Chapter 431 Elsewhere Hotland

Disclaimer: I don't own anything. This is just a story for fun.

In the desert landscape of Hotland, Ser Manuel lead Gideon, Hunter Wizard, Rock Wizard, and the Eliminator towards the direction of one of the tunnels that connected to Waterfall. The group planned to go through Waterfall and back to Snowdin, where they would hopefully reconnect with Finn and the others. It was slow going through the sands, especially with the crystals high up on the celling that provided the area with heat and light like a real sun. Gideon hated Hotland. He was already hot and sweaty and no matter how many times, he tried to contact Laser Wizard with his communication crystal or demonic wishing eye, the evil wizard wouldn't respond. The magic that had sent Gideon and his companions to Hotland was really messing with his communicators. Gideon just let out a frustrated sigh. The only good thing going on for Gideon right now was traveling behind the Eliminator. The big robot's body provided Gideon with some shade, so at least he had some slight comfort. The group carried on with their travels.

In another part of Hotland a medium size airship was making it's way to the Coliseum of Fools. The airship was called Blade and it was a fairly long ship that had a front that resembled a large axe blade with eyes on the side. The Blade had two smaller axe blades on it's sides that acted like anchors when the occasion called for them. Standing on the deck looking at the scenery was a man named Jota.

Jota was a young man with slightly spiky cyan hair, and green eyes, as well as a large scar on the left side of his face. He wore a standard black military officers uniform with gold highlights, a white shirt underneath, a blue tie and a pair of brown boots.

Jota had once been the second in command of the Legion of Light and had fought against beings like Spirit to rid the universe of darkness, but over time things began to change. Countless battles against Spirit and her forces had eaten away at Jota's pride and resolve. On one particular battle Spirit had given Jota the scar on his face and told him, he was wasting his time and skills with the Legion of Light. This made Jota step back and closely examine the organization he worked with. The Legion of Light had made no progress in locating and freeing the Radiance and they had made little progress in taking out Spirit or any high ranking member of her organization. Spirit's organization on the other hand was growing in numbers and making progress in controlling the Underground and finding the Crystal Stars. It was only a matter of time before Spirit controlled the Underground and freed the Shadow Queen. Jato realized that Spirit and her organization were better organized and heading places, so one day he simply left the Legion of Light and joined Spirit and her organization working his way, until he was one of the highest ranked members of the group.

Jota was currently on a mission to retrieve one of the Crystal Stars, which was currently being used as a part of a trophy at the Coliseum of Fools. He was accompanied by the Axem Rangers, a group of powerful robots that worked for Smithy. There were five Axem Rangers, Axem Red, Axem Black, Axem Green, Axem Pink, and Axem Yellow. They were all similarly designed with two feet connected to a torso, with a silver metal midsection connecting to the upper parts of their body, two arms that helped them carry an axe, a round head with two eyes, a circular mouth, and a sharp pointy spike on the top. Axem Pink was the only girl in the group and had big eyelashes, Axem Black wore sunglasses, Axem Green was tall and skinny, Axem Yellow was big and fat, and Axem Red had really no defying features other then his color.

The squad of robots were determined to help Jota retrieve the Crystal Star and they would kill and destroy anyone or anything that got in their way. In the far distance Jota spotted another airship nestled on some rocks. Jota recognized it as a ship called the Sovereign and it was owned by a villain from another universe named Crow. Crow and a few other beings from his universe had been lured to this universe as a part of one of Spirit's plans. Jota wasn't sure what the plan was, but he trusted Spirit and decided to let things be and continue with the mission.

The Sovereign was a large purple airship with rockets and propellers. It was crewed by a crew of men wearing purple armor and purple robots. On the bridge of the ship was the villain Crow. Crow was a human wearing a purple and red metallic suit. He also had a matching purple helmet with two yellow headlamps. His gauntlets were asymmetrical, with the larger one acting as a grenade-launcher. His helmet and gauntlets both featured a white "X" emblem. Next to Crow doing paperwork was his majordomo and secretary Becky. Becky was a tan skinned woman with long white hair dressed in a brown jacket, pants, and orange hair band. Sitting behind Crow and Becky eating ice cream was Princess Mayapple. She had brown hair and wore a pink dress and gold crown.

Princess Mayapple was a princess of a kingdom back in Crow's universe and had been kidnapped multiple times by Crow in his evil plans to conquer their world. The princess had spent so much time with Crow, that she actually saw the villain as more of a friend then an actual enemy and even invited him to sporting combinations and races at her kingdom. Crow attended the events, but he only said he did to study the layout of the castle to make it easier for himself to kidnap Mayapple. Mayapple knew that Crow secretly enjoyed the events and she actually enjoyed hanging with Crow. She didn't even mind being kidnapped or held hostage since Crow was a good host and treated Mayapple well, until the hero known as Mack came to rescue her and put a stop to Crow's schemes. Mack was a man that wore blue high tech armor and carried a powerful sword.

