Chapter 209 Dancing Emotions

Back on Earth, Chi was getting more training and practice from Samantha. Nyx wanted to join in on the ballet dancing, so Samantha got her a leotard, stockings, and dance shoes. Chi wanted to maximize her training, so she concentrated real hard and used her powers to split into two. The double had the same abilities of Chi along with all her other traits. It was a big accomplishment for Chi. Alcor was called to help train the second Chi in her powers, while the original did ballet and various exercises and stretches. At the end of the training practice Chi would absorb her double back into herself and she would know everything the double had done and gone through.
One day during a break after some ballet exercises. Chi became curious to how Samantha knew so much about ballet and she asked her.
"Well believe it or not I used to do ballet a lot, when I was just a human. It was one of things I was really good at and I even got to be the lead star in a recital at one point. My mom was real proud of me that day." Said Samantha with a small smile.
"When did that happen?" Asked Nyx.
"It happened a very long time ago. Some time after that there...was a terrible incident and my body...got severally damaged. I was barely alive and my body began to fail...me. Thought I was done for, but then I was given a lifesaving procedure that turned me into a cyborg." Said Samantha.
"How long...ago did that happen to you?" Asked Chi.
"Over a thousand years ago. I was...twelve when it happened. The guy who saved me and turned me into a cyborg was a guy named Dr. AGE. He later adopted me and as time went by I got him to modify and change my appearance a little to make me look like a teenager. It's been an odd life, but I've enjoyed it. I met all of you guys and gone on a bunch of adventures, so it's been good." Said Samantha.
"Man...nearly all my friends have some kind of tragic event in their life." Thought Chi.
"So how much of you is still human?" Asked Nyx.
"Just my eyes and a few of my organs. You want to see?" Said Samantha.
Nyx and Chi just nodded their heads. Samantha instructed them to turn around and they did as they were told. There was a clanking and hissing sound.
"Alright turn around." Said Samantha.
The girls turned around and saw Samantha had pulled her leotard down and that she had shifted the fake flesh on her body to reveal a bunch of black metal. Two metal plates were peeled black revealing a plastic window with a human heart submerged in liquid with some wires and tubs connected to it. The heart was pumping strange liquids through the tubes. Chi and Nyx stared at the organ with both awe and disgust. Samantha then turned around to reveal that her hair had parted along with a couple of metal plates to show a plastic dome with a brain in it. After a few minutes later Samantha put the plates back together, shifted her fake skin and pulled her leotard back up.
"So yeah...now you know what parts of me are truly mine. I got a brain, a heart, some eyes, and my soul. Those are the things that truly belong to me." Said Samantha.
"I'm sorry...for what happened to you." Said Chi.
"There's nothing to be sorry about. It happened a long time ago so it's in the past. Now let's do a little more training. I hate dwelling on the past." Said Samantha.
"Alright Sammy." Said Nyx.
The three of them went back to their exercises.
In another room Alcor was with the second Chi. The double was trying to change into a large animal, but so far she was having no luck and it frustrated her.
"Aaaaaaaaa! This is so annoying! I am a daughter of Aku shapeshifting should come naturally to me! Yet all I can change into are animals my size or smaller!"
"Hey relax. Powers like this are hard to get a handle on and you can't just expect to master them instantly. Your doing a good job so far with your other transformations, so you shouldn't be hard on yourself." Said Alcor.
"But my father was able to master shapeshifting as soon as he came into existence." Said Chi.
"Well from what I heard, your father was fully grown, when he came to be. You were born differently Chi and your still a child in learning. These things take time to learn." Said Alcor.
"I...guess that's true. It's just that all of you have all these cool powers and abilities and I just felt like the weak link in our group." Said Chi.
"Hey you aren't weak Chi. You have powers and some useful skills." Said Alcor.
"I know, but...I just need to become stronger ok." Said Chi.
"Alright let's try a new approach. Maybe your powers full potential can be triggered by emotions. Think about what you felt the first time you transformed." Said Alcor.
Chi closed her eyes and thought back to the tex message she got from Mimi. The situation made her angry because not only did it ruin her plans to be together with Mimi, but it made her mad at herself a bit for lacking any real power of her own. Chi desired to become stronger so she could protect the people she cared about. The princess began to focus and her body began to change and take shape. In less then a minute she fully transformed into a enormous tyrannosaurus rex. Chi opened her eyes and saw her transformation. She then focused some more and changed herself into a bear and then into a gorilla.
"I did!" Exclaimed Chi as she changed back into her normal form.
