Chapter 334 Invasion Final

As most of the main fighting for the invasion was coming to a close for the invasion a great three way fight was going on between Finn, Phoebe, Hookocho, Dominator, and Ridley. Ridley took to the sky and unleashed a blast of plasma from his mouth at the other fighters forcing them to dodge out of the way. Dominator turned her arms into magma cannons and fired a few balls of magma at the pirate. Ridley dodged a few of the shots and then he slashed one to bits with his claws sending shards and bits of magma raining down. A bit of magma hit Hookocho's cape and caused it to catch on fire, but the villain quickly put the fire out and glared up at Ridley with both anger and annoyance. Hookocho fired a blast of electrical energy up at Ridley and it struck him making him spasm and roar in pain before, he began to plummet to the ground below. Finn used his Olympian Power to leap high in the air and deliver a powerful punch to Ridley's chest sending the pirate flying back and smashing into a building a dozen yards away with a mighty crash. Finn was just landing back on the ground, when Hookocho tried to attack him from behind with an electrical blast of energy, but a fireball fired from Phoebe slammed into his chest and knocked him to the ground. Dominator tried to attack Phoebe with a solid ice sword, but Finn quickly leaped in front of Phoebe and deflected the attack with his own sword, before he pushed Dominator back and began to fight her. Hookocho got back to his feet and tried to attack Finn again, but Phoebe stood in his way armed with a flame sword and began to fight him.
Dominator grinned as Finn pressed forward with his attack forcing Dominator back. The two swung their swords at one another and locked blades. Finn glared at Dominator, who simply smiled back at him.
"Your fighting sills are quit impressive Finn. It's been a long time since I've faced anyone with your skill level and I can see you'll become even stronger in time. You truly are amazing!" Said Dominator.
"You know if you weren't a crazy psychotic world conqueror that wasn't trying to conquer my mother's planet and if you weren't working with some of the worst criminals in the universe, I would take that as a compliment, but I won't." Said Finn shoving Dominator back.
"Oh you really do know how to charm the bad girls. Now I want you even more now!" Said Dominator as she leaped back from Finn and fired a freeze blast at him.
The blast struck Finn and froze everything except his head and shoulders. Finn just looked down at the ice in annoyance.
"Cheap trick." Said Finn.
"Oh you just need to chill out for a bit. Now that we have a moment why don't we make a little deal. If you agree to join me now I will cease attacking this world and call off my forces. I'll help you and your friends in defeating Shadow Spite and Ridley's, fix what damages caused in the invasion, and to protect your planet. I'll send out a big message to the universe and every criminal and warlord out there will know that Olympia is under my protection and to stay away." Said Dominator.
"You seem pretty sure that simply saying Olympia is under your protection will keep criminals and warlords away." Said Finn.
"Oh trust me it will. I've earned a name and reputation for myself and all the smart criminals and warlords no not to mess with unless they got a death wish or something. Now the protection of Olympia will be guaranteed if you simply agree to join me and serve by my side. We can have one hell of a time and think about what the two of us can accomplish together. We could rule the universe as boyfriend and girlfriend and maybe after some time passes as husband and wife! So what do you say?" Said Dominator with a grin as she offered a warm heated hand to Finn.
Finn looked at the hand and at Dominator. He closed his eyes took, a deep breath, and with a mighty flex of his Olympian Power he shattered the ice surrounding him and broke. A slight frown appeared on Dominator's face as Finn faced her with a glare and his sword pointed at her.
"No deal Dominator. If I took your deal, I would betray my family, my friends, and everything I stand and believe in. I'm not going to take some dirty shortcut no matter how tempting or easy it is. Besides my heart already belongs to someone else and I have no intention of taking it away and giving it to you." Said Finn.
"Oh now your just being a stubborn fool. I offer you love and the universe and you throw all away for some dumb ideals and some flame chick. Guess I'm just going to either have to destroy you or beat you till you see reason." Said Dominator before she leaped forward swinging her ice sword at Finn.