That's how things used to work in their universe and that was the dynamic of Crow, Mayapple, and Mack. Crow would kidnap Mayapple as part of an evil plan and Mack would show up to save Mayapple and thwart Crow's plan in an epic battle. They did this a few hundred times and though Crow and Mayapple enjoyed the dramatic dynamic, Mack was starting to get sick of it and unfortunately for him, Spirit took notice of the hero's negative emotions and used her powers to bring them to the surface. Mack was chasing Crow who had just kidnapped Mayapple, while she had been on a date with Mack and during the chase Crow had stopped to shoot some insults at the hero, but instead of engaging in any form of heroic banter, Mack said something else instead. He said he was breaking up with Mayapple and that he no longer considered Crow a real villain or threat. Mack then left saying he was going to fight some real crime. Crow just stood there holding Mayapple, the two of them were just utterly stunned by the development.

Crow returned to his lair with Mayapple, still processing what Mack had said and began to wonder if he lost his evil edge. His pride was injured and he needed to prove to Mack that he was a serious world threat that should be taken seriously. Crow hit the drawing board and began to draw blueprints for his most deadliest weapon, a weapon he dubbed the Doom Howitzer. The weapon was going to be powerful, but it required a special and unique magic power source. Crow had Becky do some research and according to her, royals like Mayapple had a unique magical energy that would be perfect for powering up the Doom Howitzer, though it would require a total of five royals to get the desired results. There were plenty of royals in the world all of who Crow had kidnapped at one point or another. Crow was making plans to kidnap some royals, when Spirit opened a large dimensional rift in the sky getting the villain's attention. Crow sent some drones to investigate the portal and immediately became fascinated, when he learned it lead to another universe and saw it as the perfect opportunity to get Mack's attention. The Sovereign was loaded up and headed towards the portal. Crow sent Mack a message declaring he was going to conquer another universe. This got Mack's attention and he ended up flying after the Sovereign through the portal.

The Sovereign ended up in Hotland and landed on some rocks. Mack found himself a cave a few hundred yards from the Sovereign and used it to spy on the ship. Crow sent out more drones to spy on the new land and collect information, while he created a special radar to detect the magical energy of royals. He completed his device and he picked up quit a few magical signatures and some of them had energy levels higher then the royals back in Crow's universe. Crow soon found four energy signatures that caught his attention and three of them seemed to be in roughly the same area and two of those three appeared to be traveling together. He also picked up seven magical energy signatures that appeared to be traveling together, who had a similar energy signature to the ones he was going after, though their magical energy seemed to be weak in comparison. Crow decided to ignore them and go after the four that caught his attention.

Crow loaded up in a small ship he called the Death Pod and headed out to Waterfall, with Mack tailing him. The villain saw Mack following and smiled in anticipation for their upcoming battle.

In another part of Hotland, Blockner and his gang were leading Jordan's team to some old ruins to see if there were any clues to the whereabouts of Horror's Hand. The team looked at the ruins, but weren't having much luck. Jordan decided to take a break and he took a seat on a rock next to Blockner, who had sent his men the Trigger Twins away to the Coliseum of Fools to enter the Sibling Showdown.

"So what kind of treasure or weapon are you looking for out here?" Asked Jordan.

"I suppose there's no harm in telling you. I seek a weapon called the Nuclear Throne." Said Blockner.

"What kind of weapon is that?" Asked Jordan.

"Long ago in another universe a group of Technomancers worked to combine magic with nuclear weapons in an attempt to create a super weapon like no other. They succeeded in creating the Nuclear Throne, but it became self aware and too strong for them to control. The Nuclear Throne ravaged the planet it was on turning it into a wasteland, until it was finally captured and stopped. The weapon was placed in a vault made out of lead, steel, and concrete and was sent to this universe and buried." Said Blockner.

"Sounds like quit a deadly weapon." Said Jordan.

"It is and when I find it, I'm going to show everyone in the Underground that I'm a force to be reckoned with." Said Blockner.

"Well I wish you the best of luck with that." Said Jordan, before he stood up and went back to helping his team search for clues about Horror's Hand location.

Miles away from Jordan and Blockner's team was a large formation of black rocks and in those rocks was a cave that held the buried vault that contained the Nuclear Throne. The cave had been created a few days ago by a creature called Pollution. It had been another weapon created by the Technomancers and banished along with the Nuclear Throne. For several years Pollution had been deactivated and strapped to the outside of the vault, until the Nuclear Throne managed to send out a tiny spark of it's power and activate the other weapon. Pollution had used his own powers to dig and create the cave, but he wasn't able to break into the vault, which annoyed the trapped Nuclear Throne.

