Tara was in the middle of cleaning the house and getting everything ready for Thanksgiving dinner tonight. The whole club and their families were all coming over for Thanksgiving even the Mechanics and Tara wants to make sure everything goes perfect. She also wants to make sure nothing bad happens either. It's been over a week since Jax and Tara came home from vacation and so far everything has been find so far. Thanks to Opie and Lyla. Thanks to them Tara has nothing to worry about.
While Tara was pushing the vacuum cleaner across the living room floor, she looked up as she heard the front door open. When she noticed it was Lyla, Venus and Claire walking in. Tara turned the vacuum off and plugged it.
" Hey guys." Tara greeted them as she gave them a quick hug and a friendly peck on their cheeks." You guys are kinda early. I wasn't really suspecting you guys until little later." She said as she walked through the kitchen and over to the cabinet to get four coffee mugs. Three with coffee and one with herbal tea.
" Yeah, we know. But with the guys up in Oakland for the day. I thought we could come over and we can chat for a bit." Lyla said as she helped Tara with the coffee.
" You guys came here to chat?" Tara asked with a snort.
" Actually, we want to know how your guys vacation went. Where did Jax ended up taking you? " Venus asked as she took a drink of her coffee as she sat down at Tara's kitchen table.
Tara chuckled as she nods her head." Yeah, that's what I thought. Our vacation went amazingly well, Jax seems so relaxed when he's not dealing with club business or anything that involves with the club. He ended up taking me to Napa Valley." Tara answered as she took a sip of, her coffee and sat down.
" Ooh, how romantic." Claire said with a smile as she, took a drink of her herbal tea." Maybe I should try get Happy to take me on a vacation." She suggested.With their daughter coming in a few weeks. Claire thought of her and Happy getting away might be the perfect time for them.
" Seriously? have you actually talked to Happy about going on vacation?" Tara asked as she never thought of Happy being the type of man who takes a vacation. Let alone take his old lady somewhere on vacation either.
" Well.. no not exactly. But I thought about talking to him about." Claire sighs for a moment as she noticed the looks on Lyla and Venus's faces including Tara's." You all think its a bad idea. Don't you?"
Tara shook her head. " No, of course not. All we are saying is when it comes to Happy it's not that easy to convince him to go anywhere that doesn't involve the club. Because we all know that wherever the club is Happy will be there. But if you think you can actually get Happy to take you somewhere on vacation. Good luck with that."
" Thanks Tara.. I think. " Claire said with a chuckle as she shook her head.
" So, have you guys heard from Nero? I mean after you guys turned down his offer?" Lyla asked as she got up and went to pour herself another cup of coffee.
Tara blew out some air as she shook her head." No, and I don't think we are going to anytime soon either." A few days after Tara and Jax came home from Napa Valley. They went to go see Nero at his Uncle's farm up in Norco and when Tara told Nero that they were declining his offer on buying Gemma's house. He ended up kicking them out and said he never wants to talk to them ever again.
" Damn, that's gotta be rough. How's Jax handling it?"
Tara shrugs her shoulders." I think he's handling it pretty well. I mean yeah, he and Nero were business partners and Nero was with Gemma up until her death, and yeah Jax and I both feel bad that we can't give the house to Nero since the new family is moving in after the new year. But Nero has to understand that it was our decision."
" I still can't believe you guys actually sold Gemma's house and let another family move in." Venus said as she shook her head. Venus used to always come over to Gemma's during all those family dinners. She always felt Gemma's place always had a warm and cozy feeling and now there's gonna be another family moving in and she's not too sure how she feels about it.
" Honestly, neither can I. I mean at first when Jax told me he wanted to sell his childhood home I honestly didn't think he was serious, and when he told me that he wanted to keep all those memories of his family behind him and want another family to have a chance to make memories of their own. I knew he was serious and we both made the right decision."
Tara looked over at the time as she didn't realize how late it was getting." Hey guys. We should probably get things ready for tonight. " She said as she got up as she took her mug towards the sink.
" Need any help? " Lyla offered.
" Nah, I think I got it. Why don't you girls come back in a few hours."
" We will stop by the store and pick up few more things for tonight's Thanksgiving dinner." Lyla suggested as her and the girls started to walk out of Tara's front door after they said good bye to Tara.
Placing the fully cooked turkey in the middle of the table. Tara stepped back as she admired all the food that was on that table. Sometimes Tara still think she's feeding an whole army not just her family and the club. Which is her family as well. Hearing the sounds of motorcycles. Tara wiped her hands off and poked her into the kitchen.
