Chapter 173 Christmas Part 4

The group of heroes and party guest arrived in the dimension of the North Pole. The team looked at the vast wondrous winter wonderland before them with awe.
"So where do we go next?" Asked Ford looking at Rob.
"Well the trouble is at Santa's workshop, but I don't know where that is exactly." Said Rob.
"Well we're in the North Pole, so I guess we head North." Said Stan.
"I suppose that makes sense." Said Ford.
So the group began to head North and after about ten minutes of walking William suddenly stopped and scanned the area ahead.
"What is it?" Asked Slippy.
"I detect a small number of living beings a few hundred yards ahead of us." Said William.
"Well I guess we better see, who it is, but be on your guard. Whoever were fixing to meet could be an enemy." Said Momo.
William pulled out his sword, as Slippy and Momo pulled out their blasters, Circe and Jake cracked their knuckles, Sprocket's hands glowed with fire, Marceline, Usagi, Lance, Henry, Weiss, Lucinda pulled out their weapons, Hunter Wizard and Huntress Wizard readied their bows Broot pounded his fist, and Simon hands crackled with magic as he motioned for the others to get behind him. Betty held Eria, who clung to her mother, as Wendy pulled out a short ax she carried with her and Pacifica readied her Celestial Spirit Gate Key to summon Aquarius, since it was one of the days she could be summoned. Aquarius had told Pacifica that the key needed to be wet in order to summon her and luckily there was plenty of snow around to do that, plus Henry's water abilities could give Pacifica the water she needed for the summon. Mabel looked slightly nervous and Dipper held her hand to comfort her, Gideon gritted his teeth a little, because he planned to do the same thing to Mabel, but Dipper beat him to it. Rob readied his remote, while Ford, Stan, and Soos kept their arms raised and their eyes peeled. Hunter Wizard and Huntress Wizard forged ahead of the group to see who they were going to encounter. The two stealthy wizards crept through a small forest of tress and then they saw the Elfa Strike Squad ahead. Coniferous was carrying an injured and unconscious Wintergreen, with Nutcracker and Snow Angel right behind him. The elves didn't notice the wizards yet, because they were crouched behind some trees.
"You think these guys are the enemy?" Asked Hunter Wizard.
"I don't think so. By the looks of things they're trying to put some distance, between themselves and something else." Said Huntress Wizard.
It was then that Wintergreen recovered and jumped out of Coniferous arms. The fierce elf began to sniff the air and he looked at the trees Hunter Wizard and Huntress Wizard were hiding behind.
"I can smell you two, so there's no use hiding." Called Wintergreen.
"We come in peace." Called Hunter Wizard as he and Huntress Wizard stepped out from behind the trees.
"Who are you?" Asked Snow Angel.
"We are wizards, who heard that Christmas was in danger, so we came to help." Said Huntress Wizard.
"And why should we believe you? For all we know you can be in cahoots with those guys that took over the workshop." Said Wintergreen.
"Oh I assure you, we're not with them and that we're here to help." Said Simon as he and the others arrived on the scene.
The Elfa Strike Squad studied the newcomers. Finally Snow Angel spoke to Wintergreen.
"I think these people are here to help us Wintergreen. I see children amongst their group, who have awe and wonder in their eyes. No dark magic or evil can mimic that innocence."
"Your right. Alright we believe your here to help, so will fill you in on what's going on." Said Wintergreen.
So the Elfa Strike Squad began to fill the heroes on what had happened at the workshop. The group were horrified by the hostile takeover. Wintergreen then told the group about how, he stabbed Quillgin, but the suit protected the evil elf from the attack. William notice that there was still some of the red jello liquid on Wintergreen's gloves and he asked to scan it. Wintergreen held up his hands and William scanned them.
"Well what do your scanners say?" Asked Slippy.
"According to my scanners this liquid appears to be some advance technology that consist of several million tiny hard drive filled with Santa data. This data technology also seems to adaptive and has the ability to absorb energy." Said William.
