Chapter 269 Wish Disaster 6

The monkey forces stormed the asylum in force. Mandarin, Blue Monkey, and Pink Monkey followed their forces in, while White Monkey waited outside with his robot dragon. The invaders soon met with opposition in the form of the asylum guards and Hersey's crazed group of followers. The two sides clash with each other in the hallways. Hersey's followers were armed with various types of objects they could use as weapons. There were knives, chairs, crutches, pans, and a few bedpans. The asylum guards and the crazed followers fought fiercely against the monkey invaders and managed to hold their own for a bit, until a bunch of vengeful patients led by Megavolt and Quackerjack showed up and began to attack the asylum guards. Megavolt drained the gumball robots of their energy and blasted volts of electricity at the other guards. Quackerjack ran about flipping and leaping as punched and kicked various guards. Mandarin fought through the crowd of defenders and came face to face with Hersey. The mad candy cult leader had two knives in his hands, which he tried to stab Mandarin with. Mandarin raised his left gauntlet and a blue energy shield came out and blocked the attack. Hersey snarled and fiercely attacked the shield with his knives as he screamed like a madman.

"You fowl dirty beat! You and your kind shall not invade the sacred temple of the Phantomrider! The Phantomrider shall purge this world of evil and create a utopia!"

Mandarin decided he had enough of Hersey's ranting and delivered a kick to Hersey's chest and knocked him back. The monkey then opened his mouth and unleashed a powerful sonic scream, that slammed into Hersey and sent him flying out one of the broken windows and into the courtyard. Mike and Pike saw this and rushed at Mandarin only to be sliced to bits by an energy blade from Mandarin's right gauntlet. The two brothers were still alive due to their biology, though their severed limbs did get kicked around due to all the fighting.

Out in the courtyard Hersey groaned and sat up to see White Monkey in his dragon robot. It was then that the Phantomrider came out of an air vent and took stock of what was happening. The Phantomrider took stock of all the fighting that was going on and concluded that the dragon was the biggest threat and decided to attack it. The artificial being flew and slammed a fist into the dragon's face knocking it back a few feet. White Monkey let out a snarl as he made the dragon spit fire at the Phantomrider. The Phantomrider managed to dodge and avoid any serious damage from the attack, but the flames still managed to destroy a few hundred nanobots that made up it's form. The other nanobots quickly went about replicating themselves and repairing the damage, while the Phantomrider fought White Monkey and the dragon. Hersey meanwhile sat up on his knees and cheered the Phantomrider on.

"YES! Destroy that beast! I your humble servant praise and believe in you! Your magnificent!"

A blast of fire then flew by the Phantomrider and struck Hersey, melting his chocolate body, burning his clothes, and instantly killing him. Frank then hopped out of the window, ran towards Hersey's remains, and began licking them up as he screamed the world chocolate over and over. The Phantomrider continued to fight White Monkey.

Down in the lab, Walker had snuck over to Rudolf and told him, he wanted to free the psychics. At first Rudolf seemed reluctant to help Walker, but then he considered all the insanity going on around him and decided to go along with Walker's plan. Walker was going to cause a distraction, while Rudolf woke and freed the psychics. The guard looked over at Mnemonoid, who was watching the fight between the Phantomrider and White Monkey on a computer screen and with a mighty yell Walker tackled Mnemonoid and slammed him into a bunch of machines causing them to spark. Jeremy, Loboto, and the guards and lab workers turned their attention to the scene and began shouting and yelling. While that was going on Rudolf moved his wheelchair over to another computer and began to wake up the psychics, by having their pods inject them with adrenaline.

"This is all your fault!" Yelled Walker as he attempted to throttle Mnemonoid.

Mnemonoid let out a startled gasp as he used his psychic powers to grab Walker and send him flying and crashing into the wall on the other side of the room. Walker laid on the ground groaning as a couple of guards picked him up by the arms and held him up. Jeremy walked over to them and pointed his laser gun at Walker's face.

"I will not stand for disloyalty Walker. You tried to take out a valuable asset and we can't have that, so I'm terminating your employment." Said Jeremy as he prepared to pull the trigger.

