Chapter 187 Crazy Night

The next day Chi got a knock on, her door and she opened it to find Nyx, Ying, Alcor, and Samantha. Chi smiled at the little group and let them into her room. The little group sat around Chi's bed.
"So what brings you to this place?" Asked Nyx.
"Well I come from another universe and I always wanted to explore other universes." Said Chi.
"So what kind of specious are you?" Asked Alcor.
"Well I'm a demon of darkness." Said Chi.
"Interesting. I'm a clone. I'm half human half mind demon. My demon half comes from Bill." Said Alcor.
"So your a clone. What can you do?" Asked Chi.
Alcor decided to demonstrate, his abilities by making his wings sprout out from his body and conjured up some blue flames on his hands. Chi looked at Alcor with awe.
"Well I guess we're all doing a little show and tell. I'm a cyborg." Said Samantha as she move the synthetic skin on her right arm and showed her metal arm.
Samantha then transformed her arm into a cannon and showed it off to Chi, who was amazed by this revel.
"My turn! I'm a witch!" Said Nyx as her hands sparked with purple magic.
"So what does the bird do?" Asked Chi as she pointed at Ying.
"Oh his my faithful familiar. Comes with being a witch." Said Nyx.
"Alright since you all have shown me what you can do, it's only fair that I show you what I can do. Now this is my first time doing this in front of a group of people, but I like having an audience, so here I go." Said Chi.
Everyone watched as Chi's body began to change. Chi became smaller and shape shifted into a black cat with a black body, a white face, white underbelly, white paws, and a black tail with some fire on the end of it. The cat looked up at the others and smiled.
"Oh my Glob you are so cute!" Squealed Nyx as she picked Chi up and began to cuddle her.
"Thanks...um...would you please put me down." Said Chi.
"Ok. Sorry about that." Said Nyx as she put Chi down on the bed.
"It's fine." Said Chi.
Nyx then began to stroke Chi's back, who purred with satisfaction.
"So you can change into whatever you want?" Asked Samantha as she turned her cannon back into an arm and put her synthetic skin back on.
"Not exactly. My powers only kicked in recently a few weeks back, but so far I've only been able to transform into small animals. I've done a couple of bigger animals, but nothing really huge." Said Chi.
"Does your father know about your power yet?" Asked Alcor.
"No I haven't told him yet. I wanted to get the hang of them first and maybe learn how to transform into something big, so I could surprise him." Said Chi as she walked away Nyx and changed back into her normal form.
"That's cool." Said Alcor.
"Thanks, so you guys know of any cool fun places to go to hangout at?" Asked Chi.
Samantha and Nyx exchanged a look and smiled.
"Yeah we know just the place." Said Samantha.
"You got any casual clothe to wear?" Asked Nyx.
"Let me check." Said Chi as she went over to her closest and began to go through it.
A few minutes later, Chi came back with a western outfit, complete with brown skirt, shirt, dark brown vest, a red bandana, a cowgirl hat, and boots.
"This should work." Said Chi.
"Yeah! We're dressing like cowgirls!" Cheered Nyx as she used her magic to change her clothes.
Nyx was now wearing a black skirt, black shirt, a pair of black cowgirl boots, purple vest, purple bandana, and a purple cowgirl hat.
"You want to come with us Alcor?" Asked Samantha.
"Sure. I'm gamed for whatever your doing." Said Alcor.
"Alright, will let Chi change and then will head out. Will those ninja guys be ok with you leaving or do they need to come with us?" Said Samantha.
"Oh they're fine with me leaving, I'll just order them to stay put." Said Chi.
"Cool." Said Samantha.
"So what's this place we're going to?" Asked Chi.
"It's called Castle Lemongrab." Said Nyx.
"Sounds interesting." Said Chi.
The others left the room to let Chi change.
At Castle Lemongrab, King was in his office meeting working on some plans to rename Castle Lemongrab, when there was a knock at the door.
"Come in." Said King.
In walked a buck-toothed rat man with brown wearing a long sleeve pink shirt, a blue tie, blue pants, and black shoes. The rat man's name was Elmo Sputterspark and he was an electrical engineer who designed and built the power generators that ran all the power for Castle Lemongrab. King had found Elmo by chance and immediately recruited him for his skills.
