Chapter 433 Jungle Rumble

It was a peaceful night at the Jungle Kingdom palace. The stars were out and the guards on the wall were keeping an out for introducers. Oh the Westside wall the guards saw what they first presumed to be a shooting star, but it appeared to be getting closer to the place, a few seconds later a couple of the guards went down, with purple slime covering their faces as General Rat fly by overhead laughing.
"Hello Jungle Kingdom citizens! Tonight is the night I, General Rat bring you all crashing to your knees!" Declared General Rat.
The sight of the evil general and his toxic weapon sent a panic through the people of the Jungle Kingdom. Some ran away and hid behind cover, while others took a more defensive stance. Several of the guards threw spears and shot arrows at the airborne rodent, but he just simply flew higher into the air to avoid being hit. Sprocket used his fire powers to launch himself into the air and fly after General Rat. The villain was surprised by this action and flew away, with Sprocket chasing right after him. General Rat fired some slime balls at Sprocket, who blasted them into nothing with some fireballs.
"Aaaaaaa!" Cried General Rat in alarm.
"Not so tough now that you're weapon isn't as affective, are you." Said Sprocket as he chased after General Rat.
As that was going down the citizens that been hit with the slime shot to their feet and began to attack the unaffected. Tobe and Neo sprang into action and used their kung fu and the back of their swords to knock the infected out. Broot used his root and vines to wrap up the infected them and kept them restrained. The ninja monkeys and pajama ninjas scaled the un defended and joined the fray. Several of the invaders attacked the defenders, while a few tried to get at the well and food storage to fling small bombs that contained small amounts of the purple slime, and another group headed for the dungeon to release the infected down there.
In the dungeon, Jungle Princess, Canyon, Moss Man, and Doctor Princess heard the sound of the fighting and the sound of people running down to the dungeon. Canyon and Moss Man ran out of the dungeon to fight the invaders. Jungle Princess grabbed a spear and raced after the heroes to join them. Doctor Princess glanced at a bag that held her Science Whyzard outfit and gear. She supposed now was as good as any time to show Tobe her alter ego. Doctor Princess put on her outfit and armed herself with a staff and two shock gauntlets she had made from a defibrillator and then she changed out of the dungeon to join the others.
Outside General Rat flew around with Sprocket still chasing him. The villain looked down at all the fighting going on down below and saw that things weren't going his way. The infected were all unconscious or retrained and his ninja force weren't doing any better. General Rat looked over at the dungeon entrance and saw more of his forces being chased out by a group of guards, Canyon, Moss Man, Jungle Princess, and Doctor Princess. This was terrible! At this rate General Rat's forces would be defeated and chased out of the palace. The Jungle Kingdom forces would rally together with the Peace Protectors and attack Castle Lemongrab's construction site chasing General Rat and the other forces out of the Jungle Kingdom. General Rat needed to take a drastic action if he wanted to prevent that and claim victory. He began to fly around and look for something that would give him the advantage he needed.
Doctor Princess took down some ninjas with her staff and gauntlets and fought her way through the castle grounds, until she found herself fighting besides Tobe. Tobe glanced over at Doctor Princess and his eyes went a little wide as he recognized Doctor Princess, despite her Science Whyzard getup.
"Doctor Princess! Why are you out here and why are you dressed like that?" Asked Tobe as he hit a couple of ninjas in the head with his sword hilts knocking them out.
"Well you see I'm the vigilante Science Whyzard." Said Doctor Princess as she struck a ninja in the gut with her staff knocking him down.
"How did this come about?" Asked Tobe kicking a few enemies.
"Well it all started when some lightning throwing loon had a scene at a hospital I was at. There were no heroes or guards hanging about so I had to take matters into my own hands. I made up this outfit and came up with name Science Whyzard and I managed to beat the guy and it was really exciting. Ever since that little episode, I put on the outfit a few more times got me some gear and helped fight crime." Said Doctor Princess shocking a couple enemies with her gauntlets.
"So when were you planning on telling?" Asked Tobe striking an enemy in the neck with the back of his sword.
"I was planning to tell you, when you got back from your space adventure, but things kept popping up, so here I am now telling you. I'm sorry it's taken me this long to tell you." Said Doctor Princess knocking a few enemies down.
"It's ok, I just wished you had told me sooner. I don't like the idea of fighting criminals on your own without any amount of training or backup." Said Tobe kicking an enemy in the face.
