Chapter 196 Magical Mayhem

At the Wishing Wand, Jordan was at a table pocketing his communication crystal, after he got a call from Gentleman Wizard asking for his assistance with some crowd control. The fairy turned to Sir Slicer, Mandarin, General Rabbit, and Bandit Princess.
"Gentleman Wizard acquires my assistance in some big public stunt he plans to put on in the shopping district and he needs help making sure no one interfere."
"Well let's get a move on then." Said Bandit Princess.
"He specifically asked that only magic users assist him." Said Jordan.
"Can you and General Rabbit handle this?" Asked Sir Slicer.
"I can round up a few dozen of my fairies in a matter of minutes. It should be enough and I can evaluate Gentleman Wizard to see if his a worthy recruit to our side." Said Jordan before he stood up and walked out of the club followed by General Rabbit.
"Well that's lame." Said Bandit Princess.
"I suppose we should leave the city. I'll alert the others about what is happening and they can do whatever they wish." Said Sir Slicer as he stood up and pulled out a communication crystal to contact the others.
In the shopping district Plague Knight, General Rat, and Mona got the call, quickly grabbed their bags of potions and chemicals and got out of the shopping district as fast as they could. Specter Knight was still following Reize in the shopping district, when he got the message. The undead knight cast a glance and decided to follow him to keep him safe from whatever was fixing to happen in the district.
Jordan and General Rabbit arrived the shopping district with a few dozen of his fairies right behind him. The district was pack with a bunch of wizards and magic users. It appeared that Gentleman Wizard wanted a big audience for whatever he had planned. There was the sound of clanking metal and Jordan turned to see dozens of suits of enchanted armor entering the shopping district and taking up positions around the district. Jordan had a feeling that Gentleman Wizard had something to do about this.
"Just what are you planning?" Thought Jordan.
At the Capitol, Gata was sitting outside on the steps with Jake, Jermaine, Hunter Wizard, and Huntress Wizard. The little group was soon joined by Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, Pacifica, and Rain.
"So how you feeling sis?" Asked Jermaine.
"I'm feeling...fairly good. At first I was scared about what was going to happen to me, but then Simon convinced the other wizards to help me. Simon is pretty much the same in this reality as he was in my dream world. A really nice guy, who helps others." Said Gata.
"Yep that's Simon alright." Said Jake.
"So whose your new friend?" Pacifica asked Mabel as she pointed at Rain.
"Oh this is Rain. His a prince and a merman!" Said Mabel excitedly with stars in her eyes.
Dipper looked at Mabel and realized, she already had a crush on Rain. The young wizard was happy for his sister, but he also worried that she might get her heartbroken if Rain didn't return her feelings. Before anything could be said or done, Gentleman Wizard came walking down the stairs with Toadblatt, Neo, Brain Wiz, and Peace Master trailing behind him. Huntress Wizard and Hunter Wizard quickly got up and stood between Gata and the approaching wizards. Gentleman Wizard and his group stopped a few feet from Huntress Wizard's group.
"What do you want Gentleman Wizard?" Demanded Huntress Wizard.
"Why I want to destroy a potential threat before any harm comes to Ooo." Gentleman Wizard.
"The Council voted against that. I suggest you go along with their decision and walk away from whatever your planing, otherwise you'll be dealing with me." Said Huntress Wizard as she started to notch an arrow to her bow.
"Ah I see you wish to protect the little abomination, that's very nobel of you. Misguided, but nobel. I really don't want to hurt the Grand Master Wizard's granddaughter, but I will if you insist on standing in my way from saving Ooo from the Demon Queen." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"You really got some nerve talking to her like that. Huntress Wizard is more then capable of fighting you off and she's got me to back her up." Said Hunter Wizard.
"Ah but your dealing with more than just me. Though I believe I'm more then capable of dealing with the two of you and your little group. You should just step aside and let me do what needs to be done. My intentions are nobel and it's really for the best. You have my word that the girl won't feel a thing." Said Gentleman Wizard as his hands crackled with dark purple magical energy.
"Not going to happen pal." Said Jermaine.
"Yeah creep. You mess with our sister you mess with us." Said Jake.
"Ah how touching. The dogs are willing to protect the monster. It almost brings a tear to my eyes. Doesn't matter though. Because one way or another that girl will die by my hands, but first a change of scenery is in order. This kind of thing requires an audience." Said Gentleman Wizard as he snapped his fingers.
