Part 38
Barry after giving Caitlin a few minutes to calm down went to find her. He found her on the balcony of the lounge and went up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist. She leaned back into him letting him hold her.
"I meant it Barry. If my father even thinks about doing anything to our child like he did to my sister on this Earth or me on the old Earth I want you to dump him on Lian Yu." Said Caitlin
"You know that I will. I think that you should give your dad his memory of the old Earth. Then he might understand your anger better."
"I am not ready to. Besides Charlie would have to agree as well."
"True. Let's get Iris back then we can deal with your family drama."
"Let's go. I will watch everyone's vitals from here. Cisco will be on coms."
"My dad is on standby at his clinic to check Iris over for possible injuries."
The two of them headed back to the cortex. Caitlin took her seat at her computer. After everyone changed into their suits she made sure all the censors were working. After the team headed out Carla headed into the med bay to make sure it was ready in case Caitlin needed to treat anyone that maybe injured.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" asked Thomas
"Just stay out of the way. I can handle this." Said Caitlin
Thomas sighed. He had no idea what to do to make things right with either of his daughters.
Barry and the rest of his team arrived at Central City Park to find Zoom waiting with Iris.
"Let the girl go." Said Barry
"Flash, I will only after you agree to my terms. Your speed, the old man's speed and the speed of your pathic sidekicks." Said Zoom
"Yeah tell me why I shouldn't just turn you into a popsicle?" asked Frost
"I will spare the lives of your family. You wouldn't want to lose your sister would you?"
"You will never hurt the people I love!" yelled Frost
Barry looking to see Frost's eyes glowing with power looked at Ronnie and the other speedsters. They nodded and before Zoom could react Kid Flash grabbed his sister taking off. Then Quick and Jay joined Barry in building up enough speed to throw a lighting bolt at the same time Ronnie threw a fireball and Frost let out a powerful frost blast. Taken by surprise Zoom was not able to dodge the full attack. One lighting bolt and part of the frost blast hit him. Now really angry Zoom attacked knocking Frost and Jay to the ground then grabbing Jesse and sending a jolt of lighting through her body. When Jesse fell to the ground she was not moving.
"Flash what happened? Quick's vitals skyrocketed and now have dropped dangerously low." Came Caitlin's voice over coms.
"Zoom electrocuted her with a punch. Kid Flash is back I am sending him back with her Prophet."
"Med bay is ready and waiting. How are Frost and Jay?"
"Don't worry about me Prophet takes more than a demon speedster to keep me down." Said Frost already on her feet.
"I may not be as young as I use to be. But I can still take a lickin and keep on tickin." Said Jay
"Change of plans. Vibe send me the cure. Zoom is getting stopped now and for good." Said Barry
A breach opened next to Barry and an injector came through. Barry picked it up and turned to his teammates and friends.
"Keep him distracted while I inject him. Frost try and freeze him in place long enough for the cure to work." Said Barry
"You got it Flash." Said Frost
Frost smiled as she sent a blast of frost at Zoom. Jay started to run at the same time that Barry did. Zoom started to go after the two speedsters. Ronnie had floated up into the air and watched as the three streaks of lighting went by.
"Which one is Zoom?" asked Ronnie
"Is there a trail of blue lightning?" asked Cisco
"Yeah."
"Aim for that. The speed drug Zoom takes turns his lighting blue."
"Got it."
"Remember aim for where he will be. And try not to hit our friends."
"Vibe, I know. That is one thing I don't miss having Stein's voice in my head telling me what to do."
After watching the three speedsters go by a couple more times Ronnie threw a fire ball at Zoom knocking him off his feet. Frost then walked up to the down evil speedster and placed her hands on him. She started to freeze him.
"Better hurry Flash. I don't think I can hold him very long." Said Frost
Barry nodded and ran up and injected Zoom with the meta cure. Ronnie having been told how Frost's powers work landed behind her letting her draw some of the heat he gave off. But it wasn't long before Frost started to stumble. Ronnie caught her before she fell. Zoom tried to vibrate to break the ice on his body but it didn't work.
"What did you do to me? What happened to my speed?" yelled Zoom
"It's gone for good. You have terrorized this city and the people for the last time. You are going to Iron Heights where you belong." Said Barry
Before Zoom could react Barry grabbed him and flashed him to the prison. He the returned grabbed Frost and he and Jay took off for Star Labs with Ronnie flying after them.
When Wally appeared in the cortex with Jesse in his arms Caitlin jumped to her feet and followed Wally into the med lab. Wally put Jesse down on the bed and Wally exited the room letting Caitlin go into full doctor mode. When he stepped out he saw that the others had returned to wait word on Jesse. Carla once she knew Charlie was ok went to see if she could help Caitlin with Jesse.
