Chapter 180 Black and Red 2

Chi, Mimi, and Jeff returned to the rocks outside the palace. Mimi removed her boots and sat on a rock, while Chi set up the pedicure stuff.
"Alright let's get started." Said Chi as she sat down in front of Mimi to begin giving her a pedicure.
In the palace three evil beings were making their way to Him's office. The first was a fat demon with a large rear end named Red Guy, a tall humanoid being wearing an apron and had a grey pyramid for a head, whose name was Pyramid Head, and a tall pale white slender figure with no face named Slender Man. The three evil beings had been watching over Vile Valley and had witnessed Mimi save Chi and fight the snake monster. After Mimi defeated the monster Red Guy and his two companions had gone to check on the monster, only to find it dead. Now the three of them were going to have to report what happened to Him.
(Author's Note: Red Guy is from Cow and Chicken, Pyramid Head is from Silent Hill, and Slender Man is from Slender. All three of these characters are also residence of The Land of Tainted Souls and have briefly appeared in the Grim Tales comic.)
"You know I really wish one of you guys had the ability to speak." Grumbled Red Guy.
Pyramid Head and Slender Man shrugged their shoulders. Red Guy just sighed and knocked on the office door.
"Come in." Said Him's voice.
Red Guy opened the door and he and the others walked into the office. Him was in his office chair with his back facing the trio.
"Hey boss the office is looking good, did you some new wallpaper?" Said Red Guy trying to delay delivering the bad news and keep Him in a good mood.
Tell me what you have to say. I already figure it's bad news since the three of you stink of fear." Said Him as he turned his chair to face the trio.
"Well...sir. We were watching the Vile Valley and we saw Mimi get into a big fight with the snake monster...and she kind of killed it." Said Red Guy as some sweat beads dripped from his brow.
"Mimi did WHAT?! That little brat! She knew I planned to unleash that particular monster onto a planet of small forest creatures and she ruined it!" Roared Him as the eyes behind, his sunglasses glowed green and the office shook.
Red Guy, Pyramid Head, and Slender Man clung to each other in terror. Him's anger was legendary dangerous and he had a tendency to take his rage out on anyone that happened to be nearby. The three minions were expecting to meet their end where they stood, but Him calmed down and stood up from his chair.
"If you excuse me, I'm going to go have a word with my daughter." Said Him as he casually strolled from the office.
Red Guy and his companions let out a collective sigh of relief, before they quickly left the office.
Outside the palace Chi had just finished giving Mimi a pedicure and Mimi was putting her boots back on, when Him came out of the palace and headed straight for the girls and Jeff. Chi noticed that Mimi was tensed up and she looked behind her to see Him coming towards them. Him stopped a few feet from the group.
"Mimi, I heard you killed one of the monsters I kept in Vile Valley. It was the monster I planned to unleash upon a planet full of forest creatures. You just cost me one of my monsters and my plans for the weekends. I spent weeks planning that evil plan and you ruined it just like your mother and all her good doer friends and family did back in the day. And now I have to come up a different plan for my weekend. Maybe I'll spend my time punishing you? You need to be punished severely for what you did and I'm going to take great pleasure in doing that." Said Him with a cruel smirk.
Chi watched as a straightjacket suddenly appeared on Mimi and restrained her. Mimi shot a glare at Him, but didn't struggle.
"I'm going to have you taken to the pit of six hundred and sixty six tortures and I'm going to make you experience every single one of them." Said Him as he walked towards Mimi to grab her.
"Sir please there's no need for that! Mimi only fought that monster in self defense and she had no idea what you planned to use it for!" Cried Jeff trying to reason with Him.
But Him just ignored the spider as he stood before his daughter and was fixing to grab her by her tail. Chi felt, her anger boil as she suddenly reached into her kimono and pulled out one of her guns. The princess pointed it in Him's direction and fired.
BANG!
The bullet slammed into the Rock next to Him's head missing his face by a couple of inches. Him turned to face Chi with an annoyed look on his face as Mimi turned to look at Chi with a slight look of panic in her eyes.