"Well you can train me and accompany me when I go out to fight crime. We can make it a date." Said Doctor Princess with a smirk.
"I would like that." Said Tobe.
The two of them continued fighting.
Neo and Jungle Princess stood side by side as they fought the invaders.
"Princess I think it would be best if you headed back into the palace and found a safe place to conceal yourself, while we deal with the invaders." Said Neo.
"I will do no such thing! My people and my kingdom need me right now and I refuse to go into the palace and hide, while others fight on my behalf. I am not some fancy helpless princess, I am Jungle Princess and I will defend my home and people from theses invaders!" Declared Jungle Princess as she swung her spear and took down several enemies.
"Well princess its time for a little makeover!" Laughed General Rat as he flew by overhead and fired a glob of purple slime at the jungle ruler.
"NOOO!" Cried Neo before he pushed Jungle Princess out of the way and ended taking the glob of slime to the face.
"NEO!" Cried Jungle Princess as she scrambled to her feet.
Neo just stood there for a few seconds with slime on his face, before he slowly wiped it off. A mad look appeared on his face and he let out a great yell before he began to attack the Jungle Kingdom guards sending several of them flying and crashing to the ground. Neo then attacked Broot slicing him across the chest and sending the plant being reeling back. He tried to attack Doctor Princess, but Tobe stepped in and blocked the samurai's attack with his own sword.
"Neo, you have to stop this! The enemy has poisoned your mind!" Yelled Tobe.
Neo responded with a yell as he shoved Tobe away from himself and then he charged at him swinging his sword wildly. Tobe raised his swords and blocked Neo's attacks as he tried to look for an opening in the samurai's defenses so, he could get through and deliver a clean blow without severely hurting samurai, but Neo wouldn't let up. Even in this crazed state Neo was still a formidable warrior. Tobe jumped back from Neo to put some distance between him and his opponent. It was then that Jungle Princess decided to step in. Jungle Princess placed herself between Neo and Tobe, as Neo began to charge towards Tobe.
"Neo! Stop!" Cried Jungle Princess.
Amazingly Neo stopped a few inches from Jungle Princess and he looked at her in confusion. Neo raised his sword as if to strike Jungle Princess, but then he just froze up and his body began to shake greatly. It was as if his mind was fighting against the poison in it trying to come to his senses, but it looked like the madness was fixing to take back over and make him strike Jungle Princess down. Tobe sprang into action and got behind Neo to deliver a nerve strike using his fingers to Neo's neck. Neo let out a gasp as his eyes rolled back and he collapsed into Jungle Princess's arms and dropped his sword.
"It's going to be ok." Whispered Jungle Princess as she lowered the unconscious samurai to the ground.
The outcome wasn't what General Rat had in mind, but he could still make this work in his favor. He been flying in the air above the castle grounds with Sprocket chasing after, but he managed to keep an eye on the fight. General Rat stopped fleeing and hovered in the air above to face Sprocket.
"Giving up?" Asked Sprocket.
"You wish. The answers no. Instead I'm going to give all of you an offer you can't refuse." Said General Rat loudly getting everyone's attention.
"What kind of offer?" Asked Jungle Princess.
"From where I'm hovering it looks like you just lost someone you cared about to my little poison. I can fix him along with all your people, your rivers, and plants. I have the antidote, so it's no problem. All I ask is your complete surrender to Castle Lemongrab and swear loyalty." Said General Rat.
"Why don't I just roast you and take the antidote from you?" Asked Sprocket.
"Oh that won't work pal, because I don't have the antidote on me right now. It's back at my camp with my fellow commanders. I can simply just give them a call to destroy the antidote and everyone in this kingdom would be doomed." Said General Rat with a smirk.
"Can we have some time to think about your offer?" Asked Jungle Princess.
"Fine, but I'm leaving and if any of you try to follow me or my troops, I'm going to call my guys and tell them to destroy the antidote." Said General Rat before he flew off.
The remaining ninjas that were still conscious climbed the wall and fled into the jungle.
"So now what?" Asked Sprocket as he landed on the ground to face the others.
"Well I don't want to surrender, but my kingdom has very little choice." Said Jungle Princess looking defeated.
"What if we were able to infiltrate the enemy's camp and retrieve the antidote?" Asked Tobe.
"If we had the antidote we could heal everyone." Said Doctor Princess.
"That would save my kingdom." Said Jungle Princess.
"Then will go get it. Do you know where the enemy camp is?" Said Tobe.
