Chapter 315 Royal Duel

In the lands outside the Slime Kingdom a huge battle arena was being constructed. A large ring had been constructed, stands had been built for spectators, and some shield generators from the Gridface Kingdom had been set up to protect the audience from harm from the fight. Word of the Royal Duel had spread through Ooo like wildfire and many people showed up to watch the duel. Slime Princess had many supporters show up. Simon, Chicle, Lolly, Alria, Shane, the humans from Gravity Falls, Rain, the Peace Protectors, Marceline, Lucinda, Henry, Lance, Bubblegum, Doctor Princess, Canyon, Lumpy Space Princess, Gata, BMO, Jake, and Jermaine had shown up to support Slime Princess. Slime Princess was a bit surprised to see all these people come support her and Patience told that's what friends do for each other. Blargetha was being supported by gnomes, slime people, Propeller Knight, and the large crew of workers from his flying ships. There was some tension concerning Bubblegum's presence at the duel. Blargetha didn't want Bubblegum at the duel and she made this very clear by storming right up Bubblegum and began yelling at her.
"I demand that you leave this very instant! You think your so clever and good by coming here to support my sister, but I can see what your really up to. Your here to observe and study my technology at work and my sister's powers at play. Its all for the sake of studying those you see as a threat to you and your kingdom, so you can come up with some underhanded scheme to destroy the Slime Kingdom or my sister, just like you tried to do with Phoebe and the Fire Kingdom. Well I refuse to let you do that! Remove yourself from this place and go back to your own precious little kingdom, because if you plan to try to pull any kind of spy stunt or sabotage my factory or kingdom, I will destroy you!"
Bubblegum was taken aback by Blargetha's anger and accusations.
"What Blargetha is saying may be harsh, but she's got a bit of a point. Bubblegum can't be trusted and she's the kind of person who would take this duel as an opportunity to study two beings she would see as a future threat to her kingdom." Muttered Marceline to Lucinda and Gata.
There was some muttering from the surrounding crowd and the majority seemed to be agreeing with Blargetha, but then Patience stepped in and began to defend her friend.
"Hey that's enough! Bubblegum is here because, I called her and told her about the duel. She's here to support Slime Princess, because she's a friend. I know Bubblegum did some terrible things to the Fire Kingdom and it's people, I won't deny that or blame you all for being suspicious of her being here. Bubblegum is here to support her friend Slime Princess and nothing more, so let's just all chill out and watch the duel."
There was some muttering and gripping from the crowd, but they all seemed to be calming down. Blargetha gave Bubblegum one last glare before wondering off to go prepare for the duel. Bubblegum turned to Patience.
"Thank you for standing up for me."
"Hey we're friends whose friendship goes back a long way, of course I have your back." Said Patience.
"It's nice to know there are still people like you that still consider me a friend." Said Bubblegum.
"Well there is. You got a friend in both me and Slime Princess. You also still might have a friend in Phoebe. I know things...haven't been exactly good between you two since that whole incident with the Fire Kingdom, but I don't want any bad blood between Elementals because I think that's just going to lead to trouble. You might not be able to mend your friendship, but you can still be civilized and live in peace." Said Patience.
"Will just have to see what happens, when Phoebe gets back." Said Bubblegum.
The two friends smiled at each other and then they went their separate ways. Bubblegum went to the stands and Patience went to go give Slime Princess a peep talk. Patience found Slime Princess near one end of the arena looking a little nervous.
"You ready for this?" Asked Patience.
"I guess so. I'm...a bit nervous." Said Slime Princess.
"Well that's normal. Your fixing to have to fight your sister and whatever crazy war weapon she brings, you'd have to be a little dumb or crazy not be nervous. Take a gulp, take a breath, and just remember you are the Slime Elemental and that you have incredible power and you can do anything with hard work and believing in yourself. I believe in you and no matter what happens will still be friends." Said Patience with a smile.
Slime Princess smiled back at her friend.
"Thank you." Said Slime Princess.
