Chapter 190 Thoughts and Visions 1

Gata, Jake, and Jermaine walked into the tree fort and were greeted by BMO and Neptr.
"Jake. Jermaine. Your back and you brought a friend." Said BMO.
"Hey BMO. Hey Neptr." Said Gata.
"How do you know our names?" Asked Neptr.
"This is Gata...and she's our sister. She knows a lot about us...and lives with me and Finn." Said Jake.
"But I would have know if there was another person living in the tree fort." Said BMO looking confused.
"I know it's weird, but Gata knows about of personal stuff about all of us and I have these faint memories of another kid growing up with us and Finn. I believe everything Gata has told us about being our sister to b true. There's a holo-message player with important messages from our dad that can explain what's going on." Said Jermaine.
They found the holo-message player and played the Important Task message one first, for Gata to see. Gata told Jake and Jermaine that she saw a similar message play before she went down to the temple to check on the statue. Jake picked up the cartridge labeled Explanation and handed it to Gata.
"You sure you want to...see this Gata? It could be something bad." Said Jake.
"We have to know. This is something that needs to be explained." Said Gata with determination as she put the cartridge into the player.
A holographic image of a tired and sad Joshua appeared before the group.
"Hello children, I guess if your watching this then that means the statue broke and you met a person named Gata, who claims to be sister and that she lived with us. What Gata says is true. She did live with us for a few years, but then she had to go away. I loved Gata and cared for her, but then something horrible happened and I was forced to use a dangerous magical item to seal Gata into a statue to keep her and everyone else in Ooo safe. They're powerful forces at play and Gata is a..." Said Joshua, but the hologram burst into static.
"I'm a what?! What forced you to seal me up in a statue?!" Cried Gata as she shook the holo-message player.
"Gata calm down. Will fix this." Said Jermaine as he put a hand on Gata's shoulder and calmly took the holo-message player away from her and handed it to Jake.
"Can you fix it BMO?" Asked Jake as he took the cartridge out and handed it to BMO.
"Can do! It'll take some time though. This other cartridge might be damaged as well, so I'll fix it to." Said BMO as he put the cartridge into a slot on his body along with the G Explanation cartridge.
"Thanks BMO, I'll pay you back by giving you a supercool upgrade." Said Gata with a smile.
"So you...ok sis?" Asked Jake.
"Yeah...I'm just a little stressed and confused about this whole thing. Dad seemed pretty spooked about something that went down while I was around before being sealed in a statue. Something really bad happened and apparently I was somehow a part of it and dad had to seal me up to keep me and everyone else safe. I need to know what...happened." Said Gata.
"Whatever it is will help deal with it. Your our sister, so we got your back. That's what family is for." Said Jake.
"Thanks bro." Said Gata with a smile.
The group hung out. Jake went upstairs to get some old photo albums, while Gata and Jermaine sat at the kitchen table. Gata had a notepad and pen and she was drawing a blueprint for a giant robot body for BMO. Jake returned with the photo albums and looked over at what Gata was drawing.
"Cool giant robot Gata! You must be super smart like Bubblegum." Said Jake.
"Thanks, but don't compare me to that jerk Bubblegum." Said Gata.
"Why not?" Asked Jake.
"Well for starters she took advantage of Finn's feelings for her and got him to do a bunch of dangerous task and then she broke his heart!" Said Gata.
"Well...yeah that was kind of cruel, but then Finn met Phoebe and they fell in love." Said Jake.
"That's true, but then Bubblegum pulled that crazy stunt in the Fire Kingdom and got a bunch of people killed and hurt. Now there's the threat of war between the Fire Kingdom and Candy Kingdom. Bubblegum cares for no one but her kingdom and herself." Said Gata with a growl.
"Harsh, but you kind of got a point there." Admitted Jake.
"What's with the photo albums?" Asked Jermaine.
"Well I thought it would be cool for Gata to see some photos of the family and our adventures." Said Jake.
"Cool." Said Gata.
Jake opened up the first album and they looked at some old baby photos of himself and Jermaine. Then they turned the page and saw photos of himself and Jermaine with what appeared to be a baby Gata. The trio stared at the photos in stunned shock. Jake recalled that Gata hadn't originally been in the picture, but now she was. Whatever magic had been used to originally erase Gata from Jake and Jermaine's memory had erased her from the baby pictures, but now she was back in them. The siblings continued looking through the albums, going through several pictures, until they reached one that showed Gata's sixth birthday and then the pictures of Gata stopped.
