Chapter 206 Practice and Training

By: Major144

Disclaimer: I do not own anything, expect the OCs. This is just a story for fun.

Back on Earth a bunch of people were fixing to go do some serious training. In the Ice Kingdom, Slime Princess woke up in the room she shared with Patience. Slime Princess sat up in her bed and saw that Patients was up and wearing a maroon track and black running shoes.

"You ready for today?" Asked Patience.

"I am." Said Slime Princess as she put a green headband on.

The two of them headed outside to begin training. Slime Princess took a minute to admire some ice sculptures Patience had made a while back. The sculptures were of Simon, Betty, Eria, and Weiss. They were part of Patience's own training and a little thank you gift to Simon and Betty for letting her live in the Ice Kingdom. The two Elementals made their way to a nearby clearing where Patience had made some targets out of ice. Patience pulled out a stopwatch and told Slime Princess to hit the targets with her slime. Slime Princess blasted the targets and hit them all in a matter of seconds. Patience whistled in admiration. Next Patience had Slime Princess construct a wall of slime to defend herself from being hit by snowballs. Slime Princess was able to change the structure of her slime now. She could make it soft and sticky so that stuff go stuck on it or in it depending on the thickness of the structure, she could make it super hard, and she could make it bouncy. For the last bit of their training Patience and Slime Princess both used their powers to sore into the air and travel a few hundred yards back to the palace. The two then went into the kitchen for a drink.

"Man what a rush! I'm so pumped right now. I feel totally confident in challenging my sister in a duel for the Slime Kingdom." Said Slime Princess.

"Good to hear, now there's one last thing we need to do." Said Patience.

"What's that?" Asked Slime Princess.

"You must get in touch with your past lives." Said Patience.

"How do we do that?" Asked Slime Princess.

"I'm going to show you a picture and hopefully it'll make you think of the elements and send you deep into your subconscious. I tested on myself and met a past life, so it should totally work on you." Said Patience.

"Do it." Said Slime Princess.

Patience reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with a circle drawn on it with a X in the middle diving the circle into four parts. Slime Princess stared at it and then she fell into a trance. The next thing she knew she was standing on a platform made of solid slime floating through space.

"What up?" Said a voice from behind.

Slime Princess turned around to see a tiny green skinned man wearing jeans, a black jacked, and a blue and white hat. The man stood a few inches taller then Slime Princess. Slime Princess studied the man.

"Your...my past life. Your...George." Said Slime Princess.

"I am. Nice to met you...or me. Man talking to yourself can...be kind of confusing." Said George.

"It totally can, but it's neat. So what kind of special advice can you give me?" Said Slime Princess.

"Not much. Just let your power flow through your body like music. Every part of your body can unleash your power even parts you wouldn't suspect." Said George.

"Cool. Patience was right this was insightful." Said Slime Princess.

"Glad to hear Patience is ok and that her plan worked." Said George.

"You two were really close weren't you." Said Slime Princess.

"We were. Not boyfriend and girlfriend close, but best friend close. We were both kindred spirits." Said George.

"How so?" Asked Slime Princess.

"Well you know back, before the war the world wasn't really accepting of people with odd skin colors. I was made fun of because of my short size and green skin color. People made a bunch of going green and green with envy jokes about me. Patience was kind of in the same boat with her blue skin. The other Elementals had reasonable excuses about their skin colors that they could tell people, but me and Patience didn't have that. The two of us knew what it was like to be treated like freaks and outcast and that's what made us connect and be good friends. The world seemed less bad, as long as there was at least one friend, who knew what it felt like to be an outcast. Patience one time told me she almost considered drowning herself, when she was a little kid and I told her I almost jumped off a bridge when I was younger, but neither one of us tried to take our lives, because we both refused to give up. Patience was the only person I ever told about thinking of killing myself and she told me the same thing. We both truly trusted and cared for each other. When we had the vision of the war, I was actually thinking of going along with Patience's plan about freezing us. Then the cafe I was in with the other Elementals got bombed, before I had a chance to speak with her and go along with her plan. Patience lived and I died." Said George.

Slime Princess was a bit shocked about this news about her past self and Patience.

"Is...there anything you want me to tell Patience on your behalf?" Asked Slime Princess.

"Give her a hug for me...and tell she's a great friend." Said George.

"Can do." Said Slime Princess.

"Thanks and don't worry about that duel with your sister. You can win!" Said George with a smile and a wave.

Slime Princess found herself back in the kitchen with Patience.

"So what happened?" Asked Patience.

"A past version of me told me to simply let the power flow through my body." Said Slime Princess.

"That's it? The guy I talked to gave me a strange white gem on a necklace." Said Patience as she showed a silver chain around her neck with a white oval gemstone.

"Neat. There's one other thing." Said Slime Princess.

"What's that?" Asked Patience.

"Your a great friend." Said Slime Princess as she hugged Patience.

Patience was a little startled by the hug, but she smiled and returned it.

"Your a great friend to."

The two decided to call it a day and went to wash up.

