Chapter 442 Cloud Clash

Marceline, Lucinda, Lance, and Henry landed on the Sky Pirate ship to fight the pirates and rescue the Skymaids. The pirates didn't notice the four intruders at first since they were focused on the captured Skymaids on their deck. The Skymaids wailed and thrashed against the nets that held them, trying to break free, but they couldn't. The Sky Pirates laughed at their helpless victims and their big haul. Henry had enough of their attitude, so he blasted the pirates away from the Skymaids with a blast of water and Marceline and Lance went over and began to cut the nets open with their weapons.
"Stop them!" Ordered Orangusnake.
Several of the pirates charged forward only to be blasted away with a water blast from Henry. Boss Hosstrich produced a cannon from his chest and began to fire weird looking eggs at the heroes. Lucinda stepped forward and swung her hammer like a bat, striking the eggs and sending them back at Boss Hosstrich and some other pirates. The eggs exploded sending Boss Hosstrich and the other pirates crashing to the ground.
"You leave these chumps to me boss! I'll finish them off with my special ability!" Yelled Ratarang as he charged at Marceline and Lance.
There was a clicking sound and Ratarang transformed into a boomerang and fell to the ground a couple of feet from the heroes. Marceline and Lance blinked their eyes in confusion at the odd transformation. Lance picked up Ratarang and threw him at Ramaffe, who ducked and stood back up with a confident smile on her face.
"You missed!" Laughed Ramaffe.
Unfortunately for Ramaffe, like any other boomerang, Ratarang came back and struck her in the back of the head knocking her to the ground. Orangusnake just face palmed himself at the sight of his crew's stupidity. Marceline and Lance focussed back on the net, which they finally cut through and the Skymaids flew out thanking their rescuers, before heading to the open sky.
"Blast it all! You just cost me a great haul! Crew I want you to tear this lot to pieces and throw them overboard!" Yelled Orangusnake.
The pirates scrambled to their feet, regrouped, and were about to charge and attack, when CJ arrived with the sky boat and Patience and Slime Princess blasted the pirates with their elemental powers. Several of the pirates were frozen up their chest in ice, while the others were completely covered in slime. Orangusnake wiped the slime off his face and angrily pulled out a large laser cannon and began to fire it at the heroes. Marceline and her allies flew around and dodged the shots as they made their way to the pirate captain. Lance fired a blast of lightning at Orangusnake striking him and making him reel back. Marceline flew forward and sliced the cannon in half and kicked Orangusnake in the chest knocking him to the ground.
"Looks like your little hunt is over." Said Marcelin.
"You're going to pay!" Yelled Orangusnake as he pulled out a glowing purple axe and shot to his feet.
Before they could start fighting eight large Rainbow Dragons and a swarm of Atmospheric Jellyfish appeared above the ship hovering.
"What in the world?" Asked Marceline.
The creatures parted and Matilda appeared hovering looking down at Marceline at Lucinda.
"Well. Well. If it isn't the demon and the traitorous angel. I was looking for a change to claim my revenge on you two and her you are. Now justice can be served!" Said Matilda with a grin.
"Oh great. This nutjob." Muttered Lucinda.
"Go forth and destroy the sinners! Let Justice be done!" Ordered Matilda as she strummed her harp.
The Rainbow Dragons and the Atmospheric Jellyfish charged down on the pirate ship and began to attack everyone.
Elsewhere, Simon had just finished telling the Sky King and the other Cloud Kingdom rulers about the situation between the Candy Kingdom and the Fire Kingdom and what he needed the Cloud Kingdom's help with.
"So you need use to secure the skies over the courthouse and make sure no one launches an attack from there." Said Queen Cloud.
"That is correct." Said Simon.
"Why should we get involved in the affairs of Ooo?" Asked Goose God.
"Because there's a chance a chance the trail will be attacked by an outside force and a war could breakout between the Candy Kingdom and the Fire Kingdom. The situation in Ooo is tense and many of the kingdoms and civilizations have began to take sides and form alliances. Some have even began to close their boarders and increase security. If war breaks out it will spread all over Ooo dragging everyone in including the Cloud Kingdom. I don't want that to happen. I've seen what war does and I'm going to do everything in my power to prevent it, but I can't do it alone, I need your help. All of Ooo needs your help." Said Simon looking serious.
"I believe what Simon is saying to be true. I think we shall provide aid and protect the courthouse." Said Queen Cloud.
