Chapter 192 Magical Business

As soon as the sun rose up, Jake, Jermaine, and Gata left the tree fort. Jake made a phone call to the Ice Kingdom, to tell Simon that they were coming, but got Betty instead, who told them that Simon had gone to Wizard City with Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, and Pacifica. The dog thanked Betty and hung up. Jermaine had tied some straps to the trash can that had the Thought Demon trapped inside and had it strapped to his back. The three siblings thought it was best to show Simon the demon to help explain the strange situation they were in. The group headed off towards Wizard City.
At the secret lair, Chi sat at a dinning table with Alcor and Samantha. The three of them sat silently thinking about last night's events. They knew that the fire that destroyed Nyx's home and parents was no accident. Someone had purposely started that fire and they believed that someone was Klarion, though they didn't have an hard proof yet. Samantha seemed to be very angry about the events, since she was Nyx's stepsister.
"I could just beat a confession out of that creep." Said Samantha.
"You can count me in on that." Said Chi as she pulled out one of her guns and placed it on the table.
"Samantha. Chi. Let's not do anything rash about this. Let's take a deep breath and think this over." Said Alcor.
"What do you mean? Are you saying we can't take Klarion on?" Asked Samantha looking a bit annoyed.
"No it's not that at all! I'm just saying it would be a bad idea to start something with Klarion without serious proof. If we attacked Klarion, he could play it cool and turn Nyx and the rest of the organization against us. We need to play it smart and spy on Klarion, until we have some proof, he was responsible for the fire, then we can bust him." Said Alcor.
"You got a point. I don't to hurt or go against Nyx. Fine will do a little spying first and collect evidence." Said Samantha.
"So what do we do about Nyx?" Asked Chi.
"For now will just play it cool and act normal. Nyx is still our friend and if we do find out that it was Klarion that started that fire that killed her parents, then Nyx is going to need our support." Said Alcor.
The others nodded in agreement. It was then that Nyx came skipping along with Ying flapping behind her.
"Good morning!" Said Nyx.
"Morning Nyx." Said Alcor.
"So what do you want to do today sis?" Asked Samantha.
"Oh I have a cool place we can go to!" Said Nyx excitedly.
"Where's that?" Asked Chi.
"An awesome place called Wizard City. We're going to need disguises though." Said Nyx as she waved her hands and used her magic to change her clothes and appearance.
Nyx was now dressed as a stereotypical black and purple witch outfit, with her hair in pigtails and a long fake pig nose strapped to the front of her face.
"I'm Piggy Wizard!" Said Nyx with a bow.
"Oh dress up and fake names! I'm gong to get me a costume." Said Chi as she ran off to her room.
Alcor used his powers to conjure up his star helmet and visor.
"You may call me Stat Sorcerer." He said.
Samantha carefully rolled up the fake flesh on her arms and hid it in some built in compartments on her body. The cyborg's metal arms were fully exposed. She then asked Nyx to use her magic to summon up a some paint brushes to paint, her face silver. Nyx grinned and did as she was asked. Soon Samantha's face was silver.
"I'm Metal Mage." Said Samantha.
Chi then returned wearing a black robe and shoes.
"I am Shadow Sorceress." Said Chi.
"Alright, we have our disguise let's head out to Wizard City!" Said Nyx.
The little group left the lair and headed towards Wizard City. In another part of the lair Dimentio had just changed into his Florence disguise and was taking his own little trip to Wizard City.
At the Candy Kingdom, Bubblegum was in her monitor room watching a recording of Thought Demons emerging from a portal in Gata's mouth. The video came from a hidden camera located in the tree fort's living room. Bubblegum was a bit confused as to how Gata was Finn, Jake, and Jermaine's sister, but she saw and recognized the Thought Demon. The candy monarch knew that the reappearance of the demons were only the beginning of a much larger threat. Gata was some kind of portal and her continued existence would put all of Ooo in danger.
"This threat must be dealt with at once." Said Bubblegum.
"What threat are you talking about my queen?" Asked Peppermint Butler as he walked into room carrying a tray with a cup of tea on it.
Bubblegum explained the current situation.
"So if this person presents such a great threat, why not eliminate her?" Asked Peppermint Butler.
"That's...a very drastic action. Gata...is unaware of the threat she presents to Ooo. If...I went out to eliminate her, the people of Ooo will accuse me of being a cold hearted ruler who takes the law into their own hands. Only a couple of kingdoms have remained allied to the Candy Kingdom, ever since The Cooler incident. Another drastic act could cost the Candy Kingdom the few allies we have left. Our kingdom would be isolated and there could be a huge risk of an invasion or war from another kingdom or outside forces." Said Bubblegum.
