Chapter 435 Elsewhere Waterfall 2

In Waterfall, Toriel, Jenka, Sly, Sheo, Samantha, Nyx, Ying, Chi, Kai, and Elise had just arrived searching for Isaac and Mom. Jenka was using a tracking spell that appeared as a hovering green ball of light to track the two humans, when the ball just suddenly stopped moving and exploded into nothing. The old witch cast the spell again and was met with the same results.
"What does that mean?" Asked Toriel with concern.
"The boy is still alive, but a powerful magical force is keeping me from finding him." Said Jenka with a frown.
"Guess we have to use the old fashion way to find Isaac. Search the area and ask the locals if they've seen anything." Said Samantha taking charge.
"We get to play detective!" Cheered Nyx as she clapped her hands.
With that said the group set out to search Waterfall.
Miles away in a hidden cave, a crying Isaac floated in the air trapped in a large soap bubble. Isaac had tried multiple times to bust out of the bubble and escape, but it was crafted by powerful magic created by Lady Depression. The poor cried in misery and despair and his tears would pass through the bottom of the bubble and fall into a bucket beneath it. Once full the bucket was carried away by some pale grey ghost and emptied into Lady Depression's bathtub throne and then the bucket was placed back under Isaac's bubble. Isaac wasn't the only prisoner trapped in the cave, there were a few dozen monsters trapped there as well, all of them shedding tears to keep Lady Depression hydrated and powerful.
Lady Depression was having a good soak in the tub of tears, when she felt a disturbance. Someone or something was trying to locate one of her tear sources using magic. Lady Depression had her own magic to defend against things like that, but the fact that someone was looking to find one of her tear sources and take it away sent her in a foul mood. She used her powers to conjure up a large soap bubble that showed her an image of Toriel's group. Lady Depression then used her magic to scan the group's souls for misery and depression and was a bit surprised that most of the group seemed to have some series emotional baggage that would produce a large amount of tears.
"I could go get theses people myself, but I think I'll let my little pets have some fun." Said Lady Depression with a smile as her bath water began to bubble and swirl.
Four shapes burst out of the tub and appeared before Lady Depression and grew into four large monsters. Theses were Lady Depression's demon servants. There was Avowal, the Demon of Denial, who resembled a large black heart covered in spikes, a pointy black tail, two clawed hands, a purple heart shaped core with cracks, a red heart shaped mouth with black fangs, and was accompanied by three floating skulls that each wore a purple heart shaped cloth that covered a part of their face. One skull had it's mouth covered, one had it's eyes covered, and the last one had it's ears covered. Next was Patience, the Demon of Anger, who resembled a black heart on it's side with a mouth full of fangs at one end and a red heart symbol with a tiny black heart symbol on it's sides. There was Amity, the Demon of Bargaining, who resembled a mix between a cobra and a rattlesnake. He had a black body, with a red hood and Hood. And lastly there was Solace the Demon of Depression, who resembled a large black heart shaped spider, with red eyes, red fangs, and sharp red pointed tipped feet.
"Go forth my demons and capture these people. I want to harvest their tears of misery and depression." Said Lady Depression showing them the image of Toriel's group.
The demons looked at the bubble and then they headed out of the cave to do their master's bidding. Lady Depression just smiled.
At the inn where Blockner had left Pedro and Lil' Hunter the two mercenaries were chilling and keeping an eye out for any big bounties as well as the return of Treasure Knight, General Pig, and General Sheep. Pedro was playing darts, while Lil' Hunter sat at the bar going through some personal items on his person. Lil' Hunter had very little memory of his past before joining Blockner's crew. The last thing he remembered was some kind of explosion before ending up in Hotland, where he was found by Blockner and recruited into his crew. Lil' Hunter knew how to use blaster and jetpack, but he had no idea what I.D.P.D stood for. A couple of the items he was studying were a flash drive that had a password, he didn't remember and a picture of man with white skin and brown hair standing next to a black woman with dark hair smiling and wearing the same blue uniform with I.D.P.D printed on them. Lil' Hunter suspected that the man in the picture was himself, but he looked different now. He had taken his helmet off a few times to study himself and Lil' Hunter now had grey skin, fangs, and three red eyes. Obviously something had happened to him to change his appearance, but he had no idea what. Lil' Hunter had no idea who the woman in the picture was, but he suspected she was important to him.
"Who are you and who am I?" Thought Lil' Hunter looking at the picture.
