Disclaimer: I don't own anything. This is just a story for fun.

Spirit sat on a throne in her private chambers with a glowing crystal ball floating before. She had felt the death of one of her sisters and was determined to figure which one of them was dead and who was responsible. Spirit used the crystal ball to conjure up a live image of each one of her sisters and their locations. She confirmed that her sisters in the base were alright, along with the ones in Hotland and Waterfall, but when she pulled up Fay Soff in Snowdin, she got a different image. Instead of seeing Fay Soff, Spirit saw a crater with scorched marks. Spirit gasped in shock as she realized Fay Soff had been killed! But who could have done such a thing? Spirit and her forces had a fairly long list of enemies, it could have been anyone of them.

"This will not go unpunished! I will find out who is responsible for Fay Soff's death and they will pay!" Said Spirit before she used her crystal ball to conjure up an image of her sister Cinder.

Cinder had a short body that wore a purple dress with splotches of yellow and green edges. She had a large purple head that was several times bigger then her body, with tiny yellow eyes and pink hair tied into six ponytails on the sides and back of her head.

"Hey sis. I'm just getting ready to launch the invasion of Snowdin." Said Cinder.

"That's good sister, but I bring bad news." Said Spirit.

"What news?" Asked Cinder.

"Fay Soff has been killed!" Said Spirit.

"WHAT?!" Cried Cinder as her mouth opened wide revealing fangs and tiny flames sparking in her mouth.

"Yes I'm just as shocked as you. Now I have another important job for you. The ones responsible for Fay Soff's death could still be in Snowdin. I want you to find them and burn them to death. If they're not in Snowdin then we will hunt them down." Said Spirit.

"I SHALL CONQUER SNOWDIN AND IF I FIND THE KILLERS I WILL REDUCE THEM TO ASHES!" Declared Cinder.

"Good sister. I have complete faith in you." Said Spirit before she ended the call.

Spirit then began to use a magic spell on the crystal ball that would allow to see Fay Soff's last moments and figure out who killed her, though it would take some time for the spell to take affect.

In Subcon Forest, Dipper and his group were still looking around the village and area, when they came across a living female glass doll that appeared to be from the 1920's to the 1950's. Her head was glass and her body was comprised of some kind of fabric or felt. She wore a fancy pink dress and had and had orange plastic curly hair. The doll carried around a inanimate white French Poodle. In the center of her mouth was a hole and a string on her back. Her eyes were dark blue, with her left eye being a lazy eye.

"First a talking flower now a living doll. This place just keeps getting weirder." Said Pacifica.

"There's an entire kingdom of living puppets back in Ooo, so this is nothing new to me." Said Rain.

The doll grabbed the string on her back and gave it a good pull. She then spoke to the group.

"Hello strangers. I'm Dolly and this is my dog Fifi."

"Oh so nice to meet you Dolly! I'm Mabel and this is my brother Dipper and my friends Rain, Pacifica, and Wendy." Said Mabel.

Before anything else could be said, Dipper grabbed Mabel and pulled her to the side.

"What are you doing?! The last time we tried to talk to someone who was friendly and harmless looking, they turned out to be dangerous and psychotic and they nearly killed us! We're in the most dangerous part of Snowdin! That doll probably wants to eat our souls or our flesh!" Said Dipper.

"Ok...Dipper relax. I'll admit you have a point about being weary about the people around here, but not everyone we're going to meet down here is a monster out to get us." Said Mabel.

"That doll probably has a knife stuffed and hidden in that poodle of hers and once we get close to her and lower our guard, she'll kill us." Said Dipper getting worried and concerned looks from Mabel and the others.

"I think you need to calm Dipper. You're sounding crazy." Said Pacifica.

"Calm! We can't be calm! Think about where we are! We are in dangerous uncharted territory with a mad ghost that can steal souls and who knows what other kinds of messed up terrors! I'm not crazy I'm rational! My big brain and rationality are the only things keeping us together and safe! I took a selfless gamble and lost my soul to save all of you and now we need to get it back! And then we have to find the others and find Horror's Hand!" Said Dipper.

"Dude we get it. This whole thing is super stressful and I promise you, will help get your soul back man." Said Rain.

"And why should we trust you Rain, you lied to us before." Said Dipper eyeing Rain.

"Hey I'm no longer spying for Crimson. I already told you I quit spying for him." Said Rain.

"That's what we you want us to think! You say you're not working for Crimson, but you could easily be a triple agent spying on us and trying to keep us from trying to find Horror's Hand, so Crimson or one of his associates can get to it first, but you're not fooling me!" Said Dipper as his fingers started to spark with magic.

Wendy saw this and quickly grabbed Dipper's arms and pulled them back and restrained him.

"Dipper you need to calm down! Rain is not our enemy!" Said Wendy as Dipper struggled to break free.

Mabel grabbed some snow and tossed it into Dipper's face making him stop struggling and made him blink his eyes in confusion.

"I...don't know what came over me. I'm sorry for accusing you of being a spy Rain." Said Dipper as Wendy released her grip on him.

"That's ok man. I think you acting that way might be a side effect of your soul being taken." Said Rain.

"That makes sense." Said Dipper scratching his chin.

"You're an interesting group." Said Dolly.

"Kind of forgot about her." Said Pacifica.

"I couldn't help but hear that one of you got your soul taken." Said Dolly after she pulled her string.

"Snatcher took it, but we can get it back by doing a few jobs for him." Said Mabel.

"Well you're luckier then most people who end up here. At least you have a chance to live and get out of here." Said Dolly after pulling her string.

"So what's your story?" Asked Wendy.