"Whatever horrible thing happened to our family, that forced dad to seal me up in a statue, happened after I turned six." Said Gata.
"Man that magic dad used, must have been really strong. I lived with us for six years and then you vanished and we forgot about you." Said Jermaine.
"I just wish I knew what happened? Maybe it has something to do with where I came from, before I became a part of your family." Said Gata as she studied the picture of her younger self.
"Man I wish Finn was back here. He would figure out what to make of this." Said Jake.
"Me to." Said Gata as she looked out the kitchen window at the night sky.
Lightyears away on the planet, Olympia, Finn was sitting on a balcony spending time with, his mother Atalanta. Finn recalled that he brought some old pictures of his adoptive family and he decided to show them to his mom. The young hero showed his mom pictures of him, at age eight with his adopted family.
"Here's me with my brothers Jake and Jermaine, my stepmom Margaret, and my stepdad Joshua." Said Finn.
"You all look very happy together." Said Atalanta with smile.
Finn smiled as he pulled out a picture of a five year old version of himself building a pillow fort with his brothers.
"Whose that?" Asked Atalanta as she pointed at the picture.
Finn looked at the picture and saw that there was another child in the picture with periwinkle skin, fins on the side of her head, and tentacles braided back like hair, wearing a white shirt and brown pants. The boy adventurer stared at the picture of the child in confusion. He didn't recall there being another child in the picture, but now there was. As Finn studied the picture, his head began to feel fuzzy. The child in the picture appeared to be a girl and she seemed to be friends with Finn and his siblings, but Finn could only faintly recall her existence. To make matters even worse, he couldn't recall the girl's name, which annoyed him.
"I don't know...who that is." Said Finn.
"Well whoever she is it looks like your having fun together. I'm sure you'll remember her name later." Said Atalanta.
"Yeah...your right." Said Finn as he continued to study the girl in the picture.
Something about the girl was familiar to Finn, but he had no idea why.
Back on Earth, Chi was in the secret lair hanging out with Nyx, Ying, Samantha, and Alcor in a large theater like room watching a mystery murder movie. Chi was enjoying spending time with her new friends. The princess realized that she now had an actually group of friends now. For most of her life Chi had spent time with servants and underlings, they had all been loyal and did everything that Chi told them to, but that was mainly out of fear and respect to her father. That wasn't real friendship. Then Chi met Mimi, who had treated Chi like a friend and had won her love. After Mimi had ran away from her father, Chi was a little devastated, but then she traveled to another universe with plans to search for Mimi and met Nyx and the others becoming friends with them. Chi still planed to search for Mimi, but for the time being she was enjoying the company of her new friends.
The movie they were watching now featured a person with psychic powers and Chi decided to mention her own experience of using psychic powers.
"You know I have psychic powers." Said Chi.
"You do?" Asked Nyx with her eyes wide.
"I do, but they're a bit complicated. You see...I had this friend and her father was a powerful evil being. One day I snuck around my friend's father's palace and I ended up in this strange room with a bunch of weird trophies. I spotted this old blood stained knife and as I looked at it everything suddenly began to change and I saw my friend get hurt by her father with the knife, but it happened somewhere else. Next thing I knew I was back in the room with my friend's babysitter. I told him what I saw was an event that happened over a year ago. I had a vision of the past." Said Chi.
"So if a item has some kind of deep history, you can see some of it's past?" Asked Alcor.
"That's right." Said Chi.
"That's so cool!" Said Nyx.
"Thanks." Said Chi.
The movie ended and the friends decided to retire for the night. Nyx and Ying went to their room, where the piglets slept scattered about. The witch used her magic to change into some pajamas, while Nyx got into a little nest made from sticks sitting on a nightstand by the table.
"Goodnight Ying." Said Nyx as she got into bed.
Ying just caw in reply. Nyx soon fell asleep and after a while Ying got out of his nest and flew over to the door and pressed the open button. The door opened and Ying flew out into the hallway. The bird flew down the hallway, until he reached Samantha's door and pecked at it loudly with his beak. A minute later Samantha opened the door and came out into the hallway wearing blue pajama bottoms and and white tank T-shirt. The cyborg looked at Ying in confusion.
"What's up Ying, Nyx need something?"
