Chapter 465 Tank Rampage

Resourceful Rat sat at the main controls of the tank he and his allies had just stolen from Dr. Cranken's lab. Around him were Popple, Croco, Pluto, Pisci, Cenn, Monsieur Scarlet, Astotheles and his forty thieves. The group had done it. They had broken into Dr. Cranken's lab during the fighting and confusion caused by Stratos and his forces and had successfully a massive tank. A tank that was now powered up by a Crystal Star. Resourceful Rat looked at the controls and saw a label that read 'Typhoon'. It must have been the name of the tank.
"So what's the plan?" Asked Croco.
"First lets do a little destruction to the lab, so we don't have to worry too much about pursuit." Said Resourceful Rat as he pressed a few buttons.
A half dozen missiles flew out of the guns on the Typhoon and struck the lab building exploding loudly and causing a good bit of damage. Resourceful Rat and the others cheered and laughed at the destruction.
"Now let's take this bad boy for a joyride and see what else it can do. Then we can go ripoff the Lady Lucktopus." Said Resourceful Rat.
"I want to hit the Coliseum of Fools and get a little revenge on Hoaxe for chasing us out of Hotland." Said Astotheles.
"Fine by me. We're on a roll." Said Resourceful Rat as he drove the Typhoon away from the lab.
As the tank drove away, Stratos and his troops watched it leave and looked at the damage it had done to the lab. This was a golden opportunity to destroy the lab and everyone in it striking a great blow to Spirit and her forces. Stratos quickly pulled out his communication crystal and made some calls to Luminous and other members of the Legion of Light, telling them what happened and urging them to come quickly, so they could launch a full scale attack. Luminous was pleased by this news.
"Hold your position. Reinforcements are heading your way." Said Luminous.
"Understood." Said Stratos.
Inside the lab things were chaotic. Cyan who was critically injured was taken to the medical bay to get her wounds tended to. Sammy was in the medical bay fretting over her sister. The vehicle bay and most of the vehicles in it were destroyed and the building had taken a fair amount of damage. Dr. Cranken was furious about the recent misfortunes that had befallen him and his allies. Grodus and Cyan had both been attacked on their way up to the lab, with Cyan being greatly injured and a dangerous vehicle had been stolen right out from Dr. Cranken's tentacles being used to damage his lair before escaping into Waterfall. It was very maddening.
A slig approached Dr. Cranken with a tablet that showed security footage of the theft of Typhoon. Dr. Cranken scowled at the thieves in the footage as Fawful and Midbus walked over to see what he was looking at. Fawful immediately recognized Resourceful Rat and some of his crew due to the little battle in Snowdin.
"Fink rats! They stole the Crystal Star from us in Snowdin and broke my detecting device!" Yelled Fawful.
"So it appears these ruffians have stolen from us more then once. It's time for us to strike back. Is your Crystal Star detector repaired?" Said Dr. Cranken.
"It is working." Said Fawful.
"Splendid. I shall provide you with a boat and some of my best people will aid you in the hunt." Said Dr. Cranken before he summoned Molly of the Slime Girls and the Dark Bosses.
"How may I be of service master?" Asked Molly.
"I want you all to assist Fawful and Midbus in tracking down Typhoon and take it back along with the Crystal Star the thieves apparently have in their possession. You may use any weapons or tools to accomplish this task." Said Dr. Cranken.
"Don't you worry sir. I have just the machine for the job." Said Molly with a chuckle.
Several minutes later two armored boats exited the lab. One boat had Fawful, Midbus, and Molly. The other boat had Dark Rabbit, Serious Kuma, Bye-Bye Kitten, and Razor Mane. Molly pulled out a remote and pressed a button on it opening a underwater gate on the lab to open up to allow one of her creations to swim out. Said creation was a giant robotic anglerfish named Ventis. Ventis had a large orange head with white eyes, a mouth full of sharp metal teeth, a lure on the front of it's head with a light, two grey metal fins, two metal grey feelers on the bottom, a narrow orange body, and a large propeller at the end.

Fawful pulled out his Crystal Star detector and used it to give him directions to find out which direction Resourceful Rat and his crew went. After he got the reading the boats and the robotic fish took off.
Miles away on the Cash Cruiser, the passengers had been alerted about what happened with Hu$tlebone$ and his special guests. The Sorrows had turned traitor and had battled the deities along with the escaped Elemental masks and had won. The deities had been captured and taken by the Sorrows to the Lady Lucktopus Casino using a submarine summoned by Pliskhan and Hu$tlebone$ had been seriously injured by the Elementals before they left. Elise had changed into her armored form and offered up her healing powers to help Hu$tlebone$ to recover. Lami was very thankful for this and had Elise brought to the medical bay to tend to
Hu$tlebone$. Afterwards Lami decided to call a staff meeting with some of the crew to discuss what happened.