"Elmo my dear brilliant engineer, what can I do for you?" Asked King.
"Well sir I was wondering if I could have a raise?" Said Elmo.
"And why would you ask for something like that?" Asked King.
"Well I did design and build your power generators and I help maintain all the rides and other electrical devices. Also the amount of money you pay me now is criminally cheap." Said Elmo.
"Elmo. Elmo. Elmo. You fail to see the big picture. I would love to give you more money for your valuable services, but I'm afraid there's not much room in the budget. There are so many other people in my employee that need to be paid. There are guards, servants, mercenaries, park workers, cooks, and bathroom attendants that have to be paid. A new age is coming to our land and it's going to take all my resources to see it through." Said King.
"All your resources?" Asked Elmo.
"All of them. And I'm afraid if your asking for more money I'm going to have to let you go." Said King.
"But...sir!" Sputtered Elmo.
King pulled out the sound sword, he stole from Lemongrab and place it on his desk and gave Elmo a glare. Elmo gulped and nodded his head in apology as he quickly made his way to the door.
"I'll have someone send you a gift basket with an assortment of cheese." Called King cheerfully as Elmo exited the office.
"That scoundrel! He just fired me for a very little reason! If it weren't for me, he wouldn't have his big fancy theme park. Well I'll just cut his power!" Growled Elmo as he walked away from King's office.
Elsewhere, Toronto was in his own office having a meeting with a slender dog wearing a brown business suit. The dog's name was Bud Flud and he owned a water bottle company called Sparkling Crystal Pure Flud Water. Bud was a crooked businessman, who loved making money and he hated his business having any form of competition. This hatred and greed had lead Bud into taking some drastic actions against his competitors. Toronto had caught wind of this and saw this as a good business opportunity.
"So why did you call me here?" Asked Bud.
"Well I have something to show you." Said Toronto with a smirk as he handed Bud a file.
Bud took it and looked inside. There were a bunch of photos showing Bud dumping barrels of toxic waste into a large vat of drinking water of another water bottle company. Bud went pale and Toronto chuckled.
"I wonder what the local authorities would do if they saw these?" Said Toronto.
"What do you want?" Asked Bud.
"Just for you to sign over your company over to me." Said Toronto as he handed Bud a contract.
Bud reluctantly took the contact and signed it.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Said Toronto with a smile as he took the contract.
"Four out of five businessmen might give up after losing their business, but I'm the fifth. Mark my words Toronto I'm going to come back and make a big splash in Ooo. This deal will come back to haunt you." Vowed Bud with a glare.
"Oh I'm shacking." Teased Toronto.
Bud just shot Toronto a glare and marched out of the office.
(Author's Note: Elmo AKA Megavolt and Bud AKA Liquidator are both villains from Darkwing Duck and will have larger roles later in the story.)
In one of the lower levels of the castle, Monkey King and Puppet King were attending a meeting with Sir Slicer and Bandit Princess in a meeting room. Sir Slicer was informing the others that he has assembled an elite team of knights called The Order of no Quarter. Monkey King decided to tell the group that he assembled his own elite team and he called them The Freaky Monkey Five.
"Is that powerful psychic monkey a part of your group?" Asked Puppet King.
"You mean Specter. No he isn't." Said Monkey King.
"Whys that?" Asked Puppet King.
"Well because, he just straight up and left. Specter was always a bit moody and questioned my authority from time to time, but his loyal to his kingdom so I'm sure he'll come back and join us, when we get the party started. Like a good monkey." Said Monkey King.
"That is true. I have heard about what you were planing so I have retuned to you my king." Said a new voice from the doorway.
Everyone turned to see a orange furred, red eye monkey, with bushy eyebrows and Fu Manchu beard and mustache. The monkey wore brown on his chest, with round shoulder pads, and two metal gauntlets. Bandages were wrapped around the monkey's arms, legs, tail, ears, and top of his head.
"Hello my king. It's been a while." Said the monkey.
"Ah Mandarin, it has been quit a while since I last saw you." Said Monkey King.
"Who exactly is this guy?" Asked Bandit Princess.
