Chapter 333 Invasion 10

Tobe and Iroh were facing off against Shen. The ground and surrounding area became cold and covered in ice and frost due to Shen and Iroh firing and deflecting freezing ice attacks at one another. Tobe was running about dodging attacks from Shen as he raced towards the villainous deity. The ninja reached Shen and swung his swords at him. Shen at first confidentiality stood in front of Tobe, believing his mortal weapons would just simply bounce off of him or shatter on impact, but at the last possible second some sixth sense told Shen something was different with Tobe's sword and he jumped back and just barely avoided the attack. Tobe watched his opponent leap away from him seemingly unharmed by his attack, but then a tiny cut opened up on Shen's right cheek and he began to bleed a little. Shen put a hand to his with a mild look of surprises on his face. No mortal should have been able to cut him and make him bleed. Shen took his hand off his face, examined the blood, and then he cast a look over to Iroh and everything began to make sense.
"I can't believe you crafted swords capable of injuring and killing a deity and you gave them to your former student. You should know what he is capable of, with those weapons." Said Shen looking at Iroh.
"I know my student is a different man now then, he was back then. Tobe has shown himself to be a honorable man with a good heart and I trust him with the weapons I have created for him." Said Iroh.
"Oh really? Tobe are you really going to side with the one who imprisoned you in stone for thousands of years?" Asked Shen looking at Tobe.
"I am. That punishment was brought upon me by my own actions and your manipulation of my emotions. My master only did what was best for me at the time and I've become a stronger warrior since then. I will use my master's skills and weapons to defeat!" Declared Tobe pointing his right sword at Shen.
"I think not! You shall bleed and die on these grounds!" Roared Shen as he raised his bisento high in the air and called down a hail of tiny super sharp icicles down on Tobe.
Tobe let out a warrior yell and swung his swords at the falling projectiles. He slashed and destroyed several of the icicles, but a few managed to get through his defenses and cut into his clothes and skin making him bleed a little. This would have gone on, until Tobe would have eventually sustained enough injuries and would have passed out from blood loss or have simply died, but Iroh intervened. Iroh fired a powerful blast of freezing energy at Shen, forcing him to stop his attack and leap away. Shen began to realize that fighting both Iroh and Tobe was going to be a bit of a problem, so he decided to separate the two.
"His a little special friend for you brother!" Yelled Shen as he used his powers to conjure up a forty foot giant ice snake.
The ice snake hissed loudly as it slammed into Iroh and sent him flying away. The serpent went after Iroh leaving Tobe facing Shen alone. Shen slammed the butt of his bisento to the ground causing a great frosty mist to rise up and envelope everything. Tobe lost sight of Shen in the mist. The ninja had his swords ready for combat as he made his way through the mist after Shen. Tobe traveled a few yards, when he heard Shen laughing from the right. He spun to his right and saw Shen standing there, so he thrusted his swords at him. Instead of piercing flesh the swords hit Shen and he just shattered to bits! Tobe blinked his eyes in confusion as he looked down at the shattered bits and saw that they were a bunch of ice. He then felt a surge of pain as something sliced him across the back making him cry out in pain and stumble forward. Tobe whirled around and saw a bunch of large thin mounds of ice with mirror-like surfaces. The ice mirrors displayed multiple images of Tobe and Shen. All the images of Shen grinned wickedly at Tobe.
"Welcome to my little mist of madness. Here you can't tell what is real and what is a reflection. You will be beaten both physically and mentally. Your sanity will crumble along with your body!" Laughed Shen.
Tobe gritted his teeth let out a yell and began to attack all the ice mirrors shattering them one by one, but more just kept popping up and replacing the smashed mirrors. Shen just laughed and it seemed to be coming from everywhere. There was a swift flash of movement and a slash wound appeared on Tobe's left leg, another slash wound appeared on his right arm, and another across his chest. Tobe gasped in pain and shock as Shen suddenly appeared in front of him and thrusted his bisento at Tobe's head. Tobe managed to move his head to the side and avoid the attack, but he still got a little cut on the side of his neck. Shen kicked Tobe sending him flying back. Tobe crashed to the ground a few yards away, but quickly got to his feet and saw he was surrounded by more ice mirrors. The ninja gritted his teeth in frustration. At this rate, he was going to die. Tobe took a deep breath and focused. The mist and mirrors were taking advantage of his sight and turning it into a reliability. Tobe needed to focus on his other senses if he wanted to win and survive this. He closed his eyes and began to use his other senses.
