Chapter 189 Crazy Times

Jake and Jermaine stared at Gata not sure what to make of her, since she told them, that she was their sister.
"What...do you mean, your our sister?" Asked Jermaine.
"I was raised in the same family as you guys. I've known you guys my whole life." Said Gata.
"I...think I would remember having a sister growing up." Said Jake looking unsure.
"Is this some...kind of weird joke? Come on Jake this isn't funny! I've lived with you and Finn in the tree fort for years." Said Gata looking a little upset.
"Whoa calm down! I'm not joking, I seriously don't know you." Said Jake raising his arms up.
"Yeah how do we know your not some kind of evil monster, who has it out for our family." Said Jermaine as he studied Gata with weary eyes.
"Your being parodied Jermaine. I guess being alone at mom and dad's country home really did a number on your mind. You did set the place on fire and let it burn to the ground." Said Gata.
"Wait...how do you know that?" Asked Jermaine.
"Because I was there along with Finn and Jake, when it happened. I know you were angry man, but wouldn't it have made more sense just burn burn the objects the demons were after, instead of the whole house. If you had burned those objects in the first place those demons would have left you alone and the house would still be around. I mean that place was my home to." Said Gata looking a little mad.
"Gee. I never really...thought of that." Said Jermaine as he scratched his chin in thought.
"Ok timeout! You were there, when Jermaine burned the house down?" Said Jake.
"Course I was. I always come along with you and Finn on adventures, besides were were going to see how Jermaine was doing." Said Gata.
"But...I don't remember you. How can you know this stuff?" Said Jermaine.
"Alright Gata why don't you tell us, how exactly you came to be a part of our family in the first place." Said Jake.
"Ok. Well I don't remember much. I just faintly remember being a baby left inside a box crying in front of a gate of an old makeup building in the old city we used to live in, before we moved to the country. Then mom showed up and found me. She picked me up and gently began to cradle and rock and I calmed down. Mom then took me to her home, where I met you two and dad. They fell in love with me so they adopted me as one of their own and that's how I became a part of the family." Said Gata.
"How'd you get the name Gata?" Asked Jermaine.
"Mom was inspired by the gate she found me by and named me Gata." Said Gata.
"Guess that makes sense." Said Jermaine.
Gata then decided to tell about stuff from the childhood she had with Finn, Jake, and Jermaine. She knew a lot about Joshua and Margaret's other children. Gata knew about Finn singing his Puncha yo Buns song, when he was a little baby, Jake reading a bunch of vampire stories as a pup, which resulted in his earlier fears of vampires, and Jermaine being jealous about Jake's powers. She then gave a detailed recap about all the friends they made over the years, including Marceline, Lucinda, Henry, Simon, Betty, Tobe, Django, Phoebe, Gearga, Drake, Slippy, William, Momo, Night, Phoebe, Broot, Sprocket, Usagi, Circe, Eria, Doctor Princess, Flame King, Patience, Slime Princess, Weiss, Huntress Wizard, Hunter Wizard, Brad, Braco, Neddy, Skeleton Princess, Neptr, Lumpy Space Princess, Iroh, Prismo, Balder, Fionna, Cake, Stormo, Rattleballs, Moe, BMO, Lady and her pups, Susan, and the humans from Gravity Falls. Gata then went into detail about all the crazy adventures that she went on with her friends and the battles they fought against evil. As Gata told Jake and Jermaine all of this the two brothers began to feel a slight throb in the back of their heads. The brothers had a foggy distant memory of another child growing up with them and Finn, but then it became blurry.
"So this ringing any bells to you? Do you believe I'm your sister now?" Asked Gata.
"Well...I'm getting some flashbacks of another kid growing with us and Finn...and I think it was you, but I can't really remember anything past us being little kids." Said Jermaine.
Gata looked disappointed at this.
"But what you just told us, tells us you know a lot of things. Only a few people know about a few of some of our friends and about the crazy adventures we went on. The way you told some of those adventures, it sounded like you were really there, so I believe your our sister. We just don't completely remember you for some weird reason." Said Jake.
"Maybe Crimson or some other baddie with mad magic skills put some kind of curse on you to make you forget about me." Said Gata.
"Maybe. What's the last thing you remember before all of this?" Said Jermaine.
"Well we got a message alert on dad's holo-message player telling us to go to a temple at the bottom of a lake and save a statue from some intrudes. We got there and started fighting those thieves, who were trying to steal a statue that looked like me, which I thought was weird. The three of us fought the thieves and I remember getting grabbed by my robe and getting tossed at the statue. It shattered and I helped you guys beat the thieves." Said Gata.
"I think that us accidentally breaking the statue brought you here or maybe it freed you from the statue." Said Jake.
"Maybe dad's messages can help shed some light on this weird mess. They're back at the tree fort, so we might as well leave this place." Said Jermaine.