"Mandarin used to be my top warrior and at one point, he was considered to be one of Ooo's greatest heroes, second only to Billy. Billy and Mandarin used to be friends, but then one day Mandarin got tired of defending the kingdoms of Ooo and waned to rule them instead. Mandarin tried to takeover the Wildberry Kingdom, but good old Billy found out and decide to lay down some law and smack on Mandarin. The two fought each other in fierce combat and in the end Billy won, but he showed Mandarin mercy and let him live. Mandarin was angry about being beaten and denied an honorable death, so he left Ooo to travel the world and train, so he could become stronger and challenge Billy to a rematch." Explained Monkey King.
"And train I did. I faced many monsters, scaled tall mountains, and endured harsh environments to become stronger. Then I caught wind about your plans to conquer all of Ooo and I came racing back to provide my services and fight alongside of you." Said Mandarin.
"Well it's good to have another capable warrior in our ranks." Said Sir Slicer.
"There's just one thing I ask for." Said Mandarin.
"And what's that?" Asked Monkey King.
"I wish to challenge Billy in one on one combat on the battlefield. Billy is my enemy and I wish to be the one to defeat him." Said Mandarin.
"Fair enough. Billy is yours." Said Sir Slicer.
"You have my blessing to kill the old dude." Said Monkey King.
"Thank you sirs. I look forward to the coming war and serving you." Said Mandarin with a bow before he left the room.
"Whose up for nachos?" Asked Money King as he looked at his comrades.
(Author's Note: The Order of No Quarter is from Shovel Knight, The Freaky Monkey Five are from Ape Escape, and Mandarin is from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go.)
It was sunset by the time, Chi and her group arrived at Castle Lemongrab. Chi had her hair in wrapped up in a bun, so it only reached the back of her neck and was dressed in, her western clothes. Nyx was decked out in her western clothes and she had Nyx sitting on, her shoulder with a tiny bandana. Samantha wore her regular clothes and Alcor had changed into some black pants and a long sleeved back shirt, but he still wore his top hat. Chi and Alcor looked at the theme park with awe and wonder. The group went inside, where they split a pizza from one of the food stalls.
"So does your body still need food?" Chi asked as she looked at Samantha.
"My body is mainly machinery, it doesn't require me to eat food, however I am able to turn whatever I consume into back up energy for my body. I mainly do it becomes it makes me feel human, plus I got taste sensors that allow me to enjoy it." Said Samantha before she munched on her pizza.
"That sounds cool." Said Chi.
Nyx decided to cause some mischief and used her magic to conjure up some banana peels on the ground. A hooligan carrying a pie slipped on one and his pie hit a slider guy in the face. The slider guy angrily grabbed the hooligan and dunked him head first into a trash can. Another slider guy carrying a bunch of drinks slipped on another peel and the drinks splashed over a group of bath boys, who pulled out some rolled up fowls and began to hit the slider guy, with them, forcing him to flee in terror. Chi and the others laughed at the scene and Nyx took a little bow. The group finished eating and went off to ride some rides and look at some games. Chi and the others were enjoying themselves, when they came across a shooting gallery game with little moving targets. Chi grinned as she went over to play the game.
"Shoot thirty targets in under two minutes and you can win a big prize." Said the attendant as he gave Chi one of the toy pellet guns.
"Oh I intend to." Said Chi as she faced the targets.
The game started and Chi demonstrated her sharpshooter skills. In two minutes, she had shot over eighty targets. The attendant was flabbergasted and Chi's friends and a crowd of onlookers cheered for Chi. The princess smiled with triumph as she blew imaginary smoke from the pellet gun and took stock of the prizes. Her eyes landed on a big stuffed red alien with crustacean claws, which made her think of Mimi, so she asked for it. The attendant handed her the prize and Chi took it and gave it a little hug.
"Where did you learn to shoot?" Asked Alcor.
"Oh I had my daddy find me some good tutors." Said Chi.
The air was filled with slow clapping from the crowd.
"I have to say that some mighty fine shooting little lady." Said a tall lanky monkey, who came walking out of the crowd.
The monkey wore a blue jumpsuit with an X shaped ammo holder across his chest. He also wore fingerless gloves, silver knee pads, sliver and blue shoes, a blue cape, and a blue cowboy hat with a silver brim around it, with a strange round blue light in the center. The monkey also had banana-styled revolver in a holster by his waist.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Asked Chi as she eyed the newcomer.