"Told you could." Said Alcor with a smile.
Later on the training ended and the two groups met up. The two Chis fused back into one Chi and she faced her friends. It was time she told them the whole truth about Mimi.
"I just want to say you've all been good friends to me and I trust you all. There's something important I need to tell you. You all know that I'm searching for a friend of mine named Mimi. She was my first real friend before I met all of you. Mimi ran away from her home because, her father was evil and he greatly abused and tortured her. I was aware of this during the time I knew Mimi and I came up with a plan to get her away from her father. You...see I...love Mimi and I mean I actually love her as someone I want to be together with. My plan was to marry Mimi, so I could have her brought to my home to live with me. I was going to explain my plan to Mimi...and tell her how I really felt about her, but then she ran away from her father's dimension. Mimi's father is a cruel person and he will do terrible things to Mimi once he gets a hold of her. I need to find her first, so I can get her someplace safe and protect her...and then I can tell her how I feel." Said Chi.
"Well you can count on us to help you find her." Said Samantha.
"If Mimi is important to you then she's important to us as well." Said Alcor.
"Your...going to help me?" Asked Chi.
"Of course we are silly, were your friends! Friends help each other out." Said Nyx with a smile and a wink.
"You...guys are the best friends I could ever ask for!" Said Chi with a big smile.
The others smiled back.
Later that night, Samantha was checking on the camera she and Chi had placed in Klarion's room, using a computer screen built into her arm. Everything seemed to be normal, until a mirror that was hanging above Klarion's desk began to glow and a strange red man with red skin and black hair appeared in it. Klarion took notice of the mirror and a big gleeful grin appeared on his face as he went over to the mirror to speak to the man. Samantha sent Chi a message telling Chi to come to her room, since she might be able to help identify the stranger. Chi soon came to Samantha's room and the cyborg showed her the video screen on her arm.
"Oh...my..dark! It's Mimi's dad. It's Him!" Said Chi with her eyes wide in shock.
"So that's Mimi's dad. What's his name?" Said Samantha.
"Him." Said Chi.
"I know, his gender, what's his name?" Said Samantha.
"His name is Him." Said Chi.
"You serious?" Said Samantha.
"Yeah I'm serious. I asked my dad what Him's real name was and he simply told me I was way to young to hear it and that it was simply safer just to call that guy Him." Said Chi.
"Wonder what he wants with Klarion?" Said Samantha.
Chi just shrugged and the two of them stared at the screen.
"So I got good news and bad news for you. The good news is I've decided to officially adopt you as my child and heir and denounce that worthless miserable excuse of a daughter." Said Him.
"That monster! He just tossed his own kid to the side as if she was nothing to him!" Snarled Chi in anger.
"So what's the bad news?" Asked Klarion.
"The bad news is that my former daughter has the devil essence I was going to give to you my son. My idiot minions were supposed to affect her with it to make her my mind slave so I could torture and do whatever I wanted with her, then I would give the devil essence to you. A real good plan, yet somehow that brat didn't fall under the essence's influence and trapped it in her body. My minions tracked her to a planet in this universe, but they failed to capture her and they failed to retrieve the essence once Mimi trapped it in her body, so I can't give it to you now." Said Him.
"Oh man!" Said Klarion.
"But don't you worry your black little heart. I'm already working on a cruel cunning plan to get it back and punish my former daughter." Said Him.
"Ooo! I like it already!" Said Klarion.
"It's a very fiendish plan. I just need to get the right assistance and wait for the fly to come to us." Said Him.
"Why would she come here?" Asked Klarion.
"Just a hunch, also this world is a magnet that attracts all kinds of people. Trust me son." Said Him with a sinister grin.
"Alright father I trust you." Said Klarion with an evil grin of his own.
Him vanished from the mirror.
"That dirty rotten devil! His going to hurt Mimi real bad!" Said Chi in frustration.
"Your weren't kidding, when you said this guy was a terrible dad. On the plus side this narrows our search down to a planet in this universe." Said Samantha.
"But we don't know which one it is." Said Chi.
"Will figure it out and once we do will go get Mimi. I have a ship so we're good in the travel department." Said Samantha.
"Alright good. We find out what the planet is and then we go and save Mimi." Said Chi.
"Sounds like a good plan." Said Samantha.
Chi left Samantha's room feeling a little happy and excited. She was one step closer to finding her friend. It didn't matter how big the universe was, nothing was going to get in Chi's way and she was going to tell Mimi how she felt and protect her from her father.