Shen was moving around the mist and mirrors observing Tobe. The ninja was still and unmoving, so that meant he was on the defensive. Shen grinned as he stepped out between two mirrors and thrusted his bisento at Tobe intending to stab him in the chest. At the last second Tobe sidestepped the blow and sliced Shen across the stomach! Shen cried at in pain and stumbled back clutching his wound. His pain soon turned to anger as he let out a roar and fired an ice beam from his bisento at Tobe, but instead of hitting the actual Tobe, he hit one of the ice mirrors with Tobe's reflection in it instead and it shattered to bits. Shen blinked his eyes in confusion and then he felt a gigantic surge of pain as Tobe appeared behind him and delivered two powerful sword swipes to his back. The villain toppled to his hands and knees and the mist began to vanish and the ice mirrors shattered to bits. Soon everything was back to normal. Shen tightly grasped his weapon as he stood up to face Tobe.
"We're...not done yet!" Growled Shen.
Tobe gripped his swords and face Shen. The two then swung there weapons and there was a loud crack followed by a brief silence. Shen's weapon fell to the ground in pieces as blood dripped from injuries from his hands.
"It's over." Said Tobe as he sheathed his swords, turned his back, and began to walk away.
Shen felt his blood boil at this. A deity bested in combat by a mortal this was absurd! Shen refused to lose! He felt sharp icicles form on the tips of his righthand as he began to charge at Tobe intending to stab him in the back! Just when, he was about to do this, Iroh appeared in front of Shen, grabbed his righthand and slammed him to the ground on his back. Shen looked at Iroh in shock, who just glared down at him with disapproval. Tobe watched Iroh and Shen wondering what was going to happen.
"So this is how the mighty Lord Shen acts in defeat? Disgraceful. Even after everything he has been through my student is more honorable then you." Said Iroh.
Shen flinched at these words not sure how to reply. Iroh waved his hands and some ice shackles appeared on Shen's wrist binding him. Iroh then turned to Tobe and bowed at him. Tobe returned the bow. It was a nice tender moment between master and student.
Elsewhere, Django was dodging gigantic foot stomps from the Pumkinator and scythe energy blast from Jack. Django would occasionally fire a scythe energy blast at the villains and the attacks would do some minor damage to the Pumpkinator or Jack would just into the path of the attacks, block them with his skull shield, and send them flying right back at Django forcing him to dodge out of the way. Jack was getting annoyed by Django's attacks, so he used his scythe to summon a bunch of creepers to surround the undead hero. The monsters surrounded Django, but he simply spun around and sliced them all to bits. Django was fixing to go back to attacking, when the Pumpkinatort slammed it's fist down right on top of him creating a large crater.
"Broken bones!" Laughed Jack as the Pumpkinatort stood back up.
Django laid on his back in the crater with a bunch of cracks running along his skull. He let out a groan as he stood up and faced his enemies.
"Alright it's time to even the playing field." Said Django as he raised his scythe high in the air.
The ground in the area began to shake and then thousands of different kinds of bonds burst out of the ground and began to gather together behind Django. Jack didn't like the look of this, so he ordered Pumpkinator to attack. Pumpkinatort charged forward and threw a punch at the mass of bones, but it was too late. The bones had combined together and formed a gigantic skeleton the size of the Pumpkinatort and had stopped the robot's fist with a large skeletal hand. The giant skeleton punched the Pumpkinatort in the chest and knocked the robot back, as Django leaped onto it's right shoulder.
"So you think just because you have a big skeleton, you think you stand a chance against me? Fat chance bone boy! You just gave me a ton more bones to break!" Laughed Jack.
"Oh your going to find out that these are some strong bones." Said Django.
