Chapter 366 Beach Trip

After the events of the meeting there were more tension and fear in the land of Ooo. The black hole that had appeared over the Ice Kingdom and had vanished had been seen by the other kingdoms, villages, and civilizations. A ton of people were scared and confused by the anomaly, while advanced kingdoms like the Gridface Kingdom and the Space Angel Kingdom knew exactly what the anomaly was and worried about who possessed that kind of power and technology.
At the Candy Kingdom, Bubblegum was destroying everything she had on the bubble creator. She shredded documents and notes and she deleted computer files. Soon every last bit of info on the bubble creator was destroyed. Bubblegum let out a sigh as she leaned back in a desk chair. The destructive weapon was gone, but it's existence had further ruined Bubblegum's friendship with Finn and had made Gumbald into a hero. The very thought of Gumbald being praised as a hero and gaining the trust and praise of others, sent a shudder through Bubblegum's body. At the rate things were currently going Gumbald would likely have more allies then Bubblegum very. Bubblegum considered dismantling her Gumball Guardians and safety bots as a act of good faith, like Chile had suggested, but then thought that would be a bad idea for her kingdom. Finn would no longer come to the Candy Kingdom's aid and it was most likely Gata, Jake, and BMO wouldn't come to help either if trouble arose. Marceline, Phoebe, Lucinda, Henry, and Lance all hated Bubblegum and wouldn't help her either. There were still the Peace Protectors and the Ice Kingdom who would come to the Candy Kingdom's aid, but Bubblegum thought it would be best to keep her robots around, especially with her uncle running around and scheming.
Braco entered the lab and asked how Bubblegum was doing and if she wanted to go to the beach with him and Neddy. Bubblegum said she was doing fine and that she had some work to do, so she couldn't go to the beach. Braco left the Candy Kingdom with Neddy and was accompanied by Cotton, Rocky, Bear Claw, Breaker, and Liquidator to serve as protection at the beach.
Over at Castle Lemongrab, Gumbald was seating at a computer editing a video of the meeting at the Ice Kingdom. The meeting had gone better then Gumbald had anticipated and thanks to his foolish niece and that idiot Zim, Gumbald was going to look like a big hero to the people of Ooo. Once he broadcasted his video and posted it on the internet, people would love him and hate Bubblegum. It was just perfect! Gumbald then let his mind wander to the people he encountered at the Ice Kingdom and their combat abilities. Finn was incredibly powerful and was greatly respected by all the people of Ooo, despite his young age. He could prove to be very troublesome in the future. Gumbald thought about using his science to create a clone of Finn, but then he remembered that Finn already had an evil clone named Jinn. Gumbald still planned to create a clone of Finn, but he decided he was going to go about it a different way. He would call upon King's magic experts to help create a clone and he would use the clone to defeat Finn and his friends in a way they wouldn't see coming. Gumbald let out a chuckle at the thought as he continued editing.
In another part of Castle Lemongrab, Bebe was chilling in her room reading a magazine. The candy girl got board and decided she wanted to go out to the beach. Bebe put on a dark purple bikini top and bottom, put on a big brown cover shirt and sandals. She got permission from her father to leave and she got into KARR and headed to the beach.
At the Ice Kingdom, Simon and Betty had thought a nice relaxing trip to the beach would lift everyone's spirits. They left the palace with Eria, Trucy, Rain, Mimi, Peridot, Lapis, Jeff, Shane, Alria, and the explorers from Gravity Falls.
Deep within the secret lair, Chi was hanging with Nyx, Ying, Alcor, Samantha, and Kai. The little group was getting board being cooped up in doors, so they started making plans to go to the beach. Kai looked over at Chi who was wearing a pink robe over a pink bikini top and bottom. The two of them haven't really talked much since that kiss they shared on that ship in space. Kai had started having feelings for Chi, but she didn't know how Chi felt about her since she had feelings for Mimi. At one point Kai had asked about Chi's history with Mimi and Chi had told her the full story and about her reasons for wanting to marry Mimi. Kai was both moved and a little heartbroken by the story. Chi loved Mimi, but it was unclear if Mimi loved her back like that. There was a chance that Kai could win over Chi's love, she just had to wait and see. Alcor changed into a diving helmet version of his helmet disguise and magical changed his tux into some black swim trunks. The group was soon ready and they left for the beach.
At the tree fort, Gata and Jake thought that Finn needed some cheering up after the meeting. They called Phoebe for help and she suggested going to the beach. Jake and Gata were a bit confused by this since Phoebe couldn't go into the ocean, but she told them about a special new restore that had recently opened up near the beach that included lava baths for fire people. Jake and Gata liked the beach idea and told Finn about it. Finn thought it was a fun idea. The three siblings changed into beach wear and a little later Phoebe arrived wearing a red robe over a red bikini and top. The group then headed off to the beach.
