Chapter 382 Sea Tale 3

The sailboat made it's way through the ocean making it's way to the group of islands near the Trench. On the way there Billy and Mandarin asked Canyon for info on Eight-Armed Willy.
"Well I know his somewhere between three hundred to four hundred feet tall and a extremely powerful monster. There are many rumors of where Willy came from. Some say his an ancient beast from long ago created by a deity to punish people who disrespect the sea, others say Willy was a normal octopus that got mutated by one of the bombs from the Mushroom War, and there are those that say Willy came from a completely different universe. All I know for sure is that Willy is an evil monster who eats whales and other monsters, he enjoys sinking ships, and he wants to conquer the world." Said Canyon.
"Well I guess we have no choice, but to stop him then." Said Billy.
"Agreed." Said Mandarin.
The trio continued on, until they came across some giant rock spikes sticking out of the ocean near a few small islands. Impaled on the spikes were some wrecked ships, some whale corpses, and a few sea monster corpses. On one of the beaches was a message made with bones. It read 'Abandon all hope ye who enter here'. The three travelers grimly looked at the message and continued on deeper into the area. As they continued on the heroes spotted quit a few sea monsters watching them from afar. The heroes expected the monsters to swarm and attack them, but all they did was simply watch. It was just unsettling.
"Why are none of them attacking?" Asked Canyon.
"They don't see any of us as a threat to either themselves or their master. It's probably a good thing since we don't have to fight all of them." Said Billy.
"It's possible Willy knew of our coming and ordered them not to attack, because he wanted to deal with us personally. This shows us Willy's mastery of these monsters as well as his overconfidence in his own power." Said Mandarin.
"Well from what I've heard Willy has a good reason to be overconfident. Let's hope it makes he underestimate us." Said Canyon.
They continued on deeper into the area, where there were a few more islands. The trio passed some more ship wrecks and they were in enveloped by a thick fog. It was hard to see what was around them as they continued on through the area, until they saw something very large ahead. It appeared to be a large round mountain with what appeared to be a galleon sitting at the top.
"Perhaps we can reach that island and scale that mountain to get a better look around." Suggested Billy.
"That's no mountain." Said Mandarin narrowing his eyes.
Before Billy could ask what Mandarin meant, the supposed mountain suddenly began to move and eight massive tentacles rose out of the water around.
"It's Eight-Armed Willy!" Cried Canyon.
The monster turned around to reveal it's face. Willy was a massive dark ruby red octopus with a long nose and a green mouth full of sharp teeth. He had an eyepatch over his right eye and wore the galleon as a hat. The heroes watched in stunned amazement as Willy took a deep breath and blew all the surrounding fog away, before leaning his head down to look at the trio of heroes in the boat.
"So these are the landlubbers, who have been giving my crew a hard time. None of you look special. You don't even look worthy of making into slaves and forcing you to clean the barnacles and algae from my tentacles!" Boomed Willy.
"We managed to best your crew." Said Mandarin.
"Now we're here to stop you." Said Billy pointing his sword at Willy.
"Your reign over the ocean and your plans to conquer the rest of the world are over." Said Canyon.
"As if! The sea produces the strongest creatures in this world. I am the strongest creature in the sea, which makes me the strongest in the world. Therefore it is my right to rule the world. The strongest are the ones destined to rule the world. You cannot fight against destiny." Said Willy.
"Big words, from a being with a big ego." Said Mandarin.
"I refuse to except being ruled by a tyrant like you." Said Canyon.
"The future is not set in stone. We will fight and defeat you Willy!" Shouted Billy.
"So be it! I'll send you all to Davey Jones's locker!" Boomed Willy as he raised one of his tentacles and brought it smashing down towards the heroes!
"Hang on!" Shouted Canyon as she used her powers to shift the boat out of the way of the slamming tentacle.
