A/N: Hey guys! Back again with another update! Hope you like it!

"Well! You've certainly caused huge waves with your latest announcement!" The interviewer pauses for a second as a picture of him and Annabeth at the red carpet flashes up on the screen behind her. "So tell us," she continues, leaning in. "Who is Percy Jackson?"

Annabeth leans back in her chair, graceful as ever despite the audience and questions. (He would be fighting the urge to bolt if it had been him up there.)

"My boyfriend," she replies simply, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"Right, and what's the story? We've never seen him before!"

That's because they kept it a secret. He wonders if Annabeth is biting back the same retort. (Judging by the small smile on her lips, she just might be).

She shrugs gracefully. "We met at his work, he asked me out, and I said yes. We started dating after that."

Well, that is a pretty succinct summary of how it all went down. And it's clear that a succinct summary is not what the interviewer wants.

Now, more than ever, he realizes that if he ever does end up writing that memoir, he could really make bank with the number of details that Annabeth is clearly not going to give up. (Not that he wants her to, either.)

"Yes, his work…" another pause, "he works at a coffee shop right?"

"Yep, they have great coffee."

Once again, it's clear that the interviewer is hoping for more. Annabeth just smiles pleasantly back.

"Is that why you agreed on the date?" the interview jokes, clearly trying to prod further.

Annabeth shakes her head. "I went on the date because I liked him."

The audience chuckles at that and the interviewer maintains her smile, but it's clear she's not thrilled by the way this is going so far.

And though her last question was kind of a jab, he can't blame her. The woman is just trying to do her job and Annabeth is not making it easy.

But Annabeth also has the right to keep things private. It's an interesting exchange.

"You've kept your relationship a secret…" The interviewer trails off, hoping Annabeth will pick the bait, but Annabeth just waits for her to continue. "Why did you decide to reveal it now?" she finishes.

"We thought it was the right time. We've been together for a while now."

"When do we get to meet him?" the interviewer asks with what's supposed to be a playful smile.

His smile drops at the question. Annabeth had asked him if he wanted to join her for this interview, but he doesn't think he can face that many people and the cameras. It's too fresh, too new.

It's the second interview Annabeth's given about this, the first being at the red carpet with her favorite interviewer. Percy had been there for that one, mostly just smiling and nodding to whatever Annabeth was saying, but he'd been present. And Annabeth assured him it was okay to sit this one out.

He tunes back in to hear Annabeth's response to the question.

"He's a private person, we're both pretty private. And he's not really used to this kind of thing. So probably not for a while."

"Well," the interviewer seems to concede. "We do have a few fans from the audience that have questions."

Annabeth smiles. "Great!"

And with that both women turn towards the live audience. The camera pans to show a teenage girl, clearly giddy at her chance to ask her question. She holds the microphone with both hands.

"Hi, just want to say that I love you! Andromeda is my favorite."

Annabeth's pleasant smile warms at the words and he can see the happiness reflected on her face. "Oh thank you! You're so sweet!"

The girl's smile widens impeccably, her hands shaking a little as she asks her question.

"And my question is from my twitter fanpage, everyone wants to know since pictures of the red carpet are going around, and by the way you guys are so adorable!"

Percy can't help his own smile. This girl was one of the good ones. He wonders if he'd seen that twitter account in his stalking of social media after they had gone public.

"What do you and Percy like to do together, like any hobbies?"

Annabeth considers the question, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Well…he likes to bake and I like to sample all the things he bakes."

Percy chuckles at her answer. It's by far the truest thing she's said so far. Annabeth always ends up in the kitchen, sitting on a stool or standing by the counter when he cooks or bakes. He loves those little chats. (And her attempts to help which usually ends up in kisses.)

"That's so cute!" The girl replies. "Thank you!"

"Thank you for asking!" Annabeth gives her a little wave as the camera pans to the next person with a question.

A guy looking to be in his mid-twenties, is holding another microphone. "Hi, such a big fan. I love the work you're doing with your charity foundation too!"

Annabeth smiles back. "Thank you! I appreciate your support!"

It's so cute how she interacts with fans, he thinks, as he watches her carefully listen to the guy's question. Even if he hadn't seen firsthand how much she cares, it's evident in her mannerism and smile how much she values what her fans have to say.

"My go-to coffee order is a caramel macchiato," she's saying. He missed the question while he was staring at her, but he's pretty sure it's about her coffee order. "And Percy…he likes to make and try different drinks so he doesn't really have a go-to."

"I love caramel macchiatos! Also, it's so cool you guys met at a coffee shop, I met my boyfriend at one too."

Annabeth smiles widely. "They're great aren't they! Thank you for the question!"

"And the last question," the interviewer speaks up. The camera doesn't sit on her for too long, but he wonders if maybe she's a little miffed at how much more detail the fans are getting from their questions.

The timer rings and he gets up to turn off the oven. He peeps inside, checking on the cookies. He just barely catches the last question as he closes the oven and turns back to the screen.

"What's your favorite thing about Percy?"

The camera is on Annabeth and there's a soft smile on her face as she considers the question. It's actually something he would like to know too, maybe even more than the person who asked it.

"That's a hard one, there are so many things to love about him, but…" she pauses, glancing at the camera like she knows he's watching. (Of course he is.)

"I guess I'd say his ability to make me smile no matter what."

That produces a collective "awwww" from the audience and he just stands there as the interviewer starts to wrap it up.

He doesn't really register much of it because he still hasn't gotten over her answer. He, Percy freaking Jackson, has to be the luckiest person in the entire world to be the source of Annabeth Chase's smile.

He makes a point to shower her in kisses (and cookies) as soon as she gets home.
