Link traveled to his farm home to gather his supplies and rest. He grabbed his green cap, a carrying bag for supplies, and some weapons. Link pulled a sword hanging from the wall and placed it by his things. It wasn't the Master Sword, but it was a strong sharp blade that would serve Link well. The hero cast a glance at himself in the mirror and saw the light of adventure reflect in his reflection's eyes. It had been a while since he saw that light in his eyes, perhaps talking to Finn and the other heroes had rekindle that light and the impending threat Midna had told the group had helped kick Link's sense of justice back into action. Innocent people had been enslaved by a madman and now that same madman threatened all of Hyrule. Link simply couldn't standby and ignore this. It was time to be a hero.

"So begins another adventure. Hopefully this one I'll be able to save some people." Said Link before to his reflection, before he went off to bed.

At the inn, Zelda, Midna, and the heroes were settling down for the night. Finn and Phoebe were sharing a bed together, but had a pillow between them to help keep them separate. Ling was in a room by himself having a little mental conversation with Greed.

"For the last time Greed, the answer is no!" Said Ling.

"All I'm saying is that we should get some kind of pay for saving going on this mission to save Hyrule. I mean we're the ones going on a potentially dangerous mission to fight a crazy guy, we should ask for a little gold or something in return." Said Greed.

"We're heroes Greed not mercenaries, besides I rich enough as it is. I have my own kingdom after all." Said Ling.

"Ok...what about asking Zelda to marry you? Your a prince and she's a princess after all, if the two of you got married then you can combine your kingdoms! It be a big win for you." Said Greed.

"No. Look Zelda is cute...and seems like a smart girl, but I don't think marriage would work out between us. Besides I'm keeping my eyes out for something else." Said Ling.

"Whatever." Grumbled Greed.

Mimi was sharing the room next door with Lapis and Peridot. The young girl was asleep in the bed, while Lapis and Peridot hung by the window looking out at the night sky. The two were gems and their race didn't need to sleep.

"The stars here are really something to look at." Said Lapis.

"I suppose they are. By the position of the stars here, I would guess that one of them is Olympia." Said Peridot.

"So one of those is Olympia. Your really smart Peridot." Said Lapis with a smile.

"Well...part of my old job, when I worked for Jasper was to plot the star charts and memorize the various planet locations. I was very good at." Said Peridot with a slight green blush.

"Wonder what's going back on Olympia." Said Lapis.

"Oh I'm certain everything is fine. The defenders look quit capable of fending off any attack." Said Peridot.

"I guess your right. So what...exactly do you plan to do after the invaders on Olympia are beaten?" Said Lapis.

"I'm...really not sure. I've spent most of life serving as a technician and scientist for other people, so I really don't have any other experiences with anything else, until I met you and we escaped the Zalost. It's the first time I truly chose to desert someone I worked for to help another person. I felt truly free for the first time, when I did that and I enjoyed spending time with you, along with Jeff, Mimi, and all the other people we've met. If I had to come up with something to do on the spot I would chose spending time with you and the other friends we've made." Said Peridot.

"That sounds good. I enjoy spending time with you too." Said Lapis with a smile.

The two of them continued to look up at the night sky together.

In another room, Zelda was chatting with Midna.

"So the thing your wearing on your head is part of an object called the Fused Shadow and it's one-fourth of a powerful weapon used by your ancestors." Said Zelda.

"It is. My original plan was to locate the other pieces to assemble the object to defeat Zant, but I don't know where they are." Said Midna.

"I think there's a passage in my book that tells the locations of the pieces." Said Zelda as she handed Midna her book.

"Well this should come in handy, but I don't think I need to gather the pieces since a bunch of powerful heroes are planning to assist me. The Fused Shadow is just a backup plan now. I can't wait to see Zant get taken down and beaten for his crimes." Said Midna as she glanced through the book and used her powers to store it in the Fused Shadow.

"Well I wish you luck in whatever path you wish to pursue." Said Zelda.

"Thanks. So is this Link guy that's going to be traveling with us any good at being a hero? I didn't see him do anything, when the inn was attacked." Said Midna.

"Oh Link's just been going through a bit of a difficult time. I assure you, he is one of the most capable heroes you'll ever meet. Link is very courageous and kindhearted, when he sets out do something almost nothing can stop him." Said Zelda.

"Good to know. I think I'll hide in his shadow, while we travel in the daylight." Said Midna.

