"Still getting use to having a physical sister rather then just one you share a body and head with?" asked J'onn walking in.
"That easy to read?" asked Caitlin
"Yes. I have a brother. Malefic, for a long time I didn't remember him. It is a long story that I would rather not get into. But due to his inability to connect to the Martian hive mind my father locked him away as a child to protect him. He caused him to grow angry and he betrayed the green Martians and helped the White Martians in our civil war that has wiped out nearly all green Martians. For his betrayal he was sent to the Phantom Zone. That was in the old reality. Mar Novu set him free as a test for me. We made peace in the end and he went to help the resistance on Mars. I need to find out if he is still in the Phantom Zone or if he is on Mars."
"I take it Kara and the rest of your team know about him?"
"Yes. Caitlin, you do know that your sister didn't bring up that boy to hurt you."
"I know. It is just a mistake that I want to forget. He pretended to like me just to use me to help him cheat."
"You know I could give Alex a call and have her look the guy up. She would have no problem going after him for hurting her friend. I found out after it happened. But when she was healing after breaking her leg and she was babysitting for a friend. She found out that this little girl was cyber bullying the girl she was watching she went and threatened to throw the kid in jail for it."
"That sounds like the Alex, Kara told me about. Thanks I do want your help. But we need to take care of Thawne, my father and rescue my mom first. I won't be able to concentrate on controlling my powers until my mom is safe. In the old reality Icicle tried to turn my mom into an ice meta with an evil personality and was going to kill off her human side for good. When Frost and I were still sharing a body he would have done the same to me. Killed me so only Frost remained."
"Except Frost wasn't willing to lose you. Caitlin, you are a smart and strong woman. One of the strongest I have ever met. You don't have to be physically strong to be strong."
"I know. But it doesn't hurt to be reminded of it by someone other than Barry."
"Always glad to help. Now let's see about getting your family back."
"J'onn, don't you know everyone here is family to me. Even you. You are like an Uncle."
"Well when you and Barry have kids just call me Uncle J'onn."
"Gladly."
Charlie watched as J'onn went to talk to her sister. She had regretted bringing up Zack as soon as she said his name. That was one thing that had not changed in this reality. Zack Myers was still the same ass he had been in the old one. He had pretended that he had liked Caitlin in order to try and get her to help him cheat. She felt Ronnie wrap his arm around her.
"Was he the same jerk he was in the old reality?" whispered Ronnie
"Yeah. Ronnie, I love my sister. But she tends to throw my mistakes in my face."
"Cait, loves you. I don't know what went on with you two in the old reality, but I do know that she loves you."
"I know she does. She hated me when I first started to break free in the old reality. But when Devoe locked me back up Cisco said that she tried everything she could to get me back. Even put her life in danger. It took Icicle nearly killing Barry, Cisco Barry and Iris's future daughter and this guy Ralph Dibney for me to break free. Long story about Barry's kid."
"I actually don't even want to know."
"Probably a good thing. She was a mini Iris with Barry's speed that teamed up with Thawne." Said Cisco
Just then Caitlin and J'onn came out of the med lab. Charlie noticed Caitlin had taken off her dampening neckless. Caitlin met her sister's eyes then Charlie heard Caitlin's voice in her head.
We're good Char. Love you.
Charlie smiled and nodded. It wasn't long before everyone headed out to find hiding places. Cisco and Felicity stayed behind to man the coms. Barry was not happy that Caitlin had to put herself in danger. But knew there was no way around it. He pulled her aside before they went to get into place.
"Cait promise me that you will be careful. That you won't take any unnecessary risks." Said Barry
"I promise. Cisco did give me a compact cold gun. I know it won't help with Icicle. But it will with Thawne."
"I know. You took off your neckless."
"I decided that I might need my powers to try and reach my dad. I thought that if I can get him to fight from inside him mind it could make it easier to stop Icicle."
"That actually is a brilliant idea. That is one of the many reasons I love you."
"Glad you love me for something other than my body."
"Hey love birds you know the coms are on!" yelled Cisco
"I think it is sweet." Said Kara
"Enough of the sappy stuff." Said Oliver
"I agree with Robin Hood." Said Charlie
"Don't call me Robin Hood Elsa." Said Oliver
"Don't call me Elsa or I will shove an icicle up your ass." Said Charlie
"Is it strange that I am turned on by my girlfriend threatening to shove an icicle up Oliver Queen's butt?" asked Ronnie
"Dude, don't go there. By the way there is a no make out rule for the Flash cave." Said Cisco
"We are not calling it that!" said Barry, Caitlin, Charlie and Ronnie
Everyone fell silent as Caitlin and Charlie approached the meeting spot. The two sisters glanced at each other as they spotted Icicle and Thawne waiting for them.
"My daughters you have come." Said Icicle
"We came but you are not our father." Said Caitlin
"Our father is Thomas Snow. Not some ice demon." Said Charlie
"I am surprised that the Flash let you come Caitlin." Said Thawne
"Don't be Thawne. He knows I am not some damsel in distress." Said Caitlin
Dad I don't know if you can here me. But if you can you got to fight Icicle. We have a way to cure you of this monster. But you need to fight him. Caitlin sent to her father.
For a single second both sisters watched as Thomas's eyes flashed brown before returning to the cold frosty white of Icicle.
Keep trying Caitlin. I can sense your true father trying to break free. Said J'onn in her mind.
Caitlin took a deep breath and tried again. She didn't even notice when the speedster battle started with Barry, Jay, Wally and Jessie going after Thawne. She also didn't notice when Kara, J'onn and Ronnie joined her and Charlie. She did notice the temperature drop near her as Charlie called on her powers.
Dad, Charlie and I love you! Mom loves you! You need to fight this monster. I want you to meet the man that I love more than anything. The man that has shown me what love is.
*I'm trying Caity. But I am not strong enough. You need to weaken Icicle. Over heat him.*
Caitlin turned to Ronnie and Kara.
"Supergirl use you heat vision, Firestorm blast him. We need to over heat him to defeat him." Said Caitlin
Kara nodded and started to fire her heat vision at the same time Ronnie threw fireballs at him. J'onn went in and punched Icicle but not before he fired off an ice dagger which would have hit Caitlin if Charlie hadn't thrown up an ice shield. Kara moved in slapping a pair of meta cuffs on the unconscious man. As soon as the cuffs were in place Icicle melted away leaving a grayer Thomas Snow than either sister remembered from this timeline. J'onn had gotten the location of where Carla was being held while Kara helped Caitlin to take her father back to Star Labs while Charlie turned her attention to helping with Thawne. Caitlin then sent Kara to help take down Thawne for good.
