Chapter 454 Gideon's Gamble

At Lady Lucktopus Casino, Gideon was having a great time and wining tons of money and fans. The reason for Gideon's winning streak was due to his gravity powers and how he applied them. Gideon and the Eliminator had explored the casino and had studied the games. The boy became interested in the craps and roulette tables. Gideon got what little money he had and began to place bets. Thanks to his gravity powers Gideon was able to control the dice and the balls of the games allowing him to win big. Soon Gideon had gained a small fortune and earned the admiration of the other casino goers.
"I'm on a winning streak!" Laughed Gideon as he won another bet and collected his winnings.
The crowd cheered and clapped. Everyone was happy for Gideon, except for Daniel the God of Gambling who suspected that Gideon had some kind of trick up his sleeve that was allowing him to win the games. Daniel flew off to go make a important call to the secret owner of the casino.
Gideon had just won some more money, when the lights suddenly went off and a spotlight pointed itself at a door on the top of a flight of stairs. Everyone looked at the door in confusion as a jazz band began playing and the doors flew open. Out of the doors swaggered King Dice. The dice headed man made his way to Gideon as the lights turned back on.
"So this is the big winner I've been hearing about." Said King Dice with a grin.
"Who are you?" Asked Gideon.
"Why I'm the owner of this fine establishment. I'm King Dice and I've come to test your skills for the opportunity to win big." Said King Dice.
"How big?" Asked Gideon.
King Dice snapped his fingers and a couple of employees came in pushing a cart stacked high with gold and jewels. Gideon felt himself droll at the sight. He quickly regained his composure and faced King Dice.
"So what's the game will be playing?" Asked Gideon.
"Well it seems we're both good at dice, so I got a fun and simple game for us. We're going to roll a single dice and whoever rolls a higher number wins." Said King Dice as he pulled out a black dice with white markings and red spots on it.
"Fine by me." Said Gideon.
"If you win you get the gold and jewels, but if I win I get all your winnings. Deal?" Said King Dice.
"Deal." Said Gideon.
King Dice threw the dice onto a craps table and got a three. Gideon smiled with glee. This was going to be a easy win. Gideon took the dice and threw it. He focused his magic on it and tried to make the dice land on five, but instead it landed on two. The crowd gasped in shock and Gideon's mouth dropped open in disbelief. King Dice just smirked as his men collected Gideon's money.
"Well that was fun." Said King Dice as he turned to leave.
"Wait! I want another roll!" Yelled Gideon.
"Oh you do. What will you wager?" Said King Dice as he turned to face Gideon.
"I wager my robot servant!" Said Gideon pointing at the Eliminator.
"Sir I don't think that is wise." Said the Eliminator.
"Can it tin man!" Said Gideon glaring at the Eliminator.
"Alright. I accept your challenge." Said King Dice.
This time Gideon rolled the dice first and got a five. The crowd cheered for Gideon. King Dice went next and rolled the dice and Gideon used his powers to make the dice land on a lower number, but the dice landed on six. Again Gideon was shocked by the outcome as a couple of employees dragged the Eliminator away.
"Told you it was a bad idea." Called the Eliminator.
"I want another roll!" Said Gideon.
"What will you bet now?" Asked King Dice looking amused.
"I bet my supplies and the clothes on my back." Said Gideon.
"Very well. Let's have another roll." Said King Dice.
King Dice rolled the dice and got a two. Gideon rolled the dice and focused a huge amount of his gravity magic on it to get a higher number. He focused so hard that he actually caused cracks to form on the table, but despite all this effort the dice landed on one. Gideon just stared at the dice in complete disbelief. King Dice just smirked as his employees grabbed Gideon and proceeded to remove his supplies and clothes leaving the poor boy naked. The crowd laughed at Gideon as he covered himself with an embarrassed look on his face. After a few minutes of laughing the crowd left and went back to gambling. Gideon looked at the dice on the table and then King Dice.
"You cheated!" Yelled Gideon in rage.
"I did, but my cheating was used to counter your cheating." Said King Dice.
"I lost everything!" Yelled Gideon.
"You did, but that's on you. You could have simply refused to play and then you continued to play against me and lose everything you had. You have a unique little power, but you used it in my house and everyone knows the house always wins. You got greedy and stupid what happened here was your fault. Also you played against me and I'm the devil's righthand man, so don't mess with me." Said King Dice.
"What's the deal with the dice we played with?" Demanded Gideon.
"That dice is actually a demon called Bhaar-Boot. He was once a rigged dice used by a trickster god named Loki, until I won it from him. Bhaar-Boot is said the embodiment of frustration and unfairness. I use him to deal with people like you who think they can just waltz on into one of my casinos and get rich using a few tricks." Said King Dice as he picked up the dice and put it in his pocket.
Gideon felt on the verge of angry tears and considered attacking King Dice, but he looked at the casino owner who had a big confident look on his face and felt a cold shudder go down his back. King Dice could kill Gideon with ease. The boy stood no chance against the dice headed man. Gideon had to bide his time and either contact Laser Wizard's team to come rescue him or wait for a rescue from the Gravity Falls's explorers. King Dice smiled at Gideon.
"Oh don't feel so bad. There are other ways to earn money here. I'll have a few my boys take you to one of our more physical games." Said King Dice as he snapped his fingers.
A dog-like humanoid that resembled a bulldog, with grey-brown fur and and wearing a red torn up jacket, a white shirt, orange pants and black shoes appeared along with green lizard-like humanoid with a blue jacket, a yellow vest. a white shirt, brown pants, khaki shoes, and a top hat. The lizard also carried a cane.
"Yes master." Said the lizard man.
"Mander. I want you and Dogman to escort Gideon to the Underside and be sure to clothe him. Can't have a naked person playing the games down there." Said King Dice.
"Yes master." Said Mander.
"Wait what?!" Cried Gideon as Dogman grabbed him and threw him over his shoulder.
Mander, Dogman, and Gideon headed to an elevator and entered. King Dice waved to them as they left and then he left the area to head back to the Land of Tainted Souls. The elevator went down for several minutes and then it stopped and opened up. Mander and Dogman walked out into what appeared to be a storage area of some kind filled with crates. Mander searched a couple of the crates and then he approached Dogman and Gideon with what appeared to be a diaper. Dogman held Gideon up and Mander placed the garment on the helpless boy. Gideon was placed on the ground and he looked at himself in an old dirty mirror. He was happy to be clothed even in the weird garment. Gideon studied the garment and realized it wasn't a diaper, but a mawashi, a cloth worn by sumo wrestlers!
Gideon thought about running, but Mander and Dogman lead him to another door and opened it. The three of them entered a large chamber that had a large crowd of unsavory looking individuals gathered around what appeared to be fighting rings were monsters were fighting. The air was filled with loud shouting and the smell of blood and sweat. It was an underground fight club!
"Welcome to the Underside Fight Club! Here you fight to earn money! The crowd going to love you fresh meat!" Cackled Mander.
Gideon went pale and fainted.