Wizard, Grill, Simmer, Zacharie, and the Judge attended the meeting. Undyne also attended the meeting, since she was the captain of the Royal Guard and this was a security matter that concerned the Underground. Quote and Gata also attended the meeting.
"Alright everyone we had a serious security breach. Some powerful magical items are missing. The Elementals are running around causing trouble and were missing a teleportation stone, the Thongs of Virtue, and Deathcalibur. There was a powerful magical seal on the room where the items were kept and only the crew members in this room knew how to undo it without setting off the alarms. Now we're going to get to the bottom of this one way or another, so I suggest whoever is responsible to step forward and confess and save us some trouble." Said Lami eyeballing the crew members.
Zacharie and the Judge exchanged guilty looks and the Judge spoke.
"It was me and Zacharie. We were the ones who undid the spell and caused the chaos."
"Why?" Asked Lami.
"It was part of a deal we made." Said Zacharie.
"With who?" Asked Wizard.
"With me." Said Queen Odette as she suddenly appeared in the room causing everyone to jump.
"You?! But I thought you allied yourself with Hu$tlebone$." Said Lami.
"I only pretended to side with him." Said Queen Odette.
"So you're on King Dice and the New Gods side?" Asked Grill.
"I'm on nobody's side, but my own. Everything I've done was to cause chaos and death. More souls are going to end up in the Neitherworld, so it's a big win for me. I lost a couple of souls making a deal with your friends, but I'm going to end up with more souls, so it's a win for me." Said Queen Odette.
Undyne gritted her teeth as she conjured up a spear and hurled it at Queen Odette, but she vanished a few seconds before the spear reached her and the spear ended up imbedded in the wall. Everyone just stood their silently for a few seconds and then Lami turned to Zacharie and the Judge.
"What exactly did Queen Odette do for you?"
"She brought back my brother Valerie." Said the Judge.
"She brought back my girlfriend Sugar." Said Zacharie.
"I can understand why you made the deal." Said Lami.
"So what's our next move?" Asked Wizard.
"We will continue making our way to the Lady Lucktopus and drop off our customers. Once
Hu$tlebone$ recovers will either go after the New Gods to free the gods that got captured or we go find the magical items that were stolen." Said Lami.
"I'll help you in anyway I can." Said Undyne.
"Thank you." Said Lami with a smile.
On the backend of the ship, Chi, Kai, Nyx, and Ying were hanging out, when they suddenly noticed a large floating shape appear behind the ship and give chase. It was the heart shaped demon Patience the Demon of Anger and a servant of Lady Depression. Patience let out a roar and began to fire red blasts of energy at the ship striking it and making it shake. Several passengers ran out to the back to see what was going on including Toriel, Jenka, Soos, BMO, Napstablook, Mack, and Heckapoo. They all stared at Patience as it roared and fired a few more energy blasts forcing them to duck. Nyx decided to take charge of the situation.
"Me and Ying will deal with this." Said Nyx before she used her magic to make Ying big and jumped onto his back.
Ying flew out towards Patience and Nyx began to fire magical fireworks at the demon they exploded into bright colors and angered the demon. Nyx stuck her tongue out at Patience and the demon gave chase heading away from the boat. Ying flew about dodging Patience's chopping jaws and energy blasts. As the chase went on away from the boat the crowd of onlookers noticed something big moving beneath the water towards Nyx, Ying, and Patience.
"Nyx look out! There's something in the water!" Yelled Chi.
Nyx and Ying heard the call and saw something begin to emerge out of the water, so they dodged out of the way as the enormous form of Amity the Demon of Bargaining and another servant of Lady Depression burst out of the water with it's jaws wide open. The snake demon missed Nyx and Ying and ended up devouring and killing Patience instead. Nyx and Ying looked up at Amity in horror as it turned it's attention towards them with the remains of Patience dripping from it's mouth. Amity was about to attack, when there was a loud whooshing sound followed by a boom and fiery explosion that engulfed Amity! The demon gave one final grown and shudder before dying and sank into the water. Everyone just looked stunned at the demon's sudden demise.
"What the heck did that?!" Yelled Heckapoo as she produced some binoculars and began to look around for the culprit.
After a few seconds of looking Heckapoo spotted the Typhoon out in the distance. Apparently Resourceful Rat and his crew had used Amity as target practice and to see how powerful the tank really was.
"Direct hit! This bad boy is really something!" Said Croco.
"Can you imagine if we had more then one Crystal Star powering this tank up?" Asked Popple.
"Should we blast that big boat next?" Asked Pluto.
"Nah let's move on to a few land targets." Said Resourceful Rat as he took the controls and the tank began to slowly turn away.
Ying and Nyx returned to the boat as Samantha, Alcor, Fern, Gata, Undyne, Sly, Sheo, Lami, Wizard, Grill, Simmer, Quote, Zacharie, Judge, and the newly revived and awake Sugar and Valerie arrived on the scene.