Patience walked off to take a seat next to Bubblegum and Simon in the stands. Slime Princess gulped and took a deep breath as she went out to the center of the arena. There appeared to be no sign of Blargetha and Slime Princess hopped that her younger sister had decided to forfeit the duel, but the ground the ground began to rumble and shake as a large green tank rolled onto the arena and stopped a few yards away from Slime Princess. A hatch on the top of the tank opened up and Blargetha poked her head out and grinned at Slime Princess.
"Hello sister, like my little tank? Its quit a powerful weapon and I've added a few surprises to it. This tank is a prototype and I look forward to testing it out on you." Said Blargetha.
"This surly...must be against the rules?" Said Slime Princess aloud looking over at Elder Plops, who sat in a high chair near the stands.
"It's not. As long as it is just Blargetha controlling that thing without the aid of others, it counts as a individual weapon and she's allowed to use it." Said Elder Plops.
"The rules are in my favor sister. Now you can either surrender to me or fight a battle you can't possibly win, with your silly little powers. The choice is yours, but either way I win." Said Blargetha.
"I will fight you with all my might sister. I'm fighting for my people and I will defeat you." Said Slime Princess with determination.
Blargetha just laughed as she got back inside the tank. The force field was activate and surrounded the arena as Elder Plops went into a little speech explaining the rules.
"Here are the rules of the Royal Duel. Each fighter is allowed to use an weapon or power of their choosing as long as they aren't being assisted by another individual. Anyone who tries to assist one of the combatants in the battle will get them disqualified. The winner will be decided when one combatant is either killed, knocked out, surrenders, or is unable to continue fighting."
Everything went silent as both Slime Princess and Blargetha readied themselves for battle.
"May the Royal Duel begin!" Shouted Elder Plops.
The tank immediately fired at Slime Princess, who used her powers to shoot herself up into the air to avoid the attack. The tank blast slammed into the ground where Slime Princess once stood and exploded kicking up dust and dirt. Slime Princess hovered in the air above on a jet blast of slime from her hands. She was a bit shaken up by her narrow escape from the tank's first attack, but felt confident that as long as she remained in the air she was safe and could avoid all of Blargetha's attack until the tank either ran out of power or ammo. The tank was big, so Slime Princess assumed it was slow. Unfortunately the tank was much quicker then Slime Princess thought and quickly pointed it's barrel up at her and fired. Slime Princess let out a startled yell as she just barely avoided the shot. The Elemental flew around trying to get out of the cannon's target sight, but it managed to keep her in sight and continued to fire rounds that Slime Princess barely avoided. Slime Princess tried to get directly over the tank, so it wouldn't be able to target and shoot her, but Blargetha simply drove the tank around and kept Slime Princess from getting directly above her. Slime Princess decided to try attacking the tank with her slime and a great stream of sticky slime at the tank and covered a good precent of the machine with it. The tank stopped and at first it seemed like Slime Princess's attack had put a stop to the machine, but then there came a sizzling sound and the slime began to melt off the tank revealing a faint red glow, before the tank returned to it's normal color. Slime Princess's mouth opened wide in shock as Blargetha's laug boomed out of speaker on the tank.
"Ha! You should see the look on your face sister! You honestly thought your puny slime could actually harm my tank? This tank was made to handle and deal with harsh conditions, including the freezing temperatures of the Ice Kingdom. Your slime will simply just be melted off! You don't stand a chance against me!"
Blargetha began shooting at Slime Princess agin, only this time she fired a variety of fireballs, energy balls, spikes, and nets at her sister. Slime Princess cried and yelled as she just barely managed to avoid the attacks and reached the tank's cannon. She fired a great stream of slime down the barrel preventing the tank from firing. Blargetha was simply going to melt the slime, but Slime Princess quickly took advantage of the situation. Slime Princess flew high into the air and then she used her powers to create a giant ball of hardened slime and then she dropped it right on top of the tank!