"If your scanners can pick that up can you tell us what was used to infect the elves? I have one of the infected cookies in my pocket." Said Nutcracker as he pulled out a cookie and held it up for William to scan.
"According to my scanner there is an extra ingredient in that cookie. The ingredient is relatively harmless, unless eaten. Eating this element will have a negative affect on whoever eats it and it will turn them into a jerk." Said William.
"So how do cure the elves that ate this stuff?" Asked Coniferous.
"It would take something kind and joyful to do that." Said William.
"Like a Christmas song?" Asked Mabel excitedly.
"That could work." Said Snow Angel.
"Well lucky for you guys, you got two experienced musicians who have a talent for wiring songs." Said Marceline.
"Ooo can I help?" Asked Mabel.
"Sure. The more the merrier." Said Lucinda.
"Alright we got a way to stop the elves, now we need to head to the workshop and save Christmas." Said Wintergreen.
The others nodded and they headed North. Twenty minutes later the group was going through some snowy plains, when they heard some tiny voices calling for help. Wintergreen used his super hearing to follow the sound to a tiny mound of snow. The elf bent down whipping the snow away and found the snow globe that contained the Elf Brotherhood of Naughtiness.
"It's you misfits. I thought your boss would have freed you by now." Said Wintergreen.
"We thought so to, but he betrayed us." Said Goat.
"Quillgin said we failed him to many times and he was done with us, so he tossed us away." Said Scarlet Sugar.
"Please free us." Said Snow Blob.
"We no longer have a beef with you. Quillgin is the one we want now and we can help you take him down." Said Snow Leopard.
"What do you guys think?" Asked Wintergreen as he looked at his team.
"Well this would be a good chance to rehabilitate them and Christmas is also a time for forgiveness." Said Snow Angel.
"Alright then, will let you free, but you have to do what we say and no more being naughty. If you try to betray us I'll personal deck you halls." Said Wintergreen.
The four elves nodded and Wintergreen pushed a button on the bottom of the snow globe. There was a flash of light and the elves were free. The two teams of elves starred intensely at one another and then Snow Leopard offered Wintergreen, his hand. Wintergreen shook it and the tension vanished. With their new allies the group moved on to save Christmas.
At the workshop Quillgin had began to reconfigure the machines to help start producing his boxes to give to the universe. Beast and Robot Santa dragged Santa outside the workshop to be destroyed. The rest of the villains and jerk elves followed to watch the destruction of Santa. Robot Santa placed Santa on the ground and then walked a few hundred feet away from him, so he could point his rocket launcher at him.
"Hohoho! Soon Santa will be burning!" Laughed Robot Santa as he prepared to fire his rocket.
But before, he could fire a big snowball slammed into Robot Santa's face making him stumble back and drop the rocket launcher.
"Who did that?" Demanded Beast.
"That would be us bub! Now release Santa or you'll getting the beating of the New Year!" Declared Wintergreen as he and the other heroes arrived on the scene.
"Oh you annoying jerks again?! Elves destroy them!" Shouted Bill.
The jerky elves charged at the heroes. Pacifica saw that Marceline, Lucinda, and Mabel were writing the last few lines of their song and needed more time. The blond girl ran over to Henry and asked him to create a sphere of water for her. Henry did as he was told and Pacifica stabbed her key into the water.
"On the gate of the Water Bearer Aquarius!" Shouted Pacifica.
There was a flash of light and Aquarius appeared hovering above the ground and holding an urn in her hands. The others heroes starred at the mermaid in awe.
"That's incredible Pacifica!" Said Dipper.
"Whose that boy?" Asked Aquarius.
"His my boyfriend." Said Pacifica.
"Boyfriend huh? Well maybe there's some hope for you after all." Said Aquarius with a smirk.
"Um...anyhow, would please deal with those elves. I don't want them to get hurt, so can can you just knock them away from us." Said Pacifica.
"Very well, I'm in a good mood, so I'll just drench them for you." Said Aquarius as she pointed her urn at the charging elves.
