Part 31

Caitlin woke curled up in Barry's arms. She snuggled closer. She felt his arms tighten around her.

"Morning beautiful." Mumbled Barry into her hair.

"Morning. Have I told you how much I like waking up in your arms?"

"Every day. But I enjoy it. Cait, I get the feeling that we are being watched."

"Think that we will have to deal with Zoom again?"

"Possibly. But we won't fall for his claim of being Jay Garrick."

"We should check on Jay and Joan make sure they haven't disappeared on us."

"Good idea."

"Barry, don't worry about me. I will not be falling for Hunter this time. I know that he is not anyone I want in my life. Besides why would I want someone that only wants to hurt people when I have a real hero."

"I am no hero."

"You're mine. You always save me."

"I seem to recall that last time you saved yourself from Zoom. Besides you are mine. You always know what to say."

Just then an alert went off on both their phones. Caitlin grabbed hers and saw it was Cisco. She called him to find out what was going on.

"Cisco what is wrong?"

"You and Barry need to get to Star Labs. Your sister and Ronnie are on their way so are Wally and Jesse. We got someone that wants in. Someone that none of us want to see again."

"Who Cisco?" asked Caitlin

"Well he charmed our dear doctor in the old reality. Lucky we now have ways to keep unwanted guests out of our home away from home."

"Zoom. We are on our way." Said Barry

Caitlin hung up and in less then a minute both she and Barry were dressed. Two minutes later they were in the cortex.

"Well the good news is the anti speedster force field works. He hasn't been able to get in." said Cisco

"Good. Show us where he is." Said Barry

Cisco brought up the camera outside the main entrance to Star Labs.

"I told everyone to come in the side entrance." Said Cisco

A few minutes later the others arrived.

"I hoped that I would never have to see him again." Said Jesse

"Don't worry he is not going to come after you this time." Said Barry

"I know. But I just never wanted to see him again." Said Jesse

"You and me both." Said Caitlin

"Turn on the intercom. Let's find out what story he is going to try and sell us." Said Barry

Cisco nodded and hit the button that turned on the intercom.

"This is private property. What business do you have?" asked Barry

"My name is Jay Garrick and I need to speak with the Flash. I have traced his movements here."

"There is no Flash here. And I know you are lying about your name. I know Jay Garrick and you are not him. I have a member of my security team running facial recognition on you so tell me who you really are and why you think the Flash would be here." Said Barry

Everyone could see that the man who claimed to be Jay was not expecting them to catch him in his lie.

"If you aren't going to tell us then leave and don't come back." Said Barry

"Ok fine my name is Hunter Zolomon and I came to warn the Flash that there is a demon speedster called Zoom that is going to come after him and steal his speed. I was a speedster until he stole my speed. If you let me in I can help you to stop him."

"Not going to happen. No unauthorized people can come in. You lied about your name so there is no way I am going to trust you."

"I just want to help you."

"Mr. Zolomon go before I call the police and have you arrested for trespassing."

They watch as Hunter turned and left. Cisco shut down the intercom and Barry turned to his team.

"Jesse, go check on Uncle Jay and Aunt Joan. Cisco, and Wally make sure we have everything we need to stop Zoom including an anti speedster cell in the pipeline." Said Barry

The three nodded and headed off to complete their tasks.

"What can I do to help? I mean I don't know anything about this Zoom." Said Ronnie

"Zoom is an evil speedster that tried to destroy the multiverse stole Barry's speed and kidnapped Caity. Before becoming a speedster he was a serial killer on Earth-2." Said Charlie

"He also tricked us into thinking that he was the Flash of his Earth." Said Barry

"Barry maybe you should head to CCPD and see if Joe and Eddie can find anything out on Hunter Zolomon here. I have a feeling that he might be just as dangerous as he was before." Said Caitlin

"Good idea."

Barry kissed his wife and took off.

"You two go get a ring so you can tell the rest of the team and mom and dad you are getting married." Said Caitlin

"Do we have to tell the parents? I mean it's not like I am really looking forward to spending any time with them." Said Charlie

"Yes. Char they love us. They made some bad choices but they love us. I mean when Barry and I have kids we are going to let them be part of their lives."

"So when are you going to make me an aunt? I mean I can't wait to spoil your kids."

"Um I am not sure. It will happen when it happens."

Caitlin walked off into the med lab glad that she had control over her powers. Because she sure as hell didn't want her sister to know that she had woken up this morning thinking she might be pregnant before she knew for sure or told Barry.

Barry arrived at CCPD and headed right over to Joe and Eddie's desks.

"Hey Bare what's up?" asked Joe

"Joe, Eddie maybe we should talk about this with Captain Singh. We had an unannounced visitor to Star Labs this morning. Don't worry he didn't get in. But we need to tell Singh. Eddie, you also need to be told about this guy. He showed up after you died." Said Barry

"Let's go." Said Joe

It was only a couple minutes later the three of them were sitting in Singh's office.

"So what is going on Allen?" asked Singh

"Well Captain it appears that Zoom will be showing up soon. Hunter Zolomon showed up at Star Labs this morning."

"Hunter Zolomon? Are you sure?" asked Singh

"Yes why?" asked Barry

"Because Zolomon is a convicted murderer who was sent to the electric chair the night of the particle accelerator explosion." Said Singh

"So he got his powers nearly the same way he did on Earth-2. There he was a serial killer that was sent to an asylum for the criminally insane and under went electoral shock treatment." Said Barry

"If he has been around since the particle accelerator explosion why haven't we heard about him until now?" asked Eddie

"Yeah it's not like he is the type to lay low." Said Joe

"We need to look into it." Said Barry

"Bare, it might be time to bring Patty into this. She was a target last time of Zoom's." said Joe

"I know she also had figured out that I was the Flash."

Everyone headed out with Barry heading up to the lab to talk to Patty and restore her pre crisis memory.
