But just to give you guys a heads-up about rage. You see, a human beings anger stems from an increase in hormones and adrenaline in the body. However, the brain can only produce these chemicals at such a rate for a limited time, eventually giving up and turning apathic. Therefore, Ventus does have a dragon trait he inherited from his daddy but he's still have a human trait. It allowed his body to continue to producing hormones and adrenaline far beyond the norm, basically an endless supply, thus increasing his dragonic trait to an immeasurable degree.
If that's not enough, there are a certain Marvel Comic made an impact of the Hulk when he turned back into Bruce Banner which the healing factor of his has a limit and not enough anger to keep his Hulk mode.
Leaving Whiskey Peak! The Truth of the Baroque Works!
Whiskey Peak
After Ventus manage to easily defeat the two Baroque Works agents while dealing Zoro and Luffy, he passed out because of his loss of blood from his left leg and his rage have reached its limit. Shanise, Anna, and Mr. 9 were able to drag Zoro and Luffy out of the battle while trying to find a place to hide and to regroup. Nami and Vivi were negotiating which Anna is getting a pretty good idea of what the navigator is talking about and she doesn't like her way of negotiating. After that, Anna is able to get the bullet out of the young Dragoons leg as she patched it up with bandages while catching up with Shanise since they're having some time to catch up.
Mr. 9 listen to their stories about Ventus which he's curious about the young Dragoon and why did he turn into a dragon in the first place since it doesn't come from the Devil Fruit powers. After the two finished the story, Mr. 9 is not only furious and disgust of Ventus' uncles cruel treatment and his mother's death, he's also glad to hear that Freyja and Fratley take him in, training him to become a Dragoon.
Ventus is still sleeping peacefully until he heard a laugh that's coming from Luffy.
"Oh! Why didn't you say so, Zoro?!" Luffy said with a big grin. "I was figuring we beat all of those guys because they didn't make any food you like."
"WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD THINK THAT?!" Zoro yelled with a tick mark on his head, showing the white eyes and shark-like teeth.
"What a funny mix-up." Luffy said, laughing.
"Guy/You two, shut up!" Nami and Anna shouting at them in unison, showing their white eyes and shark-like teeth.
Ventus then groaned as he slowly open up his eyes and sat up. He then rubbed his sleep out of his eyes, seeing Luffy and Zoro got scolded by Nami and Anna and notice Vivi is conversing with the navigator. Shanise and Mr. 9 notice the young Dragoon is waking up as she spoke.
"Seems you're awake." Shanise said with a smile. "You okay?"
"Just tired." Ventus grunts.
"How's your leg?" Vivi asked. "Anna managed to get the bullet out and disinfect the leg."
"It's a bit sore, but I'll live. Thanks." Ventus answered, thanking her.
"Well, there it is. In exchange for taking you home, I'd like 1 billion berries." Nami offered, turned to Vivi when the princess averted her gaze. "You saw strong Ventus is, right? If you ask me, it isn't a bad deal."
"No, I can't." Vivi replied instantly. "But I appreciate the help you've given me so far."
"Why not? You're a princess after all. So, aren't you rich?" Nami asks, wondering why.
"Looks like you're not aware of what's happening." Ventus muttered, earned their attention as he stood up while tried to ignore the pain. "I don't know the full details, but her homeland, Alabasta, is on the verge of the civil war. Recently, the sign of discontent began to appear, the people revolted, and the kingdom fell in chaos and disarray. Because of that, the money is used for weapons and supplies, making it impossible for Vivi to give us 1 billion berries."
Luffy, Zoro, Anna, Shanise, and Mr. 9 now begin to understand what the young Dragoon is telling them about Alabasta. Nami doesn't like it since she knows he is making a point about the berries, but she reluctantly let it go.
"He's right." Vivi agreed. "But one day, I learned of a secret organization: called Baroque Works! I've found out that my people were manipulated by this organization, but that was the only information I could gather about them. I didn't know what to do, so I went to Igaram for help. You see, he's kept a close eye on me ever since I was a child."
"Old tube haired man?" Luffy asks.
"You mean Mr. 8?" Shanise asks surprisingly.