"Aren't you thinking about this to much? This isn't like the Fire Kingdom. The threat is a single individual who only a few people know. It's true Gata is an innocent person, but she presents a way for a great evil to come to Ooo and wreck havoc. It's one life versus all the lives of Ooo. Think about your people, your husband, and your children Lemongrab and Neddy. They are all in danger. A tough choice has to be made to protect them and all of Ooo." Said Peppermint Butler as he handed the teacup.
"I suppose your right. Maybe I don't have to kill Gat. Maybe I can just freeze her or put her into some kind of suspended animation, until a way to keep the portal closed is figured out." Said Bubblegum as she drank some tea.
"That could help your image and restore public relations with the other kingdoms. You must act quickly though before things get out of hand." Said Peppermint Butler.
"Your right. Thanks PB your always so helpful." Said Bubblegum as she got up and left the room.
"Always happy to help my queen." Said Peppermint Butler with a sinister smile on his face.
At Castle Lemongrab, Sir Slicer was walking with Bandit Princes, Jordan, and Mandarin. The four of them were fixing to go on a trip to Wizard City, but first they needed to gather a couple of the elite general first. The first person they got was a knight of The Order of No Quarter. The knight in question was called Specter Knight and he was a frightful sight. Specter Knight was a tall black skeletal figure, who wore a red and black robe and hood over a suit of grey brownish armor that sometimes looked yellow. In his right hand he clutched a scythe with a black and red blade.
"Are we going to get the item you promised me?" Asked Specter Knight in a raspy voice.
"Yes. It took some time, but I found it. Once I give it to you, do you swear to serve me and the forces of King?" Said Sir Slicer.
"I swear it, but be warned if you ever consider betraying or tricking me in the future, my scythe will reap you of your life. Understood?" Said Specter Knight.
"Understood." Said Sir Slicer with a nod.
"Good." Said Specter Knight.
Sir Slicer let out a sigh of relief as he and the others moved on to collect some of the other elites. Of all the elite knights of The Order of No Quarter, Sir Slicer was very weary of Specter Knight due to his past. At one point Specter Knight had once been an adventures man named Donovan. Donovan was a knight, who one time traveled the lands of Ooo alongside another knight named Luan Seatlan. The two had gone on many successful quest and adventures together and they considered each other family. Then one day that went into a magical tower to obtain a magical amulet. Things did not go well in the tower. Both knights took a great fall and crashed to the lowest level of the tower. Luna died and Donovan was fixing to join him, but an evil witch came across the dying knight and thought he would make a good servant, so she used her magic to turn him into an undead being and gave Donovan the name Specter Knight. The undead knight was forced to serve the witch for a few years, until she was killed and defeated by the hero Billy. Specter Knight was now free, but he had no place to go. During his time serving the witch, Specter Knight had hidden a small magical locket, he had gotten from Luan as a sign of their friendship. When Specter Knight went to retrieve it, it was gone. Specter Knight fail into a bit of depression and spent his days lurking in an old graveyard, until Sir Slicer sought him out and offered him a chance to join King's forces in exchange for the return of the locket. Sir Slicer had King's forces do some digging and they found out that the locket was currently in the procession of a wizard named Gentleman Wizard. Gentleman Wizard was a collector of magical objects and a member of the Magic Council. He was also a greedy opportunist. Sir Slicer realized he could gain a couple of powerful allies with a single deal. He would secure Specter Knight's loyalty with the return of the locket and he could convince Gentleman Wizard and maybe a few other wizards to form an alliance with King's forces. It was a golden opportunity for Sir Slicer.
The little group picked up another knight of The Order of No Quarter, named Plague Knight. Plague Knight was a short man, who was a skilled alchemist, that dressed in a dark green robe and hood, with a light green sash around his waist that held some pear shaped clear containers with purple liquid in them, light green shoulder pads, brown boots, and a light green crow mask that covered his face. The knight also carried a cane topped with a wooden bird head in his righthand. Plague Knight was accompanied by a green skinned women with blue hair, dressed in a black and blue dress and cape. The woman went by the name Mona and she worked loyally alongside Plague Knight.