"Sounds like a good plan. I really want to know what's going on." Said Gata.
The three of them exited the temple, swam to the surface, and headed towards the direction of the tree fort.
Several miles away at Mount Milky Way Asylum, Walker was doing his rounds and thinking about how he could help the Candy Kingdom. It was obvious that people like Queen Bubblegum and Jeremy were huge parts of the problem with the current situation in Ooo. Bubblegum had her extreme idealism about protecting the Candy Kingdom at any cost no matter what and Jeremy's actions were motivated by greed. Both were unfit to rule and something as powerful and dangerous as the Phantomrider needed to be kept out of their hands. Walker started to think about freeing the psychics to overthrow Jeremy and destroy the Phantomrider. If Walker freed Specter, then maybe he could convince Specter to tell the Monkey King not to go to declare war on the Candy Kingdom. With a little luck Walker could get the psychics to takedown Bubblegum, then Braco would be fully in charge and if he proved to be a bad leader Walker would have him removed from power as well and search, until a good ruler for the Candy Kingdom was found.
Walker was interrupted from his thoughts by the sight of Father Hersey, Mike, and Pike standing in front of a cell talking to someone. The guard went over to take a look and saw that it was a duck man with a big toothy grin on his face dressed in patient garbs. Walker recognized the patient as a newcomer, who came in a few days ago. According to the file the patient had once been a toy maker, who owned a shop in the Puppet Kingdom, then one day a video game store unveiled a new video game called Whiffle Boy. The game was very popular and it's popularity ran the toy store out of business. The toy maker became furious and he went crazy. He unleashed a platoon of toy tanks and plans that fired real explosives onto the video game store and destroyed it. The toy maker then unleashed an army of windup toy soldiers onto the kingdom to destroy the video games that had been purchased. A good deal of the Puppet Kingdom had been damaged before the toy maker had been captured attempting to flee the scene in a toy clown car. The toy maker had been declared crazy and had been sent to Mount Milky Way Asylum.
"So you see my feathered friend, this place is a temple of the Phantomrider. We are a part of the chosen to help do his will." Said Father Hersey.
"So you want me to be a part of your group and play ball?" Said the duck.
"That's what he said." Said Mike.
"Let me consult my little friend Mr. Banana Brain first." Said the duck as he pulled out a small doll with a peeled banana for a head, crooked tooth smile, and a red nose.
"They seem nice, but you shouldn't join their group." Said the duck in a different voice as the side of his mouth moved a little.
"Well it's your choice. If you ever reconsider let us know, we would be glad to have you as a member of our congregation...mister..." Began Hersey, but he then realized that he didn't get the duck's name.
"Oh I had a name, but I don't think it suits me anymore. You can call me Quackerjack!" Said the duck.
"It was nice talking to you Quackerjack." Said Father Hersey as he and his two followers left the cell.
"This place must be the Island of Misfit Toys, Mr. Banana Brain. I think will fit right in." Said Quackerjack to his doll.
"This place keeps getting weirder and weirder." Muttered Walker as he continued his rounds.

Meanwhile a clinic in the Mountain Kingdom was in for a special visitor. Doctor Princess was checking some medical files as she thought about Tobe and what he was up to. It was a strange relationship the doctor had with the ninja. She had first met him, when she helped tend to the wounds of the hunting group that gone after Maja in the woods. Doctor Princess found herself drawn to the human and his scars and despite his somewhat intimidating presence, Tobe was very kind and polite to Doctor Princess. Tobe had saved Doctor Princess twice from danger and she loved him for that. The two had grown close and Doctor Princess allowed the ninja to live at her house. It had been a bit tough for Doctor Princess, after Tobe had left Earth with Finn and his group, but Tobe had promised that he would return. Doctor Princess finished going through the file and decided to go check on her various patients.
At the front of the clinic, Elmo stumbled in twitching a little. The rat man looked like a mess, with his clothes unkept and nothing but a little patch of hair on his head. The past few days had been strange for Elmo. Lights flicked when he walked by them, car alarms went off, and Elmo started to hear strange voices. At an ATM machine, Elmo had been having trouble making the machine work, until he placed his right palm on it and electricity shot from it and into the ATM. The machine spewed a ton of money at Elmo's feet and he stared at it and his hand in shock. Then Elmo heard a voice coming from the ATM, telling him to take the money. Elmo freaked out and quickly left the scene with an armful of bills. As time went by Elmo noticed more sparks of electricity spark from his body and heard voices coming from electrical devices. Elmo then decided to seek medical attention and went to the clinic. The rat man signed in and took a seat in the waiting room. It was then that a few of King's henchmen walked. It was Gareth and the Flying Lettuce Brothers. Gareth had come seeking revenge on Doctor for punching him in the face and since Tobe was off world and the remaining heroes were busy with other task, now was the perfect time to strike. The trio of henchmen saw Elmo, recognize him, and decided to mess with him.
