Part 6

Barry placed Caitlin down in the alley next to CATCO worldwide media. Then both of them headed inside and went up to top floor where Kara worked. They walked down a hall until they found an office with Kara's name on it. That was another change on this Earth. Kara was the top reporter at CatCo. Barry knocked on the open door and the blond Kryptonian hero looked up. Kara broke into a big smile seeing her two friends.

"Barry! Caitlin! It's great to see you both!" said Kara coming around to hug both of them.

"You too Kara. We need a favor." Said Barry

"Well if it is the kind of favor I think it is let's close the door." Said Kara

After the door was closed the three of them sat down to talk.

"So what do you two need? I mean if it was just a hotel recommendation you would have called. I mean you are here for something other than a second honeymoon right?" asked Kara

"So you know that we are married." Said Caitlin

"Oh yeah. I have to say that was not as surprising as I thought it would be. I mean you two are really perfect for each other. Barry, I like Iris but I truly think Caitlin is a better fit for you." Said Kara

"Yeah well Iris doesn't remember how things use to be. I kind of want it to stay that way. She has a chance to be with the man she wanted to be with before he died." Said Barry

"What about you Caitlin are happy about how things are?" asked Kara

"Yeah I am. I have had feelings for Barry for a long time. Longer than I really want to admit."

"Kara the reason we are here is. We want to use your phantom zone projector to send Thawne to the Phantom Zone. We don't know if this Thawne is the same one from our Earth or not. But he is too dangerous to leave free. If this is the same Thawne he is the one that was going to steal your heart to give to your Earth-X doppleganger." Said Barry

"Oh I will never forget that. Yeah of course you can use it. Even if this a different Thawne. If he is anything like his Earth-1 counterpart he belongs in the Phantom Zone."

"Well he did the same thing he did on Earth-1. Killed Barry's mom and framed his dad. But thanks to Sara and the Legends Henry Allen was cleared and set free a few years ago and was at our wedding." Said Caitlin

"Yeah he needs to go." Said Kara

"Thanks Kara." Said Barry

"So anything other than you being an Ace reporter you would like to share?" asked Caitlin

"Remember Mon-El?"

"He is the guy that brought you with J'onn to us after you got whammied by Music Minster." Said Barry

"Yeah well seems he came to this earth a lot sooner and at a younger age. He grew up in a human family and we are dating. J'onn restored his memory and he promised not to try and contact his parents. But if they show up we might need some help."

"You know all you got to do is call and I will be here." Said Barry

"What about Frost? Will she come out to help Caitlin?"

"Uh that is another change that you may not have dug out of your new memories yet. Frost has her own body and is actually my twin sister Charlie. Well actually it's Charlene but it may not be wise to call her that to her face. She might try to see if she can freeze off Kryptonian toes." Said Caitlin

"Things really are different."

"Yeah. But I can't say I am not happy about some of them. Charlie and I just need to talk to our mother after restoring her memory. J'onn doesn't have to do that. Sara gave us a ring that can do it. Not that my mom would give anyone's secret identity away. But it should be each of your choice to tell her or not." Said Caitlin

"I appreciate that. I don't think that I know who your mom is Caitlin." Said Kara

"Dr. Carla Tannhouser founder and CEO of Tannhouser Industries."

"Wait I think she tried to recruit Alex out of college."

"She did. I had already turned her down. I wanted to make my name away from her."

"I am sure Alex would like to see you. I can call her and we can meet at my apartment. Unless you need to get back to Central City. But then again I haven't seen any reports about a streak."

"We can stick around for a little while. The Flash hasn't made his debut yet. I mean it's not like I can't get back there fast." Said Barry

"Great." Said Kara

Kara called her sister and ten minutes they headed for Kara's apartment.

Charlie knocked on Cisco's door waiting for him to open it. It only took a minute.

"Charlie glad you could make it." Said Cisco

"Yeah well I want to get out there as soon as I can. Besides I need your help with something. You got your powers right?"

"Yeah and I am not giving them up this time. Why?"

"I need you to help me find Ronnie."

"Ok not that I am against finding out if my friend is alive or not. But Caitlin is happy with Barry."

"I have no intent in breaking up my sister's marriage to the Flash. In this reality I was the one dating Ronnie Raymond."

Cisco who had been taking a drink of orange soda spit it out at that statement.

"Wait you are telling me that our resident Ice Queen is really a softy when it comes to love?"

"You tell anyone about this and that vibe you got of me trying to kill you could still come true."

"Got it. You know I thought that you and me were starting to become friends before crisis."

"We were, or are. Look Cisco, my head is still a bit screwed up from that brain dump. But I do like you as friend. In fact come by the bar tomorrow night. I might have a surprise for you."

"Look if you thinking of setting me up with someone don't. I just want to try and find Kamilia."

"Just trust me ok? Now give me my suit."

"Now that sounds like the Frosty I know!"

Charlie just smirked taking the suit and headed into the bathroom to change. She came out a few minutes later.

"You do good work. Looks just like my one from before crisis."

"That's because I made it the same. I know that you liked it."

"I did. Now let me see that mask."

Cisco handed over the mask which matched the suit. Charlie put it on and then activated her powers. Cisco watched as her hair went from the same auburn as Caitlin's though Charlie had streaks of blue and purple in it. Her skin paled and lips turned purple and eyes turned a glowing frosty blue.

"Well how do I look Vibe?"

"Like any criminal should think twice before doing something stupid in this city."

"Good. Now we just need to find a way to make changing into the suit easier."

"Ray Palmer is doing some final tests on nano tech that we can put into all of our suits."

"Good. Now are you going to help me find Ronnie?"

"Yeah you got something I can use to vibe him?"

Charlie nodded and pulled out a letter Ronnie had written her. She handed it over to him.

"You tell anyone about this letter and I will hurt you. Caity doesn't even know and I want to keep it that way."

"Trust me no one is going to hear from me that you are a big softy."

"Never call me a softy."

Cisco nodded and placed the letter down. He then placed his hands on it and closed his eyes. It only took a moment for him to know where to look.

"He is merged in an unstable bond with Stein. They are hiding under the bridge we found them under before. But without a quantum splicer we can't split them."

"Well I happen to know that Sara paid a visit to my sister and our fearless leader. She gave them a splicer."

"Well then we need to wait until they get back from visiting Kara."

"Yeah I know. I just miss him you know."

"I know. How is it that no one knew that you two were dating?"

"I didn't want anyone to know. Look Cisco I am going to go. I got this painting I want to finish."

"Ok no getting paint on the suit."

"Wouldn't dream of it."

Charlie changed then headed out. Cisco really wished he could tell someone that their favorite Ice Queen really was a romantic at heart.
