Chapter 463 Twisted Time 3

As Bubblegum paced around in her cell trying to figure out an escape plan four individuals stood outside Gumbaldia planning to break in. One individual was a tall eight foot man wearing purple spandex, armor, with a face mask consulting a device on his wrist.
"I'm detecting a large amount of tachyons in the dungeon. It has to be her." Said the man to his three companies.
The three companies were one man and two women all of whom were wearing shoes, jeans, and hoodies that obscured their faces. The man wore a ocean blue hoodie with a picture of a wolf face on the back, one woman wore a black hoodie with a picture of a lightning bolt on the back, and the other wore a blue hoodie with a picture of a snow flake on the back.
"This is big. This could change everything." Said the woman with the snowflake hoodie.
"Which means Gumbald isn't just going to just let her go. He'll throw everything at us and pursue us all the way to Sanctuary. Heck he even might declare all out war and try to wipe us out." Said the man with the wolf hoodie.
"I hear you, but this might be our one shot to stop Gumbald and from Gumbaldia ever being made. It's a risk we got to take." Said the woman with the lightning bolt hoodie.
"Alright you know the plan. You two cause a commotion and get everyone's attention, while I go bust Bubblegum from the dungeon." Said the man in armor to the man with the wolf hoodie and the woman in the lightning hoodie.
"Got it." Said the man in the wolf hoodie before he and the woman in the lightning hoodie headed towards Gumbaldia.
The armored man turned to the woman in the snowflake hoodie.
"Once things start heating up, we're going to need you to get us out of there. You holding up ok?" Said the armored man.
"Yeah...I'm doing ok. Kind of crazy that Bubblegum is back. Some of the others at Sanctuary aren't going to be happy to see her or feel conflicted about seeing her." Said the woman in the snowflake hoodie.
"That figures. Bubblegum wasn't exactly the most popular person in Ooo, before she took her little time trip. But how do you feel about her being back?" Said the armored man.
"Happy, but also nervous. A lot of things happened, while Bubblegum was gone and I'm concerned about how'll she will react." Said the woman with the snowflake hoodie.
"We'll deal with that bridge, when we cross it. Right now we have a mission to complete." Said the armored man.
His companion nodded. A few minutes later several street lights in Gumbaldia exploded and a few buildings suddenly burst into flames due to electricity bursting out of the sockets and setting furniture on fire. At about the same time several water pipes scattered about the city exploded flooding a good portion of the streets and caused geysers to shoot up. Many of Gumbaldia's inhabitants were running about trying to deal with the damages. It was total chaos and a good distraction.
"Showtime." Said the armored man as he pressed a button on his wrist and went invisible.
The woman with the snowflake hoodie stood and watched the chaos unfold as she waited for the signal to spring into action.
In the dungeon, Bubblegum could hear the sounds of yelling and running feet outside. Bubblegum glanced at the guards stationed in the dungeon. Two Earclopses, two bears, two raptor dinosaurs, two Pistachions, two cheese ninjas, two monkeys, two Blood Monks, two puppets, and two Puckerberries. There was the sound of approaching feet as a woman, Bubblegum had never seen before walked up to her cell.
"Hello Bubblegum. My name is Matilda Matchstick. I am an angel and a servant of justice for Emperor Gumbald and for the empire of Gumbaldia. I am here to provide some comfort as well as hear you confess your sins and resolve you of them, before your execution." Said the woman.
Bubblegum had never met Matilda before, but she had hears various stories and reports about a mad angel that had it out for Marceline and Lucinda. The thought of a once nobel being of justice serving Gumbald disturbed Bubblegum. Bubblegum decided to try reasoning with Matilda in hope she might release her and help her escape.
"Matilda please listen to me. I am an innocent person. My Uncle Gumbald is a mad and evil man. He sent me to this future to prevent me from going to my trial for what I did to the Fire Kingdom. Gumbald took advantage of my absence and rose to power. Now he's trying to kill me to prevent me from returning to my time and attending the trial, so this future can be cemented and permanent. I need to return to my time and stand trial. I will take any punishment the court gives me, but I need your help. You're an angel of justice. You're supposed to see that justice is upheld. I'm begging you for help! I need to be back in my own time with my family and kingdom!" Pleaded Bubblegum.
Matilda studied Bubblegum for a few moments and then spoke.
"I'm sorry sinner, but no can do. The Emperor has ordered that you must be punished for your numerous crimes. The Emperor's word is law and he's a great man that created this utopian society. I swore I would serve and protect Gumbaldia and you cannot be allowed to return to your time. Now do you have any confessions or are you just going keep them to yourself?" Said Matilda.
Before Bubblegum could respond three baseball metal spheres rolled across the ground towards the guards' feet. The guards looked at the spheres a few seconds before they explode into bright lights. The raptors, Pistachions, and Puckerberries fell to the ground with their bodies partial frozen and covered in ice. Before any of the guards could react the armored man became visible between the two monkeys and slammed their heads together dropping them to the ground. The Earclopses tried to rush the intruder, but he pulled out another sphere and threw it at them. The sphere exploded with a loud noise causing the Earclopses to fall over and crush both the bears and puppets. The Blood Monks and cheese ninjas rushed the armored man. One Blood Monk leaped into the air at the armored man, but he quickly pulled out a blaster and shot him out of the air sending him crashing into one of the cheese ninjas sending them both crashing to the ground. The remaining cheese ninja pulled out a whip made out of string cheese and whipped it at the armored man wrapping it around his arm. The armored man pressed a button on his wrist and a surge of electricity went through his arm, up the whip, and shocked the cheese ninja. The intruder then yanked on the whip and slammed the cheese ninja into the remaining Blood monk knocking the two of them out.