"The names Blue Monkey. I'm a member of the Freaky Monkey Five and I also happen to be the regional sharpshooter champion in these parts. I saw your shooting skills and I'm quit impressed."
"Thanks." Said Chi.
"I have a little proposition for you." Said Blue Monkey.
"And what's that?" Asked Chi.
"I want to challenge you to a little shooting contest. If I win, you have to have a drink with me, but if you win you get this championship belt I have." Said Blue Monkey as he pulled out a large silver belt with a fancy gun shaped belt buckle.
Chi looked at the belt and scratched her chin in thought for a few seconds, before she finally spoke.
"I'm in. Prepare to lose that belt of yours blue boy."
"Oh you got some spunk. I like that." Said Blue Monkey.
The two of them headed over to the shooting game. Blue Monkey up the belt down on a table, grabbed one of the pellet guns, and went first. The gunslinger had a cocky grin on his face as he began shooting the targets. In three minutes Blue Monkey had shot one hundred and twenty targets.
"Beat that." Said Blue Monkey.
Chi took a deep breath and picked up one of the pellet guns. The game began and Chi fired away at the targets. Sweat trickled down Chi's forehead as she shot target after target. As the last seconds ticked down, Chi hit two more targets and the game ended. Chi's final tally was one hundred and twenty two targets. The crowd went wild and cheered for Chi. Blue Monkey stared at the score in shock. Chi walked over to Blue Monkey with a smirk on, her face.
"I'll be taking that belt now." She said as she grabbed the belt and put it on.
"No...this can't be right! This gun must be defective." Grumbled Blue Monkey as he picked up the pellet gun he used and examined it.
Nyx let out a small chuckle as she unleashed a tiny purple spark of her magic at the gun. The gun exploded covering Blue Monkey's face in soot. The crowd laughed and Blue Monkey sulked away. Nyx gave Chi a thumbs up and a wink and Chi returned it. Chi and her group decided they wanted ice cream, so they went off to go get some.
A few hundred yards away from Chi's group there was the power station that generated and provided power to Castle Lemongrab. Elmo was currently in the station wheeling in small portable power generator he had created towards one of the central power generators in the staton. The engineer planed to use his portable generator to overload the central power generator and destroy it. With the generator destroyed Castle Lemongrab would have no power.
"If I'm no longer working here then the generator I created won't either." Said Elmo as he set his portable generator next to a work bench that had an open soda can sitting on the edge.
It would take a few minutes for the portable generator to power up. Elmo attached a cable to it and held the other end ready to stick it into the big generator.
Meanwhile Chi and her group had just finished eating some ice cream, when they caught wind of a karaoke contest that was fixing to happen. The contest required a duet and the winner would win a red convertible. Chi looked at Nyx.
"What do you say, you want to team up and win big?"
"Count me in." Said Nyx.
The group headed over to a stage with a large tv screen, where the contest was going to be held. The convertible sat nearby. Chi and Nyx signed up and they learned that there was only one other team. The other team consisted of Lumpy Space Princess and a monkey called Pink Monkey. Pink Monkey was a member of the Freaky Monkey Five and she was an up and coming pop idol in Ooo. She was a pink ape with big, girly eyes, blushing cheeks, and short blond hair that framed her face, who wore a simple pink tank top and skirt, worn with a dark brown belt. She also had a straw hat with a glowing blue light built into it and a pair of brown sandals with silver clasps around her ankles. LSP had bribed Pink Monkey to be her karaoke partner, with money and the promise to get a bunch of her friends to buy Pink Monkey's cd. Pink Monkey felt confident that she and LSP could beat anyone in karaoke.
"Oh my Glob this is so exciting! I'm singing with a real pop idol! All my friends are going to be so jealous!" Said LSP as she took selfies with Pink Monkey.
"You pick a song yet?" Asked Pink Money.
"Yeah I did. It's totally going to be great and the crowd will love us! I should know I wrote the song." Said LSP.
Pink Monkey and LSP got onto the stage with microphones and the lyrics for the song 'These Lumps' popped up on a screen.
These lumps.

But you can't 'cause you're a chump!
These lumps.
So go back home, back to your duuuuuuuump.
The song ended and the crowd cheered. Pink Monkey bowed and LSP took more selfies. The two of them got off the stage and Chi and Nyx got on the stage. The lyrics for Livin La Vida Loca began to play on the screen.

