Chapter 199 Meditation

On planet Olympia, Iroh was sitting in a garden, with Ling and Mimi. The three were doing some meditation. Back in her home universe, Mimi had watched Raven meditate and on one occasion, she joined in. Mimi wanted to learn more about meditation to help her focus and increase her psychic powers. It also made her calm and relaxed. Iroh was more then happy to teach Mimi mediation. The three of them were practicing some breathing exercises, when Finn arrived in the garden. Iroh sensed Finn's presence and opened his eyes.
"That's enough meditating for today. Now why don't you go have some free time and enjoy yourselves." Said Iroh.
Ling and Mimi stood up and gave Iroh a bow before leaving. Iroh beckoned Finn to sit with him and asked what was on his mind.
"Well recently I've been having these weird flashbacks of this girl, who was my stepsister back on Ooo. I remember hanging with, her when I was really little, but not much else. She's shown up in a few old pictures I had, but...I can't remember her name. My mom suggested meditation might help me." Said Finn.
"Let's see what we can do. I need you to close your eyes and focus on your childhood experience with this girl. Think of nothing else." Said Iroh.
Finn did as he was instructed. The young hero went deep into his subconscious and found a memory of himself as a young child sleeping in a bed at his parents country home. Jake, Jermaine, and the girl were also asleep in the room in separate beds. The child Finn was half awake and looking over at the girl. There seemed to be a faint light coming from the girl's face and her mouth was open, when suddenly the bedroom door was pushed open and a strange creature that resembled a brain came running in.
"A Thought Demon!" Thought Finn as he watched the creature scuttle to the girl, dive into her mouth, and disappear.
Both Finn and the child Finn were startled by this and so was Joshua who appeared in the doorway. Joshua walked over to the girl and looked in her mouth at something.
"Man...I don't believe it. Looks like I'm going to have to do a little diving into the great unknown. You just sit tight Gata, daddy is going to get to the bottom of things." Said Joshua.
"Her name is Gata." Said Finn as he finally got a name for his stepsister.
Joshua dived into Gata's mouth and vanished. Finn and child Finn stared at Gata not sure what to do. A fe minutes later, Joshua popped out of Gata's mouth with a freaked out expression on his face. Joshua took a deep breath to calm himself as he went over to Gata and closed her mouth causing the strange light to go off.
"This...is serious. I know what's going on isn't your fault Gata and I'll figure out a way to fix it, so you don't have to worry about it." Whispered Joshua to the sleeping child before leaving the room.
Child Finn was curious about what was going on, so he got out of bed and snuck out of the room followed by the older Finn. He saw Joshua and Margaret in the kitchen having a whispered conversation, but neither Finn could hear what they were saying. There then was a loud thudding noise from behind and both Finn's turned to see a strange horrible sight. It was Gata in a strange sleep like state, with her eyes glowing white and her mouth hanging open with a red swirling portal in it and out of it stuck a massive clawed hand and arm. The arm reached out dragging itself forward and bringing the sleeping form of Gata along with it. The portal seemed to waver and a demonic head began to stick out of it. The head looked at child Finn and grinned evilly at him. The child screamed out in terror and ran into the kitchen. Joshua and Margaret turned to see the screaming child and the thing he was running from.
"Oh my Glob! It found it's way out!" Cried Joshua as he grabbed a sword hanging on the wall to defend against the threat.
"Get behind me and daddy!" Said Margaret to Finn as she pulled out a crossbow.
The child did as he was instructed and got behind his parents. The demon dragged itself and Gata forward and then it sniffed the air.
"Ah the scent of dog and fear. The very things that lead me right to the portal." Said the demon.
"Who are you and what's with the portal in Gata's mouth?" Demanded Joshua.
"I am the Demon Queen the former ruler of the Magician Kingdom and one of the most feared beings in Ooo. As for the portal in this child, it was a contingency plan to free me from my prison and take my revenge on Ooo! Since I'm fixing to be free I will soon have no need for the child, so I'll just destroy her." Said Demon Queen.
"I won't let you harm Gata!" Yelled Margaret as she fired her crossbow at the Demon Queen.
The arrow struck the arm and pierced it, but it did nothing more then annoy the evil being.
"You shall be the first to bare witness to my return and the honor of perishing at my hands!" Declared Demon Queen as she tried to pull more of her body through the portal.
Joshua charged at the Demon Queen swinging, his sword at the demon's head, but she blocked it with her claws and pushed the dog back. Margaret fired a bolt from her crossbow and it struck the Demon Queen in the forehead making her shout with pain and anger. Joshua tried to attack the wound villain, but she swatted him to the side and dragged herself towards Margaret. Child Finn looked past his mom and at the Demon Queen and Gata. The child took a deep breath and ran past his mom and towards the demon and his sister. The Demon Queen was a bit surprised by the charging child, but before she could do anything, child Finn darted past her and was next to Gata grabbing her by the shoulders and began shacking her.
"GATA WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Said child Finn.
