Part 12

Once through the breach Charlie ran to the creator looking for Ronnie. Barry and Caitlin went in search of Stein they found him and Caitlin used the ring to restore him memory.

"Mr. Allen, Dr. Snow once I freshen up you will need to fill me in on what exactly has happened." Said Stein

"We will Professor but it is Dr. Allen in this reality." Said Caitlin

"When did this happen? If I recall before I died I was in attendance of Mr. Allen's wedding to Ms. West." Said Stein

"Short version is. The multiverse was wiped out by this being called the Anti Monitor. Oliver became a being called the Spector and I along with six others defeated him and restored the multiverse with some major changes. Cait and I met and fall in love in college we got married two years ago. Cait and Frost are twin sisters. Supergirl, Superman both live on this Earth. Oh and the Thawne we dealt with before is back and still wants to kill me." Said Barry

"Are you happy with Mr. Allen my dear?"

"Very. I have loved Barry for a long time. I just never thought he could return my feelings." Said Caitlin

"Are you going to restore Mr. Raymond's memory?"

"That is for Charlie to decide. My sister." Said Caitlin

"I recall that I knew your parents. Charlie is not something I believe either of your parents would name a daughter."

"It's her nickname and what she wants to be called. It's really Charlene. But she hates it. I think our mom and myself are the only ones she will let get away with calling her that. She worse then Ronnie is about being called Ronald." Said Caitlin

"And seeing as she is the part of you that was Killer Frost, I take it she has ice powers." Said Stein

"Yeah and it is just Frost. She dropped the killer part seeing as she never actually killed anyone. Well maybe some Earth-X Nazis but we really don't count that seeing that was a kill or be killed situation." Said Caitlin

"We should find Cisco, Charlie and Ronnie and head back to Star Labs. We can call your wife and daughter from there." Said Barry

The three of them headed for the creator where they found Cisco standing on the edge watching Charlie and Ronnie in a lip lock.

"So Caitlin can your sister breath through her ears or something? Cause they have been like that for like five minutes and haven't come up for air yet." Said Cisco

Caitlin just shook her head and walked over to her sister and her boyfriend.

"Charlene, we need to get back. I want to check Ronnie over before you jump his bones." Said Caitlin

Charlie broke the kiss and turned to her sister.

"You are lucky I love you or I would ice blast you for using that name. Hi Professor." Said Charlie

"Nice to see you Ms. Snow." Said Stein

"Am I missing something?" asked Ronnie

"Caity maybe you should use that ring." Said Charlie

"If you are sure."

Charlie nodded. Caitlin took a breath and touched the ring to Ronnie's arm. Ronnie winced as he was hit with a bunch of new memories. He then looked at the two sisters.

"Ok it is good that I still have my memories of this Earth or else I would be freaking out at seeing two of you. But I also know that you are married to Barry Cait. I can still call you that right? Cause I know that you are not big on being called a nickname." Said Ronnie

"It's fine Ronnie." Said Caitlin

"Charlie, don't worry I still love you and you are the Snow I want to be with." Said Ronnie

"Good because you wouldn't like me when I am angry. I am literally ice now"

Charlie held up a hand and let a frosty mist rise from it.

"Let's take this back to Star Labs. ARGUS is going to cover for the explosion but it would be best if we aren't here if Eiling and his goons show up." Said Cisco

Cisco opened a breach and the six of them jumped through arriving back in the cortex of Star Labs. Once back at the labs Caitlin looked over Stein first while Ronnie talked with Charlie, Barry and Cisco.

"Are you ok Caitlin?" asked Stein

"Yeah whatever feelings I once had for Ronnie are nothing compared to what I feel for Barry. I admit it is different having a sister in this reality but I also remember growing up with her. I wouldn't give her up for anything. I don't know if Barry is the one that is responsible for the two of us having our own bodies not that I care. The last couple of months before crisis I had taken a step back and let Frost have a chance at a life. Now she really has her own life."

"That is good. I am just grateful that both Clarissa and Lilly exist in this reality."

"Do you really think Barry the paragon of love, Kara the paragon of hope or Sara the paragon of destiny or even Oliver would let the people you love most be permanently erased from existence?"

"You have a point my dear."

"Well everything looks good. Have Cisco get you some sweats to wear home after you shower. I will check over Ronnie and then we can talk about weather or not to recreate the Firestorm cure. Or possible check with our Gideon here to see if it is possible to stabilize it in one person. So if you want to stay with your family you can."

"That would be much appreciated my dear."

Stein went out into the cortex and Ronnie made his way in. It was still weird to him that he had two different sets of memories. Memories of being in a relationship with two women that looked so much alike but were so different from each other.

"Sit on the bed Ronnie." Said Caitlin

"Cait, are you ok?" asked Ronnie

"I'm fine. Let's make sure you are ok."

Caitlin began her exam trying to stay focused. But it was hard being so close to the man that in another life she had wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She could feel Ronnie's eyes on her. She finished her exam as fast she could while being thorough.

"Everything appears to be normal. Or rather normal for a metahuman that can burst into flames anyway."

"That is good. Cait, are you sure you are ok? You just seem to be on edge."

"I am fine. You should be more concerned about my sister then me."

"I know that. But we are friends right?"

"Yeah of course. But you didn't seem to think you should tell me that you were dating my sister."

"She is the one that didn't want to tell you. Said you never approve of any of the guys she dated in the past."

"Well most of them were always in trouble. But you are someone that I think is good for her."

"Uh I just thought of something. What about Eiling?"

"Don't worry about him. We know someone that is covering up things for us. Now go tell Charlie to take you home and get you some real food."

"Thanks Cait."

Ronnie headed out and left with Charlie. Cisco left with Stein to take him home while Caitlin cleaned up her lab. Barry came in and began to help her.

"Cait, you should know I can hear your thoughts. Is something bothering you?" asked Barry

"It's just seeing Ronnie again stirred up my old feelings for him. Don't misunderstand me. I love you and couldn't be happier with you. Unlike Ronnie you don't force me to do things I am uncomfortable doing. I mean you do try and get me out of my comfort zone but you let me take my time to do it. Ronnie never could understand why I didn't want to go rock climbing. I am so not athletic. You get that."

"Other than running I am not athletic either."

"Ronnie actually played football in high school and baseball as a kid. I barely passed gym."

"Charlie is a little more athletic right?"

"Yeah. I mean she only got a C in gym. But she and our gym teacher didn't always see eye to eye. But then again Coach Burns thought everyone should be able to do an Iron Man triathlon."

"I can't see you doing an Iron Man. I can't see myself doing an Iron Man. Maybe Oliver could do an Iron Man. But I don't know if he can ride a bicycle."

"Kara most likely could. How about we head home? I just want to spend some time curled up with my favorite speedster."

Barry scooped her up and they were gone in a flash of lightning.
