Chapter 348 Hero Quest

At the treefort, Finn, Jake, and Gata were playing games on BMO in the living room, when there was a knock at the door. The four went to go answer it and were greeted by the sight of Billy standing outside their house. Finn, Gata, and Jake's eyes went wide at the sight of the legendary hero, who smiled at them.
"Greetings Finn. I have need of you and your siblings to aid me on a quest." Said Billy.
"What kind of quest?" Asked Finn with excitement.
"There have been reports of a masked figure with a red cloak lurking around a mountain. I believe it to be the villain called Crimson and I plan to bring him to justice. You've had experience dealing with him in the past and I think if we work together we can finally take him down once and for all." Said Billy.
"You can totally count on us Billy! It will be an honor to fight by your side!" Said Finn excitedly.
"I owe that creep for what he did to my mother and the Magician Kingdom." Said Gata.
"This is going to be epic!" Said Jake excitedly.
"Yes!" Agreed BMO.
Finn and the others grabbed some gear and soon they set out on their quest with Billy. The group moved through the lands, until they came across a large dark mountain and began to climb up it. On the way up Billy struck up a conversation with Finn.
"I heard you and a few others traveled up into space on some kind of adventure. What happened on it?"
"Well we went up into space on this space ship after some villains and we were all transported to another planet called Olympia, turns out that's where I was born and my mother lived there." Said Finn.
"Who was your mom?" Asked Billy.
"Her name was Atalanta and she turned out to be a goddess." Said Finn.
"A goddess you say. Did you inherit any kind of special powers from her?" Said Billy.
"I did actually. I have this special power called the Olympian power and it gives me super strength, speed, and agility." Said Finn.
"Sounds impressive. I hope to see this power once, we find Crimson and confront him." Said Billy.
The group continued on, until they nearly reached the top of the mountain and saw a large cave. The heroes looked at the cave and Crimson stepped out.
"Well this is certainly a surprise. It appears I have a bunch of guest and it's quit an interesting crowd. We have the great old hero Billy, the magical shapeshifter Jake, Princess Gata of the Magician Kingdom, BMO, and the returning Finn. If I'd known you were all coming to see little old me, I would have fixed some tea and snacks. Oh well, we can still have some fun." Said Crimson as he pulled out a red sword.
"Why did you show my mother the magic of the Thought Demon dimension and infect her with evil?" Demanded Gata.
"Oh that. That was just part of a little experiment of mine and it was to eliminate some threats and opposing forces to my master's plans. I must say the results turned out quit nicely. The Magician Queen turned into quit a powerful demon, that killed the Magician King, brought ruin to the Magician Kingdom, caused quit a mess for Ooo, and killed several wizards and magicians in the process." Said Crimson.
"You monster!" Snarled Gata.
"That's very flattering. Now you couldn't imagine my disappointment, when the Demon Queen was banished to the Thought Demon dimension and it was sealed up. But then you popped up with your gift and back door key and I was overjoyed. Now all I have to do is simply remove that necklace and knock you out to bring back your dear mom and we can have some real fun." Said Crimson.
"Not going to happen creep." Said Finn as he and Jake stepped protectively in front of Gata.
"We will not let you have your way." Said Billy as he pulled out his sword.
"Oh how cute. A bunch of brave heroes trying to protect a princess. A true classic heroic deed, but I'm afraid this isn't a fairy tale and there won't be a happy ending." Said Crimson.
"I'm not a helpless princess! Take this!" Yelled Gata as she pulled out a laser gun and fired a blast at Crimson.
Crimson easily dodged her blast and laughed.
"My. My. What a temper. I think I'll send you a few little playmates to work some of that anger out." Said Crimson as he snapped his fingers.
The ground around the heroes burst open and out came a bunch of crystal ants armed with swords and axes and a dozen Spartois. The monsters surrounded the heroes and then they charged them. Gata took a few crystal ants down with a few shots from her laser blaster, before she pulled out a sword and sliced the hand off a Spartoi making it roar in pain and stumble back. Gata quickly had BMO, who had been riding in her pack this whole time, jump out and transform into his mech form. BMO blasted a few Spartois and then he let Gata hope into his cockpit and take control. Jake smashed crystal ants with some giant fist and Finn and Billy sliced Spartois with their swords. Crimson watched for a few minutes and then he turned around and headed back into the cave. Billy and Finn saw this and were fixing to chase the masked villain, but they were hesitant to leave their comrades.
"Go after him Finn! Will be fine!" Yelled Gata.
"Yeah we can deal with these small fries!" Called Jake.
"Alright!" Said Finn as he and Billy fought their way to the cave.
"Give that creep a good whack for me!" Called Gata.
Finn gave his siblings a thumbs up before he and Billy disappeared into the cave after Crimson.