"Well if it isn't the king of losers!" Said Gareth with a big grin as he marched up to Elmo.
"Would you kindly leave." Said Elmo.
"Sorry ain't going to happen. You know you used to be an annoying important person that used to work for King, so you were off limits, but now your unemployed and fair game. I'm going to give you a nice little charge." Said Gareth as he pulled out a taser and stuck into Elmo's chest.
Elmo yelped in surprise as he felt the electricity go through his body, but instead of feeling any pain, he felt ecstatic. Every cell in Elmo's body felt electrified and they hungrily drained the power out of the taser. The taser went dead and Gareth stared at it and Elmo in confusion. Elmo looked up at Gareth with a crazy grin on his face as he put a hand on Gareth's chest and unleashed an electrical burst. Gareth let out a yell of pain as his hair stood up and he was sent flying back and crashed into a wall groaning. The Flying Lettuce Brothers stared at Gareth in stunned silence. The other patients and a few nurses in the room were also equally shocked.
"Well that was a shocker." Said Elmo with a laugh.
The lights begin to flicker and electricity sparked off of Elmo.
"I understand what's happening to me now. The electrical shock turned my body into an electrical powerhouse! I have been granted the powers of lighting and with these powers I will have my revenge on King and everybody whoever looked down on me!" Declared Elmo as he raised his hands up and unleashed blast of electricity into the celling.
Patients and nurses screamed and ran for their lives as the Flying Lettuce Brothers grabbed Gareth and ran for their lives. Elmo laughed as he pointed his fingers like guns and fired off burst of electricity over people's heads. Doctor Princess happened to be in a supply room, when she heard the noise and peeked out to see what was going on. The medical women saw Elmo firing electricity and quickly closed the door.
"Ok...there's a nut job firing electricity and attacking people. This...is just nuts! I need to call someone, maybe the Peace Protectors." Muttered Doctor Princess as she pulled out her cellphone.
To Doctor Princess's dismay, the phone was dead. She couldn't use it to call for help. Doctor Princess was on her own. What could she do against the guy throwing electricity? She didn't have powers or special combat skills. Then Doctor Princess though back to how she defended herself from Gareth and a few goons a while back and a plan began to form in her mind. Doctor Princess put on a large white lab coat to cover her body, a medical garb that covered her head with a little pouch for her hair, yellow rubber gloves, and some large goggles. The medical women also grabbed a medicine ball, a beaker, and some chemicals. She mixed the chemicals into the beaker, before she opened the door and threw the beaker to the ground. It exploded into a cloud of smoke getting the attention of Elmo and the patients and nurses.
"What's that?" He yelled.
"I am the doctor, who cures the diseases of crime. I am the vaccine that makes the world well. I am Science Whyzard!" Declared Doctor Princess as the cloud faded and she stood there for everyone to see holding an exercise ball.
"Oh a hero huh? Well prepare to taste the power of...um...darn I really don't have a good name for myself yet." Said Elmo.
"Taste exercise!" Yelled Doctor Princess as she hurled the exercise ball at Elmo.
Elmo blasted at it with, with his electricity, but since the ball was made from rubber it wasn't affected by the attack and slammed into Elmo knocking him down. Doctor Princess made a run for the fire alarm as Elmo stumbled to his feet. The women reached the alarm and pulled the switch causing the sprinklers to go off getting everyone wet. Elmo wiped some water from his eyes and tried to fire electricity, but nothing happened. The rat stared at his hands in confusion.
"What's going on?"
"You got shorted out. Now it's time to give you the chair!" Said Doctor Princess as she picked up one of the chairs, ran at Elmo, and swung it at him.
The chair struck Elmo in the head and he fell to the ground unconscious. Doctor Princess dropped the chair and the patients and nurses cheered. The Doctor did a little bow, before she pulled out another vial mixed some chemicals into it and threw it to the ground. The vial exploded int a cloud of smoke and when it cleared Doctor Princess was gone. Doctor Princess made it back to the supply closet and changed out of her Science Whyzard outfit. Talk about a rush. The whole superhero name and entrance had been something Doctor Princess had thought up in spur of the moment and she had just defeated a dangerous maniac with powers.
"Just wait, until Tobe hears about this." Thought Doctor Princess, with a slit smile.
Some soldiers from the Candy Kingdom arrived at the clinic and loaded an unconscious Elmo into a van to ship him off to a special holding facility. The facility turned out to be Mount Milky Way Asylum. Jeremy was pleased with the new arrival and he was determined to figure out how he worked.
Miles away Gata, Jake, and Jermaine had arrived at the tree fort. Gata was pleased to see her home and she was determined to find some answers to explain the weirdness going on with her life and brothers.