There was a flash of light and everyone was teleported to the heart of the shopping district. A bunch of shoppers were surprised by the group's sudden appearance and stared at them in confusion. Bubblegum and her guards were among the crowd, along with Nyx's group, Dimentio in his disguise, Reize, and Specter Knight. Gentleman Wizard glanced around at the crowd and saw his suits of enchanted armor, along with General Rabbit, Jordan, and several fairies. The wizard grinned with satisfaction.
"What's going on?" Whispered Hunter Wizard to Huntress Wizard.
"I'm not sure yet, but it can't be anything good." Muttered Huntress Wizard.
"What should we do?" Asked Dipper.
"All of you stay behind us and keep close." Said Huntress Wizard as she kept her eyes on Gentleman Wizard.
Dipper nodded and he and the others got together in a circle, with Gata in the middle ready to spring into action.
In the crowd, Nyx, Ying, Samantha, and Alcor stared at Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, and Pacifica in shock.
"What is going on?" Asked Samantha.
"I don't know, but it can't be good. That weird purple is giving me a bad vibe." Said Alcor as his eyes lingered on Wendy with a look of concern.
"That purple guy looks like a snob. I hate snobs!" Said Nyx.
Ying cawed something and a big grin appeared on Nyx's face.
"That's a great idea, we should pelt that guy with hate cake. I'll be hilarious!"
"So we going to get involved in whatever this is?" Asked Chi.
"Let's see what's going on, before we do anything." Said Samantha.
"Alright, but just so you know, I left my guns back at the lair, so the only weapon I have on me right now is a dagger." Said Chi as she pulled out a dagger.
"Don't you have shapeshifting powers?" Asked Nyx.
"Yeah, but I really can't change into anything big, just things my size or smaller." Said Chi looking a little bit embarrassed by her lack of power.
"Hey it's still a cool power and you can do cool things with it." Said Nyx.
"Thanks." Said Chi cheering up a little.
"Look if things start going crazy you three stay close to me and Alcor." Said Samantha.
Nyx, Ying, and Chi nodded in understanding.
Gentleman Wizard waved his hands in the air and a bunch of giant floating screens appeared in the air above showing his face. Bubblegum decided to quickly intervene in whatever Gentleman Wizard was planning to do and made her way through the crowd and to the front followed by her guards.
"As Queen of the Candy Kingdom I order you to stop what your doing!" Ordered Bubblegum.
"And what is it you think I'm doing?" Asked Gentleman Wizard as he looked at Bubblegum.
"Well it's quit obvious that your planning to kill Gata because of her portal ability and the threat it presents." Said Bubblegum.
Gentleman Wizard's group and Huntress Wizard's group were a bit startled and confused by this answer. Gata was especially confused by this since, she never met Bubblegum in this reality nor told her about the portal problem.
"How...do you know my name and how do you know about my portal ability?" Said Gata as she looked at Bubblegum.
"I...um heard it from...um Simon." Said Bubblegum quickly as she realized she had said a bit to much.
Gata studied Bubblegum and saw a tiny bead of sweat trickle down her forehead. The candy ruler was lying about how she knew about Gata. The girl studied Bubblegum and thought how she could have possibly gotten that information. Then she had it.
"Were you spying on my brothers in their home?" Demanded Gata.
"WHAT?! Why would you make such an accusation?" Said Bubblegum looking a little startled.
"Well for starters your very paranoid and very good at lying to people. Secondly your one of the few super smart people in Ooo that's capable of building tiny surveillance devices and hiding them in people's homes." Said Gata.
There was some muttering from the assembled crowd and Jake looked at Bubblegum with suspicious eyes.
"That doesn't prove...anything." Said Bubblegum looking a bit pale.
"Yeah, but here's another thing. I met Simon a few hours ago and told him about my portal problem, I was with him a good while and during that time I never saw him make an calls using phones or crystals, so he didn't tell you about me. Not to mention that if he did somehow contact you, you wouldn't be Wizard City right now, due to the distance between here and the Candy Kingdom. You would have been here about an hour later if Simon had called you. So this proves that you were lying, when you said you weren't spying on my brothers in the tree fort." Said Gata as she pointe an accusing finger at Bubblegum.
"When you put that way...it all makes sense." Said Dipper.
"I think Gideon pulled something like this back in Gravity Falls." Said Pacifica.
"Bubblegum is this...true?" Asked Jake.