Pollution was a tall yellow robotic metal skeleton that wore a black jacket that appeared to be made out of toxic sludge and he had the same substance wrapped around his head and face giving him the impression he had flesh there. He also had a small grey exhaust pipe sticking out of the side of his head and he had a metal hobby horse with a exhaust pipe at the end, retractable motorcycle wheels, and was topped with a metal horse skull head with four eyes, and four exhaust pipes sticking out of the back that acted as handlebars.

The Nuclear Throne realized it was going to need help escaping from the vault, so he sent Pollution out to do just that. Pollution laughed as he rode his motorcycle horse out into Hotland.

At the Doctor's oasis lair, Lunar had just arrived with the captured Mom. The Doctor was thrilled by the sight of the captured human and had the Mants drag her down to the lab to have the red flowers tested on her. Little did the Doctor or any of his minions know two separate groups were making their way to the lair.

The first were a group of insect and mantis warriors from the Legion of Light lead by the Traitor Lord and Sol Crusher. Traitor Lord was a tall menacing male mantis with sharp claws, orange eyes, and wore a tattered black cape. Sol Crusher was a large yellow sun with a smily face, with some clouds underneath her, and a rainbow arch behind her. The Traitor Lord had once been a lord of a noble group known as the Mantis Tribe and had ruled it along with his three sisters, until he fell under the sway of Radiance and became obsessed with her. The other Mantis Lords were against this, banished their sibling and dubbed him the Traitor Lord.

The Legion of Light were allies of the Doctor and Traitor Lord and Sol Crusher along with a group of their troops were on their way to the Doctor's lair to propose a joint attack some of Spirit's forces.

The second group was made of four of Spirit's sisters and some of their forces, who were on their way to destroy the Doctor's and his forces. The assault team was lead by Spirit's sister, Miss Mecca. She was a green lizard-like creature wearing a white lab coat. Miss Mecca had weak magic, but was very skilled with machines. Miss Mecca was currently riding on the back of a large blue mech with a red and silver triangular head and it had two cannons for arms. The other sisters accompanying her were Mirage, Spinner, and Anne Droid V2.1.

Mirage was a tall mummy creature, whose legs were wrapped up to form a sharp point, she had two longs arms with claws, and and wore a cobra-like headpiece that covered both her head and shoulders. Spinner was a strange being that had a pink scythe blade for a head with a face that had a slasher smile on it. She had a yellow neck attached to a purple body with four tiny green wings, two pink arms, and a black round orb instead of legs. Anne Droid V2.1 was a being who looked more machine then living being. She had a black head with yellow eyes and a pink mouth surrounded by a clear dome that had a small satellite sticking out of it. Anne Droid V2.1 wore a pink heart shaped dress shirt with her arms cupped together and hanging down her front and grey skirt with a gridface pattern and a pink ridge at the bottom.

Anne Droid V2.1 had been the one that located the Doctor's lair and now she, her sisters, and some of their forces were on their way to destroy it. Accompanying the sisters were a few dozen X-Nauts and one of Miss Mecca's creations, Patchy the Cybersaur. He was a cybernetically-enhanced Ankylosaurus equipped with orange steel plated armor, titanium spikes, and back mounted heat-seeking missiles. With all these forces at their disposal Miss Mecca felt confident in attacking and destroying the Doctor and his forces.

Miles away Ser Manuel and his group continued on traveling through Hotland, when they heard a loud cracking sound and the ground shuddered and shook. Gideon looked down at the the ground beneath him and the Eliminator and saw cracks forming in it. The ground gave out and Gideon and the Eliminator and they plummeted down into a dark tunnel. Thankful for Gideon, the Eliminator grabbed him and cushioned their fall, when they hit the ground. The Eliminator got up and placed Gideon on the ground and made sure the boy was ok.

"Are you two alright?" Called Hunter Wizard.

"We're ok." Said Gideon.

The Eliminator activated some flashlights to light up the cave and the lights revealed dozens of Mants surrounding him and Gideon. Gideon's eyes went wide with terror.

"Get us out of here!" Yelled Gideon to the Eliminator.

"My thrusters were damaged in the fall. But do not fret, I will protect you and get you out of here." Said the Eliminator before he picked up Gideon and turned his other hand into a blaster.

The Eliminator blasted some of the Mants and took off down the tunnel with the Mants chasing after them. Hunter Wizard, Rock Wizard, and Se Manuel jumped down in the tunnel and chased after the Mants to save their companions.

To be continued.