"Two-Oh yes." Vivi complies, before continuing the explanation. "I asked him if he would help me to infiltrate Baroque Works so that I could see who is pulling our strings behind the scenes and what exactly they were up too."
"You've got some guts, considering you're a princess." Zoro compliments with an impressed smirk. "So, were you able to find out what their plan was?"
"To create an Ideal Nation." Nami answered for her, causing Vivi, Shanise, and Mr. 9 shocked when the navigator knew the plan. "Anyway, that's what Igaram said it was. Is that what you found out?"
"It's not, that was only the cover story the boss was using. It's a lie to cover their tracks." Vivi explains with a scowl.
"Well if it's not some Ideal Nation, then what is it?" Shanise inquires. "I mean, we've been kept in the dark from the Baroque Works for too long."
"For once I have agree with Ms. Mon-I mean, Shanise." Mr. 9 agrees. "Our former boss must have some other goal in his mind."
"Their true goal is to take over the Alabasta Kingdom." Vivi told them, making them shocked. "I have to get back somehow to warn everybody, to tell them the truth and stop the fighting. If I don't do something, if I don't tell them..."
"Okay, I get it." Nami said with a disappointed tone. "I see how it is. Yeah, it all starts to make-OW!"
"Nami, don't be rude." Anna berates her when she smack her the back of her head.
"There's more to life than some money, you know." Ventus told her, turned his head to Vivi. "Anyway, we'll help you get to Alabasta. That is, if captain allows it after hearing your explanation and why you're affiliated with the Baroque Works in the first place. It's enough for me to help you stop the war and the Baroque Works, but I'm afraid that's not my decision. Like I said, it's the captains decision."
"But, aren't you the captain?" Vivi asked in confusion.
"Not quite. I'm a Quartermaster and a Dragoon." Ventus shook his head. "Luffy is the captain. He maybe strong, but he's also a complete idiot."
"Hey!" Luffy remarks while Zoro, Mr. 9, and Shanise snickered, resent that offence as he turned to Vivi. "Before that, did you find out who's in charge?"
"What?! The boss's identity?!" Vivi exclaims shockingly. "You shouldn't ask that!?"
"But you know, don't you?" Luffy asks.
"Ask me anything but that! If I tell you, your lives will be put in danger too!?" Vivi protests, waving her hands.
"Yeah, I'll pass." Nami said with a nervous laugh. "This guy is trying to take over an entire country after all. I don't really want someone like that chasing after me, thank you!"
"No, don't! I don't care how strong you people are, you wouldn't stand a chance against one of the Seven Warlords in the sea!" Vivi protests. "Against Crocodile!"
And with that cue of moment of silence, Vivi accidentally identified the leader of the Baroque Works, Crocodile, the Seven Warlords of the Seas.
"Who now?" Luffy asks again, broke the silence.
That left Vivi, Nami, and Mr. 9 face paled in shock while Ventus, Anna, Shanise, and Zoro look at them as they spoke.
"You had to say it." Zoro, Ventus, Shanise, and Anna said in unison with annoyance.
Suddenly, the Unluckies came at the top of the building out of nowhere which it earned their attention when they turned to the two.
"Oh no! The Unluckies!?" Mr. 9 exclaims as the two then fly in the sky.
Nami then snapped at Vivi with white eyes and shark-like teeth, crying while grab hold of the princess, shaking her to death. Vivi is also crying while apologize to the navigator, still in a state of shock.
"Hey! A Warlord?! That's cool!?" Luffy exclaims excitedly.
"Not too bad." Zoro added with a smirk.
"Guess that makes, what three Warlords identified?" Anna inquired, earned a nod from Ventus.
Vivi is still trying to apologize to Nami, but the navigator is too busy shaking the princess while still snapped, leaving Luffy laughing. Nami finished venting the frustration as she starts crying as she spoke.
"Being hunted by a Warlord in the Grand Line? That's more than I handle." Nami cried.
"So when are we gonna get to see this guy?" Zoro asks.
'I wonder how strong he is.' Ventus thought, wondering.
"I wonder what he looks like." Luffy added with a big grin.
