Chapter 393 Recruitment 3

Present Day Ooo
The destruction of the Mushroom War caused many contents to shift around the world and end up in different places. Weird World ended up landed and settling in an area near the badlands and had remained in it's frozen dome state for over a thousand years. Serpos the Snake God had spent the past years exploring the new world and spying on it's inhabitants. He could sense another war was coming and he had a feeling that the powerful being known as the Lich would rise up from it and bring forth a new order to the multiverse. Serpos planned to be on the side of the Lich and he decided it was the right to free his servants from their stone prison. The great serpent breathed on the dome surrounding Weird World causing it to crack and fall and all the beings inside the castle to become unfrozen.
Inside the castle Julie groaned and woke up in her cell along with her cellmate Sam. The two had been sharing a cell for the past year or so and had become friends. They each explained how they had been captured and that they had someone important to them that was also captured. Julie had thought about trying to use her super strength to bust out of the cell, when she had first woken up in the cell after being captured since it was highly unlikely that Argost knew she was incredibly strong, but decided to wait and collect information about her captives first to help better fight them and escape and then give the information about their kidnappers to the proper authorities. Now Julie and Sam were awake yet something felt incredibly off. Julie decided it was time to bust out.
"Ok Sam, it's time for a jailbreak. I'm going to bust down this door and we're going to find our friends and escape." Said Julie as she marched up to the door and clenched her righthand into a fist.
Sam watched in stunned amazement as Julie slammed her fist into the door and knocked it off it's hinges and into the hallway with a crash. Julie stepped into the hallway followed by Sam.
"That was incredible! Why didn't you do that in the first place?" Said Sam.
"Because the ones that captured us were able to capture a Sasquatch and your large mutant girlfriend, both of who are incredibly powerful. I thought it was best to keep my own strength hidden, until it was the right time to use it. Element of surprise." Said Julie looking around the hallway.
"Ok fair point." Admitted Sam.
Julie noticed some keys hanging on a hook down the hallway and went and grabbed them. Julie and Sam then went down the hallway in the opposite direction looking for their friends.
Miles away at Castle Lemongrab, Nemo the candy spy was spying on the recruitment tryouts for King's growing army. Ever since the super villain team L.O.V.E., A Legion of Evil Doers, and their members Wrongness, Dr. Termino, Colonel Cold, Man-Gorilla, Professor Eek, and Laundromax had joined up with King's forces, Nemo had become incredibly concerned about what other beings would join the growing army and began to make a list of every being he saw get recruited to show to the rulers of the Candy Kingdom and the Peace Protectors.
The recruitment was overseen by King Knight, General Rooster, and Pink Monkey. The three of them sat behind a large table under a canopy, looked at some papers, and called people who were waiting in line to show their stuff.
First to be called up was a being called Math Homework Man. He was a creation of Math Magician, who became sentient a few months back and had been causing mathematical mayhem ever since. Math Homework Man was a large piece of paper, with a mouth full of sharp teeth, two black eyes with sharp black eyebrows, two muscular arms, and two muscular legs with red shoes.
"So Math Homework Man, what can you do exactly?" Asked General Rooster.
"I have the power of math at my fingertips. Allow me to demonstrate." Said Math Homework Man as he pulled out a banana and zapped it with a magical burst of energy.
The three generals watched in awe as two more bananas appeared next to the first banana. It was the power of multiplication! Math Homework Man turned his attention to a nearby tree and zapped it with another beam of energy. The tree vanished in a flash of light. The power of subtraction! The three generals were impressed.
"Well that's a very handy power. You're hired." Said King Knight.
"Yes! You've added on a winner." Said Math Homework Man pumping his fists in the air.
Next up was a towering being known as Spaghetti and Meatballs. He was a giant muscular humanoid made out of spaghetti noodles, with a splotch of red sauce on his chest, and had meatballs for a head, feet, and hands. Spaghetti and Meatballs bowed his head to the judges and demonstrated some karate moves, before he finished up with slamming his fists and shaking the ground around the area. The generals hired Spaghetti and Meatballs.
Following Spaghetti and Meatballs was an odd being called Knife Man. He looked like a pencil drawing come to life. Knife Man was a giant knife with arms, legs, and a face on the knife blade. He pulled out a laser gun and began firing into the air.
"The knife has a gun!" Yelled a random Pistachion.
Knife Man was hired.
The ground began to shake as the next people in line approached the generals. The newcomers appeared to be a pair of large identical humanoid twins with pale white skin, red eyes, and black hair, beards, and unibrows. The twins had on matching black suits and top hats. One twin had a name tag that read Larry Sumo, he also had his name tattooed on his fists. The other twin had a name tag that read Harry Sumo and also had his name tattooed on his fists.
"Greets great generals. I am Larry Sumo and this is my younger brother Harry Sumo. Together we are the Hairy Sumo Brothers!" Said Larry Sumo.
"You really don't look that hairy." Said General Rooster.
"You should see us out of these suits." Said Larry with a grin as he reached up to undo his suit.