"It...is. Look I only have cameras in your house...to make sure your safe and sound. If you got into any trouble I could send help. I...know it might seem bad, but I'm only looking out for you and Finn's wellbeing. You have to believe me." Said Bubblegum as she looked at Jake and the others with pleading eyes.
"So there more cameras scattered around Ooo spying on people." Said Gata with a glare.
Bubblegum was utterly stunned by how Gata could come up with such a conclusion so quickly. Before the candy ruler could speak, she heard a bunch of noise from behind and turned to she her guards being grabbed by suits of armor and fairies. Slush managed to get free and tried to blast Gentleman Wizard with, his freeze gun, but a blast of wind knocked him to the ground and knocked his gun away. Gentleman Wizard turned to see Cyclo standing nearby with Wizard Thief and Berdzerd. Cyclo gave Gentleman Wizard a thumbs up as a couple suits of armor grabbed Bubblegum. The three wizards weren't sure what was going on, but they were opportunist. Bubblegum struggled, but couldn't break free from her captors and she was to emotionally distressed to consider using her elemental powers. Bubblegum looked around at the crowd and saw a few people whispering to each other and pointing at her, with glares in their eyes. This was going really bad for Bubblegum.
In the Candy Kingdom, Crimson sat in the monitor room in his servant disguise watching the events in Wizard City play out. Crimson let out a chuckle as he watched Gata figure out that Bubblegum had been spying on the tree fort and various parts of Ooo. Oh this was turning out nicely.
"Ah my queen you are smart, but so easy to manipulate. Now a bunch of wizards are aware that your spying on them and when you try to deny it, you and your monitor room will be exposed and everything will begin to fall apart." Said Crimson with a twisted grin.
Back at Wizard City, Gentleman Wizard decided to start things up.
"Now that little drama is played out its time for the main event." Said Gentleman Wizard as he glowed with dark purple magic.
"This looks like a publicity stunt." Muttered Huntress Wizard.
"Attention people of Wizard City, I have something important to tell you. Just less then an hour ago, the Council learned of the existence of a terrible threat. Many of you recall the Demon Queen and how she destroyed the Magician Kingdom and tried to do the same to the rest of Ooo. The Demon Queen was banished to another dimension by the Council, however it was just learned she secretly created a daughter, who has the ability to open a portal to the dimension the Demon Queen was banished to and bring her back." Said Gentleman Wizard as the screens displayed his face, followed by an image of the Demon Queen, and finally Gata.
"The Council has voted to let the child live, despite knowing the threat she presents to us all. I and a few of my fellow Council members have taken upon ourselves to tell you the truth and do what has to be done. The child is evil and she desires to release her mother to wreck havoc on us all!" Said Gentleman Wizard.
"That's a load of baloney!" Yelled Jake.
"Gata isn't evil and she has no desire to free her mom. She wants nothing to do with her period!" Yelled Jermaine.
"Oh those poor creatures are already being deceived by the girl's evil magic." Said Gentleman Wizard with mock sadness.
"I can't believe three are siding with this! Your members of the Council for Glob's sake!" Said Huntress Wizard as she glared at Peace Master, Brain Wiz, and Toadblatt.
"The threat must be eliminated. It is only logical." Said Brain Wiz.
Toadblatt just shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm trying to protect my children." Said Peace Master.
"Will you be able to look at your children the same way, after you take the life of an innocent child?" Asked Huntress Wizard as she glared at Peace Master.
Peace Master looked away from Huntress Wizard's piercing glare. Gentleman Wizard just scoffed at Huntress Wizard.
"This is going to happen regardless of what you say. Now if you excuse me I have a vile beast to kill and a world to save." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"You know what, to heck with this! I'm putting an arrow in this jerk!" Declared Hunter Wizard as he notched an arrow to his bow and fired it at Gentleman Wizard.
The arrow flew towards Gentleman Wizard, but Neo stepped in and snatched the arrow out of the air a few feet from it's intended target, with incredible reflexes. The samurai held the arrow in a glowing hand and it sparked a little, before he dropped it to the ground.
"Good job Neo." Said Gentleman Wizard with a grin on his face.
"That guy caught my arrow and canceled out the magic in it!" Gasped Hunter Wizard.
"Let's not delay this any longer." Said Gentleman Wizard as he prepared to launch an attack.
"Ok we need to get involved. We're not just going to stand around and watch a person get killed." Said Samantha.
"We need some kind of distraction." Said Alcor.