"SHUT UP YOU!?" Nami snapped again, pointing at the two as she then stormed out of the alley. "It's been nice knowing you idiots, thanks for everything!?"
"Where are you going?" Luffy questions.
"They don't know what I look like yet, I'm leaving!" Nami shouts.
"Good luck getting away from the Unluckies." Shanise muttered. "Cuz' they already know who she looks like."
And it so happens that Shanise is right when Nami saw Mr. 13 is sketching and Ms. Friday is next to him. He then took out five drawing, showing the pictures of the Straw Hat crew.
"Wow~ That's so life-like." Nami praise the ottar, clapping as the Unluckies flew off while the navigator grumbled in frustration.
"I'm really sorry." Vivi apologizes.
"It's fine. We knew this would happen eventually." Ventus shrugs.
"She'll get over it." Luffy added.
"Where is she planning on going anyway?" Zoro rhetorically questions, smirking. "Well then, looks like the five of us are gonna be sitting right at the very top of Baroque Works hitlist."
"That sounds awesome." Luffy said, laughing.
Nami is now in a depressed state, sit with her legs close to her chest and facing the wall. Vivi is behind the navigator as she spoke.
"Um, I do have 500 thousand berries in savings that I can give you." Vivi said, tried to cheer her up.
"You have nothing to fear." The voice of Igaram told her, earned their attention when they saw him in a different outfit that's similar to Vivi's and his curly hair is tied into a ponytail. He's carrying to three dummies. "It's-Ahem! Ma~ma~mama! It's going to be alright princess, I've come up with a plan."
"Igaram, what are you..." Vivi asked surprisingly.
"Mr. 8, no Igaram, I don't think it's going to work." Shanise told him.
"Yeah, the Baroque Works will recognize you in that outfit of yours." Mr. 9 added, agree to Shanise.
"It's fine, as I said, I've got a plan." Igaram told them.
"That's a real funny outfit, old guy." Luffy stated.
'If only they were simple-minded as you.' Ventus, Anna, Mr. 9, and Shanise mentally thought, making them sweat drop.
'Mostly surrounded by idiots.' Nami mentally thought with a whimper.
"My dear Princess Vivi, please listen to me carefully." Igaram said. "Once Baroque Works intelligence network learns what happened here, agents will we sent after you immediately. And since they're aware that you've learn the boss' true identity, you must-"
"Yes knowing them, they'll send a thousand agents after me." Vivi complies seriously, leaving Nami frightened when she heard her.
"Thus my plan, disguised like this I will pretend to be you." Igaram explains. "I'll take these five dummies on board with me and I will sail straight course to Alabasta."
"So these things are us?" Luffy asks curiously.
"A decoy." Zoro guessed.
"Which means you're making a diversion in order for us to escape." Anna added.
"Yes." Igaram nods. "While Baroque Works is chasing after me, the rest of you will head with Vivi to Alabasta Kingdon, following a less direct route."
"Hold on just a second." Nami yelled, earned their attention. "Who said we're gonna take her with us?! We haven't discuss the matter of payment."
"Do you even listen to yourself?" Anna asks with annoyance, making Nami gawked. "Like Ventus said, there's more to life than just money and you didn't even take his advise for granted because you're just too greedy."
"Also, money has already been used during the war in Alabasta. Weren't you even listening to what Ventus told us a while ago?" Shanise questions with a scowl.
"Wait a second, payment for what?" Luffy asks in confusion. "Take her where?"
"Where have you been Luffy?" Zoro asks sarcastically, stood up. "The old man here wants us to take the princess back home to her kingdom."
"Oh, is that what this yelling is about? Sure thing." Luffy accepts simply.
"CROCODILE MAY ALREADY BE AFTER US!?" Nami yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth.
"SHUT UP AND STAY OUT OF THIS, NAMI!?" Ventus, Anna, and Shanise yelled back at her with white eyes and shark-like teeth.
Nami take a step back with shock, seeing that she won't win this argument from the three or Luffy which she has no choice but to accept.
"Is this Crocodile guy really that dangerous?" Luffy inquires.