"Oh well I'm the favorite toy of Queen Vanessa, she lives in the manor not to far from here." Said Dolly after pulling her string.

At the mention of the manor Wendy pulled out the job contract and looked at it.

"It seems like that's the manor Snatcher wants something from." Said Wendy.

"Snatcher wants something from the manor? I guess that makes sense considering their history." Said Dolly after pulling her string.

"History? Tell us what it is." Said Dipper.

"Sorry I can't. That's a personal matter." Said Dolly.

"Tell us!" Said Dipper getting annoyed.

"No way buster!" Said Dolly as her eyes flashed red.

Dipper took a startled step backwards as Dolly's eyes changed back to normal.

"I'm so sorry about that! Look its really a personal matter and its not my place to tell anyone." Said Dolly.

"Ok, we can respect that." Said Pacifica.

"I can help you retrieve an item from the manor." Said Dolly.

"Oh well we appreciate that." Said Wendy.

"I should also warn you that there's been a dangerous monster lurking outside the manor and that Queen Vanessa is a very dangerous being who doesn't like strangers in her home." Said Dolly.

"You don't say. Well I guess we should do that job later. I guess will do Mail Delivery Service first." Said Dipper taking the contract.

As soon as Dipper said this the scenery around the group changed to swirling storm clouds and Snatcher appeared before them.

"Not a bad choice! This one should be a breeze! You're leaving all the difficult contracts for the newbies, though, which is really rude when you think about it." Said Snatcher.

"Aren't we the only ones doing jobs?" Asked Dipper.

"Whatever! I'm off! Smell you later!" Said Snatcher before vanishing and the scene returned to normal.

"So where exactly are we supposed to go?" Asked Wendy.

"Oh I can show you just follow me." Said Dolly as she began to walk away.

Dipper and the others followed her.

The Snatcher returned to his home. Now one would think Snatcher would live in a crypt or a creepy looking mansion, but in actuality he lived in a large hollowed-out tree that had a recliner, a couch, a rug, a bookcase, and a lamp. The little setup was very cozy looking and looked like the last place someone like Snatcher would live. Snatcher settled into his recliner and saw that he had a couple of guests sitting on his couch. Mr. Dark and Dark Corvo. Snatcher's smile went down a little. This wasn't the first time the duo had paid Snatcher a visit and he already knew what they wanted.

"Hello Snatcher." Said Mr. Dark.

"I already told you a dozen times, I have no interest in joining your team, so why don't you just save us all some time and leave my home and land." Said Snatcher.

"Oh don't be like that Snatcher, we're all friends here. A guy like you would be a most welcomed addition to my master's side. We could accomplish so much together!" Said Mr. Dark.

"My answer is still no." Said Snatcher.

"Well if that's your answer, I guess will just go see about recruiting Queen Vanessa to our cause. I'm sure she would be glad to help and get out of that stuffy manor she lives in." Said Mr. Dark.

"YOU STAY AWAY FROM HER! You have no idea what kind of danger she is to the whole Underground!" Yelled Snatcher getting right in front of Mr. Dark's face.

"Oh I know she's powerful and quit a bit unhinged. Though I wonder if you still have feelings for her? It would explain why you're protective of her." Said Mr. Dark.

"We've heard some tales about your past together." Said Dark Corvo.

"How's this sound, you don't have to join us, but you can still do a job for us and in exchange we promise we won't go near Queen Vanessa." Said Mr. Dark.

"Fine. What's the job?" Said Snatcher calming down.

"There's a special door that lies between your territory and Snowdin. We just simply want you to keep an eye on it and guard it. If someone who isn't us or one of our comrades alert us immediately." Said Mr. Dark.

"Fine. I'll do it, but let's make it a contract." Said Snatcher summoning up a contract to sign.

Mr. Dark signed the contract and it vanished. The two visitors stood up and left the tree. Snatcher sensed that Dipper and the others were near the location of their first job and went to go see them.

"So what now? We going to go get that monster Screeching Owl? I'm sure it's around here somewhere." Said Dark Corvo.

"Let the runaway monster have it's fun. I think there might be other people running around here and for some reason Snatcher hasn't killed them. They might be useful recruits or tools. Let's hang around and see how things play out." Said Mr. Dark.

"You're the boss." Said Dark Corvo before he and Mr. Dark disappeared into the woods.

In another part of Subcon Forest, Dolly had lead Dipper and the others to a snow cleared patch to what appeared to be a pillar with a time clock on it. As soon as they reached it Snatcher appeared.

"HELLOOOO! Are you ready to complete your contract obligations?" Asked Snatcher.

Dipper nodded his head.

"I'm not heartless! Every so often I sneak into mailboxes and steal letters, then deliver them to my minions. That way it's almost like someone cares about them! But our last mailman has gone poof. So one of you will have to do!" Said Snatcher before a motor scooter with some packages on it appeared.

"So who is going to do it?" Asked Rain.

"I'll do it." Said Mabel with excitement as she grabbed a helmet hanging from the handlebars and jumped onto the scooter.

Mabel took off along the path and saw one of the shadow creatures chilling on the side waving to her. Mabel slowed down and handed one of the packages to the creature who happily took it. She continued on her way and encountered a dozen more creatures and handed them all packages. Soon all the packages were delivered and Mabel returned to the others. Dipper and his friends cheered as Mabel arrived. Mabel jumped off the scooter and it vanished.

"Congratulations you completed your first job! Maybe you'll get out of this alive. Just let me know when you're ready for the next one." Said Snatcher before he vanished.

"Maybe we can do this." Said Wendy.

"One down three to go." Said Rain.

The group decided to take a little break and explore some more before doing the next job.

To be continued.