Finn swung and met Dominator's blade with his own. There was a mighty crack as Dominator's ice sword shattered to bits and she went skidding back from Finn. Dominator gritted her teeth in frustration as she conjured up some magma on her right arm and shaped into a large ball and chain. She swung the ball and chain at Finn forcing him to roll out of the way. Dominator laughed as she swung the ball and chain up and then down at Finn. Finn swung his sword up and sliced the ball in half and the two halves crashed to the ground on either side of Finn. Dominator was a bit annoyed by this, but she quickly came up with a new plan of attack. She whipped the chain around and wrapped it around Finn's left leg and with a mighty yank she yanked Finn off his feet, swung him through the air, and smashed him into a wall of a nearby building. Before Dominator could yank Finn back up and swing him through the air again, Finn sliced through the chain and freed himself. Dominator conjured up a magma sword and charged at Finn who quickly got to his feet and met her charge. The blades clanged loudly as they met and Finn and Dominator began to fight back and forth.
Close by Phoebe and Hookocho were exchanging sword blows. The two would slash at each other for a bit and then they would lock blades. Sparks flew as they blades pressed against one another and Phoebe and Hookocho locked eyes with each other.
"I must admit your quit a skilled fighter young one. I would even go far as to say your a better fighter then some of my comrades. Yet here you are wasting your talents protecting this sorry little planet. If you joined Shadow Spite, your skills would be put to very good use." Said Hookocho.
Phoebe just gritted her teeth and shoved Hookocho back and glared at him. After taking a moment to regain her composure and cool down Phoebe spoke.
"You see me and my flames as nothing more then tools of destruction to serve you. You believe that fire is nothing more then a weapon, we guess what, you're wrong. Fire isn't just a weapon and I'm not just a destructive force. I meet people who saw me as so much more and they all showed me love and kindness. This world is important to one of the people I love most, his a man that would deny nature to be with me and I would do the same for him. For his sake I will use my flames to vanquish the evil that threatens this world and toast your sorry buns!"
"Such a rousing little heartfelt speech, but I'm afraid it'll take more then that to beat me." Said Hookocho as he raised his sword to fight.
Phoebe fired an intense and concentrated blast of heat at the sword, melting it a little and burning Hookocho's hand a little in the process. Hookocho cried out in pain and dropped the sword. Phoebe tried to rush Hookocho, but he fired electrical energy that wrapped the flame woman and lifted her up in the air. Hookocho slammed Phoebe to the ground and into the walls of some nearby buildings a few times. Phoebe gritted her teeth in pain and then she activated her blue flame from and broke free from the attack with a small burst of blue flames. Hookocho stumbled back a few steps from the burst of flames and was fixing to launch a counterattack, when another person joined in on the fight. Ridley came flying at Hookocho and Phoebe swinging a large wooden beam at them. The beam struck the two fighters and sent them flying and crashing to the ground near Finn and Dominator making them stop fighting and look at Ridley in surprise.
"Take this!" Yelled Ridley as he hurled the wooden beam at Dominator.
Dominator turned her righthand into a giant magma arm and punched the flying wooden beam and shattered it to bits! As soon as the beam was destroyed Ridley flew at Dominator, slammed into her, and sent her tumbling and skidding across the ground. Ridley then swung to face Finn and struck him, with his claws sending the hero crashing into the wall of a nearby building.
"Your no match for me!" Laughed Ridley.
"Oh I've just had it with you!" Yelled Dominator as she stood up and fired several sharp icicles at Ridley.
Ridley cried out in pain as the icicles scratched up his body and ripped holes in his wings. Dominator attacked Ridley for several seconds and then she turned her attention to Phoebe who was just getting up on her feet and fired a ice blast at her back. The blast struck Phoebe and she cried out in pain as ice began to form on her back and her flames became dull and she fell on her face.
"Phoebe!" Cried Finn in alarm.
Finn was fixing to rush to Phoebe's aid, when Ridley popped up on his side and was fixing to to blast him with plasma. The hero's eyes went wide as he prepared to brace himself for the attack, when Atalanta came flying in and delivered a powerful punch to the side of Ridley's face sending the villain reeling back. Atalanta was in full protective mother bear mode as she rushed at Ridley and delivered one devastating punch after another to Ridley's face and body.
"You will not harm my son monster!" Roared Atalanta as she delivered a powerful punch into Ridley's gut and made him fall to his hands and knees.
Atalanta then got behind Ridley and grabbed by his tail. She then began spinning around lifting Ridley into the air. After a few seconds Atalanta let go and Ridley was sent flying through the air!
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Ridley as he tumbled and flew through the air before crashing on the other side of the Capitol.