"Now why would you do that daughter of Aku? This is a family matter and it doesn't concern you, so why don't you put that little peashooter up, before I take it from you and pistol whip you with it." Said Him.
"I simply intervened, because your threatening the person, who saved my life, from your little monster. If you must know I fell into your valley, where your monster tried to eat me, but Mimi saved me by beating the tar out of it. Also if you threaten me again and actual harm me, my father will hear about it. He may be stuck in another dimension like you, but I hear that won't be an issue for much longer and then he might come out you with all his might, if you so much as scratch me and I'm sure you don't want to deal with that. I want to make a little deal with you." Said Chi as she glared at Him and pointed her gun at Him.
"I suppose it would be bad for me if I had to go to war with your father. I actually like him. Alright what do you want?" Said Him.
"Firstly your going to release Mimi and not punish her for what she did for me. Secondly I want some snakeskin boots made from that dead snake monster. I'm a size seven. So get lost and get to it." Said Chi with a smirk.
"Fine. I'll give you credit for the boots demand." Said Him as he waved his claw and the straightjacket disappeared from Mimi.
Mimi was slightly shocked that Chi had talked Him into releasing her. Him walked over to Chi and leaned down towards, her, until his forehead was pressed against the barrel of her gun.
"I'll give you credit your a lot braver then I thought. Your also very brash. You think you saved my daughter, but you've only prolonged her torture. Here in The Land of Tainted Souls everything is torture, so there's no escaping pain. Mimi belongs to me and there's nothing you can do about that. You have no powers and you can't do anything without relying on your father." Said Him with a devilish smirk as he lowered his sunglasses, so he could look Chi in the eye.
Chi felt her hand shake a little as she starred into Him's eyes and saw the cruelty and evil in them.
"Have fun with my daughter and send my regards to your father." Said Him as he put his sunglasses back on, stood up, and walked away.
As soon as Him was gone Chi let out a deep breath and leaned against one of the rocks and put her gun away.
"I can't believe you stood up to Him and talked him out of punishing Mimi!" Exclaimed Jeff.
"Me nether. Man...that was intense!" Said Chi as she wiped her brow.
"Thank you Chi." Said Mimi as she went over to Chi and gave her a hug of thanks.
"It...was nothing. You saved me so...I saved you." Said Chi with a smile as her cheeks flushed a little.
Chi hung out with Mimi a while longer and they took a few pictures together and then she returned to her home dimension. The princess gave her father a brief summary about her time with Mimi, but she left out the little confrontation she had with Him. Aku was a little disturbed about Chi getting attacked by a monster, but he relaxed a little, when he heard that Mimi had saved her and defeated the monster. Chi went to her room and prepared for bed. The princess sat in her bed starring at a picture of her and Mimi on her cellphone.
"You really are something special Mimi. I find myself attracted to you, yet I don't know anything about your past. I'm going to learn about your past and then I'm going to figure what to do about my feelings for you. Goodnight Mimi, I love you." Said Chi to the picture, before she went to bed.
As time went by Chi went to spend more time with Mimi and the more time she spent with, her the more the princess's feelings of affection grew. One day Chi arrived at Him's palace and saw that he wasn't in. Chi decided to take this opportunity to explore the palace to see if she could learn anything about Mimi's past. The princess found her way into a large room filled with large pictures of various and strange trophies. There was a stuffed bat with glasses and wore what appeared to be mummy wrappings around it's body and a pharaoh's headdress, a case with a large metal hand with burns on it, some broken glasses with bits of a torn lab coat, a small red gem, an eyepatch with a torn piece of green cloth, and a blue bow next to the skull of a small dog. Chi then found herself starring at a large picture of a tall beautiful woman wearing a lab coat over a red dress and holding a small child wearing a white dress and a pink bow.
"I wonder who those people are? The girl looks...kind of familiar." Said Chi as she leaned in to study the child.
Then it hit her! The child was a slightly younger Mimi! Chi wondered why Mimi looked so different in the picture and then she noticed the glass case near the picture. The case held a knife with bloodstains on it and two severed tiny hands with grey decaying skin on them. The princess stared at the hands and she began to recognize them as hands that belonged to a child.