A mile outside the village the inn where the village was located their was a flash of light and the the woman from Lil' Hunter's photo appeared. She went by the name Rogue and she carried a blaster and had a strange grey device that allowed her to breath in toxic places and it acted as a universal translator. Rogue checked a small computer on her wrist and saw that the air was clean and breathable, so she removed the device from her mouth and took a deep breath. She was on a mission to find her best friend and coworker Lil' Hunter. Rogue was concerned about his safety since he disappeared a few months back and he had a flash drive on him with vital evidence that could put some bad people away for a very long time. Those same people were most likely hunting Lil' Hunter intending to kill him and destroy the evidence. Rogue needed to find him first.
"Just hang on a little longer man. I know you're around here somewhere and I'm going to find you and take you home." Said Rogue to herself before she set out and began to search the area.
In another part of Waterfall, Gata, BMO, Soos, Heckapoo, and Fern were still traveling through the vast junkyard after Treasure Knight, General Pig, and General Sheep. After some time the heroes began to have a hard time tracking the three villains and decided to rest and think about their next move.
"So what exactly are you trying to do?" Asked Fern.
"Well, we're trying to find a place called the Vault of Valefar, which we believe has a powerful magical item called a Crystal Star. There are seven Crystal Stars in total and they can be used to open a prison that holds a powerful evil being called the Shadow Queen. Our goal is to find the Crystal Stars before the Shadow Queen's minions do and destroy the Shadow Queen before she can hurt anyone and flood the world with darkness." Explained Gata.
"Sounds like a pretty big question." Said Fern.
"It is and we have no idea where the Vault is. I mean we believe it to be in or near this area controlled by mad scientist called Dr. Cranken, but that's about it." Said Heckapoo.
"So why don't we go see this mad scientist guy and see if he knows where the Vault is." Said Fern.
"I don't know. The guy sounds like his bad news and he has his own life army." Said Heckapoo.
"Well we're going to have to face him eventually since we are in his neighborhood. Also Dr. Cranken probably a better idea where the Vault is considering he lives here. At the very least we can rid this place of a villain." Said Fern.
"That would make things easier for Finn and the others and we have no other leads. I say we go for it." Said Gata.
"I'm down with that." Said Soos.
With that said the group headed out looking for Dr. Cranken's lair.
Further in the junkyard, Treasure Knight, General Pig, and General Sheep were marching forward, when Treasure Knight suddenly stopped.
"We're being watched." Said Treasure Knight to his companions.
It was then Magica stepped out from behind a pile of junk along with Morbidia, Gateaux, and Natasha.
"Who are you?" Asked Treasure Knight pointing his anchor cannon at the newcomers.
"Relax, we aren't your enemy. I am Magica and these are my associates Morbidia, Gateaux, and Natasha. We work for Roger Retinz. I believe he has reached out to your superiors to form an alliance." Said Magica.
"I think I recognize the name." Said General Pig.
"So what do you lot want?" Said General Sheep.
"I want to form an alliance with you. Our goals are most likely the same. To find treasure and magical items of power. It would benefit both of our organizations to work together." Said Magica.
"You make a good point. Alright we shall join forces and split whatever we find." Said Treasure Knight lowering his cannon.
"Excellent. What kind of leads do you have?" Said Magica.
"There's a vault that belongs to a demon that full of treasure and magic items. There's even a map that shows the location of other valuable items. Though no one knows where it is." Said Treasure Knight.
"Oh don't you worry. My magic can find it." Said Magica as she used her scepter to summon dozens of shadows and sent all in different directions.
"Now what?" Asked General Pig.
"Now we wait. It's only a matter of time before my shadows locate the Vault." Said Magica.
"I guess we should see about getting a boat incase the Vault is out in the water somewhere." Said General Sheep.
The others agreed and they set out looking for a boat or something they could turn into a makeshift raft.
In one corner of Waterfall there was a massive domed building on a small island with a dock. It was the lair of Dr. Cranken and his followers. Fawful, Midbus, and Sammy were currently visiting the base and using one of it's many workstations to repair the Crystal Star tracking device. At another table were Dr. Cranken's three female lab assistants the Slime Girls. They were three squid-like humanoid creatures named Molly, Medusa, and Marina.
Molly was the oldest sister and had an octopus-like appearance with tentacles in place of her arms and les as well as an extra two sprouting from her head. She had purple flowing hair, blue Skin and red irises. Molly wore a purple dress beneath a white lab coat.