"I heard about him once." Ventus told him when he turn his head to the rubber captain. "Like Jinbe and 'Hawkeye' Mihawk, he's one of the Seven Warlord and it's more than enough reason that he's strong. And because of that there's no bounty on him. Before he became a Warlord, his bounty is 80 million berries."
"80 MILLION! THAT'S FOUR TIMES ARLONGS BOUNTY! THERE'S NO WAY!" Nami yelled with a tear, begged him to turn it down.
"Will you do this for us?" Igaram asks.
"Sure, it sounds like it'll be fun." Luffy accepts with a comply, leaving Nami facepalmed her head.
"We are forever grateful." Igaram said.
For some time later, they're on the other side of Whiskey Peak. Shanise and Mr. 9 have gotten their things ready for setting sail with the Straw Hat pirates since the two former Baroque Works agents are going to journey with them.
"Ma~ma~ma! Now I, Vivi, will leave from here." Igaram announced, imitating like Vivi which it's terrible.
"Great imitation, old guy." Luffy stated with a chuckle.
"Imitation to who?" Zoro asks with sarcasm.
"Well, let's hope this plan works." Mr. 9 said seriously. "There's no telling how long it'll last whenever the Baroque Works will grow suspicious."
"Princess, please give me the Eternal Pose." Igaram kindly demands, leaving Vivi hesitantly handed him the item.
"Eternal Pose?" Nami asks surprisingly. "Ventus, what are those?"
"I never heard of them until now." Ventus told her.
"You've never heard of it? You can say that it sort of like a permeant version of the Log Pose." Igaram explains. "Where as a Log Pose will always lead sailors to the next island on the course. An Eternal Pose will forever remember the magnetic energy of the island that is stored inside it. So it will always point to that island and none other. And this Eternal Pose is set to Alabasta Kingdom."
"And you're going to use this to set your course home?" Vivi asks with worry.
"Princess Vivi, please take indirect island hopping route to Alabasta." Igaram pleads. "I haven't ever gone that way myself, but you should only have to pass two or three islands if you follow the log. Please, take care of the princess in my absence."
"Yeah." Luffy accepts with a smile, leaving Ventus nods with a smile.
"Igaram." Vivi called him, earned his attention when the young Dragoon notice that the princess is against it.
"I expect that your journey is going to be a difficult one. Please, be careful." Igaram told her with a smile.
Vivi is about to protest, but his mind is made up and there's nothing she can do about it. With his decision being made, Vivi held his hand with a smile on her face and spoke.
"See you soon." Vivi said.
With that, Igaram got into the ship with his five dummies and begin to set sail towards Alabasta. Hopefully, they'll meet again at Alabasta and Igaram knew that it was up to Vivi to save their home.
"And off he goes." Luffy said with a smile, chuckled a bit. "He was such a funny old man."
"What's more, he's a very reliable old man." Vivi told him with a smile.
"He is, who'd thought that Mr. 8 is actually the Captain of the Alabasta Security." Shanise said with a smile.
However, it didn't take long when they saw the ship blew up a few seconds later, leaving them stunned with horror.
'Already?!' Ventus mentally shouts as he sniff the air, recognize that scent. 'Oh no, not her!'
"They're already after us?!" Nami exclaims with dread. "That's impossible!"
Luffy then approaches his straw hats that has been blown away, grab hold of it as he then place it on his head. Luffy then shouts with anger.
"Nami! The Log!" Anna shouted.
"We're fine, it's all set." Nami told her.
"Shanise, you, Nami, and Mr. 9 go get Vivi!" Ventus ordered. "The rest of you with me!"
With that, Ventus and the others catch up with Luffy since he's not far as the young Dragoon spoke.
"Luffy, I need you go get Usopp and Sanji! Zoro, Anna, and I are heading to ship!" Ventus ordered the rubber captain.
"Right, I'm on it!" Luffy shouts with a comply.
As soon as Luffy kicked the door, he scan the area when he saw Usopp and Sanji still as sleep as he grab hold of the liar's nose and the cook's leg.
"Come on!" Luffy shouts, dragging the two out of the building.