"So the light of day is bad for your kind?" Asked Zelda.

"It is. My people were born in the Twilight Realm and the environment there made us into what we are. Sunlight is the opposite of twilight and for that the light is deadly to me and my people." Said Midna.

"Would that hinder Zant's plan to conquer Hyrule?" Asked Zelda.

"It would, but Zant is different now. He has a bunch of magical power and is very crafty. If there was a way to invade Hyrule and not be hindered by the sun, Zant will figure it out." Said Midna.

"Then will just have to stop him before he does." Said Zelda.

The two princesses called it a night and went to bed.

Vaati stood on a high tree branch watching the inn. The mage decided to report to Ghirahim and tell him what he saw. He flew back to the cave, where he saw Ghirahim was in the middle of some kind of ritual and that he had company. The company in question was a man from another world. The man went by the name Tyrian Callows. Tyrian was a pale man with a brown braided ponytail and gold eyes. He wore a white sleeveless jacket with leather belts strapped to it, along with white pants. His jacket was left open, exposing his bare chest, which is criss-crossed with prominent scars. His arms wee covered with purple bandages and leather vambraces. He also wore leather boots covering his entire shin with knee guards. On each of his earlobe was a silver, ring-shaped earring, and near the top of his left ear was another matching earring. He also had scorpion stinger which protrudes from his back. When not in use, he disguised it by wrapping it around his belt.

(Author's Note: Tyrian Callows is from RWBY.)

Tyrian was an assassin Ghirahim had met off world and decided to hire him to his cause. The assassin was an insane cruel man with a love for torture and murder. Vaati gave Tyrian a nod in greeting, before he turned his attention to his master. Ghirahim was teleporting around two black wooden coffins moving his arms around and chanting a spell. After a couple of minutes he stopped. At first nothing happened and then the coffins began to shake and rattle. One coffin began to freeze and become covered in ice, while the other burst into flames. The two coffins then exploded and out flew two elderly women riding broomsticks. The two women appeared to be twins. They each had green ski, white hair made into large buns and braids, pointed noses, and wore dark robes with white and red symbols. The only difference between the two was one wore a red gemstone on her forehead, while the other wore a blue one.

"Were alive Koume!" Cackled the women with the blue gemstone.

"That we are Kotake!" Cackled the women with the red gemstone.

"Welcome back to the world of the living Twinrova!" Said Ghirahim.

"Who are you?" Demanded the sisters.

"Why I am Lord Ghirahim and these fine gentlemen are my associates. I brought you two back because we share some common enemies. The hero and the princess. I also desire Ganondorf to takeover the world. Will you join us?" Said Ghirahim.

The sisters looked at one another then back at the demon.

"Will join you."

"Excellent! You two joining us is like a rainbow shooting through my chest!" Cheered Ghirahim.

Vaati then stepped forward to report to his master.

"Interesting. Quit a gathering of heroes. Well the way I figure it they'll split up. One group will go to the castle to prepare for an attack and lock the mirror shard away, while the other will head towards the portal to the Twilight Realm. Vaati you shall be tasked with getting the mirror shard everyone else shall help prepare a nice little welcome in the desert for the heroes going to the Twilight Realm. I'll give Zant a little heads up to set up a little surprise for the heroes as well. We're not simply going to let them waltz right into the Twilight Realm that would just be boring." Said Ghirahim.

"What do you want us to do?" Asked Koumen.

"I think you should pay a visit to your old tribe, I'm sure they'll be delighted to see you. There's also a large clan of bandits who worship Ganon that could be useful. Now go and cause some havoc!" Said Ghirahim.

The four villains nodded and headed out. Ghirahim just laughed with glee.

At the inn the sun was rising up, Link had returned and Zelda asked the heroes to meet up in her room to discuss their next move. It was soon agreed upon that Zelda would head back to the castle with the captured Hunter and mirror shard. Lapis volunteered herself to accompany Zelda along with Mimi and Peridot. Midna would lead Link, Finn, Phoebe, and Ling to the temple with the portal to face Zant. Link gathered up some horse for travel before rejoining back with the others in the inn. Midna floated over to Link.

"You have the honor of me hiding in your shadow brave hero." Said Midna before she dove into Link's shadow and vanished into it.

Link just blinked his eyes in confusion and shrugged. Soon the heroes set out going their separate ways.

To be continued.