"What...are those?" Asked Chi in horror as she stared at the hands.
Then suddenly the room began to change and fade away and Chi found herself floating above a wrecked city and a few feet away from, her stood a massive horrible creature with claws. The creature was red and muscular with a few patches of pink fur on it's body. Chi saw that the creature had two massive crabs claws and in one it held Mimi and in the other it held the older women from the picture. Mimi and the woman desperately reached out for one another, but they couldn't break free.
"Ma!" Cried Mimi as tears fell from her eyes.
"STRUGGLE AND CRY ALL YOU WANT! IT WONT CHANGE A THING!" Laughed the monster.
"Let her go!" Cried the woman.
"OH I WILL, BUT I HAVE A LITTLE PRESENT FOR HER." Said the monster as it unleashed a great big breath of red fumes onto Mimi.
Chi watched as the red fumes took on the shape of devilish head with a face twisted into an evil grin as it went into Mimi's mouth and nose and vanished. Mimi stopped struggling and a strange look appeared in her eyes. The monster leaned down towards the ground and released Mimi, but still herald the woman.
"NOW THE REAL FUN STARTS!" Said the monster.
A knife suddenly appeared hovering next to Mimi and she grabbed it.
"YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. NOW GO AND MAKE DADDY PROUD." Said the monster.
Mimi walked towards the woman and then without a word, she stabbed her in the gut! The women cried out in pain as Mimi pulled the knife out and proceeded to stab her again and again. The monster laughed as he released the woman and she fell to the ground bleeding. Mimi starred down at the woman as some tears leaked from her eyes.
"I...love...you...Mimi." Said the woman before she succumbed to her injuries and died.
"Ma!" Sobbed Mimi as she came to her senses, dropped the knife, and fell to her knees crying.
The monster laughed insanely and it began to change and take on a smaller shape, until it became Him. Chi just stared at the scene in horror, she couldn't believe that she had just witnessed Him make, his own daughter kill, her own mother. This was insane!
Him walked over to Mimi and picked up the knife. Chi watched as Mimi's body and clothes began to change into the look, she had now minus the claws.
"Well Mimi it looks like mom is out of the picture. Killed by your hands! And now your physical transformation is almost complete. Just going to have to do a little surgery to your hands." Said Him as he held the knife up.
Mimi just sat on the ground looking defeated. Him forced her to raise her arms up and then he swung the knife cutting Mimi's hands off! Mim cried out in pain and Him laughed and waved his claw. Red energy appeared at the end of Mimi's bleeding arms healing them up and then the energy turned into two claws. Chi just stared at the scene in horror and set felt like she might throw up. The city then vanished and Chi found herself back in the trophy room. The princess felt unsteady and she began to fall backwards, but something caught her. Chi turned to see that Jeff had caught her.
"You ok Chi?" Asked Jeff with concern.
"No...I'm not. I just...a weird vision...that might have been the past and I saw Mimi, her mom, and Him. I saw...Him put something into Mimi and then he had her murder, her mother and Him cut off, Mimi's hands!" Said Chi as she trembled and held herself.
"You...had a vision of a past event. An event you didn't know about and never witness, till now?" Asked Jeff.
Chi nodded her head and pushed herself away from Jeff. The big spider decided that it was best to talk about the vision in another room. The two of them went to the kitchen and Jeff brewed some tea for Chi to help calm her nerves. Chi told Jeff what she saw and then he told her that what she saw actually happened. Jeff then told Chi about Mimi's past and about her mother Blossom.
"From what I've seen, you have the ability to see visions of the past through objects greatly associated with the events. There's a lot of pain associated with the knife you saw and I guess that triggered the vision you saw." Said Jeff.
"Guess that makes sense. So that room was some kind of trophy room where Him has stuff associated with, his defeated enemies?" Said Chi.
"It is. What you saw was all that was left of Mimi's aunts, stepdad, and a few of her friends, who all tried to protect her. Those people are my friends to." Said Jeff sadly.