The massive limb missed the sailboat by a few yards, but it did create a powerful wave that lifted the boat up several feet and nearly flipped it over. Willy swung another tentacle at the boat. Mandarin saw it coming and unleashed a great and mighty shout at the boat's sail. The shout had the force of a mighty wind and it slammed into the sail and pushed the boat out of the way of the slamming tentacle. The two escapes annoyed Willy, so he decided to try a different tactic. Instead of trying to smash the boat again, Willy stuck one of his tentacles into the water beneath the boat and then swung it up flinging the boat high into the air above. The heroes clung to the boat as it flew high into the sky and then it began they began to plummet to the sea below. Billy's eyes went wide as he saw Willy swinging one of his tentacles up at the boat intending to smash it and it's occupants to bits.
"Abandon ship!" Yelled Billy to his companions.
The three heroes released their holds on the boat and quickly pushed off from the boat. The sailboat plummeted down and was smashed to bits by Willy's tentacle. The heroes managed to avoid the swinging limb and each landed on a separate tentacle. Billy began to attack his tentacle with his sword and started to make his way towards Willy's main body. Mandarin began to attack his tentacle with his energy sword and Canyon attacked her tentacle with whips made out of water as the two of them began to make their way to Willy's main body as well. The attacks of the heroes did little damage to the tentacles, but they did annoy Willy, he twisted his head around to look at the three heroes working his way up his tentacles and decided to take Canyon out first.
"Ladies die first!" Declared Willy as he shot one of his tentacles out at Canyon.
"Canyon!" Cried Billy as he saw the tentacle coming towards Canyon.
Canyon saw the tentacle racing towards her and froze. Billy saw this and quickly sped into action. He ran and leaped from tentacle to tentacle as he raced to Canyon and the tentacle heading towards her. At the last possible moment Billy leaped and intercepted the oncoming tentacle. Canyon watched in stunned horror as the tentacle intended for her wrapped around Billy and yanked him away towards the main body. Willy pulled Billy up to his face and looked down at him.
"I was thinking of killing you last, but I'll settle for first." Said Willy before he swung the tentacle that held Billy at a ship wreck on one of the nearby little islands.
CRASH!
The tentacle smashed through the ship wreck with a mighty crash.
"Billy!" Cried Canyon and Mandarin in dismay.
Willy laughed nastily as he pulled his tentacle and a bruised and bleeding Billy out of the ship wreck and prepared to slam it again. Canyon quickly decided to spring into action by firing a high pressured blast of water that slammed right into Willy's right eye! Willy shouted in both pain and surprise as he was temporarily blinded and he began to thrash his arms around. As Willy thrashed around, Billy took the opportunity to bite down hard on the tentacle that held him forcing it to let him go. Now freed, Billy ran to Willy's main bod, along with both Canyon and Mandarin. The three of them reached Willy's head and they attacked his face with all their might! Willy roared in pain as a bunch of large deep cuts were cuts into his face making him bleed greatly. The monster narrow his eye in anger at Billy, who had inflected the deepest scars across his face.
"I chomp you into chum!" Roared Willy as he launched his face forward intending to crush Billy with his sharp fangs.
"It's whose about to be chum!" Roared Billy as he leaped over Willy's snapping jaws and delivered a powerful punch between Willy's eyes.
SMASH!
Willy gasped in pain as his eye rolled back into his head and he toppled backwards with a mighty splash. The heroes feel into the water and clung to some driftwood as they watched Willy sink into the water and vanish from sight. The monsters who had all been watching the fight from afar, quickly fled the scene in fear. The heroes swam to one of the nearby islands to dry and get some rest.
"We did it! Victory is ours!" Declared Mandarin.
"Nice job out there. You really gave it to Willy at the end." Said Canyon.
"Thanks." Said Billy.
The two of them smiled and exchanged a kiss, before they along with Mandarin began to make a raft to take them back to Ooo.
End of story.
Canyon finished her story and all those who had listened clapped and cheered. A little bit after the story the various groups and people left the beach and returned to their homes. The Penguins ended up going with Simon's group to live in and protect the Ice Kingdom. The beach day was a day no one was going to forget.