The sound of opening machines got everyone's attention and they turned to see the pods open up and the psychics get out with confused looks on their faces and fidgeting limbs. Specter took everything in and a glare appeared on his face as he fired a blue ball of psychic energy at a group of guards and lab workers. The ball exploded sending guards and lab workers flying. Panic took over and the guards that held Walker dropped him as they quickly drew their weapons. A psychic blast from Aggie knocked some guards over, as Izzy used her own psychic powers to make a bunch of wires shoot out of some machines and wrap some lab workers up, and Anton used his powers to set a bunch of machines on fire and burn some guards. Jeremy took in the carnage before him as he felt his body gripped with fear. He fired his laser gun at Specter, but the psychic monkey blocked the attacks with a shield of psychic energy. Jeremy backed up over to Mnemonoid, who stood nearby with Loboto cowering behind him.

"Do something!" Cried Jeremy as he looked at Mnemonoid.

"Oh I will." Said Mnemonoid.

Jeremy's weapon was yanked from his hands and the next thing Jeremy knew, he was sent sliding over the floor and stopped a few feet from the freed psychics. Jeremy looked up at the psychics with fear as they glared down at him and then they looked up at Mnemonoid.

"Consider it a peace offering. That man is responsible for kidnapping you from your homes and experimenting on you. I came to work here much later. I do not have any desire in fighting any of you. Now if you excuse me, my compatriot and I shall be leaving." Said Mnemonoid.

With that said Mnemonoid used his psychic powers to lift himself and Loboto off the ground and flew towards the elevator. They entered the elevator and went up. Once they were up and the doors opened, Mnemonoid used a psychic blast to clear the way for him and Loboto to fly through the hallway and out a window through the courtyard. The Phantomrider was still fighting the dragon and putting up a great fight, but even with the powerful beings's strength Mnemonoid could see that the asylum was lost. Mnemonoid called the Phantomrider to him and together with Loboto they fled the asylum. This caused the followers of the Phantomrider to believe their lord was abandoning them and they gave up fighting. The remaining guards were soon taken down as well.

Back in the lab, Specter had fired a tiny energy blast into Jeremy's legs crippling him. The freed psychics then gathered up Rudolf, Walker, Jeremy, and all the remaining guards and lab workers and headed into the elevator. When they got up there, they were greeted by the sights of a bunch of monkeys. Specter was happy to see his people and then he glanced at the crowd of patients that had joined the monkeys in the fight. The psychic monkey tossed Jeremy over to them.

"Do with him as you please."

The patients surrounded Jeremy and closed in on him.

"Please...have mercy! I...don't deserve this!" Cried Jeremy with fear in his eyes as he desperately tried to crawl away.

The patients pounced on Jeremy, who managed to let out a scream of anguish, before the patients attacked with their fist and various objects. Jeremy was killed in under a minute, his body bruised, cut, and swollen. Specter was approached by Mandarin, who greeted the psychic monkey. Specter told Mandarin to contact the Breakfast Kingdom, the Lizard Kingdom, and a place called Farmer Village. These were the homes of Anton, Izzy, and Aggie and once they all heard what happened they would be furious at the Candy Kingdom. Mandarin went off to get White Monkey to do this, while Pink Monkey walked up to Specter and hugged and kissed. Specter smiled at Pink Monkey glad to be free.

At the Candy Kingdom, Bubblegum continued to spout off facts and knowledge. The info just kept coming and coming and Bubblegum was having trouble thinking straight and she was starting to lose touch with the world around. Braco became very concerned for Bubblegum's health and had the kingdom's doctors examine her, but they had no idea what to do. Bubblegum was then taken to hers and Braco's bedroom to rest. Braco sat by Bubblegum as she laid in the bed still giving out knowledge. It was then that Braco came up with a use for Bubblegum's knowledge powers.

"Can you figure out who Crimson is and what he and the Lich are planning?" Asked Braco.

At first it seemed like Bubblegum didn't hear him, but then she gave her husband the faintest of nods. Braco smiled and gave Bubblegum a little kiss on the cheek. From a cracked doorway Crimson in his Peppermint Butler persona scowled at Bubblegum and Braco, he could not allow Bubblegum to learn his identity and the plans he and his master had formed, that info could spread through Ooo and ruin everything. Crimson was going to have to take drastic action to prevent this.

In Wizard City, nearly every wizard was at the Capitol for Ron James's party and statue unveiling. Unbeknownst to anyone a large group of ants, fairies, and dark magic users had joined forces and were planning to attack the prison and free all the prisoners. Gentleman Wizard had also joined the group and he was determined to rise up in power and take his revenge of Simon, Gata, and anyone associated with them.

Miles away at the Ice Kingdom, A Real Magic Skeleton had arrived. He just needed to find Simon and explain what was going on and maybe the old wizard could fix things. A Real Magic Skeleton hoped he wasn't too late to prevent disaster.