In another part of the Ice Kingdom, Simon was training Dipper was in his wizard robe and practicing a couple of new spells. The first spell Dipper tried out was called brilliance burst. Dipper's hands began to glow as he unleashed a blinding flash of light and Simon had to quickly cover his eyes to avoid being blinded. The light faded and Simon uncovered his eyes.

"Very impressive Mason, now let's try something else. Let's try that tracking spell the North star guide. I'll give you my wallet and you'll use your spell to track me." Said Simon handed his wallet to Dipper.

Simon walked into the woods and after a few minutes Dipper cast the spell. A white star appeared before Dipper and headed into the woods. Dipper followed the star into the woods, he saw several sets of footprints going in several different directions, but the star seemed to be following only one particular set going to the right. The star led Dipper into a clearing where he found three Simons standing before him. Dipper watched as the star flew over to the Simon on the left. Simon smiled as Dipper went over and gave him the wallet. The star vanished and Simon clapped his hands making the other two Simons burst into snowflakes.

"Nicely done. Your skills are growing by the day." Said Simon.

"Thanks master." Said Dipper.

The two called it a day and headed back to the palace.

Pacifica woke up and changed into her archer gear. She first decided to do a little practice with her new spirits. Pacifica first summoned Cancer, who gave her hair a trim and then he helped braided it. Then she summoned Virgo to get her a breakfast bar and meet her outside the palace. The girl was soon outside and found Virgo, who presented her with a breakfast bar and a canteen of water.

"Here are your refreshments Princess Pacifica." Said Virgo.

"Thank you, but you don't need to call me princess." Said Pacifica as she took the items.

"Would you like to punish me for calling you princess?" Asked Virgo hopefully.

"No there's no need for that." Said Pacifica.

Virgo seemed disappointed as Pacifica closed her gate and she vanished. Pacifica just shook her head at the oddness of Virgo's desire to be punished. She then headed into some woods outside the Ice Kingdom to meet up with Huntress Wizard to train. Huntress Wizard was sitting on a log in a clearing, when Pacifica arrived.

"Hello Pacifica. Time to do a little training." Said Huntress Wizard as she stood up and pointed at some targets a few yards away.

Pacifica nodded as she grabbed her bow and notched some arrows to it. Taking quick and careful aim she fired at the targets in quick succession and hit each and everyone of them in the center. Huntress Wizard smiled and nodded with approval, before she fired an arrow of her own into some trees. There was a snapping noise and a target hanging from a rope came down swinging between some trees. Pacifica fired an arrow at the moving target striking it's center.

"Very good. Your accuracy and speed have greatly increased. Your becoming a great archer." Said Huntress Wizard.

"Thank you teacher." Said Pacifica

"Now I will teach a technique that with combine your archery skills with magic." Said Huntress Wizard.

"I'm ready." Said Pacifica.

Huntress Wizard stood behind Pacifica and pointed her at a large rock.

"Now take steady aim and focus. Think about the magical energy you use whenever you summon one of your spirits. Now focus that energy on the tip of your arrow."

Pacifica did as she was instructed and the tip of her arrow began to glow with white light and crackle. She then unleashed it and the arrow flew with incredible speed striking the Rock and exploding!

"I did it!" Exclaimed Pacifica before she felt her legs go weak and she nearly fell, but Huntress Wizard caught her.

Huntress Wizard helped Pacifica over to the log and they sat down.

"That technique is very powerful, but it takes a bit out of you. In time you will grow stronger and be able to fire more arrows infused with your magic over time. Then after you master that you'll be able to fire an arrow of pure magic. You did a good job today Pacifica." Said Huntress Wizard.

"Thanks." Said Pacifica with a smile.

After a few minutes of rest Pacifica stood up, thanked Huntress Wizard for the lessons, and headed back to the Ice Kingdom.

Miles away in an old canyon, Gideon was training with Laser Wizard. Gideon used his gravity magic to lift up several large boulders and sent them crashing into a wall smashing them to bits. He then used his powers to levitate himself and then he crushed a stone pillar with a increase of heavy gravity. Laser Wizard was impressed with Gideon's progress, so he rewarded him with a demonic wishing eye bolo-tie that allowed Gideon to create some copies of himself and could turn his suit from blue to black. Gideon was thrilled by this, perhaps this would get Mabel's attention and affection. After all girls liked the bad boys and Gideon was turning into quit the bad boy. Let Dipper try to stop him from getting what he wanted. Gideon just chuckled at the though of sending Dipper flying with his powers.

In the grasslands, Gata had just left the tree fort to go for a little walk to clear her head and think about her life. Gata was a few hundred yards from the house, when she came across a strange site. A two foot tall black box. Gata stared at the box and it suddenly grew and expanded. The box touched Gata and she ended phasing through it and found herself into it. Gata looked around the box in confusion and she started to have an idea who was behind it. There was a flash of light and Dimentio appeared floating above Gata.

"I am the master of dimensions, the pleaser of crowds... I am...Dimentio!"

"I know who you are Dimentio." Said Gata looking a bit annoyed.

