Chapter 347 Skull Witch

Toadblatt snuck into the archives center of the Capitol of Wizard City. After getting rid of the defense wards and defusing the other security systems, he began to go through the files and scrolls, until he found the one talking about where Valeena was locked up and buried. Toadblatt copied the information, put the scroll back, rearmed the defense wards and other security systems, and quickly left the Capitol. The wizard left the city and pulled out a magical communication crystal, which he used to contact Blythe and her little group telling them, he had the information and where he wanted to meet. An hour later Toadblatt was standing in the middle of a clearing in some woods, when he was joined by Blythe, Zynn, Hexi, Vendetta, and Grudge. Blythe approached Toadblatt, who handed the copied information to her. The witch took the scroll and studied it for a little bit. A grin spread across Blythe's face and she looked over at her comrades and nodded her head at them and they all grinned as well. Blythe turned her attention back to Toadblatt.
"So you have the info you need on Valeena. Are we good?" Said Toadblatt.
"Oh yes, we are very good. Once Valeena is set free and the forces of chaos rise up and takeover Ooo you shall be greatly rewarded for your contribution. And don't you worry no harm will come to you from Valeena or any of us." Said Blythe.
"That's good to know. Pleasure doing business with you." Said Toadblatt with a nod before he turned and walked away.
"Come along, we have a powerful evil to unleash." Said Blythe to her group as she looked at the scroll in her hands.
The little group moved out and after a few hours of fast traveling they made it to the place Valeena was buried. The location was just a little bit outside Ooo and close to the Badlands. The area was filled with large rocks and a few dead trees. Vendetta pulled out her fiend making kit and quickly created a couple of large mole fiends with big digging claws, that she ordered to start digging. The two fiends went to digging and soon they had a large hole dug up. The creatures continued digging, until they dug up a large black coffin with chains wrapped around it and various paper charms and talismans on it. The coffin was lifted out of the hole and the witches went to work on it. Zynn and Hexi went to work removing and destroying the charms and talismans, while Blythe conjured up a crescent shaped energy blade and used it to slice up the chains. Soon all the bindings were gone. The little group looked at the coffin wondering if they should open it, but then it started to glow with a dark purple light and the lid was blown off!
"She is rising!" Yelled Blythe with excitement.
Out of the coffin rose a woman, who looked like she was in her late teens or early twenties. She was a grey skinned humanoid with purple eyes, and red and black hair, with two jagged lightning pigtails on top and six long ponytails that went down to her waist tied by two little skulls. The woman wore a long black dress that showed off her curves and revealed a but of her thighs, long sharp pointed boots, two long fingerless gloves, a grey metal neckpiece around her neck, and a long metal spine like device that extended from her neck to her waist. The woman had a black scar over her left eye and a black tooth fang that stuck out of the left side of her mouth. The woman was Valeena the Skull Witch!
Valeena stretched her arms and popped her neck as she took in her surroundings. Her eyes landed on Blythe and her group, who were kneeling.
"Who are you?" Asked Valeena.
"I am Blythe and these our my comrades. We are followers of chaos and darkness and we got the location of where you were buried from a former member of the Wizard Council named Toadblatt and we freed you, so that you could lead us." Said Blythe.
"Well you have my thanks. Now we must get going and tell me everything that has happened in Ooo, since I've been away." Said Valeena.
"Where are we going?" Asked Blythe.
"To see my father, the Lich." Said Valeena.
The group began walking towards Ooo.
At the secret lair, Frost was walking by one of the hanger bay doors, when it suddenly began to open by itself. Frost turned to the door hands sparking with ice power, expecting to see some kind of hero attack or invading army, but instead he saw an odd group of individuals lead by a striking woman. The icy villain considered sounding the alarm, but Crimson appeared next to him and stopped him with a raised hand. Crimson walked towards the woman and her group as the hanger doors closed behind them.
"Hello Crimson, it's been a long time." Said Valeena.
"It has indeed Valeena. Come your father is waiting in the throne room." Said Crimson.
Crimson lead Valeena and her group towards the throne room. Frost watched them go and he kept his eyes on the woman called Valeena. The woman interested Frost and for some reason, his heart beat heavily in his chest.
Valeena and her group were lead into the throne room. A few torches were lite with green fire and on a great throne sat a large shadowy figure. Valeena walked to the throne and stopped a few feet from it and kneeled before the figure in it.
"I have returned father and I'm ready to make up for my mistakes and serve you once more." Said Valeena.
"So you say. You disappointed me and failed me many years ago against Billy, why should I take you back in instead of having you locked up or simply destroyed?" Said the Lich.
"I was foolish and I underestimated the enemy back then. I spent many years buried and imprisoned and during that time I went over what I did wrong and how I could better serve you. I vow to not lose and to do everything in my power to aid in your goals. If you wish to end my life here and now, I will not resist, struggle, beg, or flee. My life belongs to you father." Said Valeena as she looked at the figure in the throne.
"An interesting answer. I see your loyalty is undying as ever and perhaps I can find a use for you. You can stay and serve by my side once again daughter." Said the Lich as he stood up and revealed the body of Billy, he was wearing.
Valeena was a bit taken aback by this, but she managed to keep her composure and speak.
"Thank you father. I appreciate it."
"Good. Together we shall plant many many seeds of chaos and distrust between the people of Ooo and soon a war will sprout to engulf the land." Said the Lich.
The father and daughter broken into evil laughter that filled the lair and sent a cold chili though all the lands of Ooo.
