Chapter 184 Dark Day

The movie speed forward and began showing Mimi having her tenth birthday then skipped a few months ahead. The world seemed at peace and then a massive army of demonic monsters began to invade the city and a smaller army began to attack a city on the other side of the planet. Blossom went to go deal with the monsters on the other side of the planet and left Dexter in charge of coordinating the other heroes. Bubbles and her dog Courage went to fight monsters and help people evacuate from buildings. Courage was blowing a whistle and waving some flags around directing people where to go, while Bubbles fought some monsters. A tall monster that resembled a hairless cat managed to sneak by and went after an old couple and their granddaughter. The granddaughter screamed in terror and clung to grandmother as the monster prepared to attack, but Courage leaped in and bit the monster's tail. The monster screamed in pain and staggered back giving the elderly couple and their granddaughter a chance to escape. The evil beast reached back and grabbed Courage, yanking him away from it's tail, and hurled the brave little dog at a wall. Courage hit the wall with a loud crack, before falling limply to the ground. The little dog was dead.

Bubbles heard the crack of Courage's body hitting the wall and turned to see her canine companion laying on the ground not moving.

"Courage!" Cried Bubbles as she flew over and began cradling the dog's body.

"Your next little girl!" Laughed the cat monster as a dozen other monsters arrived on the scene and surrounded Bubbles.

Bubbles looked up at the monsters with angry tears in her eyes and then she opened her mouth up and unleashed a sonic wail.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The wail shattered the windows of several nearby skyscrapers, sent cars flying, and when it hit the monsters it sent them flying and reduce their bodies to atoms. The cat monster that had killed Courage let out a silent scream of terror and dismay as it's body disintegrated. Bubbles stopped screaming and gently laid Courage on the ground and then flew off to fight more monsters.

Miles away at the hero headquarters, Dexter was monitoring the conflict in the city, while Jeff stood nearby trying to comfort Mimi. It was then in a flash of red light that Him.

"Oh Mimi, daddies here to get you!" Sang Him with a nasty smirk.

Mimi's eyes went wide with terror, as Dexter used a computer in his cyborg arm to send a quick message to the other heroes. Dexter then hit a button and Mimi's wheelchair began to hum and then it vanished along with Mimi. Him looked incredibly annoyed by this and began to speak his mind.

"You are really starting to anno-"

CRASH!

A section of the celling opened up and a massive compressor weight machin came crashing down on Him, seemly crushing the evil being to death, but Dexter knew better. Dexter turned to Jeff.

"I teleported Mimi to a safe section of the city. Her wheelchair has a tracking in it, so you'll be able to find it. Hopefully the other Blossom and the others will get to you soon. Now take this tracking device and find Mimi quickly." Said the cyborg as he handed Jeff a small computer device.

"What about you?" Asked Jeff as he took the device.

"I will stay here and keep Him occupied. There's very little chance that I'll be able to beat Him or survive. I've run the numbers and I know the odds, but I accept them." Said Dexter.

"Deter...you can't. Blossom. Mimi. They'll both be so...heartbroken." Said Jeff.

"I know, but I'm willing to lay my life down to protect both of them. Now go Jeff. Mimi needs you." Said Dexter.

"Ok." Said Jeff as he reluctantly turned to leave.

"And Jeff, when you find Mimi. Tell her daddy loves her." Said Dexter.

"I will." Said Jeff as he left the room.

The compressor began to shake and it exploded to bits. Him stood before Dexter dusting himself off.

"You done?" Asked Him.

"Not yet." Said Dexter as he pressed a button on his arm.

Laser cannons popped out of the walls and celling and they began to bombard Him, with high intense lasers. Him staggered a little under the bombardment and then he opened his mouth and unleashed a energy beam from it that destroyed some of the laser cannons. The evil being then went about destroying the other cannons and turned to face Dexter. The genius was charging at Him and hurled a wrench at the vile being. Him easily dodged the wrench as it twirled by, his head. Dexter reached Him and extended a his right palm towards the devil's face. The palm lit up and fired an energy beam right into Him's face. The attack took Him by surprise by destroying his sunglasses and blinded his eyes, but didn't do to much damage. Dexter took this opportunity to tackle Him and knock him to the ground. The scientist then began to pound on Him's face with his cyborg arms. Dexter recalled the pain on his wife's face when she told him, about the deal she made with Him and how she was going to have his child and the look on Mimi's face when she learned who her true biological father was. Those memories fueled Dexter's blows with rage. This monster had hurt and emotional scarred the people Dexter was going to make it pay. And for a brief second it seemed like Dexter's attacks might being doing actual damage, but Him's right claw shot up and grabbed Dexter by the throat and the left claw stabbed him in the gut with a large knife. Dexter gasped in pain as Him stood up and tossed Dexter to the side hitting a wall. Him brushed himself off and put on some new sunglasses.

