Part 5

Thawne watched as Caitlin adjusted the sensors that Barry was wearing. He could also see that they were talking softly. Not that it was any concern to him. They were married which he had not believed would cause too much of a change to the timeline. But it seemed to be having a ripple effect. But he could not change that now. At least not if he wanted to keep the time wraiths off him or those blasted Legends.

"Let's see what you can do Mr. Allen." Said Thawne

Barry met Caitlin's eyes and nodded before giving her a kiss. He then went to the start of the runway of the abandoned Ferris Air field while Caitlin moved over to the canopy they had set up with her tablet. Once he was given the signal he took off down the runway being careful not to go at his full speed. Then he let himself crash into the water barrels. He groaned as he got up. The speed that Caitlin used to get to his side you would have thought that she was a speedster.

"Barry! Are you ok?" asked Caitlin

"I think my hand and wrist are broken." Said Barry

"You are lucky if that is all it is. Come on let's get you back to Star labs so I can get some x-rays."

"Cait, I'm sorry. But you know why I had to do it."

"I know."

"Want to go see Kara and Alex with me?"

"Yeah. It will be nice to see both of them."

"We will go after you make sure I didn't do anything else."

"Yeah. I just wish that you hadn't had to do this. But I know why."

"Good. Cait there is something we will need to talk about when we are alone. What you said right before crisis."

"No we don't. Barry I said all I needed to then. You saved my life by coming into it."

"I could ask Charlie if she knows what you meant by it. You were still sharing a body and brain at the time."

"Don't you dare! Barry, I promise to explain when I am ready. I just am not ready right now."

"I am going to hold you to that."

It was two hours later when they were sitting in the cortex with Cisco and Thawne who had no idea that they knew he really wasn't Harrison Wells.

"What happened out there Mr. Allen. You seemed to lose focus out there." Said Thawne

"While I was running I started to remember something. The lighting around me reminded me of the lighting I saw in my house when I was a kid. The night my mom was murdered." Said Barry

"I see. Take the rest of the day and spend it with your wife." Said Thawne

"I will make sure he takes care of himself Dr. Wells." Said Caitlin

"Good."

Thawne left the room leaving the three alone.

"Barry, we got to get rid of that asshat soon. I don't know how much longer I can take being nice to him." Said Cisco

"Don't worry Cait and I are going to go and see Kara about using the phantom zone projector." Said Barry

"Good. The Flash suit is nearly done. Caitlin, I need your sister to stop by my place to make sure her suit fits before I finish. Oh and she is getting a mask." Said Cisco

"You can call her you know." Said Caitlin

"She scares me ok! Like you did when you ran off to join Savitar." Said Cisco

"Technically that was her. She was just pissed off that she was locked up for most of our lives. She will not hurt you. You know that right?" said Caitlin

"I know. Ok I will call her. Tell Kara if she needs a suit made I will do it."

"Pretty sure she has her own guy to do that." Said Barry

"Well let her know if she needs me to I am more then willing to make it." Said Cisco

"We will. Now go call Charlie you coward." Said Caitlin

"Gee Caitlin, you are suppose to be the nice one." Said Cisco

Caitlin just smirked and turned to her husband. Something she was still getting use to. Barry picked her up and then took off for National City.

Charlie sat in her office of the Ice Palace. She pulled out a framed photo and held it. She ran her fingers over the man in it with her. She let out a sigh. She missed him. She wished she knew what really happened to him. To the man that she loved. But had loved her sister on another earth. She was broken from her thoughts when her cell phone rang. She looked at it and answered.

"What is wrong Vibe boy? My sister better not be hurt or I will freeze your toes off."

"Girl, relax. Caitlin is fine she and Barry are actually on their way to see Kara so we can get ride of the Reverse Flash for good."

"Well then why did you call? Cause you don't call me."

"I need you to come by my apartment. I am nearly done with your suit. But I need you to try it on to make sure I remembered your measurements right. Plus you are getting a mask this time. You need to hide your identity. You are an up and coming artist and owner of a popular bar."

"I can meet you in an hour. Besides there might be something you can help me with."

"What is that?"

"Nothing that I want to talk on the phone about. But you can't tell Caity anything I tell you."

"Ok. See you when you get here."

Charlie hung up and looked at the photo.

"If you are alive I will find you. Barry may have opened Caity's heart to love. But you opened mine. I may not understand what you do for a living. But that didn't make me love you any less. I love you Ronnie Raymond and I am not going to give up on you until I know the truth."

She kissed her fingers then placed them on his face before shoving the photo back in the drawer. She then grabbed her leather jacket and headed out to meet Cisco.

Thawne paced in the time vault. Gideon still had no answers as to why his spy cameras were not working. But he was going to find out so he could get what he wants. He had not spent all these years working on this to be stopped now. He was going to return home and Barry Allen would die.