"Leave it to me! Time for a hate cake!" Said Nyx as her hands glowed with purple energy and she waved them in the air.
At that moment a large strange looking dark colored cake appeared over Gentleman Wizard's head. The wizard had only a few seconds to stare up at the cake in confusion, before it slammed down on him and covered him in slime, dirt, cobwebs, and bugs. The crowd stared at the caked wizard in shock and then they burst out laughing. Gentleman Wizard angrily clawed and wiped at the foul stuff covering him.
"Get the girl and destroy whoever gets in your way!" Snarled Gentleman Wizard as he continued to try and rid himself of the gunk that covered him.
The enchanted armors charged forward, with Cyclo, Wizard Thief, Berdzerd, Neo, Brain Wiz, Peace Master, and Toadblatt. The fairies and General Rabbit were fixing to charge in, but Jordan stopped them with a raised hand.
"We're here to look after the crowd. Let Gentleman Wizard deal with this." Said Jordan.
The others nodded and watched the scene unfold before them.
Hunter Wizard and Huntress Wizard fired arrow after arrow into the charging armors. Pacifica joined in with her own arrows and Dipper zapped at the armors with star light. Nyx and her group joined the fray and caused some confusion and chaos in the enemy ranks. Toadblatt marched through the battle and saw Gata with Jake, Jermaine, Mabel, and Rain.
"It looks like I'll get the honor in killing the monster." Said Toadblatt as he raised his arms up and conjured up a massive sphere of water and hurled it at the group.
Rain saw it coming and raised his arms up and tried to use his own magic to stop the attack, but Toadblatt's powers were to great and he only managed to slow the sphere down a little. Toadblatt laughed as his sphere moved forward. Chi happened to be nearby and saw this.
"Oh...what do I do? I need to get this guy to lose focus, but if I try to go at him with my dagger, he'll see me coming. Guess I'll have to use my powers. Wait I know just the thing to do!" Thought Chi as she changed into a two foot long cobra.
The cobra Chi slithered it's way towards Toadblatt and wrapped itself around his leg letting out a hiss. Toadblatt looked down at his leg in confusion and his eyes went wide in terror as he saw the cobra. The snake gave a mischievous smile, before going up the wizard's robe. Toadblatt screamed in terror and ran around beating frantically at his robe. The sphere of water exploded and made the ground wet.
"Well that was lucky." Said Jermaine.
"You did a good job holding that attack off, Rain." Said Mabel with a smile.
"Um...thanks." Said Rain as he blushed a little.
Nyx was with Ying and was using her powers to conjur up pies and piñatas full of slime to hurl at the armors, when she spotted Toadblatt jumping around and screaming. The witch zapped the ground in front of Toadblatt making a banana peel appear in front of him. Toadblatt stepped on it and slipped crashing onto his back and laid there groaning. Chi slithered out from the top of the rope and went over to Nyx and changed back into her normal form.
"That was awesome! Told you your powers were cool and useful." Said Nyx.
"I guess you were right." Said Chi.
"You little brats are going to pay for that!" Snarled Berdzerd as he appeared before the two girls, his hands glowing with blue energy.
Nyx, Ying, and Chi's eyes widened in fright at the wizard. They had wandered away from Samantha and Alcor, so they wouldn't be able to rescue them and they couldn't use any of their abilities to quickly take down Berdzerd before he attacked. The wizard grinned as he prepared to attack, when a crystal boomerang came flying in from behind and struck Berdzerd in the back of the heading knocking him into a daze heap onto the ground. The boomerang flew back and the girls and bird watched it fly back into the hands of Reize. The boy caught it and gave the girls a smile.
"Knight's Code, first vow: Always help a person in need! Especially damsels in distress!" Said Reize with a wink before he went off to fight some more armors.
Nyx was blushing heavily as she watched Reize run away to do some more fighting. Chi couldn't help, but smile at her friend as she recalled the time Mimi saved her from danger.
Reize was taking down some more armors, when an armor armed with a crossbow tried to take to shoot him in the back, but Specter Knight suddenly appeared from behind and sliced the armor to bits with his scythe. Specter Knight watched Reize move on with taking on more armors before he continued to follow him.
Bubblegum was still being held by some armors as she watched the fighting. Dimentio who was in the crowd decided to lend the princess and her guards a hand. The magician used his magic to conjure up a bunch of vines that wrapped around the armors and fairies and freed Bubblegum and her forces. Slush and the gingerbread guards went charging in to join in on the fight, while Bubblegum just watched unsure what to do. Jordan and General Rabbit went about freeing the fairies trapped by the vines as they continued to watch the fight.