"I agree with the Queen. You will have my support." Said Storm Goddess.
"Well I don't think we should waste our forces on a matter involving the ground crawlers." Grumbled Goose God.
"It seems like my husband will be the one to decide what we do." Said Queen Cloud.
King Sky seemed to be in deep thought and just when he was about to give an answer there was a loud explosion and the doors to the room were blasted to bits.
"What the?!" Cried Storm Goddess.
"Greetings everyone." Said Cloud Wizard as he strolled in followed by Marcel and Evil Wizard, who carried a shrunken and crying El Niño Loco.
"Cloud Wizard? What is the meaning of this?!" Said Queen Cloud.
"Well I heard that one of the strongest wizards in the world was in our fair kingdom and I just wanted to fight him and I wanted an audience to watch our little battle. Soon I will be known as the strongest wizard and the strongest being in the Cloud Kingdom." Said Cloud Wizard.
"Why do you have my son?" Demanded Queen Cloud.
"Oh his just assurance to make sure none of you interfere in the fight. And I think I'll use him to make you surrender the Cloud Kingdom over to me." Said Cloud Wizard.
"You monster!" Yelled Queen Cloud.
"Nicely played master!" Laughed Marcel.
"Cloud Wizard, if I accept your challenge, will you release the child?" Asked Simon.
"Sure. Sure. Now, why don't we head outside and get things started." Said Cloud Wizard as he headed out with Marcel, Evil Wizard, and El Niño Loco.
Simon turned to Queen Cloud.
"Don't worry Queen Cloud, I will beat this fiend and save your son." Said Simon before heading outside.
The four rulers exchanged looks and headed out of the room passed several dozen unconscious Sky Warriors.
Back on the Sky Pirate airship the pirates as well as the heroes were doing their best to fight against the horde of animals Matilda sent to attack them. A large section of the airship's deck was on fire as pirates fought against Atmospheric Jellyfish. Marceline deflected a claw from a Rainbow Dragon, but then another Rainbow Dragon got behind her and knocked her axe from her hand and then wrapped it's body around her body in an attempt to crush her. Lance quickly came to Marceline's aid and shocked the dragon making it let go of Marceline. The vampire hero punched the dragon in the face knocking him to the ground.
"Thanks for the save." Said Marceline to Lance.
"No problem." Said Lance.
"There's no end to these things!" Complained Patience as she froze a few Atmospheric Jellyfish.
"We need to stop dealing with the creatures and go after the one controlling them. Matilda is controlling these guys using that harp to control them. We destroy the harp then the monsters will stop attacking." Said Matilda.
"Fine by me. Let's smash that harp." Said Marceline.
Marceline, Lucinda, Lance, and Henry Henry grouped together and fought their way towards Matilda.
"So you're going after me and my harp. Well I'm afraid you won't take me down so easily. Time for a special Devine Punishment! Behold great fusion union Orochi!" Said Matilda as she strummed her harp some more.
Several Atmospheric Jellyfish grouped and merged together forming one large round body and then the eight Rainbow Dragons stuck their tails into the blobby body forming some makeshift limbs. Matilda stood in the center of the body and smirked.
"Behold the might of justice!" Declared Matilda.
The eight dragons blasted fire at the heroes forcing to dodge out of the way and more fire spread to the airship. Marceline and Lucinda flew forward and each punched one of the dragon heads and sent them crashing into another dragon head. Lance blasted one head with lightning and Henry blasted another head with water. The remaining two heads let out an angry roar and swung their bodies around and slammed them into the four heroes knocking them out of the air and onto the deck of the airship. The other six dragons recovered and joined the other two to launch a combined fire attack.
"Ashes to ashes!" Laughed Matilda with glee.
Patience saw what was about to happen and looked for a way to help her friends. Her eyes landed on a large cloud floating by overhead and she zapped it with her powers turning it into a large frozen mound that dropped towards Matilda and her monster. Matilda noticed the large shadow of the ice mound and looked up. Her eyes went wide in horror at the falling ice mound and she quickly gave a new order to her monster.
"Destroy that quickly!"
The eight dragons turned their attention away from Marceline and the others and launched their attack at the ice mound instead. The ice mound exploded to bits, but in that moment of distraction Slime Princess shot out a strand of slime at the harp and yanked it out of a very startled Matilda's hands! Matilda watched in shock as the harp flew into Slime Princess's hands and then she handed it to Patience, who used her own powers to freeze it and then she threw it onto the deck of the sky boat and smashed it to bits!