The last two elites that were gathered were members of The Twelve Generals. The first was General Rat. General Rat was a blue rat, with big bucked teeth, beady eyes, a pink tail, and a windup key in his back, who wore dark blue pants with a big silver zipper, a blue shirt with a purple tie, with black polkadots, a watch on his left arm, and big black round glasses. The rodent specialized in being a conman and an expert in mixing chemicals and other dangerous ingredients. The other elite was General Rabbit. General Rabbit was a white furred rabbit, with a black bushy mustache, that dressed in a black tuxedo, red and black cape, red bow tie with a little watch in the center, and a top hat. The general was a skilled magician with magical powers.
With the elites gathered the group set out for Wizard City.
On the Northside of Wizard City, there were a few mansions that resembled small castles. This was where the rich upperclass wizards lived. A large blue mansion served as the home of Gentleman Wizard. Gentleman Wizard was a purple skinned man, with shaggy gray hair, and wore pointed blue hat, a yellow and blue superhero-like suit, and a mossy-looking layered green cape. He had symbols on his chest and cape that both resemble a sideways crescent moon. The rich wizard was currently sitting on his patio sipping a fruity drink, while one of his personal servants waited near by. The servant was a Celestial Spirit named Virgo. Virgo was a human looking young woman with short pink hair and blue eyes, who dressed in a typical maid outfit, consisting of a black under coat and a white, frilled-trim apron. She also had shackles around her wrist.
"Is there anything else I can get you master?" Asked Virgo.
"No your dismissed. Gate close." Said Gentleman Wizard as he held up a gold key and twisted it in the air.
Virgo vanished in a flash of light. Gentleman Wizard finished his drink and headed into his home. He made his way to his master bathroom and sat in front of a mirror. The wizard pulled out another golden key and thrust it into the air.
"Open Cancer.
A man dressed in a way reminiscent of a hairdresser appeared behind Gentleman Wizard. It was a Celestial Spirit named Cancer. Cancer had black hair braided in red cornrows that end in a shape that resembles crab's pincers. He had thick lips. Cancer wore a blue striped shirt and dark trousers with two aquamarine stripes each side, and boots on his feet. In his pants there was a ring chain in the right pocket and a hairdresser tools' bag in the left side of his belt. He also wore a golden necklace, sunglasses with green lens and carried a pair of scissors in each hand.
"Good day master Gentleman. What kind of hairstyle would you like today?" Said Cancer.
"I jut want a light trim. I have a couple of meetings today, so I want to look good." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"Who you meeting with?" Asked Cancer as he carefully trimmed the wizard's hair.
"Well first I'm meeting with some representatives from an up and rising kingdom. They wish to purchase some little magical locket I have in my collection and they want to form an alliance with me. After that I'm meeting with the Magic Council to discuss that business with the Fire Kingdom and Candy Kingdom. If you asked me its a complete waste of time. Wizards shouldn't worry about the affairs of lesser societies." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"Whatever you say sir." Said Cancer as he finished up the trim.
"You know I'm feeling a bit showy and cautious today. Perhaps I'll take Neo Tastsuji along with me just encase I need a little extra protection." Said Gentleman Wizard as he stood up.
"That guy does need to get out a little more." Said Cancer.
Gentleman Wizard closed Cancer's gate, making him vanish before setting out to get Neo. He found Neo in one of the larger rooms of the mansion practicing his sword skills against a couple of enchanted suits of armor. Neo Tastsuji was a human with white and black spiky hair, with some of it covering his right eye. His right eye was white, and his left eye was black. Neo dressed in black and white shirt and pants and a good present of the time he wore black and white orchi samurai armor over his clothes.
The wizard watched as Neo fought off the suits of armor with a katana, before he switched out and pulled out a nodachi to fight with. Gentleman Wizard though back to the day he first met the samurai a few months back. It had been a strange encounter. Gentleman Wizard was examining a large jeweled mirror in his collection, when a portal suddenly appeared in it and out flew Neo, who crashed to the ground a few feet away from Gentleman Wizard. Neo let out a groan as he stood up and looked around the room in confusion, before he spotted Gentleman Wizard and drew his katana and pointed it at the wizard and shouted something in a foreign language. Gentleman Wizard quickly summoned four suits of enchanted armor to charge in and deal with the intruder. The suits of armor were armed with spears and they thrusted them at Neo. The samurai nimbly leaped back and deflected the spears before he expertly slashed the spearheads off. The suits of armor dropped their spears and pulled out swords to fight with. One suit of armor swung it's blade at Neo, but he blocked it with his own sword and delivered a sword slash to the armor's midsection cutting the armor in half and making it topple over. Another armor charged forward and managed to knock Neo's sword from his hand and sent it clattering to the ground. The armor swung it's blade at Neo, but he dodged to the side and took a strange combat stance. Gentleman Wizard watched with a bit of awe as the man's hands began to glow faintly with some kind of energy, before he stepped forward and began to deal out blows to the armor, with his fist. Each blow put a dent in the armor causing it to crumple and stumble back. In desperation the armor lifted it's sword up and came down with a downward slice, intending to cut the human in two, but instead of that happening Neo caught the sword between, his bare hands. Neo's hands began to glow again, before he twisted them and shattered the sword to bits! The human then delivered a powerful punch to the armor's chest smashing a hole through it and made it crumble and clatter to the ground.