"Hey! What the hell are doing, Luffy?! Stop it! What's going on?!" Sanji grunts with a shout.
"My nose is going to fall!" Usopp grunts with teary eyes.
"I said let go dammit! Let me down!" Sanji shouts.
Nami, Shanise, and Mr. 9 were able to get Vivi snap out of it while heading toward the Going Merry, but the princess is still looking for Karoo.
"Hurry, Vivi!" Nami shouts.
"Coming." Vivi complies, scan to area to look for the duck. 'Karoo isn't here.'
When Zoro, Anna, and Ventus were able to get to the Going Merry, the young Dragoon pulls the anchor with the help of the swordsman as they place it on the railing.
"Hey! I got'em!" Luffy shouts.
"Bring them up! We're ready to go!" Zoro informed him.
"What?" Luffy said with his raised eyebrow, saw Usopp and Sanji are knocked out. "They're still asleep?"
'They're knocked out, idiot.' Ventus and Anna thought in unison with annoyance.
"We don't have time to look for him!" Nami protests, earned their attention while Luffy drag Usopp and Sanji on the ship.
"I'm going to just leave him here!" Vivi argued.
"What is it now?" Ventus shouts with a question.
"Apparently, Karoo is gone missing and she can't leave without him." Mr. 9 explains.
"This duck?" Zoro asks, points Karoo when it wave his wing and quacked.
"HE'S HERE!?" Nami and Vivi asked with a tick mark on their heads.
"That featherhead here before we did." Anna told them.
"There's a tributary just up the river. If we take it, we can get out to sea faster." Vivi informed them when she got in the ship.
"Alright, let's go!" Luffy ordered as the sails unfurled as they set sail.
"Hey." Zoro called her, earned her attention. "How many people do you think Baroque Works will send after us?"
"I'm not sure. I know that there are about two thousand loyal employees in Baroque Works and and I heard that there are several bases like this one that are set up in the area." Vivi explains.
"They really might send a thousand people?" Nami questioned.
"Yeah and no doubt that the Baroque Works are already on to us now since the name of the boss is identified." Shanise nods seriously.
"What?" Sanji groaned.
"Huh? Hey! The ships leaving!?" Usopp exclaims.
"You're finally awake." Nami said with annoyance when she saw the two woke up.
Seeing that they were back on the ship and that it's sailing off this island made them demand for them to stay longer because of women for Sanji's view point and for Usopp's point of view, he told her that pirates deserve a vacation. They were even asking why they were leaving and if they were ever cross an island like this one, making Ventus, Anna, and Shanise sighed with annoyance along with Mr. 9.
"Are they always like that?" Mr. 9 asks.
"Yep, they're idiots." Ventus answered bluntly.
"We should've just left them behind, geez." Zoro said with annoyance.
"I feel sorry for you guys, putting up to those two." Shanise added when Nami beat them into a pulp.
"Nami, would you explain it to them?" Zoro questioned.
"I just did." Nami answered with a smile.
"Okay, that was fast." Zoro stated.
"I left out the complicated parts." Nami told him.
Somewhere at sea
As soon as the Straw Hat pirates sail out of Whiskey Peak, they're sailing towards the sea which everything is covered in fog.
"We should be reaching the sea soon." Vivi told them.
"Hey cool! Look at all the fog." Luffy said excitedly.
"Finally, it's getting light out." Nami said with relief.
"I'm just glad we got away from the people who are chasing us." The voice of Ms. All-Sunday said.
"That's for sure." Nami agrees.
"With all this fog, we need to be careful to avoid the rocks." Ms. All-Sunday warned them.
"I'll take care of it." Nami said, but soon realize that the voice didn't belong to anyone that they know of. "Ventus, did you..."
"Wasn't me." Ventus shook his head.
"Then, Anna..."
"I didn't say anything." Anna denies.
"The ship is nice." Ms. All-Sunday said with a smirk as they turned their eyes on her with shock.
"What?! Who's that?!" Zoro exclaims with a question.
"It's-It's you!" Vivi stuttered.
"Ms. All-Sunday!" Ventus growled with venomous tone.
