Chapter 198: The Syrup Village Rich Girl, Dawn Meets Kaya!
In the podcast room of her home, Dawn (wearing her light purple long sleeve zipped up shirt and blue jeans) was sitting down on the set of her podcast, ready to film the next episode of her series. Once the camera was on, Dawn press record on her remote control as the episode was now live.

"While they are busy, I might as well take my personal ship on a trip," Dawn said and then she gets off the bed.
While the others were busy, Dawn gets into her Moon Chaser mini-ship and lowers it into the water. Once she unties the mini-ship from The Thousand Sunny, Dawn steps into the cockpit and puts the ship in drive.
Dawn then takes out her dimensional scissors from her pocket and puts it in the ignition. She then turns it to the right as a rift opens up.
"Okay, here we go," Dawn said and then she drives into the rift.
While that happens, Nami manages to get a glimpse at what Dawn did and she couldn't believe it.
"Holy shit, I don't know what's going on, but I have to know what Dawn has in her possession," Nami thought.
Five seconds later, Dawn drives out of the rift and to more ocean with no land in sight. Dawn then turns her scissors to the left as the rift disappears.
"I don't see any land in sight, maybe if I go further I'll see some land," Dawn said as she continues to drive the ship along the sea.
A half an hour later, Dawn was still driving her ship along the ocean and then she could see land in her sights.
"Yes, I see land, I see land," Dawn said and then she drives over to the shore of the island.
Fifteen minutes later, Dawn pulls up to the shore and drops the anchor for her ship. Once she parks her boat, Dawn exits the boat and lands on the shore.
"Huh, I wonder where I am?" Dawn asked.
"Nami has told me about all the places she has seen and drawn maps of it, but I don't see anything in particular to know where I am," Dawn said and then she walks up the shore and was heading up a hill.
Then, Dawn stops to see the rocks on the ground were stained with blood and soon realizes where she was.
"A hill, blood stained on the rocks, this must be Syrup Village that they told me about, this is Usopp's hometown," Dawn thought as she was getting excited.
"I'm surprised that Nami's blood is still on the ground, I thought the elements would taken care of it, but I was wrong," Dawn thought and then she continues to walk up the hill.
Once Dawn makes it up the hill, she was thinking of something to do.
"You know it is so beautiful out, that I think I should practice with my swords today," Dawn said and then she starts to walk around some more.
After ten minutes of walking, Dawn found a big field so she can practice her sword techniques. After walking onto the field and looking around to make sure no one can see her, Dawn pulls out her dimensional scissors from her pocket.
Dawn then grabs onto her dimensional scissors and focus all of her energy into summoning her katanas. She then closes her eyes and focus on summoning her katanas.
Seven seconds later, Dawn opens her eyes and then she sees that she successfully summoned her katanas.
"Nice, I thought that would take a lot more concentration," Dawn said.
Dawn then swings her katanas slowly, she was so graceful when she swings her katanas, like a deadly swan.
Three minutes later, Dawn decides to take things up a notch and swings her katanas faster. She swings them down, left, right, and then she spins around acting like a deadly spinning top.
Soon, Dawn stops as she was shaking her head after spinning around during that move.
"Hey, you're pretty good," this female voice said to Dawn.
Dawn turns her head to her right to see a girl a year older than her, she has blonde hair that goes down a few inches past her shoulders, she had on a brown jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, a white skirt that goes almost to her ankles, and brown ankle-length boots.
"Thanks," Dawn said to the girl as she puts down her katanas.
"I have never seen you in Syrup Village before," the girl said to Dawn as she walks over to her.
"Nope, I'm just visiting," Dawn said as the girl stands a few inches near her.
Once Dawn gets a look of the girl, she realizes that this girl was one of The Straw Hat Pirates' friends.

"Are you a member of The Straw Hat Pirates, because I haven't seen you on any posters?" Kaya asked Dawn.
"Well I'm best friends with the crew, I'm not a permanent member of the crew, I come by to visit them from time to time," Dawn said.

"Okay, if you said so," Dawn said to Kaya and then Kaya steps back a bit.
"Forgive Mother Nature, I'm sorry what I'm about to do to this rock," Dawn said quietly as she readies her katanas.
Dawn then swings her katanas rapidly at the boulder as Kaya couldn't believe the movement of Dawn swinging her katanas.
Thirty seconds later, Dawn stops swinging her katanas and sets them on the ground. Kaya looks at the boulder as it looked like it didn't sustain any damage.
"Uh, you didn't do anything," Kaya said to Dawn.
"Wait for it," Dawn said to Kaya.
Then, the boulder starts to form some cracks and the cracks start to get larger. Ten seconds later, the boulder breaks into numerous pieces as the pieces land on the grass.
"Wow," Kaya said in amazement.
"There, the boulder is broken and now people can sit down and enjoy the view," Dawn said.
"Well you weren't lying Dawn, I'm impressed by your sword work," Kaya said to Dawn.
"Thanks," Dawn said to Kaya.
"Well I better head home," Kaya said.
"Oh really?" Dawn asked Kaya.
"Yes I was just taking a break, I'm heading back home to study," Kaya said.
"What are you studying for?" Dawn asked Kaya.
"Oh I'm studying to become a doctor," Kaya said.
"Wow that is so cool, listen when you become a doctor, maybe you can join up with Chopper, I think he would love to have someone who is also a doctor with him," Dawn said to Kaya.

"Listen, if you are still around, maybe you can come to my house and we can hang out more," Kaya said to Dawn.

Later on, Dawn's katanas turn back into her dimensional scissors as it was now nighttime in Syrup Village. Dawn decide to stick around so she can hang out with Kaya some more. Lucky for her, Usopp told Dawn where Kaya lived so it would be easier for Dawn to find Kaya.
Dawn was walking around Syrup Village, looking to find the house that Kaya lives in.
"Okay, Usopp said that Kaya's home is the biggest one in the village," Dawn said.
Dawn then stops to see a white mansion in her sights with this fence surrounding it.
"This must be Kaya's house, that was easy enough," Dawn said.

"There's Kaya's bedroom, how am I going to get up there?" Dawn thought and then she sees a tree beside her.
"That will work," Dawn thought and then she climbs up the tree.

Dawn then looks at a wall and it had The Straw Hat Pirates' wanted posters on it.

"Well considering Usopp is part of the group, I would follow him, no matter which group he is in," Kaya said as Dawn sees something else on the wall.