"What was that stuff Him infected Mimi with?" Asked Chi.
"It's an evil thing called devil essence. It's pure evil and corruption. Mimi has been fighting the devil essence's influence for a little over a year now, but I have no idea how long she can hold out against it with Him torturing her and trying to corrupt her by making her fight monsters." Said Jeff.
"Is there anything we can do about it?" Asked Chi.
"Well I'm working on a way to remove the devil essence from Mimi's body, but that's still a bit off." Said Jeff.
"Well...I wish you luck with that. I had no idea...about the horrible things Him did to Mimi. What kind of father does that to a kid? That's seriously messed UP!" Said Chi.
"I know. As far as I'm concerned Him may be Mimi's biological father and created Mimi, but he was never her real father." Said Jeff.
"What do you mean?" Asked Chi.
"Well do you love your father and does he love you and take care of you?" Asked Jeff.
"I do love my father and he loves me back. My father cares fir me a lot." Said Chi.
"And that's what a father should do for their children. They should love and care for them. Him has done neither of those things. He killed almost everyone close to Mimi, sliced off her hands, and then forced her to come live here in this place. Him has lost every right to call himself a father." Said Jeff.
Chi slowly nodded her head in agreement. It amazed her how differently, her father and Him treated their daughters. Aku loved Chi and he made sure she was happy, while Him tortured and abused his daughter for some kind of twisted enjoyment.
"Is...there anything I can do to help?" Asked Chi.
"You can continue being Mimi's friend. She likes you and your one of the few things in the multiverse that can make her happy and I appreciate that. Mimi deserves a little happiness after everything, she went through." Said Jeff.
"Alright...I'll continue to be Mimi's friend, but I'm going to figure out some other way to help." Said Chi.
"Thank you." Said Jeff.
Chi located Mimi outside the castle and she put on a happy face as they hung out. A few hours later it was time for Chi to leave. The princess looked at her friend and gave her a hug.
"I just want you to know that your important to me and that I'm here to help if you ever need anything." Said Chi before she ended the hug.
"Thanks." Said Mimi.
Chi returned home and went to her room. The princess was very conflicted now about her emotions and Mimi's situation. Mimi's life was hard and if Chi brought up her feelings for her and if Mimi didn't feel the same way, she could end up rejecting Chi and her friendship and Mimi would be hurt by another loss. Chi didn't like the idea of rejection and she didn't like the idea of unintentionally hurting Mimi emotionally. Then the princess buried her head into her pillow in frustration. This whole thing was crazy and unfair!
"Why is fate so cruel?!" Said Chi to herself.
It was then that Chi was struck by a crazy idea of inspiration. A way for both her and Mimi to win and get what they wanted. Chi was going to marry Mimi. The princess planned to present this idea to Mimi and explain that by marrying her, Mimi would be able to leave The Land of Tainted Souls and get away from her father. Mimi would like that and Him would get a huge chunk of Aku's empire after the weeding, which would be more then enough to please the evil being and keep him from wanting Mimi back. Mimi would finally be free from her father and then Chi would get to spend more time with her and maybe Mimi would develop and show deep feelings for the princess. Chi got her face out of the pillow and looked up at the celling with a dreamy smile on her face as she imagined the wedding.
"I do take Mimi to be my partner."
Chi then began to think about rings and she realized that Mimi didn't have any fingers, so that was a bit of a problem. Well there were a few scientist in Aku's empire and maybe one of them could build Mimi some robotic hands with fingers to replace her claws. Chi then decided to go speak to her father about her feelings for Mimi and what she planned to do. The princess found her father in the throne room.
"Ah hello my darling Chi." Said Aku as he smiled at his daughter.
"Hey daddy, um I have some important personal stuff to say." Said Chi.
"What is it Chi? You know you can tell me anything." Said Aku.
"I'm in love." Said Chi feeling a bit more comfortable about talking to her parent.
Aku grinned and changed into Ikra who motioned for Chi to sit next to her.
"Tell me everything." Said Ikra as Chi sat next to her.
"I'm in love...with Mimi." Said Chi.