"My, my, what a surprise. I didn't expect to see you here, Ventus." Ms. All-Sunday said.
"You know her?" Shanise asks.
"Yeah, she's the person who's working with the Baroque Works and she tried to recruit me. After I refuse her offer, she tried to take me by force, but apparently she picked at the wrong place at the wrong time to pick a fight with me while pissing me off. After that, she promised me to leave and never try to recruit me again." Ventus explains.
"And I also said that the offer is still open if you change your mind." Ms. All-Sunday added. "And if I must say, you've gotten stronger the last time we fought and I heard you took down the entire Alrong pirates and destroyed Arlong Park. I must say I'm impressed. However..."
She then use her Devil Fruit power, making four arms sprout from his back and shoulders as the two of them wrapped his hands and arms behind his back while the other two placed him in a chokehold.
"Thanks to that, I know that you're useless without your lance because your first one is broken." Ms. All-Sunday finished her sentence, making him angry.
"VENTUS!" They screamed.
"Damn! She's using her Devil Fruit powers?!" Mr. 9 exclaims.
"I just happened to run into your dear Mr. 8 a little ways back. He didn't look so good." Ms. All-Sunday told them.
"So you killed Igaram!?" Vivi growled.
"Damn you!" Ventus cursed her with a snarl, getting more angry.
"You!? What are you doing on my ship and how did you get here?!" Luffy demands. "And let go of Ventus!"
"Answer him! What are you doing here?!" Vivi shouts with a demand.
"Tell us! What's Mr. 0's partner doing here?" Shanise added with a question, scowling at her. "If you come here to kill Ventus, then you'll die by our hands!"
"Gah! Crocodile is her partner!?" Namie gasp with shock.
"She's a bad guy?" Luffy assumed.
"She was the only one who knew the boss' identity. That's how we found out who he actually is by following her back to him." Vivi explains with a scowl.
"To be accurate, I allowed it." Ms. All-Sunday corrected her.
"So she's a good guy then." Luffy said.
"I know you knew we were there! You were the one who told the boss what we knew, weren't you?" Vivi shouts with a question.
"That's right." Ms. All-Sunday answered simply.
"Alright, then she is bad." Luffy grumbled.
"Luffy, would you cut it out already." Zoro told him.
"Luffy, stay out of this." Anna added seriously without looking at him.
"You still haven't told us what it is you're doing here?!" Vivi demands.
"Oh right." Ms. All Sunday said, turn her expression into serious. "You were just so serious about the whole thing, I couldn't help myself. A princess doing whatever it would take to help her country while making herself an enemy of Baroque Works. The idea was just so, ridiculous..."
"YOU KILLED HIM!?" Vivi yelled at her when Sanji and stood next to Ms. All-Sunday, pointing the pistol and slingshot at her, ready to shoot. Zoro readied his sword while Nami got her bo staff ready, Shanise readied her battle axe and Mr. 9 readied his bats. Anna then point her bow at Ms. All-Sunday.
"Sanji um, you do realize what you're doing here, right?" Usopp asks.
"Nope, not a clue." Sanji answered. "I just know that the beautiful Ms. Wednesday and our Starwind needs me."
"I would really appreciate it if you would stop pointing those at me." Ms. All-Sunday said with annoyance, using her Devil Fruit powers to throw Sanji and Usopp over the railing. She then use it to have Zoro, Nami, Anna, Mr. 9, and Shanise to let go of their weapons.
"You mean-"
"She's eaten-"
"A Devil Fruit!?" Zoro guessed with a growl.
"But which one? What's her power?" Nami asks with shock.
"WOW~! Now that I get a look, you're beautiful~!" Sanji compliments her, went goo-goo eyes.
"Now there's no need to get so excited. You can all calm down, I haven't been given any orders to follow here." Ms. All-Sunday assured them with a smirk. "I have no reason to fight you."
"If that's true, then why are you here?" Ventus questions.
"Well, I came here to come and find you, so that the boss will have you with us for the Baroque Works." Ms. All-Sunday answered, making Ventus growled with pure anger. "He's clearly impress you were able to take down Alrong and his crew and destroy the structure with one blow. However..."