Atalanta dusted her hands off and faced her son. Before any words or thanks could be said, Hookocho appeared behind Atalanta and zapped her with electrical energy making the goddess scream in pain and fall to her hands and knees.
"Mom!" Cried Finn as he leaped at at Hookocho.
Hookocho saw him coming and quickly zapped Finn with electrical energy making him fall to the ground thrashing around in pain. Hookocho just laughed in evil glee as he lifted both mother and son into the air with his electrical energy and slammed them into the ground hard.
Dominator glanced over at Hookocho not exactly with what she saw, but she had another matter to attend to. Dominator turned her attention to Phoebe and blasted her with another freeze blast as she walked towards the down hero. Phoebe cried out in pain from the freeze blast and a cruel and wicked smile spread across Dominator's face.
"You and I had a good run, but it's time to snuff this flame out!" Laughed Dominator as she prepared to blast Phoebe with more freeze blasts.
Before Dominator could attack a fireball slammed into her chest and knocked her back followed by another and another. Dominator looked up to see Sarah charging at her.
"Stay away from my daughter!" Yelled Sarah as she threw a fireball at Dominator's face that exploded and blinded the villain.
Dominator stumbled back blindly as she rubbed at her eyes. Sarah rushed to her daughter's side and began to use her flames to melt the ice and frost off of her. Phoebe's flames began to glow with color and she began to look healthier as she looked at her mom.
"Everything is going to be ok sweetie." Said Sarah with a reassuring smile.
"Thanks mom." Said Phoebe as she felt her power return and she began to get back to her feet.
Dominator's sight began to return and she faced the two fire people with murder in her eyes.
"That does it! I'm icing both of you!" Yelled Dominator as she fired a powerful freezing blast from her hands.
"It's you whose about to get burned!" Yelled Phoebe as her flames turned white and she fired a burst of flames.
The two elemental attacks slammed into one another a power struggle began. Both fighters mustered everything they had trying to overtake each other and for a while they seemed evenly matched. Then Phoebe's flames began to slowly push through Dominator's freeze blast. Phoebe gritted her teeth and put more energy into her attack and it started to cut through Dominator's attack and make it's way to Dominator herself. Dominator's eyes went wide in shock as the flames went through her attack and slammed into her, burning parts of her clothes and body and knocking her helmet off.
Phoebe took a deep breath and began to walk towards Dominator. Dominator scrambled to her feet, conjured up a large magma fist covered in sharp spikes on her right arm, and swung it at Phoebe. Phoebe meet Dominator's fist with her own and there was a loud explosion as Dominator's magma fist exploded and the villain stumbled back crying in pain as her arm hung loosely by her side. Dominator's eyes glowed with rage and pain as she tried to attack Phoebe with her other arm, but Phoebe quickly delivered a powerful punch to her face and sent the villain flying and crashing through the wall of a building several yards away. Phoebe walked to the building and looked through the hole for Dominator, but there was no sign of her. There was a hole on the left side of the building and it appeared that Dominator had made it and fled the scene. Phoebe let out a sigh and her flames returned to their normal red color as Sarah ran over to her.
"Phoebe you were amazing! I'm so proud of you!" Said Sarah as she hugged her daughter.
Phoebe smiled and returned the hug.
A few hundred yards away Dominator limped through the streets making her way back to the hole in the Capitol wall. On the way there she saw Ling, Mimi, Topaz, Lapis, Peridot, and several other defenders fighting Ridley's Morbidian Blood Monks. Dominator managed to reach the hole and went outside the Capitol and made a call to Mandie to come get her. Mandie showed up in a small ship and Dominator got in. The two flew up and towards Dominator's ship.
"I will beat that Phoebe girl next time we battle and I will beat her. Then I'll claim Finn as mine and destroy this world." Vowed Dominator silently.
Back at the Capitol, Hookocho was still blasting Finn and Atalanta with his electrical energy and keeping the son and mother pinned to the ground. Hookocho was enjoying himself and taking great pleasure in his enemies' suffering.
"Isn't this great! I've waited a long time to do this. Now who should I kill first? The mother or the son? Decisions. Decisions." Said Hookocho.
"Over my dead body!" Yelled Martin as he came running onto the scene and tackled a started Hookocho to the ground.