A vast wave of water shot out of the urn and headed towards the elves. The elves only had time to let out startled shouts as the wave hit them and knocked them away from the heroes.
"Well that's done, now if you excuse me I have a date with my boyfriend, which you so rudely interrupted girl." Said Aquarius as she vanished in a flash of light.
"Well that was kind of rude, but it worked. Nice one Pacifica." Said Dipper.
"Thanks." Said Pacifica as her cheeks blushed slightly.
"Alright finished the song." Said Mabel
"Time to spread a little Christmas cheer with a little song I call 'Don't Be a Jerk'." Said Marceline.
Marceline and Lucinda began to play their instruments as the elves stumbled to their feet and started to charge. Then the musicians began to sing.

The song hit the elves and stopped them in their tracks. At first nothing happened, but then warm friendly smiles appeared on their faces as the five o'clock shadow and bloodshot eyes vanished from their faces. A look of shock fell on Quillgin and Sylvester's faces.
"How is that possible?! My element should have made those elves jerks for life!" Cried Sylvester.
"It's called Christmas Spirit bub! Now it's time to stuff your stockings and give you a seasons beating!" Declared Wintergreen.
Quillgin then noticed his former minions among the ranks of the heroes.
"You four? I don't know what your doing, but if you help take down the Elfa Strike Squad and these others, then I'll forgive you for your past failures." Said Quillgin.
"No deal." Said Snow Leopard.
"We don't work for you anymore." Said Scarlet Sugar.
"Then you shall be destroyed along with these other fools!" Declared Quillgin.
"Leave these guys to us Quillgin, you head back into the workshop and focus on making more of your boxes." Said Bill.
Quillgin nodded as he ran inside the workshop. Hood made a bunch of copies of himself and then the two sides faced off against each other. The purified elves also joined in on the fight. Elves and Hood cloned collided with one another and went flying. Blastronaut saw Dipper battering a few Hood copies with a big candy cane, he found and prepared to blast him in the back. Gideon saw this and was tempted to let the robot do it, but then he thought if he saved Dipper's life, he would he get on his good side and be a step closer to winning Mabel's affection.
"The things I do for love." Muttered Gideon before he ran at Dipper and tackled him to the ground, as Blastronaut fired.
The laser blast missed and hit a Hood clone instead knocking it down into a heap. Dipper looked at the down clone and then turned, his attention to Gideon.
"Did you just save me?" Asked Dipper looking confused.
"I did! Couldn't have the brother of Mabel getting killed on the day before Christmas, now could I?" Said Gideon.
"Well thanks Gideon." Said Dipper.
"Oh it was nothing." Said Gideon.
Blastronaut was preparing to shoot at them with his blaster hand, when Wendy came charging in and sliced the hand off with an ax swing! The robot staggered back with it's arm sparking and tried to fire it's shoulder blasters, but Lucinda appeared behind him and sent the mechanical villain flying with a hammer swing. Lucinda gave Wendy a thumbs up before racing back in to rejoin the battle. Wintergreen leaped into Teeth's mouth and the demon chomped down on him seemly eating the elf, then all the teeth in Teeth's mouth exploded outwards and Wintergreen came leaping out. Teeth feel onto his back groaning. Greywhack tried to stab Wintergreen in the back, but Snow Leopard slammed into him knocking him to the ground, before picking him up and tossing him away. Matthew fired a large hand at Snow Blob, who took the blow head on and made the hand shatter to bits. Coniferous then yanked a tree out of the ground and smashed it onto Matthew sending him crashing to the ground. Ogdoad shot several shadowy balls of energy at Sprocket, who dodged about and flung fireballs back at the shadowy villain forcing him to retreat. 8 Ball was getting his head bitten by Nutcracker and receiving headbutts from Goat. Scorcher and Paci-Fire faced off against Simon, who stood in front of Betty and Eria. The two fiery villains fired streams of fire at Simon, who countered with a blast of freezing energy. The two attacks pressed against one another and it seemed like Scorcher and Paci-Fire were going to win, but Simon just gritted his teeth and put more energy into his attack, which slammed through the villains's flames and froze them.