"I'll admit you put up more of a fight then I expected, but you still had no chance of beating me." Said Him.

"I...know that, but I still managed to keep you distracted from Mimi, so...it was worth it." Said Dexter as he coughed up some blood.

"Perhaps. Since I'm here I'm curious to know why you showed my child any love or compassion. I mean she isn't yours and her mere existence should have angered, since you know I forced your lovely wife into having her." Said Him.

"Firstly Mimi isn't your daughter, you...may have taken part of creating her, but she will never truly be yours. I'll admit, I was upset about it at first, but it wasn't at Blossom or Mimi, it was at you. You brought my wife...pain and sadness and for Mimi, you made her cry and hate herself for being your child. When Mimi was first born I didn't see you in her, I saw Blossom. Mimi is the child of the women I love and even though she wasn't mine I vowed that I would lover her as my own. I saw the good in her and knew that she would be like her mother." Said Dexter.

"You foolish believe that kid can resist becoming evil. She has my blood in her! She is destined to be evil!" Declared Him as he walked over to Dexter, twisted the knife in his gut, and yanked it out.

Dexter began to bleed and he felt himself fading. The scientist looked up at Him with a weak smile.

"My...wife and her sisters beat...you several times over the years. Their goodness and kindness...bested your evil powers. That same goodness resides in Mimi and it's going to beat your bad blood and everything else you throw at her. Your...not as power as you claim to be Him...and you will be beaten." Said Dexter.

A slight look of pure rage appeared on Him's face, which only made Dexter smirk and let out a dry chuckle as he breathed his final breath, an image of Blossom and Mimi smiling flashed through his mind, and he died. Him calmed down and stormed off to find Mimi.

In another part of town Hoss, Irwin, and Raven had just took down forty monsters, when Hoss got Dexter's message and location on where Mimi was on his communicator.

"Looks like the big bad is in town and after Mimi." Said Hoss.

"Yo we have to get Mimi and her someplace safe." Said Irwin.

"If we encounter Him, can your magic take him down Raven? You took down Trigon with it." Said Hoss.

"It's...not that simple. I haven't used that kind of power and concentration in years. I can only do it when I'm completely focussed and all my emotions are completely synced." Said Raven.

"Well looks like will have to go with plan B then." Said Hoss.

"What's plan B?" Asked Erwin.

"I had Dexter help construct a extremely powerful weapon of last resort. A grenade that packs the power of a nuclear bomb." Said Hoss as he pulled out a large grenade with a nuclear symbol on it out of his pant's pocket.

"Exactly what do you plan to do with that?" Asked Raven.

"When that devil shows up I'm going to jump onto him and set this bomb off. Raven I need you to teleport me and Him out of the city, when I do that. I don't want any innocent folk getting killed by this." Said Hoss.

"Hoss that's crazy! You'll get killed!" Said Irwin.

"I know that, but I ain't afraid to die. If I'm going to die then I want to go out with a bang taking out that devil and putting an end to his evil." Said Hoss as he put the grenade back in his pocket.

"Fine Hoss, I'll do it. It might be the only way we can take Him down." Said Raven.

"I guess it makes sense." Muttered Irwin not really liking the plan.

Hoss just nodded his head and the three of them moved out heading towards Mimi's location.

Elsewhere Bubbles was flying around taking out several monsters with her eye beams, when suddenly a ten foot tall monster that resembled a humanoid jackal leaped up from behind her and slammed his fist into her back and smashed the blond hero to the ground. Bubbles hit the ground with a crash creating a large crater. Four troll like monsters jumped on Bubbles and began to pound on her, but Bubbles managed to fight them off, then the jackal monster slammed into her again and began to deliver a bunch of devastating punches to Bubbles. The monster then delivered one last punch that sent Bubbles flying a few yard back and she crashed to the ground. Bubbles coughed up some blood and laid on the ground looking up at the sky. Everything then began to go dark for Bubbles.

"This...is it. Blossom. Buttercup. Mim. Dexter. I'll miss you all." Thought Bubbles as the darkness of dark came over her and she passed on.

The jackal monster let out a laugh of triumph and a bunch of other monsters joined in. It was then that Buttercup arrived on the scene. Buttercup looked at her sister's body and gently picked it up. She then carried the body over to some grass and gently laid it there. Buttercup had a few tears leaking out of her and she wiped them away as she turned to face the jackal monster.

"Did you kill her?" Asked Buttercup with a growl in her voice.

"I did and now I'm going to do the same to you." Boasted the monster.