Samantha found herself facing off against Cyclo. The wizard blasted at her with wind in an attempt to blow her away, but Samantha used her super strength to keep herself anchored to the ground and stomp through the wind storm towards Cyclo. The cyborg reached Cyclo and delivered a punch to his face knocking him to the ground in a dazed heap.
"Your nothing, but a big windbag." Said Samantha as she went off to fight some armors.
Hunter Wizard was facing off against Neo. The wizard fired arrow after at Neo, who deflected them with his katana as he charged forward. Neo reached Hunter Wizard and took a swing at him, but the wizard dove to the side and quickly rolled to his feet firing another arrow at Neo. The samurai just deflected it and went after the wizard again. It seemed like the two would keep going at it until one of them made a mistake.
Huntress Wizard knocked Wizard Thief to the ground with an exploding magic arrow before going off to fight some armors.
Wendy was fending some armors off with her ax, when a particular large armor knocked her to the ground and raised a large battle ax over it's head and prepared to bring it smashing down on the teen. Wendy let out a panicked cry and closed her eyes, but instead of feeling an ax smash down on her, she heard a loud crash instead. The teenager opened her eyes and saw Alcor standing in front of her blocking the ax with, his cane.
"Alcor!" Exclaimed Wendy with both surprise and delight.
"Hello Wendy, seems you were having some trouble, so I decided to step in and give a little assistance. Now just give me a moment and I'll help you up." Said Alcor as he shoved up against the armor.
The armor was shoved back and Alcor's cane was glowing blue as he swung it at the armor. There was a slashing sound as the armor fell to the ground split in half. Alcor turned to Wendy and offered, his hand to her. Wendy took it and Alcor helped her up.
"Thanks for that. That was pretty cool." Said Wendy.
"Your welcome." Said Alcor with a smile.
"So are you some kind of wizard?" Asked Wendy.
"Not exactly. I'm a magical being, but I'm not a wizard. I just happened to be visiting this city with some friends, when we saw the little stunt that Gentleman Wizard was putting on and we decided to help." Said Alcor.
"More like Jerk Wizard now. Thanks for help man." Said Wendy.
"No problem. Now why don't we work together to beat these guys." Said Alcor.
"Sounds good to me." Said Wendy as the two of them went charging into battle.
Gata was with Jake and Jermaine, who were doing their best to fend off the armors and protect her. Brain Wiz went towards the group telling them how illogical it was for them to fight and that Gata should be destroyed, when a bucket of ice water appeared over his head and dumped itself over him. The wizard fell to the ground screaming he had a brain freeze, while Nyx, Ying, and Chi stood a few feet away and laughed and cheered. Gata chuckled at the scene and smiled at her unknown allies. Then she stepped on something hard and looked down to see Slush's freeze gun.
"Just what I need." Said Gata as she picked the gun up.
Gata took careful aim and blasted some armors with the gun freezing them in ice.
"Hey that's my gun! Give it back!" Yelled Slush as he charged at Gata.
"No. And this is for the Fire Kingdom." Said Gata as she blasted Slush and froze everything, but his head.
"Not...cool!" Shivered Slush.
The battle raged on. Pacifica thought it was time to call on some serious help and pulled out one of, her golden keys.
"Taurus!" She shouted as the key began to glow and she twisted it.
Taurus appeared in a flash of light ready to battle with his ax.
"You trying to attack Pacifica? That's bull! She is a fine girl who will grow and develop into a beautiful women with great features! Her body will be the best! It ain't BULL!" Yelled Taurus as he charged at the armors and began to take them down.
"You go!" Cheered Pacifica, though she did look a little embarrassed about what the spirit had said.
"Man...that guy is such a pervert, but at least his on our side." Muttered Dipper.
Gentleman Wizard had just finished cleaning himself, when he saw Taurus.
"Celestial Spirits huh? I must admit I'm impressed, but your not the only one with that kind of power. Virgo!" Said Gentleman Wizard as he pulled out a golden key and twisted it.
Virgo appeared in a flash of light and bowed before Gentleman Wizard.
"His got Celestial Spirits?" Asked Pacifica looking shocked.
"Virgo I command you to beat that oversized bull. He'll make a nice addition to my collection." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"Yes master." Said Virgo as she charged at Taurus.