"Well I just felt like formally introducing myself to you since this is really the first time we've truly met." Said Dimentio.

"Guess that makes sense. What do you want anyway?" Said Gata.

"Why I want to help you." Said Dimentio.

"Help me?" Asked Gata.

"Help you unlock your magical gifts, so you can have a fighting chance against that horrid beast you call a mother and have a true happy ending." Said Dimentio.

"That thing isn't my mother...and what does she have to do with anything?" Said Gata.

"Well for starters her existence haunts you. That pendent you wear may keep that portal of yours from opening, but it's not a permanent solution. This world is full of evil kings, mad wizards, and masked villains who could steal your pendent and knock you out and dear old demon mom will find the portal and break free. This is something that will eventually happen. Your going to have to have your mom at some point to be free." Said Dimentio.

"Why are you doing this?" Asked Gata.

"Because I think all that's happened to you was a great injustice. It's your biological mom's fault that you've gone through a ton of terrible things and from what I've heard she plans to destroy once she is free. I can't stand people like your mother, so out of the goodness of my heart I'm going to help teach you magic so you have a fighting chance, when the time comes." Said Dimentio.

"Alright, let's say I believe you, what's to simply keep my brothers or anyone else from stumbling onto this cube and trying to get into it?" Said Gata.

"Oh this cube is invisible and is a separate dimension. No one is going to bother us and its part of your training." Said Dimentio.

"So what am I supposed to do?" Asked Gata.

"Use your own power and get out of the box." Said Dimentio.

"And how am I supposed to do that?" Asked Gata.

"Simple really. Your mother was a powerful magical being and she placed dimensional powers on you to open a portal to the dimension she was banished to. That's simply the tip of of your powers. If you concentrated and focus hard enough on a place you could open a portal up for yourself and escape this cube." Said Dimentio.

"Your a strange one Dimentio, but...I'll give it a try." Said Gata.

"I am a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma." Said Dimentio.

Gata closed her eyes and focused on an image of the tree fort. She then trusted her hands forward and a blue swirling portal appeared shimmering before her. Gata stared through the portal and saw the tree fort.

"Congratulations! You did it!" Said Dimentio as he suddenly pushed Gata through the portal.

Gata stumbled out from the portal a few feet from the tree fort and looked back to see Dimentio waving as the portal closed. Well that had been a strange experience. Gata now knew she had some kind of strange power like Finn and she was being taught by a strange person, like Finn was with Nero. The girl just stared at her hands in wonder. What was she capable of doing?

At the secret lair, Chi woke up and found a box at her door. She took it inside and opened it. The box had a pink leotard, white stockings, and white ballet shoes. There was also a note from Samantha telling Chi to change and meet her by her room. Chi did as she was told and changed. The clothes fit perfectly and the princess went to go see Samantha. The cyborg was outside her room wearing a black leotard, white stockings, and white ballet shoes. She also had her hair in a bun.

"Hey Samantha what's with the outfits?" Asked Chi.

"They're a part of the training I have planned out, however before we begin, there's something I think you can help with." Said Samantha.

"What's that?" Asked Chi.

"Well what the smallest thing you can change into?" Asked Samantha.

"So far the smallest thing I've changed into is a mouse." Said Chi.

"Perfect. I need you to change into a mouse and carry this tiny camera through the air vents and place it by the vent in Klarion's room." Said Samantha.

"You want to spy on Klarion to see if he really had something to do with killing Nyx's parents." Said Chi.

"Yeah, if he had something to do with that fire, we need to find out. Klarion isn't going to publicly admit it if he did it, but he might talk about it if he thinks his alone and no ones watching. I'm Nyx's stepsister and its my job to find the truth about her parents and protect her." Said Samantha.

"Ok I'm in." Said Chi,

Samantha placed a tiny camera in Chi's hand. Chi looked at her hand and decided to demonstrate another power of hers to Samantha. A form rose up from Chi's hand and took the form of a black mouse with a white muzzle, white belly, flaming eyebrows, and flaming tail. The Chi mouse took the camera in it's mouth and Chi lowered it down to the vent. Samantha gave some directions to Klarion's room and the rodent took off into the vents.

"So can you see through that thing's eyes?" Asked Samantha.

"No I can't, but when it merges back with me, I'll see everything it saw." Said Chi.

A few minutes later the mouse returned and went into Chi's hand. The mouse sank into Chi's skin and vanished. Chi confirmed that the camera was in place. Samantha took Chi to a room that looked like a gymnasium and began to teach Chi ballet to help improve her physical strength and reflexes. After that they practiced all the forms Chi knew. Chi changed into a mouse, a snake, a bird, a wolf, a cat, a lizard, and a few others. The princess hadn't managed to change into anything big, but her transformations were improving and she felt her body grow stronger. They ended their training practice and Chi went back to her room to shower and change.

"I'm going to become stronger Mimi, so I can protect the two of us from your father. I will find you and then I'm going to tell you how I really feel about you." Vowed Chi to herself.

A bunch of people in Ooo, were becoming stronger for the future.

To be continued.