"Big mistake. I'm going to end you." Said Buttercup as she glared at the monster with murderous rage.

The jackal monster looked into Buttercup's eye and it's confidence and courage melted away to be replace by fear. The evil creature realized it stood no chance against the primal force of rage that stood before him. Buttercup moved with lightning speed and delivered a punch to the monster's face. The monster's head along with it's upper body exploded showering the other monster in blood and guts. The only thing left of the jackal was it's torso and it topped lifelessly to the ground. The other monsters stare at their dead comrade in shock and then Buttercup turned to face them.

"All you creeps are going down by my hands!" Declare Buttercup.

"Oh yeah! Come on guys we outnumber her we can take her!" Shouted one brave monster.

The monsters charged forward to attack. Buttercup let out a savage war cry as she jumped into the horde and began to unleash hell upon the monsters. The dark haired hero dealt death blow after death blow taking out dozens of monsters in mere seconds. The monsters began to panic and called out for reinforcements and soon most of the invading army was converging on Buttercup trying to take her down. Buttercup was punched, kicked, sliced at with claws and swords, hit with clubs, and singed by fire blasts, but none of the attacks seemed to phase her. The green Powerpuff was fueled by rage over her sister's death and she was determined to take down all the monsters. A red cyclops the size of a skyscraper stomped his foot down on Buttercup seemly crushing her, but then Buttercup smashed through the foot and delivered a powerful uppercut to the cyclops's chin shattering it's jaw and causing it to topple over and crush several more monsters. Buttercup landed on the ground to deal out more killing blows and a few monsters managed to jump onto her and began to punch and kick at her crazily trying to bring the hero down. The green hero let out a scream of rage as she threw the monsters off and unleashed a powerful energy beam from her eye and used it to incinerate all the remaining monsters. Buttercup stood amongst a huge pile of dead monster, with her body covered in a multitude of bleeding scars, burns, and bruises. In less then an hour Buttercup had basically destroyed most of Him's invading monster army.

Him then arrived on the scene and he was both dumbfounded and furious at the sight of his defeated army and Buttercup standing in the center of it.

"I really should see about getting better help. All these useless morons managed to get themselves killed. Well at least they killed one of the Powerpuff Girls and it looks like your fixing to kick the bucket Buttercup." Said Him.

"Man I wish you sorry mug had been here earlier. I would have smashed all your teeth out...and break every bone in your body." Said Buttercup with a glare.

"Oh such hostility towards your brother-in-law. We're family after all." Said Him.

"Your no family to me. You hurt my sister and her family and I will never forgive you. My niece isn't yours and your no parent." Said Buttercup with a growl as she felt her body grow weak.

"Oh I just simply didn't want to have to put up with a screaming baby. Got enough crying and screaming back at my place." Said Him.

Buttercup began to laugh.

"What can you find so amusing at a time like this?" Asked Him raising an eyebrow.

"Well for starters I took down nearly everyone in your army. Also Mimi will never be yours and I was thinking about that time, where you invaded me and my sisters's dreams and I threw your sorry butt down into a deep dark void and you screamed as you fell. Man that felt good." Said Buttercup.

"Well those times are over and that plan was a setback." Said Him with a big frown on his face.

"I guess so, but let me tell you something first. I might be fixing to die, but I'm going to figure out a way to come back and plant a nice little punch in that face of yours and wipe that creep arrogance off of it. That's a promise." Said Buttercup with a determined look in her eye.

Buttercup then succumbed to all her injuries and died standing up. Him gave the body of his fallen enemy one last glare and stormed off to continuing looking for Mimi.

Elsewhere Mimi siting alone in her wheelchair in the middle of a deserted part of town, when Jeff arrived on the scene to take her someplace safe. Then suddenly the ground began to shake and a Lava Monster rose from the ground to attack Mimi but at that moment Hoss Delgado, Irwin and Raven appeared and came to Mimi and Jeff's rescue. The Lava Monster pulled his hand out of the ground and sticks it out towards Mimi to grab her when Irwin stops him by wrapping the monster's arm with his mummy bandage. Hoss then jumped onto the Lava Monster's head and drills into it's head with his chainsaw leg and began shooting it with a machine gun built into his metal hand. The Lava Monster completely came out of the ground and stomped on the ground sending Jeff and Mimi flying. Raven appears and caught Jeff, Mimi, and the wheelchair with her powers and safely puts them back on the ground. Raven then began to speak an incarnation but got interrupted by Him who suddenly appeared behind her and slashed her in the back with a knife, making her fall to the ground. Irwin saw this and became furious. He changed into a bat intending to bite Him, with his fangs, but Him grabbed the bat by the neck with his claw and snapped it's neck. Irwin was dead. Him then threw Irwin's body to the ground, to the horror of Raven.