The electrical energy attack stopped allowing Finn and Atalanta to move agin. Martin and Hookocho rolled across the ground wrestling with one another and Martin managed to get in a few good punches to Hookocho's face. Hookocho wrestled with Martin, until he finally got a good look at the human and recognized him. The sight of the human that had ruined Hookocho's plans all those years ago filled Hookocho with a great rage.
"YOU! How dare you interfere with my plans again! I will make you suffer for what you did last time!" Yelled Hookocho as he ended up on top of Martin and began to pummel his face violently.
Martin was pounded hard and got a broken nose, a busted lip, bruises all over his face and a black eye. Hookocho eventually stopped pounding Martin, got up, and delivered a few kicks to his chest and gut. The villain turned and began to walk away from Martin to go attack Finn and Atalanta. Martin groaned as he sat up and threw his blaster at Hookocho's back. Hookocho spun around and easily caught the blaster in his righthand and raised an eyebrow at Martin.
"So you had a gun, but instead of shooting it at me, you threw it at me instead. I really must have given you some brain damage." Said Hookocho.
"Actually...my mind is still sharp and you did exactly what I wanted you to do." Said Martin with a weak and pained smile.
Hookocho looked at Martin in confusion. He then felt the blaster in his hand began to heat up and then it exploded and knocked Hookocho to the ground.
"Overloaded my blaster's power cell to give it a kick." Said Martin as he got to his feet.
At first it seemed Hookocho was down for the count, but then the villain stumbled to his feet with a look of absolute rage on his face. The exploding blaster had left some burn scars on Hookocho's right arm and face and it appeared that his right eye was bloodshot.
"Well that's not good." Thought Martin with worry.
"I have had ENOUGH! I'm going to unleash all my power and destroy this entire city and everyone in it! Once I'm done I will scorch every square inch of this worthless world and turn it into a wasteland that will serve as a reminder to the universe what happens to those who defy Hookocho!" Roared Hookocho as he raised his hands high in the air.
Massive amounts of electrical energy began to surge from Hookocho's hands and spread around the Capitol like a crazy storm. Bolts of lightning struck and destroyed buildings as well as strike and instantly kill Spartans, Lebidopterins, and Morbidian Blood Monks. Hookocho laughed like a deranged mad god as Martin stared at him in horror. The only thing keeping the energy storm contained and from spreading to other parts of the world was the shield dome. If this kept up the Capitol would utterly be destroyed. Martin had to do something. He took a deep breath and was fixing to launch himself at Hookocho, when he sensed something from above that made him look up. A bunch of electrical energy was circling up above and was fixing to strike down at Martin! Martin closed his eyes ready to meet his end, when he felt something grab him around the waist and carry him away with incredible speed. There was a loud boom and Martin opened his eyes to see the spot he had been standing at a few seconds ago had been reduced to a smoking crater. Martin saw that he was a few hundred yards away from Hookocho and that it was Finn that had rescued him. Finn looked at his battered father in concern.
"I'm fine. It looks worse then it is." Said Martin causing Finn to relax a little.
Atalanta appeared next to the two men and the three of them watched Hookocho.
"We need to end this quickly. Finn we both need to combine our power to finish Hookocho off in one blow or things will spiral into complete chaos." Said Atalanta.
"Understood. I have your back mom." Said Finn with a nod.
Atalanta and Finn focused their Olympian Power and they took off running towards Hookocho with incredible speed. Lightning struck at the mother and son, but the two of them managed to dodge it and got close to Hookocho. Hookocho saw them coming and swung his hands at the two, as if he was trying to claw them to death with his bare hands, but it was too late.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Roared Finn and Atalanta as they punched Hookocho in the chest!
KABOOM!
"Nnnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Hookocho as his chest armor shattered to bits and the punches connected with his skin sending him soaring high into the air.
Hookocho flew up and ending up smashing into the top of the dome shield. He stayed there for a second and then he plummeted to the ground and crashed. Hookocho laid on the ground barely alive and unconscious. The energy storm vanished and everything started to settle down.
Ridley and the remains of his attack force made it to the drop ship, got in, and left the planet to return to their ship. To live and fight another day.
At the Capitol all the heroes were regrouping and helping out with the repairs and injured. The captured members of Shadow Spite were gathered up and taken to the dungeon as the heroes told one another about their battles. Finn was helping his mom tend to his father, when he saw Phoebe standing a few yards away. Without saying a word Finn ran to Phoebe and the two of them embraced and kissed one another.
The invasion was over.