"You did it daddy!" Cheered Eria.
Simon just smiled.
Sylvester saw that things weren't going to well for his comrades, so he tried to sneak away, but ended up running into Usagi and Circe.
"Oh...um...hi." Said Sylvester.
"Merry Christmas doc." Said Circe with a mischievous smile.
"It's time we repay the gift we owe you." Said Usagi.
"And...um what gift is that?" Asked Sylvester nervously.
"Pain." Said Usagi as he touched Sylvester and shocked him with an electrical shock.
Sylvester yelped as his hair puffed up from the shock. Usagi let go and Circe unleashed one of her sonic screams that cracked Sylvester's googles and sent him flying through the air and crashing into a pile of snow.
"That felt good." Said Circe.
Usagi nodded and the two of them went back to join the battle.
Beast saw that the battle was going to draw to an end soon. Robot Santa was two busy firing rockets at the heroes and elves and laughing like crazy. He was so consumed with the violent conflict that he forgot about destroying Santa. Well if Robot Santa wasn't going to kill Santa, then the Beast would do the deed. A tiny feeling of evil joy went through Beast as he thought about killing the jolly man, however before he could even reach out to grab Santa, a large wooden hand grabbed Beast, by his fur cloak and picked him up. Beast found himself starring into the face of Broot.
"I am Broot!" Yelled Broot as he tossed Beast through the air and away from Santa.
The big tree creature then went over to Santa and went to help Santa. Broot yanked off the Jerktonium tossing it away, before he broke the chains that held Santa.
"Thank...you." Said Santa as color began to return to his face.
"I am Broot." Said Broot.
Most of the heroes found themselves facing a giant size Bill. Marceline and Lucinda flew around Bill hitting him with their weapons, as Momo and Slippy blasted him with lasers. Hunter Wizard and Huntress Wizard fired magical arrows. Snow Angel slammed a giant mound of snow into Bill, as Scarlet Sugar fired red sugar blast at him, Weiss flung some of her ice feathers at the villain, and William flung energy waves at him with his sword, but no matter what they did nothing seemed to keep Bill down for long. Bill just automatically healed himself and laughed.
"None of you losers can hurt me! I'm unstoppable!"
More of the heroes went to join in on the fight. Robot Santa noticed that Dipper, Mabel, Gideon, Pacifica, Betty, and Eria were standing together and aimed his rocket launcher at them.
"Say goodnight kiddies! I don't know you, but your all probably naughty, so I'm going to blow you up!" Laughed Robot Santa as he pulled the trigger.
Santa, who was almost fully recovered saw what was going to happen and with the great burst of speed he rushed in front of the group and raised his hand up at the rocket. There was a flash of red light as the rocket touched Santa's hand and the rocket turned into a bunch of peppermint candies that showered the area.
"What the?!" Cried a shocked Robot Santa.
"You messed up Robot Santa, you tried to harm innocent children on Christmas Eve and for that you will be greatly punished!" Declared Santa.
"Bring it on! I have plenty of rockets for everyone!" Laughed Robot Santa as he raised his rocket launcher.
Santa pointed, his hand at the rocket launcher and it turned into a big candy cane. Robot Santa starred at his now useless weapon in shock. Santa strolled towards Robot Santa and the evil robot tossed the candy cane to the side and threw a punch at Santa. The jolly big man sidestepped the punch and simply shook his head at Robot Santa.
"Your just a glutton asking for punishment."
Robot Santa let out a furious roar as he threw several more punches at Santa, who just easily dodged them all and then he tripped Robot Santa. The evil robot stumbled to his feet and threw a powerful punch at Santa's face, but he caught it with ease. Robot Santa threw a punch with his other hand, but Santa caught that as well with his free hand. The evil Santa struggled to break free, but he couldn't escape Santa's grasp.
"Just...how is this possible?" Said Robot Santa.
