Tig hasn't been sleeping much lately, as matter of fact he hasn't slept not since Venus kicked him out of their home and that was almost three weeks ago. Tig knew by becoming Collette's fuck partner was going to fuck things up between him and Venus. He also knew that he should've stopped it from the moment it started. Now there's a possible chance that Collette could actually be pregnant and there's a very small chance that he could be the father, which he already knows he's not. But he won't be sure until he actually takes an DNA test to prove it. Tig sighs heavily as he grabs the jack Daniels and poured himself another drink.
Setting the bottle down as he picked up the shot glass he took one gulp of it and closed his eyes as the burning of the liquor sliding down his throat. He was about to pour another shot when he noticed Chibs walking out with an crow eater under his arm.
" Morning brother." Tig said as he took another shot and slammed the shot glass down on the table.
Chibs sighs as he looked down at the woman." Hey why don't you bring us some coffee, darlin." Chibs requested as he lets her go.
The crow eater just nods her head." I will be right back." She answered as she walked towards the kitchen. Chibs walked towards Tig as he pulled the bottle away from him.
" What the hell brother?" Tig asked as he tried to reach for the bottle as Chibs kept holding his hand back away from Tig's reach." Chibs are you seriously gonna not going to give me the bottle back?" He asked as he tried to reach for it but failed.
", Sorry Tiggy, but I think you had enough. Besides don't you know that it's too early to get drunk?" Chibs asked as he placed the bottle behind the bar." How long have you been anyway?" Chibs asked as he sat down beside Tig.
Tig sighs heavily as he closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose." I never went to sleep." He answered honestly as the crow eater came back with two cups of coffee and set them down in front of Tig and Chibs.
", Do you guys need anything else?" She asked before she walked away.
Chibs just shook his head." We are good love." As soon as she walked away Chibs turned his attention back to his brother." Alright Tiggy, talk to me. What's going on? I mean you haven't slept in three weeks and that worries me brother."
Tig couldn't help but snort as he took a drink of his coffee. He inhales and exhaled as he could feel the warm smooth liquid running down his throat as it starts warm up his body." I don't know man, ever since Venus kicked me out of the house. All I could do is think about how much I hurt her and betrayed her trust. The more I think about how I completely fucked everything up between us. The less I'm sleeping."
" Jesus, Tiggy. " Chibs said with a deep sigh as he took a drink of his own coffee which was still warm." Have you even tried calling Venus?"
Tig shook his head as he sighs once more." She won't return my calls." Tig was gonna say more when he felt his burner viberating against his cut. He groans in annoyance as he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone or even had to deal with anyone else's bullshit right now.
" What?" Tig asked sharply as soon as he answered the call.
" Sorry for calling you Tig. But it's important." Tara answered as she pulled into his and Venus's driveway and turned off the engine as she got unbuckled and climbed out of her car. She was gonna call Venus and have just have Venus meet her at the club house along with Tig. But since Venus isn't talking to Tig and she might end killing him, Tara decided she will bring Venus to the club house with her instead.
" What's wrong? Did something happened to Venus?" Tig asked with concern as the thought of something terrible has happened to his old lady, to the woman he loves more than anything. If something did happen to her, Tig would tear this town apart in finding the assholes for hurting his Venus.
" She's fine Tig, actually I'm at your house right now. Are you still at the club house?" Tara asked as she approached their front door.
" Yeah, why?" Tig asked as he brought his eye brow close in confusion." What's going on Tara?"
" I'm bringing Venus to the club house with me and I tell you both what's going on. We will be there in about twenty minutes." Tara answered as she pulled the phone away and ended the call before Tig had a chance to ask more questions.
" What did Tara want?" Chibs asked as soon Tig snapped his burner and set it gently against the bar.
" She said she has something important to tell me and Venus. As matter of fact she's bringing Venus here, so she can tell us both what's going on." Tig isn't what's going on or why Tara is bringing Venus to the club house, but as long as he actually gets to see Venus, he will be happy. He just hopes they can talk and work this shit out between them.
Dr. Taylor was still working on the next blood test before sending it to the lab as soon as she heard a knock coming from her office door." Come in." She responded as she didn't look up from her work. As soon as she heard the door open, Dr. Taylor looked up and noticed Ms. Jenkins walking into her office. She sighs as she had a feeling Ms. Jenkins was gonna show up in her office sooner or later, considering she never called Ms. Jenkins this morning.
" What can I do for you, Ms. Jenkins?" Dr. Taylor asked as she pulled the gloves off of her hands and tossed them into the trash can.
" I know you have my test results. I wanna see them." Collette answered. Its only been twenty four hours since she paid Dr. Taylor the $500 to get the results done faster and now that the results are in. She wants to know if she's actually pregnant or not.
Dr. Taylor sighs as she walked over to her desk and pulled the top desk drawer open. Pulling out the envelope she sighs once more as she handed the results to Collette." You're not gonna like the results." She said as she shrugs her shoulders.
" I can handle it." Collette answered as she pulled the paper from the envelope and unfolded it. As she read the results she shook her in confusion." This gotta be a mistake, because I know for a fact I'm pregnant. I took a home pregnancy test. Two in fact and they both said positive, and now you're telling I'm not?" Collette asked.