"Aaaaaaaaaaa!" Yelled Blargetha from inside the tank.
SPLAT!
The giant slime ball hit the tank with a great splash and covered and buried it. Slime Princess landed on the ground and looked at the giant pile of slime. It seemed this time the fight really was over. Patience stood up and began cheering for her friend.
"Slime Princess! Slime Princess!"
The rest of Slime Princess's supporters and friends began to join in on the cheer, followed by most of the spectators. Gnome Leader gritted his teeth in anger as he and the troops from Castle Lemongrab stared at the giant ball of slime that had landed on the tank. Elder Plops was fixing to lower the force field and declare Slime Princess the winner, when the giant slime ball suddenly began to shake and then it exploded sending slime all over the area. Slime Princess let out a gasp as she saw a large green twenty foot robot towering over her. The robot had a round thick chest, two thick legs and arms, and a big round head with a single eye.
"Say hello to my little friend!" Boomed Blargetha's voice from the robot.
"The tank was a transformer!" Yelled Bubblegum.
"That would be so cool if it wasn't fixing to try and kill our friend." Said Patience.
"Yeah that's my girl!" Cheered Gnome Leader.
"Ready for the next round?" Asked Blargetha as the robot raised it's right leg to stomp down on Slime Princess.
Slime Princess flew away using her powers as the robot stomped on the ground creating a shockwave. The robot looked at Slime Princess as she began to jet herself upwards, but in one quick movement the robot snatched her from the air with it's righthand and held her. Slime Princess cried out in pain as the robot squeezed her. The robot then loosened it's grip on Slime Princess and grabbed her left arm with it's lefthand and her right arm with it's righthand. Slime Princess's arms were trapped and her back was to the robot. A hatch opened up in the robot's chest revealing Blargetha at the controls.
"Og what a glorious moment this is. I've waited so long to destroy you sister. Don't bother trying to surrender to me, because I plan to win this by ending you." Said Blargetha with a wicked grin.
"Why...are you doing this?" Gasped Slime Princess.
"Why you ask. Fine I'll tell you. I hate you. You've always been lucky. You were the first born, so you were put in charge of the kingdom and I was considered less then you because I was younger. I devoted myself to science in hopes to better then you and get out of your shadow to prove my own greatness and worth, but then you found out you were the Slime Elemental and you had some incredible powers and people praised and loved you even more. Fate always seemed to favor you, but today that ends. Today is my day. The day everyone see my greatness and sees I'm better then you!" Said Blargetha.
Slime Princess was only partially listening to her sister talk. She was trying to figure out a way to escape. Slime Princess thought about her first encounter with her first encounter with her past life George and what he said about letting her power flow through her body and use it through different body parts. She took a deep breath and felt the power flow through her as she directed it through her body and towards an area that would save her and possibly defeat Blargetha. Slime Princess felt a tiny twitch in her back as a geyser of slime erupted from her booty!
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Screamed Blargetha as the slime slammed into her and the inside of the robot.
The robot released Slime Princess and toppled backwards towards the ground. Slime Princess stopped firing from her booty and fired some slime from her hands to gently lower herself to the ground as the robot slammed into it with a crash. The robot sparked and twitched, but remained on the ground. Blargetha crawled out missing her tiara and spitting out slime, before she collapsed to the ground groaning. The fight was finally over. The crowd looked at Slime Princess, who stared back at them for a bit and then she lifted up her arms and gave a wild and strange cheer.
"BOOTY SLIME!"
"Slime Princess has won the Royal Duel! She is now the ruler of the Slime Kingdom!" Cheered Elder Plops as the force field went down.
The crowd surged onto the arena hoisting Slime Princess up high, as Gnome Leader and King's forces gathered around Blargetha and began to leave the scene. Slime Princess looked at Blargetha, who gave her one last death glare before she vanished from sight. The Elemental made a mental note to seek her sister out and try to amend things with her, but decided to give her some time to cool off. Now was a time to celebrate for the Slime Kingdom.
