Chapter 183 History Video

(Author's Note: This chapter is part one of two that will explain the history of Universe 622. The Powerpuff Girls will appear in it, but they'll look more like normal girls. Some of the history is based off Snafu comics. Enjoy the chapter.)

In the Capitol, Mimi was placed in a bed and Atalanta went about checking her out and then she went over to Phoebe to look at, her injured shoulder. The goddess placed a hand on the wound and there was a faint flash of blue light and the wound was healed up.

"How did you do that?" Asked Phoebe.

"My powers can be used to help heal the injured as well as increase my strength." Explained Atalanta.

"You have a healing touch honey." Said Martin.

"Is Mimi going to be ok?" Asked Jeff.

"It's tough to say. For Mimi it isn't her body that needs to heal, but her soul." Said Atalanta.

"What does that mean?" Asked Lapis.

Iroh decided to answer this question.

"Well from what Jeff has told us, Mimi was traumatized by her mother's death and she blames herself for it. Mimi has refused to forgive herself for, her mother's death and by doing this she has not allowed her soul to heal. The devil essence is using this negativity to tempt and corrupt Mimi and I'm afraid if this keeps up Mimi will lose herself completely to the evil inside her."

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Asked Peridot.

"We can only hope for the best. Only Mim can face the essence and forgive herself. Once he does, she can begin to heal her soul and beat the evil inside her." Said Iroh.

"I...told Mimi what happened to her mother and the others wasn't her fault. She was...hurting so much on the inside and...I wasn't aware of it. I was supposed to...take care of Mimi...and I failed her." Said Jeff as tears began to fall from his eyes.

"Hey this is not, your fault Jeff. You did everything you could and you were there for Mimi after, her mom died. Mimi loves you and she wouldn't want to see you getting upset at yourself. When she wakes up, she's going to need you." Said Lapis.

"I guess your right. Thank...you Lapis." Said Jeff with a smile as he wiped his eyes.

"I wish we could get a little more history about the universe Jeff and Mimi are from." Said Peridot.

"I think I can arrange that." Said Iroh as he walked out of the room.

Dimensions away in the Time Room, Prismo got a call from Iroh asking him for history about a universe that had an evil being named Him in it and his connection to a women named Blossom. Prismo said he would create a little video about the history and send it to Iroh. The god then went about going through his archives, until he found the right universe and began to go through it's past, until he gathered up all the history, he needed and copied it to a DVD. Prismo put it on a disk and summoned Rob and Bobert.

"I need you guys to deliver this to my friend Iroh." Said Prismo as he handed Rob the disk and opened up a portal.

"You can count on us." Said Rob.

Rob and Bobert jumped through the portal and appeared in a room with Iroh. The cyclops and robot introduced themselves and handed Iroh the DVD. Iroh thanked them and Rob used his remote to open a portal back to the Time Room and jumped through it. Iroh then took DVD and showed it to Atalanta and the others explaining what it was. Atalanta had just the place to play the video. Jeff said he would look after Mimi, while the other watched the video. The goddess lead the group down a flight of stairs and towards a large room that appeared to be a theater that was next to what appeared to be an arcade and a weapons forge. The group went into the theater and sat down. Atalanta walked over to a projector like machine and put the DVD in. The lights went out and the video began to play.

The video showed a city and a caption that said Universe 622. Then a man with the caption Professor Utonium was shown working in a laboratory putting things into a large pot. The Professor put in sugar, spice, and various nice things into the bowl, such as flowers, candy, ice cream, little stars, and hearts. Once all the indignities were added the Professor began to mix them together with a large spoon. Everything was going along fine, until a chimpanzee wearing a diaper ran into the Professor and his spoon hit a flask filled with a black liquid and had the words Chemical X on it. The liquid landed in the pot and the contents exploded and the Professor was thrown to the other side of the lab along with the chimpanzee, whose skin turned green and brain burs out of it's skull and became large. The Professor groaned as he looked up at the table where the pot was and saw three little girls that looked to be about six. The first girl had long red hair, pink eyes, and wore a red bow a pink dress with a black stripe in the middle, with white tights, and black Mary Jane shoes. The second girl had blond hair with pigtails and blue eyes and wore a dress similar to the first girl only it was blue. The final girl short black hair in a flip with a small triangular part on her forehead, green eyes and wore a green dress. The Professor stared at the girls in shock. The girls greeted their creator/father and the Professor gave the girls names. The girl with pink eyes was given the name Blossom, because of her open friendliness, the girl with blue eyes was given the name Bubbles because she was cute and bubbly, and the girl with the green eyes was given the name Buttercup because it also begins with a B. The newly named girls thanked the Professor for their names and later revealed that they had superpowers, due the Chemical X. Blossom and her sisters could fly at incredible speed and had super strength.

