Part 9
Thawne walked through his mansion. He had to think. Something wasn't right. Things were not going the way he planned. He didn't let Caitlin or Cisco know but Barry's speed was not where it should be. He was faster than he should be at this point. There was nothing he could come up with to explain it. Just then he felt a surge in the negative speed force right before he was hit with a bolt of red lightning sending him flying across the room. When he stood up a few minutes later he grinned evilly. He was back. After going through his memories of this earth he knew that it was the Barry he had been fighting for years that was here. He was only slightly surprised to discover that Barry was with Caitlin not Iris. But that was not a major change. Nothing that will stop him from doing what he had sent out to do years ago. He was finally going to kill Barry Allen. Though he was going to have to be careful. The fact that Caitlin and Frost were two separate people maybe a complication and that Cisco more than likely has his powers back. But he would deal with those two later. Right now he was going to plan on destroying Barry for good before he ended his life.
Barry followed Caitlin into the Ice Palace. Caitlin was dressed nothing like a high school principal. She had on a pair of tight hip hugging jeans a fitted white tank top and black leather jacket with a pair of black boots. She probably looked the hottest he had ever seen her. Charlie was leaning on the bar watching them walk in. They spotted Cisco seated at the bar with a drink in front of him. Barry could see Charlie was dressed in a t-shirt for some punk band that he had never heard of had what looked like a studded dog collar on. It wasn't until they reached the bar and she stood up he could see that his wife's twin also had on a pair of jeans only Charlie's were ripped at the knees. Charlie smirked at them before grabbing a clean glass and poured Caitlin a vodka and soda with a twist of lime. She then grabbed a beer and placed the drinks in front of her sister and brother in law.
"I know the beer does nothing for you Barry. But until Caity can perfect speedster alcohol it's the best I can do." Said Charlie
"Cait, take it slow ok? I don't need you getting drunk on me." Said Barry
"Well at least you don't have to worry about me dragging you up on stage to do karaoke. Charlie thinks karaoke is lame." Said Caitlin
"Yeah but I don't need you puking in the parking lot just missing my shoes."
"That was one time and if I remember right you convinced me to go to that frat party with you in college." Said Caitlin
"Still don't need to you to get drunk."
Caitlin just rolled her eyes and took a sip from her drink.
"So Charlie who is this bartender you wanted to try and set me up with?" asked Cisco
"Here she comes now." Said Charlie
Barry, Cisco and Caitlin looked to see Kamilia Wang walking in.
"Sorry I am late." Said Kamilia walking behind the bar.
"No problem just don't make a habit of it. I am not as forgiving of tardiness as my brother in law's boss. By the way Kamilia this my brother in law Barry Allen and my sister Caitlin." Said Charlie
"It's nice to meet you Kamilia." Said Caitlin shaking her hand making sure to touch her with the memory ring.
As soon as Kamilia came in contact with the ring her eyes closed and they could see her memory was back when she reopened them. She ran back around the bar and jumped into Cisco's arms.
"Cisco! Oh my god I can't believe it is you." Said Kamilia
"I was so going to find you! I love you Kamilia." Said Cisco
"I love you too."
They kissed. Caitlin turned to her sister.
"That was a very nice thing for you to do." Said Caitlin
"I can be nice when I want to. So you talk to mom?"
"Yeah we need to be at her office by eleven so we can go to lunch with her on Friday." Said Caitlin
"Great. Just as long as I am back here by seven that night. Fridays are one of my busiest nights."
"That is why I told mom that we can do lunch. Char, you know I accept you for who you are. That I love you. You are my sister and always will be."
"Ok am I the only one that finds it weird that Caitlin and Frost are now two people?" asked Kamilia
"No. But it is not like it is the strangest thing we have been through." Said Cisco
"Kamilia and it's Charlie. Frost is my superhero name. Not that you are to spread that around." Said Charlie
"The other thing that I am trying to wrap my head around is that Barry and Caitlin are married and not Barry and Iris."
"You will get use to it. But we didn't restore Iris's memory. So if you could keep the fact that she and I were together in a different reality that would be great." Said Barry
"Yeah sure I can do that."
"Thanks." Said Barry
"Oh before I forget these are for you." Said Cisco
He then pulled two ring boxes out of his jacket pocket and slid one to Barry and one to Charlie. They both opened them to find a ring with their emblem on it.
"I was able to talk to Ray on the Waverider. He sent me the info I needed to put your suits in those rings. They are synched you your DNA and all you got to do is think about putting your suit on and it will form on you." Said Cisco
"This is great. But what about Thawne?" asked Barry
"Yeah I had this crazy vibe earlier today. I got a feeling that we are going to be dealing with our Thawne."
"You know Supergirl might want a part of his take down if that is true. I mean he was going to steal her heart for her Nazi Earth doppleganger." Said Caitlin
"Probably Sara and a few of the other Legends too." Said Charlie
"Yeah well we already have a plan and Supergirl is in on it." Said Barry
"Maybe we should continue this somewhere else. Don't want to give away any secret identities." Said Caitlin
"Yeah we will pick this up later." Said Barry
The group switched to talking about nothing important and just enjoying hanging out together. Barry and Caitlin called it an early night seeing both had to go to work in the morning. Cisco was planning to stay until close not caring about getting much sleep.
