Part 44
Barry raised an eyebrow when he saw the name come up on his caller ID. He headed into the med lab where Caitlin was working closing the door. Caitlin looked at him but said nothing as he answered.
"Kate Kane what can I do for you?" asked Barry
"Barry this is just a heads up. I am going to be headed your way with my cousin Bruce and Barbara Gordon who has worked with my cousin at his night job for years."
"Sure no problem. Just let me know when you get to Star labs. We have to let you in. I also need to keep those that are not in the know of your night job away. That is unless you want more people to know your secret."
"Less that know the better. But this is business. Someone is trying to hack into your base. Barbara has done everything she can to reinforce your firewalls from the Bat Cave. But she needs to be on sight to put in better ones."
"That would be great. Uh just so you know there have been a few changes since Crisis."
"You mean like you aren't married to that nosey reporter? Or the woman you married has an icy twin sister?"
"How do you know about that? Did you talk to Kara?"
"Yes she and I are friends. But also because Barbara seems to think that she should look into nearly everyone and knows everyone's secret identity. Don't worry she is trust worthy."
"Yeah well good luck convincing Oliver of that."
"Some how I don't doubt that. He reminds me of Bruce in some ways."
"Wonder how they would get a long."
"Probably end up in them comparing their dick sizes."
"Yeah I can see that happening. So when are you coming?"
"We will be there tomorrow."
"Ok see you then."
Barry hung up and looked at his wife.
"Kate Kane, Bruce Wayne and Barbara Gordon are coming tomorrow. Someone has been trying to hack in." said Barry
"That is different."
"Cait what if we are dealing with Savitar. But instead of being a time remnant he is a doppelganger of mine and he is recruiting evil doppelgangers from other Earths to help him?"
"That is possible. I mean if I was an evil speedster with a god complex that is something I would do."
"Then I guess it is a good thing that you are not an evil speedster then."
"Why is that?"
"Because my dear beautiful wife you would be a criminal master mind."
Barry leaned in and kissed Caitlin.
"Um not to interrupt but do you have my test results yet Caitlin?" asked Julian
"Um yeah. In your brain scans I have found some abnormalities. Barry said you have had some blackouts?" said Caitlin
"Yeah. But in this reality I never went looking for the philosophers stone." Said Julian
"There might be a way to find out what happened during your blackouts. But I don't feel comfortable doing it. A telepath could possibly help you to recover those memories. But I don't have the control to do that kind of thing." Said Caitlin
"You're a telepath?" asked Julian
"Yeah I am. I am still learning to control it. My best guess is because Frost and I have our own bodies in this reality I became a meta with telepathic powers because of the fact before Crisis she and I had bonded to the point that we could talk to each other no matter which of us were in control of our body. Julian I never needed a cure. I needed to grow and accept the part of me that was Frost."
"Cait, I will make a call to our Martian friend he might be willing to guide you if he won't do it himself." Said Barry
"Go make the call and tell Cisco about our guests coming tomorrow."
"Right because he freaks when you talk in his head."
"Shut up like you didn't when I first started doing it to you. Julian go home there is nothing more I can do until I find out if our friend can help." Said Caitlin
"I can help with Savitar." Said Julian
"You heard my sister get the hell out or I will freeze your toes off." Said Charlie from the door.
"Charlie, would it hurt you to be nice to Julian?" asked Caitlin
"I am not going to let this Melfoy clone cause my niece or nephew to grow up in a broken home." Said Charlie icily
"You're pregnant?" asked Julian
"Yes not that it is any of your business. Charlene you have nothing to worry about. I am not going to let Julian get between Barry and me. Now just a warning we are going to have some guests from Gotham tomorrow." Said Caitlin
"Got it. I will behave tomorrow. Maybe I can ask them about what we talked about."
"I would if I were you. Now Julian go. We have team business to talk about." Said Caitlin
"And I am not part of the team right."
Once Julian was gone Caitlin followed Barry out into the cortex were the rest of the team had gathered. Jesse and Henry had also come back. Jesse was sitting in a chair with the cane she was using leaning against the desk next to her. Caitlin could see the female speedster was tired.
"I want everyone to know that we are going to have guests tomorrow and unfortunately no one that is not officially part of the team will be allowed to be here. I know at least one of them will not be happy if their identity is found out by too many people." Said Barry
"Well I am sure that your sister will be fine working with Caitlin on her therapy. Besides I have my own patients to see." Said Henry
"Don't worry about us. Thomas and I have to see what needs to be done to make sure he is actually legally alive. Besides I keep telling him that our daughters will come to us when they are ready. Charlie let me know when you find a place for your gallery and I will have some of your money sent to you." Said Carla
"Thanks mom." Said Charlie
