Chapter 459 Unusual Teams

At the Lady Lucktopus Casino, Hunter Wizard, Rock Wizard, and Ser Manuel had gone to a lower level of the casino to an area that was used for concerts to find Siren and put a stop to her evil plan. They found Siren on a strange double decker stage with Octavio. The stage itself was a mech called the Octobot King II. The bottom stage of the Octobot King II had a turntable, wasabi stalks, speakers, a metal section at the front with four holes capable of shooting bombs and other objects, and two large gold and sparkly metal extendable fists with brass knuckles on them. The upper stage of the Octobot King II had more speakers and a arch of spotlights. The back of the machine had thrusters and exhaust pipes.
Currently the Octobot King II was on the ground and the large robotic hammerhead shark Ben-K hovered off to the side. There appeared to be no other guard in the immediate area, but they could simply be hiding in the shadows ready to spring into action. Hunter Wizard and his allies knew they had the element of surprise and they had to quickly use it if they wanted to take Siren out and put a stop to her plan.
"Here goes nothing." Thought Hunter Wizard as he readied his bow and took aim at Siren on the stage.
Just when Hunter Wizard was about to fire there was a flash of bright light next to him and his allies hiding place that got the attention of Siren and Octavio. The light cleared to reveal the Salvation Rangers who were looking around very confused.
"Where the heck are we?" Asked Salvation Red.
"No clue. I thought Lady Lucktopus Casino and we ended up here." Said Salvation Beige.
Hunter Wizard glanced at the Salvation Rangers and then quickly focused back on Siren and fired an arrow at her. The arrow flew through the air at Siren and just when it seemed like it was about to hit her another arrow came flying in from the side and struck Hunter Wizard's arrow from the air and sent it clattering to the ground. Siren just smirked before she spoke.
"It seems we have some uninvited guests trying to stop my performance. Prism Rangers. Mad Midget Five. Time for you to shine!"
Twelve colorful men wearing spandex leaped from the shadows and stood before Hunter Wizard and his allies. The ones who appeared to be the Prism Rangers were the seven colors of the rainbow. They all wore helmets with visors and sliver mouths and they had a rainbow stripe that went up to their waist and to their right shoulder and another rainbow stripe that went down the center of their helmets. The Prism Rangers carried a variety of weapons. Prism Red carried a sword, Prism Blue carried a gun, Prism Yellow had a spear, Prism Green carried a magic staff, Prism Purple had an axe, Prism Orange had a bow and arrow, and Prism Indigo only appeared to have his fists.
The ones who appeared to be the Mad Midget Five were short men wearing spandex, scarfs, laser blasters holstered in white belts, and helmets that didn't cover their faces. They each had a different colored uniform. There was red, yellow, green, blue, and pink. Their uniforms were nearly identical except for the man in red spandex had pointy horns on his helmet and the man in pink spandex had on a miniskirt. Each of the Mad Midget Five had a playing card symbol on their chest. The man in red had joker, the man in yellow had a diamond, the man in green had a club, the man in blue had a spade, and the man in pink had a heart.
The two teams took up fighting possess and gave a battle cry.
"When the darkness of evil is on the rise..." Said Prism Red.
"We crash the villainous Party!" Said Prism Blue.
"Our seven lights spring to the task..." Said Prism Yellow.
"To save the world with courage and hope!" Said Prism Green.
"With our powers combined!" Said Prism Purple.
"We are...!" Said Prism Orange.
"A rainbow of unity!" Said Prism Indigo.
"The Prism Rangers!" Said the team together.
The Mad Midget Five went next.
"Card gone wild! Joker!" Said the man in red.
"One hard gangster! Diamond!" Said the man in yellow.
"You can find me at the! Club!" Said the man in green.
"Have your pets neutered or Spade!" Said the man in blue.
"Owowowowow I'm hurt! I mean Heart!" Said the man in pink.
"Together we are the Mad Midget Five!" Said the team together.
There was a brief awkward silence and Siren burst out laughing and clapped for the teams.
"Aren't they really something? The Mad Midget Five are a team of villains I hired and the Prism Rangers are a team of heroes under my spell. They may seem a bit dorky and weird, but I can assure you they are powerful and skilled warriors." Said Siren.
"Man those Prism Rangers are like us, but cooler." Said Salvation Beige.
"Hey we are pretty cool. Don't start doubting and comparing us to other teams." Said Salvation Red.
"But they have a better battle call and actually weapons." Said Salvation Black.
"But you forget we have the Thongs of Virtue and a Teleportation Stone. We got this! We can take these prism punks and show everyone who the best Rangers are!" Said Salvation Red.
"Wait, why do we have to fight these guys? We can just escape using my stone." Said Salvation Beige.
"Because we can't build us a good hero reputation if we just run away from every opponent we face." Said Salvation Red.
"They still have weapons." Said Salvation Pink.
"Don't worry I have a fool proof plan." Said Salvation Red.
Salvation Red took a dramatic pose and pointed a finger at the Prism Rangers.
"Prism Rangers! We the Salvation Rangers challenge you to a fight to see who the better Ranger team is, but it's going to be a real fight. No fancy weapons, just our fists!" Said Salvation Red.
The Prism Rangers exchanged looks and then Prism Red spoke.
"We accept your challenge, Salvation Rangers."
The Prism Rangers put away their weapons, raised their fists, and took up fighting stances.
"We can take them now." Said Salvation Red.
"They still might be skilled warriors without their weapons." Said Salvation Green.