"I'm really not comfortable with fighting a fellow Celestial Spirit, but if your master threatens my master then I have no choice!" Bellowed Taurus as he swung, his ax at Virgo.
Virgo dodged out of the way and a chain grew from one of her shackles and she swung it Taurus's face. Taurus quickly raised his arm up to shield his face and the chain wrapped around it. The two then engaged in a tug-o-war with the chain. Taurus let out a grunt and sent Virgo flying into the air above. Virgo did a flip and landed on her feet a few yards away from Taurus.
"Your strong Virgo, but I'm stronger then you." Said Taurus as he turned to face Virgo.
"That may be true, but you have one major weakness. Virgo change into something a little more comfortable, some beach attire will do." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"As you wish master." Said Virgo.
There was a flash of light and Virgo was now wearing a two piece black swimsuit that showed her curves and a good deal of cleavage. Taurus stared at Virgo with hearts in his eyes as his mouth hung open and began to drool.
"Taurus get a hold of yourself! Your letting your guard down!" Cried Pacifica.
Taurus didn't seem to hear her and continued to stare at Virgo. The pink haired spirit slammed her right fist into the ground and a few seconds later the ground between Taurus's legs exploded and a chain slammed into, his groin!
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa! This BULLING hurts!" Cried Taurus as he fell to the ground hands on the wounded area.
A bunch of armors sprung into action and began to pound on Taurus. A look of panic appeared on Pacifica's face as she quickly pulled out the golden key and twisted in the air.
"Lock!" She shouted and Taurus vanished.
"Now that the bull is gone, Virgo I want you to get that girl's keys and bring them to me." Said Gentleman Wizard.
Virgo nodded as she changed into her regular clothes and started to head towards Pacifica. Pacific panicked and pulled out another key.
"Open Polaris!" She shouted as she twisted the key.
There was a flash of light and a enormous pink metal bear that stood on it's hind legs, with blue eyes, and a yellow handkerchief appeared in the area.
"You think that'll stop me? Time to bulk up Virgo." Said Gentleman Wizard.
Virgo's body quickly expanded and became thick and muscular. Her arms were huge and almost gorilla like, her face became ugly, and her hair turned into pigtails. The transformation had only taken a few seconds and now Virgo was almost as big as Polaris. Virgo let out a roar as she swung two big chains at Polaris and began to dish out blows. Polaris raised his front paws and blocked the attack, but the force of it still sent him crashing back.
"Polaris!" Cried Pacifica with concern.
Polaris lowered his arm and a hatch opened up inside, his chest. The hatch held a honey pot with a straw in it and Polaris grabbed it. The bear drank from it and his body glowed with a faint blue light as he put the pot away. Virgo swung her chains at Polaris, but this time he caught them with his paws. Polaris pulled on the chains and Virgo went flying towards him. The bear slammed a fist into Virgo and sent her flying into the air. Virgo changed into her normal form and cashed to the ground a few feet from Gentleman Wizard.
"Way to go Polaris!" Cheered Pacifica.
Polaris thrusted his paws in the air in victory.
"Master..." Groaned Virgo.
"You stupid worthless creature! I gave you one task and you failed me!" Snarled Gentleman Wizard as he stamped his foot down on Virgo's back repeatedly.
"Stop that!" Cried Pacifica angrily.
"Oh and why should I do that?" Asked Gentleman Wizard.
"Because you shouldn't treat the people who work for you like that. Virgo is a living being and deserves to be treated better!" Yelled Pacifica.
"This thing is a object and it should be honored to serve me. It exists only to serve me. That is the purpose of a Celestial Spirit." Said Gentleman Wizard with a sneer as he twisted his key in the air and made Virgo vanish.
"Your wrong. Celestial Spirits are more then just servants." Said Pacifica as she twisted her own key and made Polaris vanish.
"As much fun as debating the purpose of Celestial Spirits sounds, I have other businesses to attend to. Do it Peace Master." Said Gentleman Wizard.
Peace Master sprung into action and placed a paper talisman on the foreheads of Jake and Jermaine causing them to fall to the ground. The two dogs tried to get up, but were unable to move their limbs. Peace Master faced Gata, who pointed her freeze gun at the wizard, but then lowered it.
"Enough. I want all this fighting to stop. I don't want to see...any of my friends or family get hurt. Just get it done." Said Gata.