Medusa was the youngest sister and had a jellyfish-like appearance. She had light green hair, lighter green skin, and wore a green heart-shaped hat with white frills that expanded outwards, circular red earnings, and a strapless green dress with frills beneath a lab coat. Medusa had red eyes, human arms and legs, and several tentacles that hung from her waist.
Marina was middle child of the Slime Sisters. She had yellow eyes, pink skin that faded into a lighter yellow color on her tentacles and hair. Her arms were replaced with tentacles, and she had two more tentacles protruding from her back. Instead of hair, she had four more tentacles atop her head. Marina wore a pink leotard with no shoulder straps and a hole showing her stomach. The leotard faded into yellow around her chest area. Marina wore a lab coat over her leotard.
Each of the Slime Sisters was a brilliant scientist that specialized in a specific field. Molly was skilled in machines and robotics, Medusa was skilled in biology and chemical formulas, and Marina was skilled at combing DNA and various substances to create something new. The Slime Girls were currently sitting at a table eating snacks and working on some tablets for different projects. The door to the room opened and Dr. Cranken strolled in followed by DJ Octavio and Siren.
"Big Sister Siren!" Said Sammy excitedly.
Siren was the total opposite of Demonica in terms of appearance. Siren was a tall beautiful woman with white skin, long green hair, and wore a long white dress. She had a beautiful face and an incredible voice that had the power to control and influence people as well as unleash powerful sound waves that could send people flying.
"Hello Little Sammy I'm glad you're safe." Said Siren.
"Are you and DJ Octavio really going to put on a big concert at the Lady Luctopus Casino?" Asked Sammy.
"I am and with the aid of DJ Octavio and Dr. Cranken, my voice will spread all over Waterfall and beyond! We will soon have legions of monsters working for us and the Underground and later the world will be under our control!" Said Siren with a smile before she looked over at DJ Octavio.
DJ Octavio was a red-violet octopus that wore a large gold helmet in the style of kabuto with an octopus-shaped emblem on the front. He had two tentacles crossed in front of him bearing a large, green, X-shaped scar.
"We shall rock the entire Underground." Said DJ Octavio.
There was a tapping sound and everyone turned to look at Dr. Cranken. Dr. Cranken was a tall humanoid with a purple octopus with mechanical implants. He wore grey dress shoes, white dress pants, a purple shirt, and a white lab coat. Dr. Cranken had a normal human righthand that wore a white glove and held a brown cane topped with a gold skull and a tentacle for his lefthand. His head had cyan colored eyes, three tentacles covering his mouth, and a metal shell that covered his entire head, with six metal spikes over his eyes, a golden metal G at the center of his forehead, blinking blue circuitry on the sides, and six blue vacuum tubes on the back.
"With the upgrades to your Octobot King II combined with the added power of Ben-K you will be unstoppable." Said Dr. Cranken pointing at a computer screen.
On the screen there was a large blue and robotic hammerhead shark with large triangular mouth, yellow fins on the side, and two tiny yellow antenna.
"A marvelous weapon especially when it unleashes it's hidden power." Said Siren.
"Excuse me sir, but we just got a report about one of our squads ran into some intruders and were beaten." Said Molly.
"Was it Captain Undyne and the Royal Guard?" Asked Sammy.
"No it was some strange newcomers. Pirates by the sound of it." Said Molly.
"Should we dispatch the Dark Bosses to deal them?" Asked Marina excitedly.
"It has been a while since we last dispatched them." Said Medusa.
"I guess they could all use a little fun and exercise. Very well send them out." Said Dr. Cranken.
"Oh this is going to be a bloodbath!" Cheered Marina.
"I don't see why you don't send the Dark Bosses after the Royal Guard." Said Medusa.
"I have my reasons. Anyhow I already set a plan in motion to end Undyne and crush the spirit of the Royal Guard. Besides we have other things to attend to. We have a concert to preform, a world to conquer, and a visit from Grodus who wants us to help him locate the Vault of Valefar. So we have a busy schedule ahead of us." Said Dr. Cranken.
Everyone else nodded in understanding and they all set out to work.
In another part of Waterfall, Resourceful Rat, Popple, Croco, and Pluto had just arrived and were setting out to Dr. Cranken's lair. The group of thieves needed to survey the lair for weaknesses and then they needed to gather a crew of people to help them bust in and steal one of Dr. Cranken's weapons, power it with the Crystal Star and then they would be rolling in power and riches.