"It's Christmas Eve a time of magic and miracles. Now it's time to finish this little dance of ours." Said Santa as he released Robot Santa's arms making hi stagger back.
Santa got behind Robot Santa and grabbed him from behind. The robot struggled, but didn't break free and then Santa leaped high into the sky carrying Robot Santa with him.
"Where are you taking me?!" Shouted Robot Santa.
"Why down the chimney." Said Santa as he chunked Robot Santa at the one of the chimney's on the workshop.
Robot Santa went down the chimney and into the workshop. Inside the workshop, Quillgin was in front of one of the large machines, which had his box in it. Quillgin was fixing to activate the machine and produce more boxes, when Robot Santa came crashing down the chimney and crashed into the inner workings of the machine. Robot Santa cracked open releasing oil and other fuel as his arms and legs got caught up in the gears creating sparks. The Sparks hit the fuel creating a tremendous explosion of heat that destroyed the machine and the box. Quillgin was thrown onto, his back by the explosion and Robot Santa's head landed on the ground next to him. The elf stumbled to his feet and starred at the destroyed remains of the machine. It was over. Quillgin's creation was destroyed and he felt absolutely furious.
"If I can't spread Christmas joy my way, then no one can spread Christmas joy!" Roared Quillgin as his face was covered by the suit and the suit took on an evil expression that mirrored Santa's jolly face.
Outside the factory, Wintergreen and Snow Leopard had fought their way through the Hood clones and located the real Hood. Wintergreen knocked Hood down to the ground with a swing of his claws. Klarion, then appeared and zapped the two elves with red lighting knocking them to the ground. Snow Blob, Coniferous, Goat, and Nutcracker saw their teammates get knocked down and went to go help them, only to get knocked to the ground by Klarion's chaotic magic.
"There's nothing you can do to stop us!" Laughed Klarion.
"Meow!" Hissed Teekl in alarm as she stood nearby.
Before Klarion could ask what Teekl was worried about, Santa appeared and grabbed Klarion by the ear. Klarion cried out in pain and his magic lighting stopped.
"You've been a very naughty boy Klarion and you and your evil friends need to be punished." Said Santa.
"Let me go you old fart!" Cried Klarion as he struggled to free his ear.
Santa waved his hand and all the villains except for Bill were gathered before him. The jolly man then released and pushed him Klarion towards the villains.
"I think it's time for Twelve Days of Christmas. Would you do the honors Wintergreen?" Said Santa.
"With honor Santa." Said Wintergreen as he pulled out a tiny green remote with a single red button on it and pushed it.
A bunch of dark clouds appeared above the villains's heads. The villains starred up at the clouds not sure what was going to happen. Then a series of strange things fell from the sky and landed on the villains. 12 drummers drumming, 11 pipers piping, 10 lords a leaping, 9 ladies dancing, 8 maids a milking, 7 swans a swimming in a small pool, 6 geese a laying, 5 bags of golden onion rings, 4 calling birds in telephone booths, 3 French horns, 2 turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree fell on the villains and crushed them! The villains groaned in pain underneath the pile of objects.
"Well that made my holiday." Said Wintergreen.
"That was awesome!" Said Soos.
"I'll say that was quit a sight, but we still have Bill to worry about." Said Ford.
"I will DESTROY YOU SANTA!" Roared Quillgin in a monstrous version of his voice as he stormed out of the factory.
Everyone looked at Quillgin as he pointed his hands in the air and a bunch of sparking pink, red, and yellow energy appeared and began to get sucked into, his body. The Santa suit began to grow and become monstrous. It's legs were replaced with six spidery legs made out of candy cane and it's hands became candy cane claws.
"What's happening!?" Cried Mabel.
"His turning into a monster!" Cried Pacifica.
"Quillgin is absorbing all the joy energy in the area to make himself stronger." Said Santa.
"As if we didn't have enough problems already." Grumbled Marceline.
"Two giant monsters! I love this holiday! Come on Quillgin will obliterate them together!" Laughed Bill.
The two giant monster prepared to attack.