"No there's no need for that!" Said King Knight trying to stop the two sumo warriors, but it was too late.
Larry and Harry threw off their suits and hats to reveal large bodies that were a mix of muscle and fat and had large patches of black hair over them. The only clothing the brothers had were black loincloths. Harry had dragon tattoos on his arms and serpent tattoos on the sides of his belly, while Larry had knife and and hearts tattoos on his arms and serpent tattoos on the side of his belly. The two brothers raised their arms in the air and let out a mighty roar as people stared at their appearance in both shock and awe. Many people shouted in fear and horror.
"I'm blind!"
"My eyes!"
"So much hair!"
"I can never un-see that!" Cried Monkey Pink looking like she was about to faint.
"Ok you're hired! Just put some clothes on!" Said King Knight.
"Look forward to working with you." Said Larry as he and his brother put on their suits and walked away.
After taking a little break to recover from the sight of the Hairy Sumo Brothers, the generals went back to work. The next being was a tall muscular humanoid male with yellow, scaly skin. He only had three fingers on each hand and two toes on each foot, and a red mohawk. The man wore an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt, a pair of board shorts, and a pair of flip-flops. The generals looked at the man and he spoke in a rough voice.
"I'm Duke Nukem and I have the power of radiation."
Some monkeys brought in a couple of washing machines and Duke Nukem fired some radioactive energy beams from his hands and destroyed them. The generals were impressed and hired Duke Nukem. Duke Nukem walked away and later encountered Gumbald, who took an interest in the radioactive mutant.
Next to come were three cat sisters. They were all white and the only way to tell them apart were there eye colors and dress colors. One cat had pink eyes, a pink bow on her head, and a pink dress, another had purple eyes, a purple bow, and a purple dress, and the last one had green eyes, a green bow, and a green dress. The cat in pink was called Ashley, the cat in purple was called Kitty, and the cat in green was called Bella. Ashley handed the generals what appeared to be a flyer of some kind.
"The Kung Pow Kittens? Are these three some kind of band?" Asked King Knight.
"I think they are." Said Monkey Pink.
Ashley pulled out a guitar, Kitty pulled out a electric keyboard, and Bella pulled out a drum set. The three cats began to play their instruments and sing a song, which only consisted of the world meow, which everyone listening seemed to like. After a few minutes the song ended and the music stopped.
"Well they have talent." Said Monkey Pink.
"Yeah, but this isn't those kinds of tryouts. We're looking for warriors not musicians." Said General Rooster.
Hearing this the Kung Pow Kittens each pulled out a weapon. Ashley pulled out two swords, Kitty pulled out two short swords, and Bella pulled out two nunchucks. The three cats leaped and flipped through the air expertly swinging their weapons. They did a few more leaps and flips and then they stopped to look at the generals.
"Musicians and warriors. A two in one deal! You're hired!" Said King Knight.
The next few tryouts were quit weird, yet they were very unique. There was the humanoid spray paint can Park Avenue, who could bring his creations to life, the pale, creepy, and insane Disgruntled Postman, who was armed with package bombs, and razor sharp envelopes used for throwing, and the psychotic mutant clown Zombozo who seemed to have magical powers and deadly gadgets. There was one being at the sub-atomic size by the name of Quark, who introduced himself to the generals by introducing himself to the generals by taking out the bottom atoms of their table and destroyed. Quark then jumped into each of the generals's ears and introduced himself. Later on a trio of strange beings approached the generals. One appeared to be a giant cup with a lid and straw, a face, arms with white gloved hands, and legs with red shoes, the second one appeared to be a human size cup of fries, with a creepy smiling face, two arms with yellow gloves, a red apron, and two legs made out of French fries, and the last one appeared to be a large pile of meat with arms, eyes, and a mouth. The being made of meat spoke.
"I am Meatman and these are my comrades Frybo and Mr. Smoothy. Together we are the Aqua Team Hunger Force!"
"Interesting name. So what exactly can you all do?" Said King Knight.
"Mr. Smoothy is strong and can spit out smoothie liquid from his straw, Frybo can use the fries on his head like tentacles, and I can shapeshift." Said Meatman before he changed into King King, General Rooster, Monkey Pink, and finally back to his original self.
"You're hired." Said General Rooster.
The Farm then walked over to the generals with a couple of people with him.
"Who are these two?" Asked King Knight.
"This is Jordan the Destroyer, though you can just call him Destroyer and this is Joao "The Grave" Diga. These two are the fiercest wrestlers I've ever seen." Said the Farm.
Destroyer was a huge hulking green lizard demon with yellow horns on the sides of his head and green spikes going down his head. He wore a red mask, pants, and shoes. Joao was a towering, muscular humanoid with a curled fist for a head. His feet were also curled fists. Joao wore boxing shorts, both his bottom arms were encased in bandages, and boxing gloves on his arm fists.
"They're hired." Said King Knight.
And so the day went on with more people showing up to join King's army. A few more beings were lurking in the darkness ready to join up and other kingdoms and organizations were recruiting new members into their own forces.
