Chapter 370 Beach Drama 4

For several seconds Samantha's group and William stared at Finn and Simon's group. No one said anything for several seconds as each member of the various groups took each other in.
Finn studied Samantha's group not sure what to make of them. They were an odd group and the girl that William had been fighting was quit strong and might be an android of some kind since, her arms had detached at one point in the fight. Finn made a mental note to be careful of that one incase a fight broke out.
Samantha studied the group of newcomers and recognized Gata, Jake, Peridot, Lapis, Mimi, Jeff, the humans from Gravity Falls, and Simon. The cyborg also studied the people she didn't recognize and wondered how strong they were. Samantha was confident in her strength and skills, as well as Alcor's powers, but she was wary about Simon. She had seen the wizard fight and knew he was incredibly powerful and if he decided to use Wizard Law it would all be over. If a fight broke out Samantha would have to take Simon out quickly or have Alcor simply teleport them back to the lair. Whatever happened Samantha was determined to keep Nyx and the others safe from harm.
After several more seconds of silence William addressed Simon.
"Ice King, Simon, I was here on a mission to recruit some people for the Peace Protectors as well as test some new underwater upgrades I was recently given. I was testing my upgrades in the ocean, when I looked to the beach and spotted this enemy cyborg and her comrades. The cyborg is named Samantha and she and her comrades are members of the End Organization. I planned to capture them and take them back to Peace Protectors headquarters for interrogation."
Finn and Phoebe tensed up at this information. A possible new lead on the End Organization that could lead to the discovery of the evil group's lair, what their end goal was, and the identity of Crimson.
Samantha stepped forward and spoke next.
"Hey look. We just came to the beach to chill. We aren't doing anything wrong and we're not here looking for a fight."
Finn was a bit conflicted by this information. He desperately wanted to locate the End Organization's lair, put a stop to their plans, and find out Crimson's identity, but attacking a group of people who were simply at the beach for a good time felt wrong. Finn saw that at least three members of the group were about the same age as Mimi and he couldn't stomach the idea of harming children. He kept having flashbacks to the fight he had with the warriors in the cave, where he was forced to kill. Finn had no choice in the matter to do the dirty deed and he knew that a hero sometimes had to do some uncomfortable things in order to move forward and do things for the greater good. It was a cold hard fact that every hero or leader had to acknowledge and although Finn had acknowledged it, the whole incident in the cave had unsettled him and haunted him. Now Finn was facing a similar dilemma. Attack and capture a group of people, who happened to be associates of the villains he and his allies were fighting, but weren't doing anything wrong or remotely evil. Sure the capture could lead to the location and elimination of a huge universal threat and save many lives, but at what cost? Attacking a group of people who weren't causing any trouble felt wrong to Finn and went against his heroic principles.
As Finn wrestled with his thoughts and feelings, Lapis and Peridot exchanged looks and stepped forward standing between their friends and Samantha's group.
"Leave Samantha alone." Said Lapis.
"Why?" Asked Phoebe.
"Because Samantha saved Lapis and me. We were both prisoners aboard a massive ship called the Zalost, until we escaped and ended up on Olympia. Samantha was sent to recapture us and bring us back, but she didn't. Instead she faked our destruction and brought back false info to her superior." Explained Peridot.
"She took a great risk for us and we owe her." Said Lapis.
Mimi and Jeff walked forward and stood before everyone else.
"Chi good friend." Said Mimi smiling and pointing at Chi.
Chi smiled back.
"Yeah Chi a good girl and good friend of ours." Said Jeff.
Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, Pacifica, and Soos walked forward and stood before everyone else. Dipper took a deep breath and spoke.
"Samantha, Nyx, and Ying helped us out big time in the virtual world of Gravity Falls. They pretended to hold us captive for their superiors as they helped us reach the control center for the system. We honestly wouldn't have made it or be here now if it weren't for them."
"That's true." Admitted Ford.
"They along with Alcor and Chi helped us defend Gata and fight against Gentleman Wizard and his cronies." Said Wendy.
"It's true! I recognize their scents from that day!" Said Jake.
"I do recognize you from that day. You were all wearing disguises, but looking at you now I see that you were the ones that helped us in that fight. You really helped us out." Said Gata.
"It was no real. The guy was being a huge jerk, so we decided to lend a hand." Said Samantha.
"Also I got to cream that creep with a hate cake." Said Nyx with a grin.
"That was you?" Asked Mabel.
"Yep!" Said Nyx.
"That was awesome!" Said Mabel.
"I just want to say thank you for coming to our aid and helping us." Said Gata.
"Your welcome." Said Samantha.
All this new information was really helping Finn calm down and make a decision. Samantha and her group had actually helped both his friends and his family in the past. Samantha and her little group may have been on the opposing side, but they weren't the enemy, at least not right now anyway. They had helped protect and defend Gata from Gentleman Wizard and his mob and in return for that Finn wasn't going to try and capture any of them.
Simon studied everyone for a few seconds and then he spoke.
"It appears that there are no enemies or threats present here. Samantha and her group are simply chilling on the beach like the rest of us, so I say we should all just get along and enjoy ourselves on this nice day. William, you are to cease attacking Samantha and her group at once."
"But sir, the capture of these individuals can really help the Peace Protectors!" Protested William.
"It would, but it would also bring shame to them as well. Samantha and her group have done nothing wrong, they are associates of the End Organization true, but they have done some heroic deeds in the past that helped many people present here, which has earned them a pardon for today in my book. If this was a battlefield and we were fighting them to prevent something terrible from happening then I would be fine with capturing and interrogation, however that is not the case here. So let's let them be. If they try to pull something, you'll be the first to know." Said Simon.
"Fine, but I am going to tell Gearga about this and whatever she says, I'll do it." Said William as he turned and walked off to contact his superior.
"What a stick in the mud." Said Chi.
"Well I say that's enough drama. Let's go have some beach fun!" Said Nyx.
Everyone present was in agreement and the various groups began to hangout and do beach activities.