"Sis no! Don't give up!" Cried Jake.
"I have to. Your in this mess because of me and I'm not going to let you guys or anyone else get hurt because of me. You've protected me so far and did a ton of nice things for me. Now it's my turn to return the favor." Said Gata.
"What a touching speech. Now bring her to me Peace Master." Said Gentleman Wizard.
Peace Master looked at Gentleman Wizard, the back at Gata.
"No."
"What did you say?" Asked Gentleman Wizard.
"I won't bring her to you. I can tell this girl has a righteous selfless heart. The fact that she would willingly hand herself over to us to protect her friends proves it. I cannot in good conscience murder a person like that. Gata may be a portal for a dangerous force, but she is also a living being. The Council will figure out a way to help her. It was foolish of me to go along with your plan and if you continue forward with it, then I will stand against you." Said Peace Master.
"You worthless backstabbing traitor!" Snarled Gentleman Wizard as he hurled a purple ball of energy at Peace Master.
The ball slammed into Peace Master and sent him crashing into one of the stalls with a terrible crash. Everyone stopped fighting to stare at Gentleman Wizard. Brain Wiz, who had just recovered from the ice water stared at Gentleman Wizard in disbelief.
"That action of yours was highly rash. Peace Master was a fellow Council member!" Said Brain Wiz.
"Peace Master was a traitor and an obstacle that needed to be moved. I will do what I see fit to eliminate that girl and I will takedown anyone, who stands in my way. I'm one of the strongest wizards in the city and I will do as I please!" Declared Gentleman Wizard.
"Your truly a despicable creature. You no longer have a right to be on the Council!" Said Huntress Wizard.
"Well there's fixing to be some changes around here. The Council is lead by weak foolish wizards, who lack the grit to take the world and shape it. I will rectify that and bring forth a new golden age and if I had to kill some people then so be it. A part of me will take immense satisfaction in purging the weak and foolish." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING!" Boomed a voice from above.
There was a cold breeze in the air and everybody looked up to see Simon descend from the sky with his arms crossed and a stern look on his face. Huntress Wizard, Dipper, and the others smiled with joy as they saw the ice wizard. Gentleman Wizard just smirked nastily at Simon as he landed a few yards from him.
"So you finally show up. This saves me the trouble of finding you and taking you down. As an added bonus I have an audience to witness my soon to be victory over you and proof that I'm a superior wizard. Then I'll deal with that abomination and anyone, who tries to protect her." Said Gentleman Wizard.
"The Council voted on not destroying Gata and yet you went behind our backs and attempted to do it in a public place. You even went so far to attack anyone, who tried to protect her. A truly despicable action." Said Simon.
"I don't care what the others voted for. The girl is a threat and must be destroyed. I gave those fools a chance to step aside, but they refused. Now it looks like you'll be suffering along with them." Said Gentleman Wizard.
Simon glared at Gentleman Wizard and then cast a look at Dipper and gave him and his group a faint smile.
"You did a good job this day Dipper. You and the others held up against incredible odds and kept the life of an innocent person safe. You should all be proud of what you have accomplished this day." Said Simon.
"Ah aren't those sweet departing words. Let's settle this and see which of us is truly the strongest." Said Gentleman Wizard as his body glowed with dark purple magic.
"Very well then." Said Simon as his hands crackled with magic and body gave off a faint white light.
Both wizards flew at each other unleashing powerful blast of magic at each other. The blast collided with one another and let out a thunderous boom that shook the shopping district. Gentleman Wizard fired several blast of dark magic at Simon, who conjured up an ice shield in midair that blocked the attack. Simon then spun the shield with an incredible amount of force and sent it flying at Gentleman Wizard. Gentleman Wizard shattered the shield to bits with a wave of dark magic and then fired a powerful blast of magic at Simon, who countered with a magic blast of his own. The two attacks collided and unleashed a powerful shockwave. Both Simon and Gentleman Wizard were pushed several feet back by the attack. The two wizards stare at one another, neither showing an signs of being tired or winded.
"I have to say I'm impressed. You have a lot of power at your command Gentleman Wizard, there's no denying that, but your misusing it for your own personal gain." Said Simon.
"What is this a lecture?" Taunted Gentleman Wizard.
"You could have been a good role model for the younger generation, but instead you became a example of what not to do." Said Simon.
"You dare talk down to me!" Snarled Gentleman Wizard.