The girls then began to go to school and after a destructive game of super tag, where they caused damage to the city, they had to face the citizens looking at them like freaks and outcast. Blossom and her sisters tried to keep a low profile by not using their powers to try and walk home, but they got lost and encountered a local gang of criminals. The girls were saved by a mysterious figure, who turned out to be the Professor's chimpanzee, who had gained super intelligence. The chimpanzee went by the name Jojo and he had dreams of conquering the world. Jojo saw that the girls had special abilities and he decided to use them to help future his goals. The mutant ape pretended to sympathize with the girls and he told them he had a plan to help the world and make it better. The girls helped Jojo build an observatory/lab on a volcano and then they gave him some Chemical X. Jojo then kidnapped several apes and monkeys exposing them to the Chemical X, turning them into mutants like him. The newly made army of mutants began to invade the town at about the time the girls were entering the town with the Professor and were telling him that they helped someone build something to help the world. The girls and Professor then as the mutants and then they found Jojo at city hall in a blue outfit with white gloves, boots, a purple cape, and a white dome helmet that covers his brain. The girls asked what was going on and Jojo told them that he was going by the name Mojo Jojo and this was part of his plan to conquer the world and make it better fir him. The Professor was shocked by this news and the girls tried to explain that they didn't know what Mojo was planing and the Professor told them he didn't know what to think anymore. The girls flew off in shame and headed to the moon to sulk about what they had done, but then they heard all the citizens crying out in fear and panic and decided to go help rescue them. During one of the rescues Buttercup punched a gorilla and knocked it out, this made Blossom realize that she and he sisters's strength could be use to stop the mutants and so they began to pummel them and beat them. Mojo realized what was going on so he took the Professor hostage and retreated to his lab. The girls chased after him and Mojo injected himself with Chemical X causing him to grow into a monster with super powers. Mojo went on a rampage and the girls saved the Professor, who though it would be best for all of them to move to a new city. The girls refused saying Mojo was their responsibility and they had to deal with him. After an intense fight the girls knocked Mojo off of a skyscraper and he fell to the ground nearly crushing the Professor who had arrived on the scene with a bottle of Antidote X to remove Mojo's powers. The girls saved the Professor and Mojo landed on the Antidote X, which returned him to his normal size. Blossom and her sisters were then going to take the Antidote X to remove their powers, but the citizens stopped so, telling the girls not to do, saying that the girls were amazing and that they were thankful for what the girls did. The citizens then apologized for the way they acted in the past and they asked the girls to become their heroes and protectors. The girls agreed and they took on the name Powerpuff Girls.

The Powerpuff Girls faced many threats including Mojo and a demonic being named Him, who mysteriously appeared one day. Him back then wore a lady's red jacket and skirt with pink tulle at the collar and hemline, a black leather belt with a bronze buckle, and black, thigh-high, spike-heeled boots.

"So that's what happened to that devil." Said Atalanta.

"You know that guy?" Asked Finn.

"He fought alongside the End during the Great War. Our paths crossed a few times. The Cosmic Owl banished Him to another dimension at the end of the war." Explained Atalanta.

The movie showed the Powerpuff Girls battling Him and ruining his plans. The girls even bested Him when he tried to attack them in their dreams. The movie skipped a few years and showed the girls now 11 years old and going to a new town and attending a new school. The girls meet a young ginger haired boy named Dexter. Dexter was a genius who wore glasses, a white lab coat, purple gloves, blue pants, and black boots. At first Dexter wanted to test the girls skills by challenging Buttercup to a fight against one of his inventions. The fight ended in a draw and some time later Dexter became friends with the girls and began to spend time with them. Dexter spent a lot of time with Blossom and the two began to develop feelings for each other.

Years later the Powerpuff Girls and Dexter were in their twenties. Blossom and Dexter, who was now a cyborg were married, Bubbles was a successful blarney and had a pet dog named Courage, Buttercup lost her right eye and ran a dojo. The Powerpuff Girls had teamed up with various other heroes to create a new team to defend the planet. These new members consisted of a muscular monster fighting human named Hoss Delgado who had a metal hand that transformed into multiply weapons and a chainsaw for a leg, a person who was 1/4 human, 1/4 vampire, and 1/2 mummy named Irwin, a half human half demon women named Raven, and Jeff the spider. Things were going good, until Him approached Blossom with a dark deal. Him now wore a red suit with a black tie, a white furry collar and black sunglasses. The evil being said he wanted an heir and for Blossom to be the one to bear it. Blossom first refused, but Him told her if she did, then he would visit several other women and force them to produce multiply heirs. This made Blossom realize that several innocent lives would be in danger, so she agreed to have Him's child, on the condition he promise not to produce anymore children. Him agreed and he got Blossom pregnant. Blossom was first ashamed by this, since she felt like she cheated on Dexter, but when she told Dexter what happened, he was very understanding and hugged his wife telling her, he still loved her, that he was going to help raise the child, and everything was going to be alright.

Months later the child was born and it was a girl with black hair and red eyes. Blossom rested in a hospital bed, while Dexter sat nearby holding the girl in his arms. Dexter stared down at the baby girl and smiled at her. This was his wife's child and though it wasn't his biological, he vowed to raise the girl as his own and love her. The girl was named Mimi. Years zoomed by and the movie showed Mimi spending time with her friends and family. Mimi displayed psychic powers and she wanted to help protect the world, but Blossom and Dexter didn't want to see Mimi get hurt. The little girl then showed she had the ability to see into the future and she wanted to use this power to help her mother and the others. Dexter built a machine called the Nephilim to boost Mimi's abilities and help alert heroes of incoming threats. Mimi stood for several hours in this machine for several days straight and this weakened Mimi's legs to the point she needed to sit and get around in a wheelchair. On her ninth birthday Mimi got a visit from Him, who explained, he was her real father and that she was evil and destined to be his successor. Blossom and her sister showed up and Him quickly vanished from the scene. Mimi was devastated by the news she got from Him, but Blossom, Dexter, and Raven were there to comfort her. Blossom told Mimi she loved her and that Mimi she wasn't evil, Dexter told Mimi, that though he wasn't her biological father, he loved her with all his heart, and Raven told Mimi she knew what she was going through and that she went through a similar situation. Raven explained that her father was a demon named Trigon and since the moment she was born she believed that she was destined to bring nothing but a dark disastrous future to the world, but then she made friends that treated her like family and gave her the strength to fight the destiny she though was unavoidable and in the end Raven defeated her father and took back her life and turned it into something positive. Raven then told Mimi that she was the one that controlled and decided her fate not her father. Mimi was amazed by this tale and this cheered her up for the rest of her birthday.

Unfortunately things would change very badly for Mimi and her loved ones.