" Hey Jax and the guys are here." Tara said as she turned around and headed towards the front door. Opening the door as Jax and the rest of the club was pulling up into their driveway. Walking towards Jax as he got off his Dyna.
" Hey baby." Tara greeted him with a kiss as she smiles against his lips." How did everything go in Oakland?" She asked as she felt Jax placing his arm over her shoulder as they started to walk back into the house.
" Everything went very well. I think the investors are on board." He said as he and Tara walked into the house as Tara stopped for a moment and stood in front of him as she raised her brows for a moment.
" Are you telling me, that the investors are actually going to let you expand the Auto shop in Oakland?"During their last few days of their vacation. Jax mentioned that he was thinking of opening another Auto shop in Oakland. At first Tara couldn't understand why Oakland and not Charming. But Jax explained that Alverez and the Mayans would run the Auto shop from Oakland.
Jax nods his head as he placed his cut on his hook." Yup, and Alverez said he already has a few guys that could work at the shop as well."
" It's still gonna be called Samcro's Auto shop though right?"
" Well now it's gonna be called Samcro and Mayans Auto shop."
" Samcro and Mayans Auto shop? Hmm sounds interesting." Tara said with a chuckle as she never thought Samcro and Mayans would actually work together. She knows that both clubs have finally called a truce and they had been peace with each other for quite some time now. She just never thought they would go into business together, besides the whole escort business thing.
" Yeah, I sorta thought the same thing. But it works." Jax responded with a shrug and a smirk as he leans down and kisses her passionately and deeply as he grips her waist tightly as he backs her up against the wall. Pulling away Jax growls little as he ran the tip of his tongue against his bottom lip.
" When are the rest of our guests supposed to get here?" Jax asked as he started to play with the button on Tara's jeans. Jax hasn't seen Tara all day since he's been up in Oakland with the guys and he wants to have some alone time with his wife already.
Tara smirks as she bit her bottom lip as she wrapped her arms around his neck." Oh, I think they should be arriving in about twenty minutes." Tara whispers as she leans up and kisses Jax more passionately and deeply as she groans softly against his lips.
Jax smirks against her lips as he continues to kiss Tara more passionately and deeply which suddenly got very heated as he pressed his body against hers. Reaching down for her hands, Jax pulls back once more." I think we got twenty minutes." He said huskly as he started to pull Tara towards their room.
But before Jax and Tara had the chance to get away. Their front door opened and more of their guests showed up. Jax sighs in disappointment as he watched everyone walking through his front door.
Tara saw the disappointment on Jax's face as she leans up and whispers in his ear." Don't worry you will get me later tonight." She said softly as she kisses him softly and gently before walking away from him and heading towards the kitchen.
" Hey Jax, man thanks for inviting me over tonight for Thanksgiving." Tony said as he closed the door behind him as he was the last person to walk through Jax's door.
" Let's get something straight, I didn't invite you. Tara was the one who invited you. But let me make myself very clear, while your in my house. You stay the hell away from my wife. Yeah, I know what's been going on for the past few months. That's why I been having Bobby keeping an eye on you. See Bobby once told me that you been questions about Tara and me, questions you don't have no business to ask."
" What the hell are you talking about?" Tony asked as he has no idea what's going on right now." I'm just here to have Thanksgiving with my boss and his lovely wife." Tony said with a smirk as he walked past Jax heading towards the kitchen.
Jax inhales and exhales through his nose as he watches Tony walking through his kitchen. If Jax had his way right now, Tony would be dead already. But since Tony hasn't physically touched Tara which Jax is still hoping that it won't come to that. Tony gets to breathe... for now.
" What the hell is he doing here?" Bobby asked as he stood beside Jax.
" Tara invited him." Jax answered with a sigh. Just watch him." Jax ordered again as he turned around and heading towards his bathroom to take a quick shower before joining Tara and everyone else at the table for Thanksgiving tonight.
Walking into the kitchen Bobby walked towards Tony as he slaps his hand down on Tony's shoulder hard." Jax meant what he said, stay away from Tara tonight." Bobby said in a low voice for only Tony to hear.
Tony flinched a little. " Don't worry man, I got his message loud and clear."
" Good. Because I would hate for Jax to kill you tonight. " Bobby said as he slapped Tony's back before walking away from him and walked up to Tara and gave her a kiss on her cheek before heading towards the table.