The song ended and the crowd cheered wildly. Samantha whistled, Ying chirped, and Alcor let out a whoop. Chi and Nyx smiled and took a bow.
"Those girls are totally rocking it!" Said LSP who had filmed the whole thing.
One of the workers came onto the stage and declared that Chi and Nyx had won the contest Pink Monkey gritted her teeth in anger. The mere thought and idea of losing and being out staged enraged the monkey pop idol.
"I refuse to lose! I'm supposed to be the star!" Growled Pink Monkey as she got on stage and made, her way onto the stage and toward Chi and Nyx.
Nyx saw Pink Monkey coming and saw flames appear on, her hands. Pink Monkey was fixing to launch some kind of attack, but Nyx used her magic and the ground beneath Pink Monkey gave in and she fell through the stage and onto her back getting stunned. Unfortunately Pink Monkey still managed to throw a fireball, but it missed Chi and Nyx completely and hit a fireworks setup instead. The fireworks went off making several explosions and caused the crowd to scatter. A bunch earclopses and bugbears charged towards the stage followed by the Farm. The security forces seemed to have their eyes set on Chi and her group.
"Well looks like we need to fight our way out of here." Said Samantha.
"Not without our prize." Said Chi.
"Alright. Me and Alcor will clear a way, while you three make it to the car." Said Samantha.
"Got it." Said Nyx.
An earclopses charged at Samantha swinging a club at her, but the cyborg dodged it and delivered a powerful kick to the monster's chest that knocked it back into it's companions. Samantha then loudly clapped her hands together creating a sonic sound wave that hit the earclopses and made them all crash to the ground and onto the bugbears. Alcor faced off against the Farm, who grinned down on him with confidence.
"Your about to buy the Farm!" Laughed Farm.
"Not today." Said Alcor as his right arm stretched and his fist became as big as the Farm's head.
The Farm stared at the giant fist in shock as it crashed into his head and knocked him to the ground in a groaning heap. Samantha and Alcor ran to the convertible, where they saw Chi, Nyx,and Ying sitting in the backseat. Alcor got into the passengers side and Samantha got behind the wheel. Samantha pointed her finger at the ignition and a tiny metal blade extended from, her finger and into the ignition. The cyborg twisted her hand and the car started up. The car took off towards the nearest exit. Nyx used her magic to cause more chaos and confusion by making popcorn machines and drink machines explode. Fireworks continued to explode all over the place as Samantha drove the convertible out of Castle Lemongrab and headed away. LSP cheered excitedly. She had recorded the whole thing with her phone, but when she went to view the video all she saw was her finger and a bunch of shaky footage, so it was impossible to make out who some of the people in the video were. LSP groaned in frustration.
At the power station, Elmo was fixing to stab the cabal into the generator, when a firework hit the side of the building and exploded. The explosion shook the building a little and caused the soda can on the table to fall over and spill it's contents onto the portable generator. The machine sputtered and sparked, before it sent a huge surge of electrical energy up the cable and into Elmo.
"Aaaaaaaaaaayyyyaayayyyyyaaayyyy!" Shouted Elmo as he was shocked with the energy and then sent flying and crashing into a wall.
Elmo groaned as he stumbled to his feet and glanced at the ruined remains of his portable generator. The machine was nothing more then melted metal. Elmo then caught a glanced of his reflection in a door window and saw that his hair was all puffed out like an afro.
"Well that's new. This plans a totally bust." Said Elmo as he walked over to a door and prepared to leave.
A few sparks of electricity jumped from Elmo's hand and the doorknob. Elmo stared at his hand in shock before he opened the door and left the power station, unaware that something extraordinary and strange had happened to his body.
Chi's group drove to the secret lair and got out of the car.
"Man that was crazy." Said Samantha.
"Well I had fun and I enjoyed it all. Thanks for taking me." Said Chi.
"It's no problem. We're friends after all." Said Nyx.
"I guess I'll head back to my room. Enjoyed hanging with you." Said Chi as she began to walk off with her belt and toy.
"Later princess." Called Nyx with a wave.
Chi just gave a smile and continued onto, her room. Today had been a fun adventure and Chi looked forward to spending more time with her friends and going on another crazy adventure. Ooo was certainly turning into a fun experience for Chi.