"I'm putting an end to this, but I will show you the same curtsey you showed my disciple and the others. You'll have till the count of three to do exactly as I say. Kneel before me and surrender." Said Simon.
"You expect me to kneel and conceive defeat? No way in HELL!" Said Gentleman Wizard.
Simon didn't seem to be paying to much attention to Gentleman Wizard as he held his hands a few inches apart and a ball of white magic appeared between them.
"Three!"
"Why should one of the strongest wizards kneel before you? Technically we are both equally powerful, but my nature to be heartless makes me even stronger!" Declared Gentleman Wizard as his hands glowed brightly with purple magic.
"Two!"
"You should be the one kneeling and surrounding to me! Now you are going to die along with anyone who dares opposes me!" Shouted Gentleman Wizard.
"One!"
"This is it!" Shouted Gentleman Wizard as he blasted two beams of magic at Simon.
"Times up." Said Simon as he clapped both his hands together on the ball of light.
Gentleman Wizard's attacks just stopped in midair before Simon and disintegrated. A powerful light seemed to be coming from Simon as he stared Gentleman Wizard down. A look of utter disbelief appeared in Gentleman Wizard's which quickly changed into a look of panic.
"I invoke Wizard Law." Said Simon as a light began to spread from him and cover the area.
The light engulfed Gentleman Wizard and spread out a few feet. The armors then began to disintegrate into nothing. Neo was awed and startled by this.
"What happening?" Asked Dipper as he looked at Huntress Wizard.
"This is Wizard Law. It's one of the most powerful and legendary spells in existence. It dispels evil and only harms those who the caster see as their enemy. It's truly something to behold." Said Huntress Wizard.
The light cleared and vanished revealing Simon and Gentleman Wizard. Simon was perfectly fine, while Gentleman Wizard looked the worse for wear. Gentleman Wizard's clothes were faded, his hair was white and he looked old, emaciated, and very frightened. The wizard had a look of pure terror on his face and his body shook like a leaf.
"You will never bother Gata or anyone here ever again, understand. If you do I will not show you any mercy." Said Simon with a stern look.
Gentleman Wizard just stuttered in fear.
"Master Simon won!" Cheered Dipper and the others began to cheer.
Simon then turned to Neo with a calm and softer look on his face.
"Would you kindly take Gentleman Wizard back to his home." Said Simon.
Neo just nodded and went over to the cowering wizard. They were fixing to move on, when Huntress Wizard appeared before them holding a paper with some writing on it and a pen.
"Sign this." She said as she held the paper up and handed the pen to Gentleman Wizard.
Gentleman Wizard took the pen in a shacking hand and signed the papers. Huntress Wizard took the pen and reached into Gentleman Wizard's pocket taking his two gold keys.
"Your contracts have been canceled. Don't worry I'll give these to a good owner." Said Huntress Wizard as she turned and walked towards Pacifica.
Simon was looking at Alcor, Samantha, Nyx, Ying, and Reize.
"I don't know who any of you are, but you have my thanks for helping my apprentice and friends." Said Simon with a bow.
Nyx and her group gave a bow, before heading out of the market. Alcor gave Wendy one final glance before leaving with the others. Reize just gave a thumbs up and walked away. Cyclo, Wizard Thief, and Berdzerd ran out of the area as fast as they could.
"Well this was a waste of time. Gentleman Wizard was a fool. Let's return to Castle Lemongrab." Said Jordan as he left the area followed by General Rabbit, the fairies, and Specter Knight.
Brain Wiz stood with a wounded Peace Master and Toadblatt. All three stood before Simon looking guilty.
"You three and your actions will be judged by the Council. I suggest you think about what you have done before that." Said Simon.
The three wizards nodded. Hunter Wizard was removing the paper talismans from Jake and Jermaine's heads, when they noticed Gata was no where in sight.
"Where's Gata?" Asked Jake.
There was a disturbance from the crowd and everyone turned to see Gata on the back of Bubblegum's robotic swan. Jake and Jermaine called to her, but she only gave them a sad look before she made the swan take flight into the air.
Gata held onto the swan as she steered it towards the nearest exit. The incident in the market had shown Gata the danger her existence brought to the people she cared about. Gata needed to find the magic item her stepfather had used on her and use it on herself. If that somehow failed, there was always option B. Gata looked at the freeze gun in her pocket and shivered a little. If things didn't go over so well, Gata planned to use the gun to end her own life. She was determined to protect her brothers and friends no matter what the cost was.