"Incredible. His using some kind of combat magic to increase his physical strength." Muttered Gentleman Wizard.
The last two suits of armor charged forward with their swords raised. Neo pulled out his nodachi sword and swung it with both hands. There was a slashing sound followed by a clatter at the suits of armor and their swords were slashed to bits and they fell to the ground in pieces. Neo turned from the suits of armor and faced Gentleman Wizard with his sword raised. Gentleman Wizard panicked and did the first spell that came to mind. An earth spell. Two giant hands of earth and tile rose from the ground and grabbed Neo holding him up in the air and pinned his arms to his sides. Neo struggled and shouted in his foreign language, but could not break free. Feeling confident Gentleman Wizard strolled up to the captive human and looked him in the eye.
"Who are you warrior?"
"I am Neo Tastsuji!" Said the man with slightly accented english and a glare.
"Why did you try to attack me?"
"You dress in a similar attire like the Warlock, so therefore you must be allied with him and his dark magic." Said Neo.
"I do not know of any Warlock. I am Gentleman Wizard one of the strongest and most respected wizards in all of Ooo." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"Land...of Ooo?" Asked Neo.
"It is where we are currently are. Why don't you tell me your story." Said Gentleman Wizard.
Neo told the wizard that he was from Japan. He had trained in martial arts, sword skills, the use of chi, and the powers of yin and yang. Neo had encountered a powerful evil magical being know as the Warlock and fought him. The samurai had ran his sword through the Warlock's chest piercing his heart. The Warlock fell to the ground bleeding heavily, but he managed to say a spell that conjured up a vortex that sucked Neo up and the next thing he knew was that he was flung into Gentleman Wizard's home.
Gentleman Wizard listened to the story with interest. From the sound of it the Warlock might have been trying to send Neo to limbo or some other horrible dimension, but sent the human through time instead. Gentleman Wizard was impressed by Neo's abilities and decided to recruit the samurai into his services. The wizard then explained that Neo was in the future and that he didn't know of a way to return the samurai to his own time. He did however offer him a job to serve under him saying he was a honorable lord to serve. Neo thought this over, he was a stranger to this time and he had no where to go, so he agreed to serve Gentleman Wizard.
In the present Neo finished the suits of armor off and turned to face Gentleman Wizard.
"Grab your armor and come along Neo. We have a big day and I might need you and your blades." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"Yes my lord." Said Neo as he went to strap on his armor.
The two of them left the mansion and Gentleman Wizard raised the security wards around his home before, he and his bodyguard moved on into the city. Unbeknownst to either of them two small beings had been watching them leave from their hiding place in a bush. The beings were know as Gemini were two individual twins of a single Celestial Spirit. They were both small creatures with blue colored bodies and two antennae, who also went by the individual names Mini and Gemi. The twins had small, black, beady eyes with white pupils. They both wore shorts, Mini wore orange shorts, and Gemi wore black ones. Gemi had a "^" shape for a mouth, while Mini had an "v" for a mouth. Gemi had a sash running from his left shoulder to the right side of his waist and Mini had a sash running from her right shoulder to the left side of her waist.
Gemini was a Celestial Spirit that had a contract with Angelica. The spirit had been tasked with spying on Gentleman Wizard's mansion, until he left. Gemini was then supposed to report to their master and a group of wizards she worked with. The little creatures ran off to report to Angelica.
Outside the Capitol of Wizard City, Rain sat by a fountain doing some people watching. It was then that he saw the wizard known as Simon walking towards the Capitol with four young humans behind him. Rain stared at the humans in wonder, since this was his first time seeing humans. Simon went into the Capitol followed by Dipper and Pacifica, while Mabel and Wendy hung outside. Rain took a deep breath and headed towards the two humans that had been left outside the Capitol.
"You can do this. It's just like getting your land legs. Jus use the merman charm on them and earn their trust. I just got to spy on them and report to Crimson for a little and he'll bring mom back. Do it for her." Thought Rain.
Little did anyone know that day was things were about to get chaotic in Wizard City.