Luffy's straw hat then floats right into her hand.
"So you're the Captain? I've heard so much about you, Monkey D. Luffy." Ms. All-Sunday said.
"GIVE ME MY HAT BACK!? YOU DON'T WANT ME TO COME UP AND TAKE IT!?" Luffy yelled at her with his shark-like teeth and a tick mark on his head.
"You are a bad person, I demand you leave this instant!" Usopp exclaims, hiding behind the mast.
"Bad luck, taking up a princess who Baroque Works has already made up their mind has eliminated." Ms. All-Sunday mocks. "Protected by a mere handful of pirates, but your luck gets even worse. Because of the direction your Log Pose is indicating, you see? The name of the next island...is Little Garden. We won't even lift a finger, you'll all be dead long before you reach Alabasta."
"Ms. All-Sunday, you're making me angry." Ventus growled at her, looking at her with dragon eyes. "You won't like it when I'm angry."
With that, Ventus manage to free himself by raising his arms with his enhanced strength, causing her to grunt as he breathes fire at her. Ms. All-Sunday was caught off-guard as she dodge the flames, but Ventus quickly grab hold of her as he slammed her down to the deck. Luffy manage to grab his hat just in time as he placed it back on his head.
"Choose your next move carefully...The next move will cost you your life." Ventus hissed with a threat.
"But how was it possible?" Ms. All-Sunday asks with shock. "Last time I remember, you were a human."
"Well, it looks like you're misinformed." Ventus taunts with a smirk as he tighten his grip, making her grunt.
"Now, start talking." Anna demands. "What are you suggesting since you know about islands more than any of us?"
"There's an Eternal Pose in my left pocket." Ms. All-Sunday informed with hesitation. "This one allows to skip right pass Little Garden without stopping, straight to an island near Alabasta. The Pose points to a place known as Nanimonaishima. None of our agents know that course, so you won't be followed."
Anna then take out the Eternal Pose from her left pocket. She analyze and can tell that Ms. All-Sunday is telling the truth, the Eternal Pose is pointing towards Nanimonaishima.
"It's your choice, Luffy." Anna said, turned her head to him. "Take up her offer or stay on course?"
"What? So she's good after all?" Nami asks in confusion.
"Why are you giving this to us?!" Vivi demands.
"It's gotta be a trap." Zoro guessed seriously.
"Oh does it?" Ms. All-Sunday questions.
After a few moments later, Luffy made up his mind as he approaches the ranger, grab hold of the Eternal Pose as he spoke.
"Forget your thingy! We don't need it!" Luffy refused with serious expression, breaks it into two.
Nami gasp with shock as she then kick Luffy.
"YOU JERK!?" Nami yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth. "SHE JUST WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO SHOW US AN EASIER COURSE TO FOLLOW! THEN SHE ACTUALLY IS TRYING TO HELP US GET AWAY!"
"You aren't the one who decides where this ship goes." Luffy told her, ignoring Nami's ranting.
Though, Ms. All-Sunday didn't like his answer since he still take course to Little Garden as she break the silence.
"Well, that's too bad." Ms. All-Sunday said with a smirk.
"She blew up that funny old man and he was nice. So I hate her." Luffy told her.
"And I'm going to do the same way as you did to Igaram." Ventus said with venomous tone, making Ms. All-Sunday frightened as he readied his claw. "I'm going to enjoy gutting you from the inside out like a stuffed pig and making you scream until you die."
The rest of the Straw Hat pirates and the former Baroque Works agents were completely stunned, seeing Ventus is about to torture her and his temper is flaring up since she's about to take him to Crocodile. Anna intervenes when she place her hand on his shoulder and spoke.
"Ventus, I understand your anger, but if you kill her, then you are no better than those two of your uncles." Anna told her calmly.
"She's right, you need to calm down kid." Zoro added with assurance. "It's not worth it to kill her."
"Just let her go Ventus, she's not worth it." Luffy ordered.
Ventus knew that they're right which he would rather kill her than let her go, but if he ever did kill Ms. All-Sunday, then he's no better than his two uncles. He reluctantly lets her go, made her leave while cautiously look at me.