"What happened?" Asked Gata.
Heckapoo quickly filled the others in on what happened.
"I don't like the sound of this." Said Undyne with a scowl.
"How come? Didn't the drivers of that tank kill a big monster for us?" Asked BMO.
"They may have killed that monster, but my instincts are telling me they didn't do it out of the goodness of their hearts or to protect anyone. Those guys were just playing with their weapon and I don't like the idea of some unknown group driving around in a weapon like that. Who knows what kind of damage they can cause." Said Undyne.
"Well I guess we have to go and put a stop to it." Said Gata.
"My powers can get us on top of that tank." Said Heckapoo.
"And with my tech skills I can shutdown that bad boy." Said Gata as she pulled out her cylinder and it transformed into a spear.
"I'm coming to." Said BMO.
"I'm going as well." Said Fern.
"You can count me in. I feel like a little action." Said Mack pulling out his sword.
Quote pulled out his blaster and gave a nod.
"Alright looks like it's me, Quote, Gata, Heckapoo, Mack, and BMO are heading out." Said Undyne.
Heckapoo opened a portal and the little team went through it and vanished.
A portal appeared above the backend of the Typhoon and Undyne and the rest of the team jumped out and were immediately confronted by a trio of bug guards. Undyne quickly took out one guard with a spear and Mack took out one with his sword, but the third guard raced off yelling and alerting the rest of the crew about the intruders. Soon Undyne and her team were confronted by Pluto, Pisci, Cenn, Monsieur Scarlet, Astotheles, and several more bug bandits.
"Looks like we have some intruders." Said Pluto cracking his knuckles.
"And it seems one of them is Captain Undyne of the Royal Guard." Said Astotheles pulling out his sword.
"Looks like things are about to get interesting." Said Monsieur Scarlet as he raised his umbrella.
"In the name of the Royal Guar and King Asgore, I order you all to stop or you will face serious consequences." Said Undyne.
"We're not stopping for nobody! We're the ones with the numbers and the power! Soon everyone is going to know who we are and we're going to be the ones calling the shots in the Underground." Declared Pluto.
"Get them!" Ordered Astotheles to the bandits.
The bandits charged forward and began to fight Undyne and her team. As that was going on the boats containing Fawful, Midbus, Molly, Dark Rabbit, Serious Kuma, Bye-Bye Kitten, and Razor Mane caught up to the Typhoon and the group began to climb up onto the tank. They reached the top and they joined in on the fight turning it into a three way fight. Midbus charged at Pluto and the two of them began to exchange punches, Serious Kuma charged at Pisci swinging his hammer and forcing the female beetle to back away, Bye-Bye Kitten and Razor Mane threw their knives and blades at Mack and Monsieur Scarlet who were in the process of fighting each other and were both forced to go on the defensive to defend against the thrown projectiles, Heckapoo was dodging boomerang throws from Cenn, Undyne, Fern, Dark Rabbit, and Astotheles circled each other and then they charged at each other swinging their weapons, and Gata who had BMO strapped to her back was dodging lasers alongside Quote that were being fired by Fawful and Molly who were holding laser guns. The bug bandits watched the fights from the sidelines and every now and then when they thought they saw an opening they would leap in to try and attack the enemies only to be knocked away.
As the fighting went on the Typhoon continued on to shore. Ventis swam beneath the tank waiting for instructions to attack.
Back at the Cash Cruiser another demon was stalking the ship. Up above the Cash Cruiser on the cave celling was Solace the Demon of Depression and the last of Lady Depression's four demon minions. Solace was a large demon spider spying on the ship and was preparing to jump down on it and grab some of the customers and bring them to Lady Depression, so she could force them to cry and add her tears to her bathtub. The demon studied a few of the passengers particularly Toriel and Jenka. After a few more minutes of studying Solace decided to spring into action. The demon lowered itself down towards the ship using it's webbing and landed on the deck near Toriel and Jenka.
"What the?!" Cried Toriel in surprise, but before she and Jenka could do anything Solace fired some webs at the two and quickly wrapped them up.
Samantha, Nyx, Ying, Chi, Kai, Alcor, and Lami were standing a few dozen yards away and noticed the attack.
"Hey stop right there!" Yelled Samantha as Solace grabbed Toriel and Jenka.
The group watched as Solace pulled itself up to the celling and began to crawl away back towards Lady Depression's lair. Nyx used her magic to make Ying big and she and the others jumped on and flew after the demon and it's captives.
Miles away on a stretch of shore Mr. Dark, Dark Corvo, Doopliss, and Vivian were awaiting the arrival of Spirit and her forces to pick them up. Unaware that Finn, Phoebe, Huntress Wizard, Loke, Viper, Endol, and Merak were tracking them and heading their way and that the Typhoon was making it's way to the shore they were on.
