Chapter 359 Meeting Preparations

Betty went to Simon's workshop and informed him about the message from Gumbald and wanting to have a meeting in the Ice Kingdom palace. Simon was a bit reluctant at first thinking that a meeting between Bubblegum and Gumbald would lead to disaster in some ways, but he decided since it could also lead to some peace and put an end to some bad blood. Betty thanked Simon and went to go find Lolly and Chicle and tell them about the message from Gumbald. As Betty left Dipper came into the workshop with a couple of books.
"Hello Dipper." Said Simon.
"Hey master. I think I might have located a very powerful magical object and I request permission to go on a quest to go find it." Said Dipper.
"Tell me what you found and I'll consider your request." Said Simon.
Dipper placed the books on a table and opened them up displaying pictures of Horror's Hand and Mt. Ebott. He explained all his research and how he believed Horror's Hand was in Mt. Ebott. Simon was fairly impressed with his student's work.
"Very impressive job. I must agree that the hand is most likely in Mt. Ebony somewhere." Said Simon.
"Can me and my friends go on the investigation team?" Asked Dipper.
"I'll run this through the Council first and see about getting a good team assembled for the job and I'll see to getting you and your friends on the team." Said Simon.
"Thank you." Said Dipper with a smile before he left the workshop.
Simon smiled and closed the books.
Over at the Candy Kingdom, Bubblegum had just gotten a call from Betty telling her that Gumbald wanted to meet and talk in the Ice Kingdom. Bubblegum thought about saying no, but then she saw the opportunity to get rid of one of her most dangerous enemies, so agreed to the meeting. After the call Bubblegum went down to her lab accompanied by Peppermint Butler to find the perfect weapon to destroy Gumbald. Bubblegum looked through a assortment of laser guns and darts and pins coated in different kinds of toxins and poisons. She tried to come up with a weapon that would be quick and affective and would surpass any safety and security measurements Gumbald might have taken to defend himself, but nothing was really clicking with Bubblegum. It was then that Peppermint Butler spoke up.
"You know my queen perhaps you should use a weapon that has never been seen before. One that would absolutely guarantee Gumbald's destruction no matter what security measures he take."
Bubblegum thought about this and she came up with a crazy idea. She went to the most secure part of her lab and got the bubble creator and place it in her pocket. Bubblegum took a deep breath and she and Peppermint Butler headed out of the lab and out to the courtyard. Braco was there to meet them with Neddy, Rocky, Breaker, and a few gumball robots and gingerbread guards. Bubblegum smiled as Braco walked over to her.
"Hey I'm glad you're agreeing to do this. I know it's difficult and hard for you to be in the same room as your uncle, after what he tried to do to you all those years ago, but you're stronger now and I will be by your side through this. I will do everything I can to protect you." Said Braco.
"Thank you I appreciate that." Said Bubblegum.
"You will also have me by your side, my queen. I helped you against your uncle before and I plan to do so again." Said Peppermint Butler.
"Thank you Peppermint Butler. Your such a loyal servant and I know I can always count on you." Said Bubblegum.
"I live to serve." Said Peppermint Butler with a little smirk.
The royal family along with Peppermint Butler loaded up in a carriage and set out to the Ice Kingdom with their guards.
Over at Castle Lemongrab, Gumbald and Blargetha were getting ready to head to the Ice Kingdom and they were waiting on the newly awakened Bebe to join them. Bebe had woken up and had been released from her pod a few days ago and was ready to serve, her father. She was currently looking for a outfit to go on the trip.
"So what kind of weapon are you going to bring to destroy your niece?" Asked Blargetha.
"Oh nothing serious or dangerous. Just a scanner that will allow me to track Bubblegum wherever she is. Also I'm taking a micro camera to record the meeting." Said Gumbald.
"That's it? I thought you hated your niece and wanted to see her destroyed." Said Blargetha looking confused.
"Oh I plan do plan to destroy her, but not in the way you're thinking. You see I know a lot about psychology and I know how my niece thinks. She might be older now and put on a brave face, but she is actually fearful and parodied, which leads to poor and rash decisions. Bubblegum showed that side of herself, with the Cooler incident and I predict she will let her fear get the better of her again." Said Gumbald.
"So you're not taking any weapons at all?" Asked Blargetha.
"Exactly. I'm doing something completely unexpected and when Bubblegum makes her move, she will be the instigator and we will be the victims. This will greatly play into our favor in the future." Said Gumbald.
"When do we destroy my sister?" Asked Blargetha.
"In due time. Your sister will be removed and the Slime Kingdom will be yours." Said Gumbald with a smile.
"Ok I'm ready." Said Bebe as she joined the others.
Bebe was dressed in black boots, blue jeans, and a short black crop top that showed her midriff. She smiled at Gumbald and Blargetha.
"Alright let's get going." Said Gumbald.
The three of them loaded up in KARR and headed to the Ice Kingdom. The meeting was on and it was going to be very tense.