"My scouts locate it a while back. I can give you a map and show you where it is, but how will you infiltrate it?" Said Jungle Princess.
"By using the ancient art of disguise." Said Tobe as he went over to a couple of the unconscious pajama ninjas and began to remove their uniforms.
Doctor Princess and the other Peace Protectors smiled at this.
The Castle Lemongrab base was part camp part construction site. There were several tents, carts, and trailers surrounding a concrete runway with a few partial constructed buildings on it. General Rat and his remaining troops arrived at the camp and were met by Monkey Red, Monkey Yellow, and Pajama Phil. The three commanders took notice of the small number of troops General Rat had returned with and demanded answers.
"The operation didn't run as smoothly as I originally anticipated, but rest assured the Jungle Kingdom will surrender to us soon. It may have cost us some troops, but it will all be worth it. Trust me." Said General Rat with confidence before he headed to a large trailer with a picture of a large rat on it that served as his home and command station.
The three commanders grumbled before heading back to work. In his trailer, General Rat opened a secret cupboard near his bed that contained a canister of blue liquid. It was the antidote and it was the key to making the Jungle Kingdom surrender to him. General Rat felt giddy as he thought about his victory and promotion.
Tobe, Moss Man, and Doctor Princess snuck through the jungle dressed as pajama ninjas. They soon reached the camp and split up. Doctor Princess headed off to look at the trailers to find the antidote and Tobe and Moss Man went to go cause a distraction in other parts of the camp. Moss Man used his plant powers to make roots shoot out of the surrounding grounds and attack the troops and construction site causing chaos. Tobe snuck around and located a container of gas and some matches, which he used to set some tents on fire, which caused more chaos and confusion in the camp. General Rat stuck his head out of his trailer to see what was going on and to yell at his troops to deal with it before heading back inside. Doctor Princess saw this and headed for the trailer.
Doctor Princess reached the trailer and made sure no one was looking before she opened the door and crept inside. General Rat was pacing back and forth holding a canister of blue liquid, which must have been the antidote. Doctor Princess ran at General Rat who saw her coming.
"What the?!" Cried General Rat in alarm.
Doctor Princess hit him with her shock gauntlets and the rodent let out a cry as he spasmed and hit the ground. Doctor Princess removed the canister out of General Rat's hand and left the trailer. She snuck to the edge of the camp and met up with Tobe and Moss Man. The three of them headed back into the jungle and towards the palace.
In the camp the fires had been put out, but there were a large group of roots and vines covering the construction site. Monkey Red was fixing to give some commands, when General Rat came stumbling from his trailer screaming.
"It's gone! It's gone! They took the antidote!"
Monkey Red mentally cursed himself and General Rat. He should have known that the fires and plant attacks were nothing more then distractions and General Rat should have done a better job of protecting the antidote. Monkey Red exchanged some looks with Monkey Yellow and Pajama Phil as they figured out their next move. They could chase after the thieves who were most likely heading back to the palace, so they could try capturing them and reclaim the antidote, but they had a good head start on them, so it was pointless.
"Looks like we have no choice, but to leave the Jungle Kingdom. With the antidote in Jungle Kingdom's hands we no longer have the advantage and they're going to be coming after us seeking revenge. I rather not be here when that happens." Said Monkey Red.
Monkey Yellow and Pajama Phil gave the command to the troops to start packing up the camp.
"My promotion." Whimpered General Rat.
"King and the others are going to be mad at you when we get back to Castle Lemongrab." Said Monkey Red with a smirk.
General Rat just groaned in defeat.
Doctor Princess, Tobe, and Moss Man arrived at the Jungle Kingdom palace. Doctor Princess gave Jungle Princess some of the antidote, who poured it into Neo's mouth. Neo immediately came to his senses and looked around in confusion before Jungle Princess kissed him on the lips. They stopped kissing after a few seconds and smiled at each other. Doctor Princess called Slippey to ask him to send some lab equipment, so she could mass produce the antidote. A few hours later the equipment arrived and Doctor Princess mass produced the antidote and with Canyon and Moss Man's help the antidote was spread through the Jungle Kingdom and everyone and everything was cured.
"Thank Doctor Princess and Peace Protectors, you saved my kingdom and my people. We are eternally grateful and if you ever need help you can count on the Jungle Kingdom to provide aid and assistance." Said Jungle Princess.
The heroes thanked her and headed back to base. The mission had been a complete success.