"Nnnnnnooooooooo!" Screamed Matilda in dismay as her monster became undo and all the Rainbow Dragons and Atmospheric Jellyfish flew away.
Matilda just floated in the air watching all the creatures fled away. Marceline and Lucinda flew at Matilda as they both reared their fist back and threw a punch.
"No! No! No! No! NNNNNNNOOOOOO!" Cried Matilda in fear as she tried to fly away.
SMACK!
Both fist collided with Matilda's face and she was sent flying away at an incredible speed. Everyone watched Matilda fly and then they all gasped in stunned shock as the Sharknado arrived on the scene and sucked her up. Matilda let out a scream as a very large shark swallowed her up in one bite! The Sharknado then began to make it's way towards the pirate ship and sky boat sucking various objects up and destroying others.
"We're going to need a bigger boat." Said Rigby, his eyes wide in terror.
Elsewhere outside the meeting building, Simon stood facing Cloud Wizard, as Marcel, Evil Wizard, El Niño Loco, King Sky, Queen Cloud, Goose God, and Storm Goddess stood on the sidelines watching.
"Let's begin!" Said Cloud Wizard before he used his magic to form some clouds over Simon's head and made it hail on him.
Simon quickly used his magic to make an ice shield for himself to protect him from the attack. Cloud Wizard just smirked as he made the hail stop and then he made it rain acid to weaken the ice shield. The acid burned a few holes through the shield and dripped onto Simon burning his face and neck a little making him gasp and whence in pain. Cloud Wizard laughed as he made the acid stop and he made it rain knives. The blades hammered down breaking the shield, but Simon jumped out of the way and use a gust of ice wind to blow the cloud away and send it towards Cloud Wizard. Cloud Wizard made the clouds disappear and Simon beamed him in the head with a ice ball making the villain cry out in pain and reeled back. The large wizard rubbed his head and shot a glare at Simon.
"Try this on for size!" Yelled Cloud Wizard as he blasted some lightning from his hands.
Simon countered the lightning with some lightning of his own. The lightning blasts collided and both Cloud Wizard and Simon pressed forward with their attacks trying to break through and do the other harm. At first they seemed evenly matched and then Cloud Wizard's lightning began to push Simon's lightning back and make it's way towards Simon.
"I'm going to fry you!" Laughed Cloud Wizard.
Simon just gritted his teeth before he let out a mighty yell as he added more magic to his lightning making it push back Cloud Wizard's lightning and race towards the villain. Cloud Wizard's eyes went wide in shock before Simon's attack slammed into him making him scream in pain and fall to his hands and knees.
"Amazing!" Exclaimed Storm Goddess.
"Master!" Cried Marcel in dismay.
"Had enough?" Asked Simon.
"Never!" Yelled Cloud Wizard as he shot to his feet reshaping the clouds of his righthand into a hammer and charged forward.
Simon just pointed his right arm up into the air above and fired a freeze blast hitting a cloud and freezing it. The frozen cloud dropped from the air and hit Cloud Wizard right on the head and shattered. Cloud Wizard gasped in pain and fell on his face.
"Impressive." Said Goose God.
Cloud Wizard staggered to his feet as his righthand returned to normal. He turned to Marcel and called to him.
"Lend me your power Marcel!"
Marcel flew to Cloud Wizard and merged himself, with the wizard's righthand and replaced it. It now looked like Cloud Wizard had a cannon for a hand. Cloud Wizard laughed as he pointed his new hand at Simon and Marcel opened his mouth and unleashed a mighty gust of wind. Simon created an ice wall in front of himself to protect himself from the wind. The wind slammed into the wall and did no harm. Cloud Wizard just smirked as he leaped to the side and pointed Marcel at Simon from a different angle, but instead of blowing wind, Marcel was sucking like a vacuum cleaner. The crown on Simon's head flew and right into Cloud Wizard's lefthand!
"Yes! I have your source of power! You are completely helpless now! Now I will destroy!" Laughed Cloud Wizard as he fired a blast of lightning at Simon.
The lightning struck Simon and he exploded into a burst of snowflakes!
"What the?!" Cried Cloud Wizard in confusion as half a dozen Simons suddenly appeared surrounding him.