The Pumpkinatort and giant skeleton charged at one another ready to duke it out. Pumpkinatort threw a punch at the giant skeleton, but it dodged the blow and delivered a couple of powerful punches of it's own to the robot making it stumble back. The giant skeleton charged at the Pumpkinatort and slam it's knee into the robot's chest knocking it to the ground. Jack snarled in anger as he had the Pumpkinatort stand back up and pull out it's wrist blasters, but the giant skeleton had a little trick of it's own. The hands of the giant skeleton turned into two large skulls with mouths full of sharp teeth and they both bit down on the Pumpkinatort's arms and destroyed the blasters and trapped the robot. The ribs of the giant skeleton then shot out and forward and stabbed the chest of the Pumpkinatort! Django raced across the arms of the giant skeleton and Pumpkinator towards Jack.
"It's time we put an end to this!" Yelled Django.
"I couldn't agree more!" Yelled Jack.
Django reached Jack and at first it seemed he was going to just simply attack with his scythe. Jack raised the skull shield to defend himself, but instead of attacking Django jumped and flipped over the villain taking him completely by surprise. As Django reached the ground behind Jack, he swung his scythe and sliced Jack off at the knees! Jack cried out in pain and surprise as he toppled forward and lost the grip on the skull shield. Django ran forward and delivered a powerful kick to Jack's face knocking him a few yards back as he picked up the skull shield. Jack was a bit dazed from the kick to the face, but his legs were already growing back and he managed to stand up. He fired a powerful scythe blast at Django, who blocked it with the skull shield and sent it right back to Jack. Jack only had enough time to scream as the blast hit him with a loud boom and his scythe went spinning into the air. Django saw the spinning weapon and fired a scythe blast at it. The blast hit and the scythe exploded into pieces!
"NNNNOOOOOOO!" Screamed Jack in dismay.
All around Olympia all the creepers suddenly stopped moving and collapsed into piles of dust, removing a great threat to both the defenders and Ridley's forces.
Up in space, aboard the Shard, the creepers that had been working the ship's guns burst into dust. Xeexi looked at the piles of dust in shock and that shock turned into panic as he realized the Shard was defenses against the Frenemy controlled Dominator ship. Dominator's ship fired away at the Shard and the other ship began to explode and fall towards the planet below. Xeexi raced through the ship and quickly found an escape pod. He jumped in and the pod shot out and away from the Shard and towards the planet below. The Shard continued to fall towards the planet.
Back on Olympia, Jack was trying to attack Django with his bare hands, but the undead easily sliced the villain's arms and legs off and kicked him off the Pumpkinatort to the ground below. Django then heard a noise from above and saw the falling Shard heading right towards his area! The undead hero had the giant skeleton release the Pumpkinatort as he jumped onto it. The giant skeleton ran from the area as Jack's limbs grew back and he looked up to see the falling ship coming at him and the Pumpkinatort!
"Oh...crab!" Thought Jack a few seconds before the Shard slammed right on top of him and the Pumpkinatort and exploded.
The giant skeleton ran a few hundred yards away from the crash site and came across Xeexi's escape pod. The pod opened up and Xeexi took one look at the giant skeleton and Django and raised his arms in the air.
"I surrender." Said Xeexi.
Django cuffed Xeexi with some bone shackles and then he had the giant skeleton trap the villain in a bone cage in it's chest, before going back to the crash site. Jack was stumbling out of a pile of wreckage battered and bruised as Django arrived on the scene.
"Your despicable." Groaned Jack with one last glare at Django before he collapsed to the ground unconscious.
Django shackled Jack and caged him with Xeexi, before he made his way back to the Capitol.
"A job well done." Thought Django with pride.
Back up in space aboard Mechizmo, Techmo was plugged into the mech's computer and entertaining cyberspace to fight Frenemy and free all the machines under his control. Techmo's data form looked a lot like like his real world counterpart, minus all the robot parts. The Technomancer found himself in a dark maze of data and according to his scanners he needed to find the exit to find Frenemy and face him. Techmo began to make his way through the maze, when he heard a loud chomping noise from behind him. He turned to see a giant Frenemy head coming at him chomping it's jaws.