Bubblegum looked at the armored man in amazement, while Matilda glared at him.
"I figured some vile heathens would try and rescue this sinner from her punishment." Said Matilda as she pulled out a flaming sword.
"You know who the real villain is. You just refuse to see it. Now step aside." Said the armored man as he pulled out a purple laser sword.
"Never." Said Matilda as she rushed forward swinging her sword.
The armored met Matilda's blade with his own and the two swords sparked as they collided. Matilda wildly swung her sword at the armored man, who blocked her blows and backed away from her. As they fought the armored man dropped a metal cube with lights on the ground near an open cell. The cube produced a life size hologram of Marceline and Lucinda.
"Hey crazy pants!" Said the hologram of Marceline to Matilda.
Matilda saw the holograms and let out a wild angry yell and charged at them swinging her sword. The blade harmlessly passed through the holograms confusing Matilda. Before Matilda could recover the armored man pulled out his blaster and shot Matilda in the back with a laser sending her flying and crashing into the open cell. The armored man closed the door on the cell as Matilda laid on the ground groaning. He then turned to Bubblegum's cell and blasted the lock on it freeing Bubblegum.
"Come with me if you want to live and return to your time." Said the armored man.
"Who are you?" Asked Bubblegum.
The man reached up and removed his helmet revealing his face.
"Chicle!" Cried Bubblegum in surprise.
It was indeed Chicle. He looked mostly the same, but now he had some stubble on his face and his left eye was robotic. Chicle gave Bubblegum a small smile.
"Long time no see cuz. I'd like to catch up with you, but now we got to focus on getting out of here. The rest of my team is waiting on us." Said Chicle before he put his helmet back on.
The two of them headed out of the dungeon and down a hallway towards the nearest exit. On the way there the duo passed several unconscious and defeated guards. It seemed like Chicle had been busy on his way to the dungeon. Bubblegum and Chicle finally made it outside, only to encounter a huge number of guards surrounding them. Several R.E.D.s flew onto the scene and pointed their blasters at Bubblegum and Chicle.
"You're not going anywhere!" Growled a bear.
"That's what you think." Said Chicle.
At that moment a bat flew in on the scene with electricity crackling on it's wings. The bat streaked through the air at the R.E.D.s and destroyed them with a burst of lightning, before changing into the girl with the lightning hoodie. The girl dropped to the ground and slammed her fist into it releasing a powerful burst of electricity that knocked out several of the guards. The girl stood up and removed her hood to reveal a pale girl with long black hair with a white lightning shaped streak going through it. A bear roared and charged at the girl swinging it's claws at her. The girl dodged the attack and then she grabbed the bear's arm and threw him at some other guards knocking them down.
A tidal wave then suddenly appeared slamming into another group of guards and the man with the wolf hoodie appeared. The man removed his hood to reveal he had white skin and short aqua blue hair. He started kicking and punching guards sending them flying with ease. A Triceratops rushed at the man. The man just smirked as he changed into a hulking aqua blue werewolf and met the charging dinosaur. He grabbed the Triceratops by the horns and slammed it to the ground and then lifted it up into the air and hurled it at a group of guards knocking them down. The werewolf changed back into his human form.
Bubblegum stared at the newcomers in amazement.
"Who are they?" She asked.
"The girl is named Mavis and she's the daughter of Marceline and Lance. The guy is called Noah and he's the son of Lucinda and Henry." Explained Chicle.
"Marceline and Lucinda had kids?" Asked Bubblegum looking a bit stunned.
"A lot happened, while you were gone." Said Chicle.
More guards and R.E.D.s arrived on the scene along with a couple of Safety Bots and Matilda.
"You will not escape you filthy abominations!" Yelled Matilda.
"Says you." Said Mavis sticking her tongue out at Matilda.
The sky then became dark with clouds and snow began to fall as the woman with the snowflake hoodie descended onto the scene before the gathered enemies.
"Yeah auntie is on the scene and she's going to kick some serious ass!" Cheered Mavis.
"You lot are in for it." Said Noah with a smirk.
Bubblegum took notice of the guards and saw that most of them were staring at the woman in fear.
"It's the Ice Princess!" Cried a Pistachion.
"I don't care! Kill her!" Yelled Matilda.
The woman raised her hands and unleashed a mighty freezing blizzard blast that either cent the guards flying or froze them in ice. In a matter of seconds Matilda and most of the guards were frozen in ice. The woman then turned her attention to the R.E.D.s and fired giant icicles at them that struck and destroyed. The Safety Bots tried to attack, but the woman used her powers to conjure up a giant snow golem that roared and ripped off the arms of one Safety Bot and used it to smash the head of the other Safety Bot. The snow golem slammed it's fist through the first Safety Bot and ripped several wires out of it. The Safety Bot collapsed to the ground and the snow golem let out a final roar and vanished in flash of snow flakes.
The woman then conjured up a giant snow owl with her powers and removed her hood to reveal medium length white hair blue skin and glasses. At first Bubblegum thought the woman was Betty, but this person looked to be in their twenties. She had similar features to Betty, but some different ones as well. Bubblegum stared at the woman and then she figured out who it was.
"Eria..." Said Bubblegum looking stunned.
"Hello Bubblegum it's been a long time. I would like to talk with you, but we need to get moving before reinforcements arrive." Said Eria.
Bubblegum nodded as she and Chicle got onto the owl. The owl took off into the air and Eria, Mavis, and Noah used their powers to fly after. Gumbald's face appeared on all the screens in Gumbaldia and he delivered a message to the fleeing group.
"You may have escaped me niece, but mark my words. You will never return to your own time. As for the rest of you tell the Grand Master this means war!"
Bubblegum and the others flew away from Gumbaldia and headed West.
