Chapter 305 Rise of Ridley

Grud was a horrible planet to live on due to it's hazardous and spontaneous environment, hostile locals, and the crazed dangerous criminals that seemed to be lured to the planet. The only thing that was considered more crazy then the planet's environment was who was running. Many people had tried to seize control of the planet and a few of them had been successfully, though their rules were usually very very short. Frequent backstabbing and rebellions popped up and the rulers were either eliminated or were forced to flee the planet. This happened a lot, until one overlord came up with a competent plan. This overlord was an insect robot named Swarm. Swarm had started out his rise to power by creating a social network artificial intelligence program named Frenemy, who ran a social network by the same name. The network became very popular and Frenemy was used to spy on people, collect information, and steal money from them giving it all to Swarm to fund his rise to power. Swarm then used his charm and newfound wealth to forge an alliance with a large bug alien named Wallace T. Germbug and a slimy alien garbage monster named M'Lord Orus and got their forces underneath his command. Swarm then went off world and hired an army of Morbidian Blood Monks, buying Techadon Factory to build him an army of Techadon Robots, and hired a notorious space pirate known as Ridley to lead his forces. Once everything was together Swarm and his forces took control of Grud and established a new and powerful empire that surpassed all the past rulers and it seemed like no one would dare oppose Swarm.

Swarm was living the high life with a big fancy castle, an army of minions at his command, and he had a hot robot girlfriend named Maimy. Things were really going well for Swarm, but unfortunately things weren't going to last. Maimy only liked Swarm for his power and riches and Ridley who had plans to take Swarm's power as his own decided to get Maimy to aid him. Ridley summoned Maimy to a private room to talk. The two were an odd sight to see together. Ridley was a large grey being with the appearance of a dragon, with his head and neck resembling that of a pterodactyl. He also possessed a spiked segmented tail with a hooked end and two orange wings. Maimy was a tall pink female robot with a beautiful face, and a curvy physique body. Her head had a pointed chin, with a light pink cap on her head with a row of red gems along it. She had a white and pink saw blade ponytail coming out of her head, red eyes, and full light pink lips. She had hoop earrings with a beauty mark on her face. Maimy wore a dull pink dress with a pink gem in it, and had robotic lanky arms that were light pink at the ends. She had long legs that end in high heel ankle boots with a white line near the tips.

"So what did you want to see me about?" Asked Maimy looking up at Ridley.

"I plan to take Swarm down and takeover and you are going to help me." Said Ridley.

"And why would I help you? I have a good thing going, so why would I ever consider jeopardizing it?" Asked Maimy.

"Because I know you really don't care for Swarm and your only pretending to love him, so you can help yourself to his wealth. If you agree to help me I'll give you a high position of command and a great deal of wealth in return. You can be your own woman and do as you please." Said Ridley as he offered Maimy his clawed hand.

"Alright. I'm in. What do I need to do?" Said Maimy with a greedy look in her eyes as she shook Ridley's claw.

"You need to gain the access code to Frenemy to take control of him and shutdown the Techadon Factory. I'll handle the rest." Said Ridley.

Maimy nodded and went off to the throne room to see Swarm. Swarm was on his throne waiting for Maimy. He was a tall light brown robot, with a purple gem in his chest, a reptilian/insect head with six horns, purple eyes, and a mouth full of fangs. Swarm had sharp spikes on his feet and knees, two pointy grey pieces of armor that held a grey cape, four arms, two of them being regular arms with blades on the wrist and elbows, and two smaller arms that resembled the upper legs of a preying mantis.

"Hello my dear Maimy." Said Swarm.

"Hello Swarm." Said Maimy.

"I have a lovely evening planned for us tonight." Said Swarm as he stood up and went over to Maimy.

Maimy smiled and went over to Swarm and took his arm. The two of them had a nice dinner and enjoyed a little gladiator battle in one of their arenas, before they headed to Swarm's private quarters. Swarm went to rest and recharge and while he was doing that Maimy went over to Swarm's private computer and got the access code to Frenemy. Maimy told Swarm goodnight, before she left the room and headed to the Frenemy server. Frenemy was giant purple floating emoticon face. He had spikes on his head and wore lots of makeup, including a lot of blush, eyeliner and lipstick.

"Hello Maimy." Greeted Frenemy as Maimy began to hack into him and take control.

Maimy made Frenemy shutdown the Techadon Factory and all the Techadon Robots in the palace. She then told Ridley it was done and that Swarm was resting in his quarters. Ridley marched to Swarm's quarters and swatted away some Morbidian Blood Monks that jumped out of the shadows to attend him, before he smashed his way into Swarm's room. Swarm was in his charging bed and he didn't all to surprised to see Ridley.

"Hello Swarm, I'm going to take everything you have." Said Ridley.

"Figured this day would come." Said Swarm as he stood up.

"Maimy helped me gain control of Frenemy and shut your robot forces down and I don't think your Blood Monks will come to your aid in time. Right now its just you and me." Said Ridley.

"Well I'm not going without a fight." Said Swarm before he charged at Ridley.

Ridley fired a blast of plasma from his mouth at Swarm, who managed to leap over the attack and towards Ridley. Swarm swung, his wrist blades and managed to leave some scars on Ridley's chest before landing on the ground. The overlord was fixing to attack some more, when Ridley's tail shot out with some incredible speed and stabbed him in the gut stunning him. Ridley then grabbed Swarm by the arms and yanked hard ripping and separating him from his waist. Swarm sparked and gasped as Ridley dropped him to the ground.

It was then Maimy and a bunch of Techadon robots arrived on the scene. Maimy looked down at the defeated form of Swarm and then back to Ridley.

"Nice job with Swarm. Now that I have Frenemy and the Techadon robots under my command, I'm just going to destroy you and takeover Grud." Said Maimy.

"Oh I'm afraid that won't work. You see, when you shook my claw I infected you with a very deadly computer virus that will activate if you try to betray me and do me harm." Said Ridley.

"Your...bluffing." Said Maimy looking a little nervous.

"Oh I never bluff." Chuckled Ridley.

Maimy's confidence vanished and she lowered her head in defeat. Ridley signaled a couple of robots to drag Swarm away, before he broke into a wild and crazy laugh. Grud was his planet now.