" Some times that can happen, not all home pregnancy tests are actually 100% accurate. But that test result is 100% accurate and I hate to tell you this Ms. Jenkins, but you're not pregnant."Dr.Taylor was hoping Tara was gonna be the one to tell her, but since Collette is already in her office and wanted to see the test results herself, Dr. Taylor had no choice but to tell her.
Collette sighs as she folded the paper back up and stuffed it back into the envelope before stuffing it into her purse." Doesn't matter. The only thing that does matter is that I got nothing to worry about since I now know the truth. Thanks Doc." Collette said as she turned around and walked out of Dr. Taylor's office and closed the door behind her.
" So? What did the results say?" Broaski asked as soon as Collette walked out of the doctor's office. " Are you pregnant or not?"
Collette reached over and patted him on the shoulder." Don't worry Charlie, I'm not pregnant. Your escort and brothel business is still safe." Collette simply answered as she walked away from Broaski and headed for the elevator. Well at least this saved her from the trouble of getting an abortion which was planning on doing if she actually was pregnant, and now she doesn't need to.
The moment Tara pulled into the lot, Venus sighs as she glanced over at her." Why are we here?" Venus asked as she looked back at the club house and noticed Alex was standing outside of the club house as she couldn't help but rolled her eyes in annoyance. Even though Venus won't admit to herself. She really does miss him. She just not sure if she can trust him again.
" Because like I told you earlier. You two need to talk and work this out, and because I have something to show you guys." Tara answered as she pulled out a folded piece of paper out of her bag." This right here, is the solution to your guys problems. Come on." Tara said as she got out of the car and headed towards the club house with Venus following behind her.
Tig placed both hands into his pockets as he watched both Tara and Venus walking up to him. As Tig kept staring at Venus with so much love and desire in his eyes, the more he can feel his heart beating against his chest like a jag hammer. God he has missed her so freaking much.
" Hey darling." Tig greeted Venus as he leans over and kissed her cheek gently." It's good to see you."
Venus scoffed and rolled her eyes as she felt his lips against her skin, even though she secretly misses his lips and hands against her skin and body, she wasn't gonna tell him." Whatever Alex, the only reason why Tara asked me to be here is because she has something to tell us both. So don't even think that I have forgiven you." She answered as she walked past him and into the club house.
Tig couldn't help but smirk as he watched her walking in." God Damn I love that woman."
" Come on Tig let's do this inside." Tara said as she placed her hand against his back as they both walked into the club house and joined Venus at the bar.
" Okay I know you two are probably wondering why I asked you both here and of course your also wondering what the hell this is and why I have it. It's Collette's pregnancy test results and believe me, you two are gonna wanna take a look at this." She then handed the folded up paper to Venus. Open it."
Venus raised her brows for a moment as she took the paper from Tara. If it had anything to do with Collette she wasn't interested. But since Tara reminded her five minutes ago that could be the solution to their problems she might as well take a look at the results.
The moment Venus unfolded the paper Venus gasps little in surprise. " is this for real?" She asked Tara as she looked up.
Tara couldn't help but smile as she nods her head." This very real and a good thing."
" What does it say?" Tig asked as he was anxious and nervous at the same time.
" Collette's not pregnant and you're not the father." Venus answers as she folded the paper back up. She then looks over at Alex as she couldn't help but laugh. Your whore is not pregnant and you're not the father Alex, she repeated as they both laughed as they were so relieved and satisfied with the answer.
Tara was happy to see them happy with the results." Now you two need to talk and I need to go pick up the boys from daycare." Tara said as she turned around and walked out of the club house so she can give them some privacy.
" Hey Tara, wait up." Tig said as he catches up to her just before she got into the drivers seat.
" Is everything okay?" Tara asked as she couldn't help but be little concerned already.
" Oh yeah, everything is fine. Now that we know the answer and we could put this whole thing behind us. Thank you for looking for out for Venus. We are very lucky to have you as our Queen." Tig said as he gently kissed Tara's forehead before turning back around and walking back into the club house to talk to his old lady and hopefully take her into his bed, if she let's him.
Tara smiles to herself as she was happy that they will be able to work it out. Tara then heard her cell ringing as soon as she pulls it out of her purse she noticed Dr. Taylor was calling her. Tara quickly answered the call.
" What's wrong?" Tara asked right away as she couldn't help but have a feeling something happened.
" I didn't want to bother with you about this but Ms. Jenkins was here in my office and she already saw the pregnancy results and I don't think she's too happy about." Dr. Taylor honestly wasn't going to tell Tara about Collette's little visit earlier. But she also didn't want to keep it from Tara either.
Tara sighs deeply as she knew Collette would have shown up at Dr. Taylor's office anyways." Thanks for telling me Dr. Taylor and don't worry I will handle everything else." She said as she ended the call. She then made a call to daycare and to let the nurses know that she will be running late picking up the boys.
Tara then pulled out of the lot and headed out to Stockton since she had to talk to the Madam. As much as Tara really doesn't want anything to do with Collette let alone talk to her, she just can't let it go and she refuses to let that bitch get away with it as well. Tara has got a few things to say to Collette and she wasn't going to back now either.
AN: Finally done with this chapter. For those who don't know I'm in the hospital mainly because of a really bad Staph affection which is healing.