Ying shook his head and then he pointed his beak down the hallway before he took off down it. It appeared, Ying wanted Samantha to follow him and follow him, she did. The bird pecked at Alcor's door causing him to come out wearing some black slippers, a black robe over some grey shorts, and a black shirt. Ying did the same thing he did with Samantha, before flying down the hallway and pecked on Chi's door. Chi came out wearing pink slippers, pink shorts, and a pink shirt.
"What's going on?" Yawned Chi.
"Don't know. Ying just pecked at my door and then he lead me down the hallway to yours and Alcor's rooms." Said Samantha.
"Maybe Ying is trying to show us something. He is a pretty smart bird." Said Alcor as he looked at Ying.
Ying nodded, his head and flew off down the hallway, with the others following him. They soon made it to the garage, where Ying landed on the hood of the convertible, the group had gotten from Castle Lemongrab. Samantha grabbed the keys and hopped into the driver's seat, while Alcor got into the passengers seat, and Chi got into the back seat. Ying took off flying and the car drove after him. The group left the garage and drove outside heading West. After an hour of traveling Ying stopped flying and landed on a rock nearby the ruined remains of a burnt down house. Samantha stopped the car and the others got out to look at the burnt remains of the house.
"Why would Ying take us to a place like this?" Asked Alcor.
"Wait a minute. I remember Nyx told me her old home burned down, when she was little and her parents were killed by the fire. Then Klarion showed up and saved her." Said Samantha.
"So...your saying this place is Nyx's old home?" Asked Chi.
"I think so. Is that right Ying?" Said Samantha as she looked at the raven.
The bird nodded, his head and then he looked at Chi.
"Whys he looking at me for?" Asked Chi.
"Maybe, he wants you to use your vision powers to see something in the past." Said Alcor.
"Well I guess I'll give it a shot. I never tried to anything like this and I still don't quit know, how these powers work, but I'll try." Said Chi as she walked into the ruins of the house.
At first nothing happened and all Chi saw was burnt timber, but then she saw a jagged broken bone on the ground and the princess began to feel woozy as the scene around, her began to change. Chi found herself standing in a bedroom with Nyx looking out a window. Nyx appeared to be about five years old and wore purple pajamas. Chi went over to stand by any and look out the window. The princess saw a shadowy figure standing a few hundred yards away. Chi watched as the shadowy figure vanished from sight and then air was filled by a strange roaring sound followed by an explosion that rocked the house. Nyx let out a scream as fire suddenly appeared and began to spread around the walls and celling. The child ran out of her room followed by Chi, who found herself floating off the ground. Chi watched as Nyx fled into a much larger room, where the child saw her parents standing a few yards away coughing and beating away at flames, with some towels. Nyx's parents had the same colored skin as her, the dad had black hair, and the mom had purple hair. Nyx cried out to her parents and tried to run to them, but a huge flaming chunk of the celling fell and landed on top of them, crushing them to death! The child stared at the fallen chunk of celling in stunned shock and hen she unleashed a cry of sadness and dismay.
Nyx went into the fetal position as the flames closed in on her, ready to consume her, but then they receded and in walked Klarion with a red energy field around him. The child stared up at Klarion with awe and then he offered Nyx a smile and his hand. Nyx took it and the two of them walked out of the house together as it burned.
The vision ended and Chi found herself back in the present in the remains of the burnt house, with Samantha, Ying, and Alcor standing nearby.
"What did you see?" Asked Alcor.
Chi told the others what she saw and Samantha scratched her chin in thought.
"What are you thinking?" Asked Chi.
"Well I find Klarion showing to save Nyx, when he did, to be to much of a coincidence." Said Samantha.
"Whys that?" Asked Alcor.
"Well first there was that mysterious figure that appeared outside, right before it catches on fire and then Klarion shows up, saves Nyx, and then raises her and trains her as his apprentice. I think someone caused the fire and that someone was Klarion." Said Samantha.
"Whoa now let hold on. The evidence is circumstantial at best. All we really know was that Klarion was there that night. Chi didn't see Klarion start any fires." Said Alcor.
"True, but this fire was chaotic and we know that Klarion loves causing chaos and destruction. Plus he got an apprentice out of it." Said Samantha.
"That's true, but we don't have anything concrete against him. We need to do some digging and keep a close eye on Klaron, until we figure out what truly went down." Said Alcor.
"I guess you make a good point." Said Samantha.
"Man tonight has really been something." Said Chi.
The others nodded as they all got back into the car and headed back to the lair. The events of the night ran through their minds as they thought about the future and Nyx.
At the tree fort Jake, Jermaine, and Gata were going through a crazy situation of their own.