"Relax, we have the upper hand, as long as Salvation Black doesn't get knocked out." Whispered Salvation Red.
"So it looks like those Salvation Rangers will handle the Prism Rangers, so that just leave the Mad Midget Five to us." Said Hunter Wizard.
"As long as the Salvation Rangers are able to hold out or beat the Prism Rangers, I think the odds are in our favor." Said Rock Wizard.
The Salvation Rangers let out a mighty yell and charged at the Prism Rangers to do battle. The Mad Midget Five pulled out their blasters and began firing at Hunter Wizard, Rock Wizard, and Ser Manuel. Rock Wizard quickly used his magic to bring up a wall made of rocks to block the attack and Hunter Wizard and Ser Manuel jumped out from the sides and fired some arrows and bullets at the Mad Midget Five. Heart and Club got struck by the attacks and fell to the ground stunned, which angered Joker, Diamond, and Spade and made them rush forward to attack.
Salvation Red was facing off against Prism Red, Salvation Blue was facing off against Prism Blue, Salvation Green was facing off against Prism Green, Salvation Yellow faced off against Prism Yellow, Salvation Black faced off against Prism Indigo, Salvation Pink faced off against Prism Purple, and Salvation Beige faced off against Prism Orange. It was a colorful battle.
Salvation Red threw punches at Prism Red, who blocked and deflected the blows, before he delivered a couple of punches of his own to Salvation Red's face and gut knocking him to the ground. Salvation Blue blocked a punch from Prism Blue and then threw a sloppy kick at him, only to have Prism Blue duck it and deliver a sweeping kick that knocked Salvation Blue off his feet and to the ground. Salvation Green who was the tallest member of the Salvation Rangers had a height advantage over Prism Green. He had Prism Green on the defensive due to his height and reach. Salvation Green threw a series of punches at Prism Green and actually managed to land one on his face and knock him to the ground. The tall Salvation Ranger tried to stomp on Prism Green, but he rolled out of the way and delivered a kick to the back of Salvation Green's leg causing him to yell in pain and fall face first to the ground.
"The bigger they are the harder they fall!" Said Prism Green as he shot to his feet.
Salvation Yellow, who was the most muscular of the Salvation Rangers was doing fairly well against Prism Yellow. He blocked Prism Yellow's punches and then he knocked the Prism Ranger down with a punch of his own. Salvation Yellow then picked Prism Yellow up and threw him through the air and into a wall. Prism Yellow groaned as he staggered to his feet as Salvation Yellow stomped towards him. Salvation Yellow threw a punch at Prism Yellow, who dodged out of the way and the punch hit the wall behind him instead. Salvation Yellow's fist hit the wall hard with a loud thud making him yell in pain and reel back clutching his wounded hand. Prism Yellow then stepped forward and delivered several punches to Salvation Yellow knocking him to the ground.
"Fight smarter not harder." Said Prism Yellow.
Salvation Black got kicked in the gut by Prism Indigo knocking him down, Salvation Pink got punched in the face by Prism Purple knocking him down, and Salvation Beige got kicked in the chest knocking him to the ground. The Salvation Rangers were down.
"Do you surrender?" Asked Prism Red.
"Never! We're not done yet! Salvation Black do your thing!" Said Salvation Red as he and the other Salvation Rangers staggered to their feet.
"On it!" Said Salvation Black.
Using the powers of the Thong of Healing, Salvation Black healed himself and his teammates completely restoring them.
"No matter how many times you knock us down, will just get back up!" Said Salvation Red.
"It seems we have to play a little dirty." Said Prism Red as he nodded to Prism Blue.
Prism Blue pulled out his blaster and blasted Salvation Black with a burst of energy sending him flying through the air and crashing into a wall before falling to the ground in an unconscious heap. Salvation Black was out of the fight and could no longer heal his teammates.
"Healers down!" Said Salvation Green.
"Time to run!" Said Salvation Beige as he pulled out the teleportation stone.
Prism Blue blasted the stone from Salvation Beige's hand and the rest of the Prism Rangers pulled out their weapons.
"Oh this is going to suck." Said Salvation Pink.
The Prism Rangers leaped forward and struck the Salvation Rangers with their weapons and sent them all crashing to the ground in a unconscious heap. The Prism Rangers looked at the beaten team and they turned their attention to the battle between Hunter Wizard and his allies and the Mad Midget Five.
Hunter Wizard had conjured up a spear and was using it to block and defend himself from Joker and Spade who were attacking him with energy beam swords, Ser Manuel was getting into a shootout with Diamond, and Rock Wizard was hurling rocks at Heart and Club who blasted them out of the air with their blasters. The Prism Rangers watched the fighting for a little bit then they charged in to join the battle. Hunter Wizard saw that more enemies were heading their way and wasn't liking his team's odds. He leaped away from Joker and Spade and pulled out a round blue orb the size of a softball. Hunter Wizard threw the ball to the ground and it exploded with a bright flash unleashing a cloud of smoke that covered the area. When the smoke cleared Hunter Wizard and his allies were nowhere to be found. The Prism Rangers and the Mad Midget Five were about to go run and search for them, but Siren gave a command to them.
"Forget about them. I already alerted security. Those three will either be captured or chased off. Now we have a concert to prepare for."
"What about these guys?" Asked Prism Red pointing at the Salvation Rangers.
"I guess will keep them around. Once I play my special melody, they'll gladly join my ranks." Said Siren with a chuckle as she looked at the Salvation Rangers.