Gata began to blink and wake up.
"WHAT?! NNNNOOOOO! I was so CLOSE!" Screamed Demon Queen as her head and arm were sucked back into the portal and it vanished.
Gata blinked her eyes in confusion and smacked her lips a couple of times before a look of disgust appeared on her face.
"What happened?" Asked Gata.
The child Finn hugged Gata, who at first was confused, but she returned the hug. Joshua looked at Gata with a thoughtful look as if he was contemplating a big decision and his expression showed he didn't like what his mind came up with.
The vision then ended and Finn found himself back in the garden with Iroh. Finn told Iroh what he saw.
"So what do you make of these events?" Asked Iroh.
"Well my stepsister was a portal for evil, but she was unaware of it and I think my stepdad used some kind of crazy magic to make me and my brothers forget about her, but now something has happened and I remember Gata now. I don't think my stepdad killed though, I think he just sealed her up somewhere. I...just know Gata is alive." Said Finn.
"That's good. I think this meditation was a big success." Said Iroh.
"Thank you." Said Finn as he stood up and bowed.
The young hero then decided to go for a walk around the palace.
Meanwhile on Hyrule, Zelda was going to a room in the palace that had an ancient shrine in it that had a small statue of the Cosmic Owl. It was an ancient magical item that held the power to transport beings to other worlds and Zelda was planning on using it to travel to Olympia to seek out help. Little did the princess know, was that she was being spied on by a very unusual individual. This individual was a inch tall teenager with pale skin, red eyes, long purple hair that went all the way to his shoulders and covered his right eye. He also wore a purple shirt, red pants, red sandals, a gold belt with a round red belt buckle, a purple cape, and a purple cap with a gold trim and red gemstone.
The tiny spy was levitating in the air as he followed Zelda to the shrine and watched as she picked up the statue and asked it to take her to Olympia. There was a flash of light and Zelda was gone. The spy decided he needed to report this to his superior. He flew out of the castle and towards some woods a few miles away, until he came across a cave and went inside. The spy entered a large chamber and landed on the ground, where he grew to the size of a normal teenager. He then walked to the far side of the chamber, where he stood before a throne were is superior lazily sat. The being in the throne was a demon lord named Ghirahim. Ghirahim was a tall, slender humanoid with pale, grayish white skin and white hair, which form a lock hiding half of his face. He wore a white jumpsuit with diamond-shaped cut-outs all over, white gloves, a golden belt with a red gem, a red, forked high-collared cloak with diamond motifs, a round left ear and a blue diamond earring on his right ear.
"I have news from the castle, Lord Ghirahim." Said the spy.
"Ah Vaati my favorite Mage. Do tell me what our good little princess is up to." Said Ghirahim.
Vaati told Ghirahim about what, he saw at the castle. Ghirahim seemed amused by the news.
"So the princess is seeking help from the people of another world, how interesting. Adding some new pieces to the game, it should be an interesting turnout, but it won't stop what I have in store for this world. It has me giddy with delight!" Said Ghirahim.
"The plan to free Ganondorf and conquer the world." Said Vaati.
Ghirahim looked at Vaati and then in an instant, he was suddenly standing right next to him and had an arm wrapped around, his shoulder. Vaati had to resist letting out a cry of surprises to maintain his composure.
"You know what the true meaning of insanity is Vaati?" Asked Ghirahim.
Vaati shook his head no.
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. You see I'm far older then I look and I was there to see the feud between the forces of good and evil. Evil rises and try's to conquer the world good shows up and beats them. This has happened over and over. It's a crazy boring, I plan to end. I have gathered and manipulated allies from another realm and from another world. I have a megalomaniac king and his army of shadow creatures on my side along with a mechanical man with an obsession with collecting things, his army of machines and those Hunters he hired. As an added bonus the hero has lost his heroic spirit and his faith in the forces of good, just liked I planed it. No one suspects a thing and this time around things aren't going to play out like they did in the past. This time evil is going to win and rule over all like it was meant to!" Said Ghirahim as he randomly teleported around the room and then returned to the throne.
"Sounds like you though this through." Said Vaati.
"Well if you've been through what I've been then, you would understand. Now then I think I have a little job for you. It'll be fun and easy and let's call it a reward for your hard spying work." Said Ghirahim.
"What's the job?" Asked Vaati.
"You see, when I helped that, guy Zant rise to power to become king, he overthrew a princess named Midna and turned her into an imp to humiliate her and apparently she escaped with part of some mystical artifact. Midna is seeking help to return to her regular form and take back her throne. Though Midna doesn't fully know what I plan to have Zant and his forces launch a massive invasion, she could prove to be a problem. So I want you to take care of her. Midna is yours to do whatever you want with. You can kill or maybe keep her as a slave or pet. Just go and have a good time." Said Ghirahim.
"Your to kind my lord. I'll see to it." Said Vaati with a bow before leaving the chamber.
Ghirahim just laughed as he pictured the last pieces of his plan falling into place.