"How do we stop them?" Asked Dipper.
"By using the joy within everyone's hearts. You just have to believe and think happy thoughts. I'll gather it up and give Quillgin something, his suit can't handle." Said Santa.
With that said all the heroes and explores began to think of joyful and happy thoughts. A faint white light began to glow around everyone and then it went to Santa who formed it into a glowing white ball. Quillgin let out a roar as he charged at Santa, with Bill right behind him.
"Merry Christmas, Quillgin. I got a special gift for you that will hopefully make you see the true meaning of Christmas." Said Santa as he hurled the glowing ball at the rampaging monster.
The ball hit the Santa suit in the chest and phased right through it. The Santa suit stopped and looked at it's chest in confusion. Inside the suit, Quillgin floated in a red sea of liquid, when he saw the ball appeared down below him. At first the ball did nothing and then it began to expand through the suit. Quillgin starred at the expanding white ball in horror and then it touched him and he felt a strange sense of joy and peace.
"SO MUCH JOY! I SEE THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS NOW!" Thought Quillgin as the corruption he got from his box and his anger towards Santa vanish.
White cracks appeared on the Santa suit and then it exploded into a bright white flash of light that blinded everyone especially Bill. The light flashed through the North Pole, magically repairing the workshop and it had a profound affect on Beast, who had just crawled out from under the pile. The shadows that covered Beast's body were gone revealing his body to be made out of what looks like wood, with twisted faces and holes covering him entirety His antlers resemble tree branches and his face was revealed to have a mouth and a nose, but no ears. He had two arms with long-fingered hands. Beast had lost his dark mysterious persona and was freaked out about. He tried to summon his shadows to cover his body, but the joy light seemed to have chased them away for the time being. The other villains starred at Beast not sure what to think of him now.
"Don't look at me!" Cried Beast as he tried to hide his exposed body in his cloak.
Rob then used his remote to put the villains inside Sylvester's ship and close it. Marceline and Lucinda took the opportunity to grab a strand of Christmas lights and tie Bill up, while he was still blind. Santa then pointed a hand at Bill and made four smaller triangles appear on his side making him look like a star. Santa then conjured up a large Christmas tree and placed Bill on top of it.
"Huh?! What's going on?! Who put these corners on me and why am I on a tree?! I'm not a decoration!" Yelled Bill as his sight began to recover.
"You are today. Now it's time for you to leave!" Said Santa as he zapped the tree with Christmas magic.
The tree began to shake and then it flew into the sky like a rocket, with Bill screaming on top of it. Rob used his remote to open up a portal to Ooo and then he turned Sylvester's ship and flew it towards the portal. The ship went through the portal followed a few seconds by the flying Christmas tree and Bill. Rob closed the portal. Santa walked over to where the Santa suit once stood and found Quillgin laying in the snow. Quillgin looked up at Santa sadly.
"You were right, you know. That box of mine was evil and I wasted twenty years of my life ignoring you and trying to mass produce that horrible thing and give it to the children of the universe. I tried to destroy you and everything sacred...that Christmas represents! I'm ashamed of myself! You should throw me into a deep dark cell and throw away the key! There's no forgiveness for what I tried to do!" Cried Quillgin.
Santa looked down at Quillgin and then he offered him, his hand.
"What...?" Said Quillgin looking at the hand in confusion.
"Quillgin I forgive you." Said Santa.
"You what? How can you forgive me?!" Said Quillgin.
"Because you see the error of yours ways and your repenting. Christmas is a time of joy and goodwill. And a part of goodwill is to forgive others and rekindle old friendships. There's still a place for you at my workshop and I want you back as both a helper and as one of my friends." Said Santa.
"I...guess I could go back to my old job." Said Quillgin.
"Quillgin with your mind so sharp and your heart now kind, will you help me spread the gift of Christmas joy and goodwill this year?" Asked Santa.
"Yes." Said Quillgin as he took Santa's hand and he helped him up.
And thus Christmas was saved and an old friendship was repaired.