"Feeding time! Got to crunch some data!" Laughed the Frenemy head as it began to chase after Techmo.
Techmo began running with the Frenemy head in hot pursuit. He went left, right, right, left, left, right, left, and right and the head continued to pursue him. After many more turns Techmo saw the exit and the door was closing down! Techmo put on an extra burst of speed and slid under the door right before it closed and the Frenemy head ended up crashing into it with a loud bang! The Technomancer stood up and dusted himself off as he found himself in a large room with wires and computer screens scattered about. There was a flash of light and Frenemy appeared in the center of the room and grinned at Techmo.
"I must admit I'm impressed. This is the first time someone has traveled to my world and reached me. You and I are going to have some real fun!" Laughed Frenemy.
"Playtime is over Frenemy! I've fought my fare share of rogue artificial intelligence programs, so I know how to handle your kind." Said Techmo as he pulled a strange looking glowing disk from his coat.
"Bring it!" Laughed Frenemy as he fired lasers from his eyes.
Techmo jumped out of the way and threw the disk. It flew through the air and struck Frenemy making him shout in pain and leak data. Frenemy roared in pain and unleashed a blast of fire at Techmo causing his coat to catch fire. Techmo stopped, dropped, and rolled to put the fire out, which made Frenemy laughed. Techmo shot to his feet and threw his disk at Frenemy who managed to dodge it this time and the disk flew by him and towards a wall.
"You missed!" Laughed Frenemy.
"Did I?" Asked Techmo with a grin.
The disk hit the wall and bounced off of it striking Frenemy in the back before it bounced off another wall and returned to Techmo's hand. Frenemy cried out in rage and he began to fly around the room like cray breathing fire and firing lasers from his eyes forcing Techmo to dodge and roll about to avoid getting hit. Techmo watched Frenemy fly around for a bit and then he hurled his disk making it bounce off another wall and strike Frenemy in the middle of his head. Frenemy cried out in pain and fell to the ground as more data leaked out of him. Techmo walked over to Frenemy plugged a wire into and summoned up a holographic keyboard. He began to type on it and began removing Frenemy's data from all the machines that had been under his control.
"Hack complete now to make a few adjustments and things will be alright." Said Techmo as he typed a few codes.
In the real world Dominator's ship returned to normal and all the robots stopped attacking Black Cube and the rest of the crew. On Olympia all of Dominator's robots stopped attacking and suddenly began to either shutdown or retreat from the Capitol. Mechizmo pointed his cannon down at the planet and began to start zapping all the robot turned Spartan and Lebidopterins returning them to normal. Dr. Cerebral saw this and scowled.
"My job is done here." Said Techmo as he unplugged himself from Frenemy and left cyberspace.
"You...will pay for this." Growled Frenemy.
Techmo returned to the real world, unplugged, and quickly rolled out of the chair he had been sitting in as Dr. Cerebral brought his fist crashing down smashing the chair to bits. The Technomancer stood up and faced his enemy.
"I thank you for removing that virus, but now our truce is off. Now prepare to be destroyed!" Yelled Dr. Cerebral.
"Not today!" Yelled Techmo as he ripped a sparking cable out of one of the computers and slammed it into Dr. Cerebral and shocked him with it!
Dr. Cerebral yelled in pain and then he backhanded Techmo to the other side of the room. The villain recovered and pointed his cannon arm at Techmo, but he threw his sword at him and it stabbed into the cannon making it explode and ripped a big hole into Dr. Cerebral's metal body. Techmo rushed at the wounded and staggering villain, shoved his hands into the hole, and began ripping wires out. The robot body spasmed and then it powered down. Techmo grabbed the dome and ripped it off of the body.
"Looks like I win." Said Techmo.
"Curse you!" Snarled Dr. Cerebral from within his dome.
Techmo summoned his ship to dock with Mechizmo and then he set the mech to self destruct. He quickly got into his ship and flew off with the captured Dr. Cerebral a few minutes before Mechizmo exploded into bits.
Thus another battle was won and the invasion was reaching it's climatic end.