Meanwhile the Lava Monster had yanked Hoss from his head and the human was struggling to break free. Raven went over to Jeff and Mimi and Jeff asks if everything was ok. Suddenly the Lava Monster rises of pillar from the ground with Mimi on it to get her on the same eye level as him. Mimi angrily scooped some rocks up and began to throw at him at him, but they didn't phase the monster. Raven then casts a meteor out of the sky that drops on the Lava Monster's head and made him drop Hoss to the Lava Monster faced Raven and said she is full of mother instinct trying to protect her daughter but Raven says she's not the mother. Him then explained that Mimi can call for her mother from distance and that she was coming. Him then asked Raven to join him and be Mimi's nanny but Raven refuses. The the Lava Monster conjured up a war club and was fixing to crush Raven, Hoss, and Jeff when suddenly Blossom arrived on the scene and fired a pink laser through the Lava Monster and killed him. Blossom swooped in and scooped up Mimi holding her to her chest as the Lava monster crashed to the ground.

Raven went over to Jeff giving him a small box that had a circular gold chakra gem in it. It was a gift Raven had gotten and planed to give to Mimi on her 11th birthday. Raven asked Jeff to give it to Mimi before she exchanged looks with Hoss telling him, she was ready to do plan B. Hoss got behind Him and wrapped his arms around the villain's neck. Him tried to stab Hoss with his knife but Raven holds his hands shut with her powers. Hoss pulled out his nuclear grenade and Raven teleported herself along with Hoss and Him far away from Mimi and Blossom. The trio appeared several miles away and the grenade exploded! Hoss and Raven were killed by the explosion, but Him snarled with annoyance and rage as the blast burned his body, but then he began to grow and become monstrous. Him teleported over to Blossom and Mimi and grabbed them each in a claw.

"Ma!" Cried Mimi as tears fell from her eyes.

"STRUGGLE AND CRY ALL YOU WANT! IT WON'T CHANGE A THING!" Laughed Him.

"Let her go!" Cried the Blossom.

"OH I WILL, BUT I HAVE A LITTLE PRESENT FOR HER." Said Him as he unleashed a great big breath of red fumes onto Mimi.

The fumes took on the shape of devilish head with a face twisted into an evil grin as it went into Mimi's mouth and nose and vanished. Mimi stopped struggling and a strange look appeared in her eyes. Him leaned down towards the ground and released Mimi, but still held Blossom.

"NOW THE REAL FUN STARTS!" Said Him.

A knife suddenly appeared hovering next to Mimi and she grabbed it.

"YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. NOW GO AND MAKE DADDY PROUD." Said Him.

Mimi walked towards Blossom and then without a word, she stabbed her in the gut! Blossom cried out in pain as Mimi pulled the knife out and proceeded to stab her again and again. Him laughed as he released the Blossom and she fell to the ground bleeding. Mimi stared down at her mother as some tears leaked from her eyes.

"I...love...you...Mimi." Said Blossom before she succumbed to her injuries and died.

"Ma!" Sobbed Mimi as she came to her senses, dropped the knife, and fell to her knees crying.

Him laughed insanely and it began to change and take on a smaller shape, until he was back in his normal form. He walked over to Mimi and picked up the knife. Mimi's body and clothes began to change into her more devilish appearance.

"Well Mimi it looks like mom is out of the picture. Killed by your hands! And now your physical transformation is almost complete. Just going to have to do a little surgery to your hands." Said Him as he held the knife up.

Mimi just sat on the ground looking defeated. Him forced her to raise her arms up and then he swung the knife cutting Mimi's hands off! Mim cried out in pain and Him laughed and waved his claw. Red energy appeared at the end of Mimi's bleeding arms healing them up and then the energy turned into two claws. Jeff ran over to Mimi and put his hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eye.

"Listen to me Mimi, what just happened to your mom and the others wasn't your fault." Said Jeff.

"Hey spider, normally I kill you on the spot, but I'm short staffed at the moment and I need a nanny for the kid. You already look after, so you can have the job, also if my dear daughter misbehaves and tries to betray me, I could simply threaten you and she'll change her tone. What do you say?" Said Him as he eyed Jeff.

"Fine I'll watch over Mimi." Said Jeff.

"Splendid now let's head towards The Land of Tainted Sous. With no heroes around this place is boring, plus I need to bring that Lava Monster back to life, I might still have some use for him and he was a gift I got from Aku." Said Him.

Him opened up a portal that swallowed him up along with Jeff, Mimi, and the Lava Monster's body. They were gone from the city.

The movie ended.