"Well, if you survive, I hope that we'll meet again." Ms. All-Sunday said.
"NO!" Luffy replied simply like a child.
"Ventus, the offer still opens." Ms. All-Sunday said with a smirk.
Ventus have had enough as he was about to go after her, but restrained by Usopp and Sanji as they tried to hold him back. Ms. All-Sunday take her chance as she jump off the ship, landed on the huge turtle.
"Let's go, Banchi." Ms. All-Sunday ordered when the Straw Hat pirates and two former Baroque Works agents look over at the railing.
"Wha-What is that thing?" Zoro asks shockingly.
"It isn't a Sea King, is it?" Usopp asks. "No!"
"Whoa! A Turtle!" They all said in awe in unison, looking at the huge turtle.
"Oh wow, that thing is huge." Luffy said.
Though, Vivi is feeling uneasy about all of this since Ms. All-Sunday did kill Igaram and give them an Eternal Pose to the pirates which of course, Luffy refuses while Ventus refuse to join the Baroque Works. Whatever is going up on Ms. All-Sunday's head is a complete mystery.
"That woman...I don't even have the slightest idea what's going on through her head." Vivi said, collapse down to her knees.
"Then there's no point in thinking about it, is there?" Nami points out.
"And someone on this boat is just like that." Zoro added.
Though, both Sanji and Usopp still wanted an explanation since they miss the entire thing back in Whiskey Peak, but the cook is glad that Vivi is part of the crew. Nami then begin to give those two an explanation about what has been happening. When she finished explaining, Sanji then spoke.
"I see, it's too bad I missed out in all the fun." Sanji said with a smirk. "But it sounds as if there are still plenty of demand for my skills. No need to worry now that you're sleeping princess is awoken my sweet, you will be safe."
'Oh brother, not again.' Ventus thought with annoyance.
"Whoa! Glad it wasn't me!" Usopp exclaim nervously.
"My dears, are you getting jealous?" Sanji asks.
"No." Anna, Shanise, and Nami answered with a deadpan expression.
"Excuse me." Vivi called them, earned their attention. "I'm sorry, but is it really alright that I'm on your ship? I'm just causing you all a lot of trouble."
Ventus doesn't pay any attention to them as he head towards the lower deck, leaning against the wooden rail while having some deep thought.
'I'm just glad I get to see Shanise again, it's been a long time since she's been a nun, a warrior, and a lumberjack in Ishgard. She's been a great help to my mother.' Ventus mentally thought. 'And as for Ms. All-Sunday, why is she tried to help us? After what she did to Igaram and what she's trying to do to me. She probably think I have Devil Fruit powers, but she doesn't know about it. But what really worries me is that she's a complete mystery and very hard to read.'
"What is Ventus doing?" Vivi asks curiously.
"He's just having some deep thought." Anna replied.
"What is he thinking?" Vivi inquires.
"Well you see, Ventus would tell us whenever there's something on his mind. He's getting to know us better because he's opening up when he's part of our crew." Nami explains. "Even so, he just needs some time alone after that, you know?"
"Yeah, we notice his temper has flared up a bit." Shanise nods.
"In any case, since we became the Baroque Works hitlist, it'll be best that we ready for them and be on our guard." Mr. 9 suggests. "After all, we are heading to Alabasta. Isn't that right, Straw Hat?"
"Yeah, I'm hungry too!" Luffy announced.
"Um, I don't think he cares, Mr. 9." Vivi told him with a sweat drop.
"Please, there's no need to call me that. I go by the name Ivan." Ivan said. "You see, I use to work at the circus as part of the acrobats back in my day before I work for the Baroque Works. So, I'm no longer a Baroque Works agent, Princess Vivi."
Vivi then give him a nod with a smile.
"Well for now, at least we know where we're headed too." Zoro said with a sigh.
"Little Garden, huh?" Sanji said, wondered.
"Remember what she said? Are we gonna die?" Usopp asks with scared expression.
"Who knows? Let's Go!" Luffy ordered.
With that, there next course is to Little Garden as their journey continues.