"Well I'm sure there's quit a story behind that." Said Ikra.
Chi began to tell her mother about her time spent with Mimi and how she began to love her. The princess told her mother what she liked about Mimi and how she was the most amazing person she ever met.
"I have to say Mimi does sound like an amazing person. I can see why your attracted to her." Said Ikra.
"Your...ok with my feelings towards Mimi?" Asked Chi.
"I am. Chi if Mimi makes you happy then I'm happy for you. All I want for you is to be happy." Said Ikra.
Then Chi dropped the big news.
"I wish to marry Mimi."
"Well your a bit young to decide on something like that so early in your life, but I can tell you really love Mimi and if she loves you back, then you have my blessing for your marriage." Said Ikra.
"Oh thank you mom! I'm so happy!" Exclaimed Chi as she hugged her mother.
"Your welcome sweetie." Said Ikra as she returned the hug.
Chi happily skipped off to her room singing 'Here Comes the Bride'. A week later Chi was fixing to go see Mimi and explain her plan of marriage to her, when she got a tex message from her that completely derailed her plans.
"Chi. I just want to say thank you for being my friend. I will always remember and cherish the time we spent together. Jeff is fixing to remove the devil essence from me and then the two of us plan to flee into another dimension. My father is cruel and he would harm anyone that's close to me including you. I lost to many friends and loved ones and I can't bare to lose someone like you. Your safety and wellbeing is important to me, so I don't want to put you in any danger from my father. You have been a really good friend and I wish you a happy life. Goodbye." Read Chi as she stared at the phone screen.
Chi felt her heart beating rapidly in her chest and she clenched her teeth. Mimi had just ruined her plan!
"Why did you have to be so selfless and concerned about my wellbeing?! Your the one living a horrible life with a cruel father! I could have saved you, protected you from your father, and given you a better life! I was going to tell you how I felt and we could have had a good relationship with each other! Instead you just sent me a tex message and fled to another dimension!" Shouted Chi.
Chi was so angry that she didn't notice that her body was changing. Her head became large and monstrous, until it resembled a tyrannosaurus, sharp spikes grew out of her back, her hands became larger with claws, a tail grew out of her backside, and her eyes became two glowing orbs with no pupils. The princess breathed heavily and then she began to calm down. It was then that she looked at a mirror and saw her new form. Chi stumbled in surprise, her new tail knocking over a chair as she stared at her reflection in shock. The princess looked at her hands, glanced at her new tail and then carefully touch her monstrous head to make sure it was real.
"I...shape shifted. My first transformation!" Said Chi excitedly as she stared at her reflection.
Chi looked at her reflection and concentrated thinking about the form, she normally had. In a matter of seconds she had returned to her normal self. Luckily Chi's clothes were made from mystical fabric similar to her father's tunic so they didn't rip when she transformed. Chi was excited, apparently her anger at the situation with Mimi had caused her to tap into her powers a use them. She had powers now, which could come in handy for the future. Chi spent the next few weeks practicing her powers in secret and making a new plan to find Mimi and confront her. Then she told her father she wanted to go into the multiverse to lead a search party to find Mimi.
"I understand your desire to search for Mimi, but the multiverse is a dangerous place Chi and I can't accompany you." Said Aku.
"But I need to go look! I need to find her." Insisted Chi.
"Alright how about this, I will allow to travel to another dimension, which is home to several of my allies and the Lich. They are on a planet called Earth and it seems to be attracting all manner beings of good and evil, maybe Mimi might be there. Anyhow one of my former top generals is there and maybe he and some others can help you. The general is named Demongo. Dose this sound good to you?" Said Aku.
"It's sounds good father. I will pack my things, gather some minions, and head out to this dimension and this Earth." Said Chi.
"Best of luck to you my daughter and I hope you find Mimi." Said Aku as he patted Chi on the head.
"Thank you father." Said Chi with a little smile.
Chi soon packed some bags and gathered sixty minions. A dimensional portal was opened up and the group set out for another dimension.
"I will find you Mimi." Vowed Chi as she and the minions traveled through dimensional space.