"The crown is indeed my main source of power, but I have lived a very long time and I have trained in the art of Fridjitzu. I've also picked up a few other magical tricks along the way." Said one Simon before he conjured up a fireball and threw it at Cloud Wizard.
The fireball struck Cloud Wizard's robe making it catch on fire. Cloud Wizard let out a panicked scream as he batted at the fire. Three of the Simon clones attacked Cloud Wizard with ice throwing stars making him stumble back, while two of the clones threw green balls of energy at Cloud Wizard's legs. The balls turned into vines and wrapped around Cloud Wizard's legs making him trip, fall, and release the crown. The real Simon picked up the crown and placed it back on his head. The clones vanished as Cloud Wizard ripped the vines from his legs and got to his feet.
"This isn't over! We're not done yet!" Yelled Cloud Wizard.
"That's where you're wrong Cloud Wizard. You were a mighty opponent, but I have faced far stronger ones. I have fought the Lich, Crimson, Hunson Abadeer, the Flame King, and many others over the years and I'm still standing. I will not tolerate evil like yourself especially after they kidnapped and threaten a small innocent child!" Said Simon as a giant hundred foot tall ice hand formed above.
Cloud Wizard's eyes bulged in fear and his mouth dropped open in disbelief. Marcel also had a fearful expression on his face. The ice clenched itself into a fist and flew forward.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Cloud Wizard and Marcel before the fist hit them.
SMACK!
The fist struck and Cloud Wizard and Marcel were sent flying into the air. The two of them flew before vanishing into the distance. The fist burst into snowflakes and Simon turned his gaze to Evil Wizard, who held El Niño Loco. Evil Wizard was incredibly pale. He gave a nervous laugh as he put the baby down before vanishing in a puff of smoke.
"Oh my sweet baby!" Cried Queen Cloud and picked up El Niño Loco.
Queen Cloud hugged and kissed her son, before turning to Simon.
"Thank you so much for saving my son! For that you will have the complete trust and aid of the Cloud Kingdom."
The other rulers nodded in agreement.
"Thank you all." Said Simon bowing his head in thanks.
Elsewhere the pirate ship was limping away from the Sharknado and all the heroes were on the sky boat trying to get away. The Sharknado ignored the pirate ship and focused on the sky boat, eventually catching up to it and sucking it. CJ wrestled with the wheel as the other heroes fended off the flying sharks and other objects. Mordecai and Rigby stood by not sure what to do. The two friends looked around to see if there was something they could do to help, when they spotted Shark with the SAM on his back in the center of the Sharknado.
"That must be the heart! If we get rid of that it'll stop this crazy storm!" Said Mordecai.
"How we supposed to do that?" Asked Rigby.
Mordecai looked around and spotted a flying thunder barrel flying by and his eyes landed on the wreckage of another sky boat with what appeared to be some kind of gun laying among it.
"I got a crazy idea." Said Mordecai before he from one bit of wreckage and then another.
Mordecai leaped again and again, until he reached the wreckage with the gun and picked it up. He then leaped up and grabbed the thunder barrel and he headed towards Shark. Shark saw Mordecai and lunged at him with his jaws. Mordecai stuffed the barrel into Shark's mouth and kicked away from him. Shark thrashed around and lunged at Mordecai him as he pointed his gun at him.
"SMILE YOU SON OF A...!"
BLAST!
KABOOM!
The barrel exploded destroying both Shark and the SAM. Mordecai was sent flying back as the Sharknado dissipated. Marceline caught Mordecai and got him into the boat as sharks fell to the ground below. CJ ran over to Mordecai and the others cheered for him.
Aboard Propeller Knight's ship the crew watched the Sharknado vanish. Gumbald looked at his computer and confirmed the SAM was destroyed. It was a loss, but Gumbald got a bit of inspiration for a new project that could bare some interesting possibilities. The ship flew away heading back to Castle Lemongrab.
On the ground below the Cloud Kingdom there were several dead sharks splattered and scattered around. One dead shark began to quiver as a flaming sword ripped through it from the inside and out crawled a battered and bruised Matilda. The angel glared down at the dead as she went over her defeat. Next time Matilda needed to get Marceline and Lucinda away from their friends, so they wouldn't interfere. Matilda flapped her wings and headed back to the Magician Kingdom.
Back in the Cloud Kingdom, Simon and the others had regrouped and now were heading back to Ooo after a long busy day. Their mission was a success.
