evil elf quickly recovered and dodged to the side. Wintergreen landed on the ground and Snow Leopard tackled him to the ground. The two of them wrestled and rolled on the ground clawing at each other, until Snow Leopard got on top. Snow Leopard picked Wintergreen up and slammed him into the ground hard cracking the ground a little in the process.
"This is where you meet your holiday end! They'll be no sugar plums dancing in your head!" Laughed Snow Leopard as he raised his right arm up and prepared to stab Wintergreen.
Snow Leopard stabbed his arm down at Wintergreen, who quickly rolled out of the way and kicked the villain in the side of the leg causing Snow Leopard to fall onto his knees. Wintergreen sliced his claws across Snow Leopard's chest tearing his uniform and cutting him a little in the process. The heroic elf then slammed his fist into Snow Leopard's face knocking him to the ground.
"The only one going down is you bub! You've been naughty, so it's time for your season beatings!" Declared Wintergreen as he leaped onto Snow Leopard and began to pummel him with punches causing the ground beneath them to crack a bit more.
Wintergreen noticed the cracks and saw that the ground was becoming less stable. The elf grinned as he stabbed both his claws into the ground near a battered Snow Leopard's head making the ground crack some more.
"You and me are going down to see your boos, just like good old Saint Nick!" Yelled Wintergreen as the ground gave in beneath them.
Wintergreen and Snow Leopard fell threw the celling and right into Quillgin's office. Snow Leopard hit the ground first with Wintergreen landing on top of him. Quillgin sat up from his desk and starred at the two beings who had crashed into his office. Wintergreen got to his feet and delivered a quick kick to Snow Leopard's head stunning him, before he turned his attention to Quillgin.
"It's the end of the line for you, you Scrooge. I'm taking you and the box in to Santa and putting a stop to your crazy holiday crimes." Said Wintergreen as he marched towards Quillgin.
"Wintergreen I see that your merry band have dropped in. I see you intend to ruin my plans before I can even launch them." Grumbled Quillgin as he reached for the box and Santa doll.
"It ends today Quillgin. It's over and that horrible thing you created is going to be destroyed." Said Wintergreen.
"This thing is my life's work and I won't let you or Santa destroy it! You all to small minded to see the brilliance of my creation! It'll make Christmas perfect!" Declared Quillgin as he grabbed the box and the doll.
"Not on my watch bub!" Said Wintergreen as he charged forward.
Quillgin quickly reached into the box and pulled out a flash grenade that unleashed a blinding flash of light that blinded Wintergreen. The evil elf then made a run for some stairs and pressed a button on the side that made a metal door slam down behind him. Wintergreen recovered from the flash and began to slice at the door with his claws. Quillgin raced down the stairs and to a elevator that lead to a subterranean garage full of snowmobiles and snowcats. The elf jumped into a snowcat and took off down a tunnel that emptied out a mile away from the base. Quillgin has escaped.
Wintergreen had managed to slice his way through the metal door and raced down the stairs. The heroic elf heard the sounds of fighting outside and rushed out to see the rest of his team fighting Snow Blob. Wintergreen went running over to Coniferous.
"Hey big green, how about a little fast ball special?"
Coniferous grinned as he picked up Wintergreen and hurled him like a missile at Snow Blob. Wintergreen slammed into Snow Blob's face with a loud thunk. Snow Blob staggered back a step with a dizzy look on his face and then he collapsed onto his back with a thud that shook the ground. Wintergreen stumbled to his feet rubbing his sore head and looked at the rest of the defeated villains.
"Well we got all henchmen and the elites, but the big cookie got away." Said Wintergreen.
"I count this mission as a success. Without his minions Quillgin won't pose a threat to us and Santa. Quillgin knows he can't take us on alone." Said Snow Angel.
The Elf Brotherhood of Naughtiness was rounded up and Snow Angel threw what appeared to be a snow globe at the unconscious villains. There was a flash of light and the villains vanished leaving nothing, but the snow globe. Snow Angel picked it up to see that the villains were trapped inside the snow globe. The henchmen were tied up and the Elfa Strike Squad headed back to the workshop where they reported what happened to Santa. Santa was a big and jolly man with a white beard and eyes that twinkled with kindness and joy.
"We located and attacked Quillgin's base Santa. We managed to capture the henchmen and the members of the Elf Brotherhood of Naughtiness, but Quillgin got away with the box." Said Wintergreen.
"You and your team did well Wintergreen. You managed to prevent a attack on the workshop and you captured some evil beings. I have faith that you'll capture Quillgin and the box, but right now you and the others deserve to rest and enjoy yourself. Christmas is almost upon us. Now is the time to rest and enjoy the moment." Said Santa.
"Will do Santa. Will do." Said Wintergreen with a little salute.
Santa smiled and return the salute.
In the North Pole, Bill and the other villains arrived. Sylvester used his tech to detect a dimensional rift and locate it and then Bill and Klarion used their powers to open it up. The villains flew through the rift and entered the dimension.
In another part of the dimension, Quillgin sat outside his snowcat with the box and the Santa doll on his lap. Quillgin clenched his fist in anger as he thought about the miserable turn his life had taken. His base was compromised and all his henchmen had been defeated and captured. Any remote chance of winning and becoming Santa was gone, even with the power of the box, Quillgin knew he stood no chance against Santa and his forces.
"I just wish I had the power to finally win." Said Quillgin as he looked up at the sky.
Little did Quillgin know that his wish was going to come true. On board the villain's ship, Sylvester's instruments were picking up a strange, but powerful dark energy reading coming a few miles away. The villains decided to investigate dark energy and decided to go investigate it.
